Name:
Naanash
Age: 19
Gender:Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Craft/Rank: Herbalist/ bonesetter - N/A (Don't know really what to call him)

History: History: Naanash and his twin sibling Vaail are the eldest of their father's known children. Shrike might have more, shards if he knows, but besides Vail and Nash, the family includes Shrike's live in boyfriend Loche, and Shrike's daughter, Hollin, and youngest son, Sunny. There is seven years between the twins and Hollin (12) and eight between her and Sunny (4). The gap in ages between children work well, enabling both the twins to look after Hollin and later Hollin to look after Sunny while the twins worked and studied in their various crafts.

(Touching on their father for a moment here)

Shrike early in his years worked as a body guard for a less then reputable Lord holder. Starting young at barely 18 turns he ended burnt out and crippled in his early thirties. Tired and irritable, he left the hold and took to wandering about the southern continent taking odd jobs and teaching young guards how not to end up killed. He joined up with a group of traders a turn in and settled into teaching. Teaching was alright. It didn't make the type of marks that body guarding had but it certainly was more honest work. He was rather thankful for it when he ended up with a sort of boyfriend and a set of twins and shards, he was fifty not a spring wherrie and now he had children. Sleeping next to a campfire wasn't going to cut it with a pair of infants. It wasn't really cutting it now he was aging.

He bought a wagon and a pair of even temper mules and managed to get Loche onboard to stay. Shrike may have a shredded leg and partially blind in one eye and Loche may be missing a hand but that didn't stop them from teaching stupid, young, reckless men that no, they are not the baddest thing in all creation. Actually the baddest thing in all creation had to be the twins, and later his daughter, and how his youngest son. He doesn't know if Loche has any kids... if he does well, they haven't found him.

(And back to Naanash)

While his twin ended up captivated by the arts, Nash found himself drawn to the craft of healing. He started to learn first with the group healer and when they entered holds and cotholds would seek out the local healers, midwives, and home care nurses to expand on his knowledge.

The more the turns passed the more he found himself organizing and caring for his family. He kept track of his youngest sibling and settled in doing household chores. When he isn't working with his teacher, he is making sure meals are made and laundry and dishes get washed. He also tends to keep Vail from throwing himself into too much trouble.

Nash kept very neat notes and studied as they traveled. He doesn't have a wide range of skills as a professorial healer would have, surgery is beyond him but he does his best to set bones in place and has a steady hand for the cleaning and stitching of wounds. Nash is closer to a field medic mixed with a housewife. His focus is to patch the wounded enough for them to survive to find a professional healer.

In the later years, Nash worked as a part of the families training school. His father and 'Uncle' figure knock them down and Nash treats their aches and pains and the occasional accident with sure quick hands.

- The flit-
Harbringer is two turns old and Naanash think her brain is scrambled. Actually, a lot of the traders think she just evil incarnated. She loves Naanash, grudgingly likes Hollin, tolerates Shrike and Loche, and barely tolerates Vail and Sunny. It is pretty well known that Harbringer is not a friendly flit, enough that people are general warn, do not touch.

Harper - ironic nickname considering the little gold personality is akin to being dipped in an acid bath and then being rubbed in sand- was a present. A sort of accident considering Shrike and Loche disappeared to have a good time and ended up being interrupted a tunnel snake carrying an egg.

Needless to say Tunnel snake + Lack of pants does not equate good time. It = kill the sharding thing so we can continue making out without the kids.

It turns out that whatever queen laid Harbringer's egg was not the smartest thing, considering said dead tunnel snake wasn't the only one that raided the nest. Three more tunnel snakes went pass and it was decided there was too many blasted snakes to continue. Fun times lose to the possibility of getting bit someplace sensitive by a maybe poisonous creature.

Wait, is that egg moving? Shrike has always have the deepest respect for tenacious little creatures and took the battered, struggling flit egg home and gifted it to Naanash trusting him to care for whatever hatched. They were not expecting the shell to burst into a angry savage little gold flit. Harbringer screeched at everyone and bit Vail twice when he tried to help.

Description: Nash is rawboned, he is tall, lanky and all sharp angles and seems to be underweight. His hair is kept to a soft black fuzz with a half dollar size allowed to grow long at the base of his skull and braided in a tail. His hair is flat black in color. His eyes are narrow in shape, heavy lidded with a long fringe of lash giving him a sleepy look. Nash's irises are bright green, sharp and alert. He olived skinned with a faint redwort stain from elbows to fingertips. His face like the rest of him is sharp, mainly his hooked, sharp ridged nosed and angular chin. His face is rather long, narrow and he has thin lips. The upper is softer, and his mouth is a tad wide giving him very toothy smiles that are often meant to be less then friendly.

Personality: Sarcastic to Cynical. Nash has a lashing and biting tongue and quick to pick up tiny tells and to cut a person down to the bone with simple words. Not being a physical fighter, Nash's weapon is his tongue and wits.

Nash hates physical fighting but he has a lot of practice since he tends to be dragged into fights by his twin. He has picked up a bit of knowledge from Shrike, his father at the very least made sure he knew the basics of self defense. Loche likes fighting dirty so he has learned a few illicit moves and is willing enough to use his environment to his advantage just to end it faster. As much as he hates fighting, and confrontation outside of patients, he has to keep Vaail from doing something deadly stupid.

While he careful not to be overly sarcastic or cynical to his younger siblings he has a free range of snarkiness with Loche and Shrike. Loche is an a*****e and Shrike doesn't care about priority. He suffers a bit of teasing for sometimes being dark but the world is a nasty place. Being sarcastic and cynical is nearly a form of family bonding between them. Vail response is to drag his brother off for fun! Which usually equates to 'I doomed.'

Nash is not a kind healer. He isn't all you will be fine he is more 'why didn't you duck?' Some people bounce back and reply in kind. Others look hurt and he tries to be more professional. His bed side manner might not be all rainbow and sunshine but they can't deny he does a good job.

Apprehensive, Nash's come across as a smart aleck and devil may care attitude stems from the knowledge that his father is aging and the life they have enjoyed will end soon. He puts on a rakish appearance to make himself seem unworried but he isn't sure if he will be able to hold the family together when his father does die. He doesn't make many relationship, he finds socializing with most people trying. He is rather mature for his age and not very big on social niceties.

Loyal and Organized. Nash is deeply loyal to his family and to his
patience's privacy. He works on keeping them together, soothing tempers and generally handling day to day things, such as buying ingredients for dinner and making sure Sunny takes a bath. He has a organized system of storing his herbs and supplies.

Committed. Nash commits to people, relationships starting slow and developing over turns. He has a handful of relationships, unlike his twin who has nearly exceeded double digits. Nash tends to date widows and older woman between the frame of 23 to 30 turns. Needless to say there has been a bit of teasing by his twin. He does have a bit of a strange idea of commitment considering he 'dated' the three woman simultaneously. They belong to different holds, he travels, he at least repeatedly sees them over and over again while his twin bounces from person to person.

Fears... the first has to be that his twin is going to do something rash and end up injured alone or in a way he can't fix. That his father will die before his little brother is old enough to find a craft. That he would end up raising his siblings and Loche will disappear in grief or anger.

Lifelong ambitions? Simply living. He is not one to plan for turns ahead nor is he sure he wants to go farther in his craft because it would mean a permanent residency.

Other: Left handed and nearly photographic memory
Owns a gold flit name Harbringer - she is a bitey little thing Link

Hey!

No major problems here, just a few details.

Appearance - Chartreuse isn't quiet a natural human eye colour. Bright or light green is fine, but chartreuse is a bit strong a hue.

History - All good! Just mention where and when he got hold of his flitt if you would.

Personality - I'd like to know a bit more about how he functions in a social group given his smart aleck nature but inner insecurity. Does the insecurity stop him forming close relationships, or make it hard?

How does he cope with conflict does turn physical? Will he stand his ground or run when faced with somebody he knows he can't win against?

What are his fears, hopes, dreams and so on?

Hey, just a couple more things, sorry if I failed to note one of them last time I read!

You said he's a verbal not a physical fighter but later in the paragraph mention he enjoys fighting dirty. Does he end up fighting a lot thanks to his twin despite not being a fighter?

Does his sarcastic cynical nature ever bleed over to his family and patients? How would he take it if other people ever say this?

What are his fears, and life ambitions?

Thanks again!
