This is the building that Isaiah and his sister Helena live in. Yet, when I say 'building' and 'live in', what I really mean to say is that they live on the uttermost top floors of the building in the penthouse suites. Both have their own separate apartments, and both have views that not only receive the glorious sunrises that appear over the city, but get to witness the beautiful sunsets too.

Their apartments can only be accessed with special swipe cards, with the elevator that leads to Isaiah's apartment being on the left side, Helena's is on the right. The complex is right on the edge of the busy hub of the city, and a ten minute drive away from their nightclub, Electronica. Although the siblings have the entire top few floors to themselves, their apartments being two story (and in Isaiah's case, three), there is a gym around the middle level that has a weights room, and a yoga room. On Fridays the weights room is cleared to host fast-paced dance classes, and on Wednesdays the yoga room is cleared to host more exotic dances like belly-dancing and sometimes even interpretive dance.

It seemed like the spirit really thrived more being out in the sunlight, and for the first time the lyan was glad that her brother's and her own apartment had huge windows that let in a lot of light, and that there was a cute little balcony in the secluded lounge room. Clear grey eyes noticed the subtle changes in the woman - the colour returning to her face - and her scent had slowly returned to it's lovely springtime freshness. Hope lifted in Helena's chest as Aiyana hesitantly agreed to look around that one shop, and standing up slowly, she let the spirit move at her own pace, and just like she said, they walked around the outside of the center so she could stay in the sunlight. Pointing out a few more shops on the way, a small surprise came in the form of Aiyana's hand slipping into her own, and gently holding it, the lycan felt a strong sense of protectiveness towards the gentle woman. Helena was quite motherly at heart, so watching over the spirit was right in her neck of the woods.

Pointing out a few styles of dresses; day, night, semi-formal, cocktail and maxi dresses, Helena felt some pride though when Aiyana began to point out ones she liked - all beautiful pastels or delicate floral prints - and even touched a few to feel the different kinds of material. Admittedly, she felt bad when she laughed at the descriptions that Aiyana gave for the different materials, but it wasn't a condescending laugh. It was merely a happy one, a pleased one for the fact that the flower spirit was opening up a small amount. Off in her own little world, a tug at her hand brought her attention quickly back to Aiyana with curious eyes. She was ready to leave? "Yes, alright. I've got an idea on what you like, and it'll be easy for us to order some nice things for you from home. Don't worry, I'll do it all the first time so you know what I'm on about." Without any more hesitation, Helena took the sprite out the shops and walked back to her car, taking her time to let the sun-loving spirit have as much time as possible in the light; it was a long drive back to the city.

Showing Aiyana how to work the electric windows of her car so she wouldn't feel cooped up and caged while they drove, Helena pulled away from the shops and set off home, taking Aiyana far away from the manor for good. It was quite a long drive, so on the way, Helena explained some more about her brother and how they lived. "Being what we are - lycanthropes - my brother and I... Have to eat a lot of meat. We do eat vegetables and fruits, but because we are essentially wolves, we do have to eat a lot of red meat. I just don't want you to freak out at the sight of meat, since I'm assuming you have a mainly meat-free diet, yes?" Falling silent for a few moments, Helena tried to think of other important things to mention. "Ummm... I really can't think of much more; everything else can be explained at the apartment. I live basically next door, so if you ever need anything or if you need some space from my brother - I know I do - you just call me and you can come spend time with me!" Shooting the woman a kind grin, Helena fell silent again until the city began to come into sight. "Even though we live in the heart of the city, there is a lovely huge park right opposite our building. If you ever want to go see it, my brother or myself can take you no problem. We like to be outside a fair bit so it's no trouble."

Making her way through the somewhat busy city streets, the woman fell silent as she concentrated. Yet, after not even ten minutes, Helena gently touched Aiyana's shoulder and pointed out a large, beautiful park just by the traffic lights they were stopped at. "There's the park I told you about. And the huge white building near it is your new home." Driving around the park to get to the tenants parking of the apartment complex, Helena grabbed her handbag and waited for Aiyana to leave her car before locking it once more and leading her to the entrance of the building. Waving at the concierge behind the desk, Helena entered the middle elevator of three and pulled out a keycard from the depths of her handbag. Swiping it, a pleased sounding 'beep' sounded. "Helena Aislyn O'Conner, welcome back." The clearly automated voice acknowledged the wolf's identity and waited for her to confirm her destination. Pressing one of two buttons at the very top of the floor choices, again the lift gave a pleased sounding ding and with doors firmly shut, they ascended to the floor that Helena and Isaiah lived on. Standing close to Aiyana for comfort, the ride was over and done with in just a handful of 'mississippi's. Doors opening, the two stepped out into a small hallway with one door to the left, and another to the right. Leading the flower spirit to the one of the left, she inserted her card into a reader and as a green light went off, the door clicked open. "Welcome to your new home." Helena gently said as she let Aiyana in first, closing the door behind her.

"Isaiah~?" Gentle voice echoing through the lower floor of the apartment, the woman knew her brother would hear her if he was home; likewise she'd hear his reply if he was. "Hmm, seems we beat him home." The woman mused, walking into the joint living and dining area that was the very first room of the apartment. "I don't feel right, showing you around without him, so why don't we..." And not even getting a chance to finish her sentence, the click of the door opening sounded, and the woman jumped straight to her feet, hurrying over to Aiyana to stand by her side with a grin as her brother walked in the door. The siblings shared some facial feature, but it was clear that the male got all the height. Staring at his sister and the strange woman she was with, Isaiah walked over to the coffee table in his living room and put down his keys and other possessions. His shoulder length brown hair was tied back neatly into a ponytail and slowly turning around, his eyes that were as blue as a summer sky seemed warm and curious.

"Should'a told me ya were bringin' a friend around!" Compared to his sister, Isaiah's Irish accent was clearly much more pronounced, and he was just a little bit louder than his sibling. Walking slowly up to Aiyana, the taller male gently took her hand and went to kiss the back of it, pausing mere centimetres from her skin. I"Springtime... What an odd but delightful scent ye have." Lightly kissing Aiyana's hand, he stepped back and dipped an imaginary hat. "Isaiah Sean, it's nice ta meet ya." Introducing himself formerly, his eyes turned to his sister. "An' who's this lovely little flower, hmm?" Hitting the nail right on the head without realising it, Helena grinned. "Isaiah, this is Aiyana. She's... Come to help you out at home." Getting a less than pleased but otherwise curious look from Isaiah, the woman continued in a much sterner and stronger tone. "You.. You know how I've felt lately about your... Actions. Well, Aiyana is here to help you out. She's going to be living here with you to make sure you meet deadlines and get to meetings. And don't even think about back-talking to me!" Stepping forward and holding a finger up in front of her to make a point, the male looked rather surprised at his sister's dominance.

"I am.. So worried about you right now. You need to get back on track and I've exhausted all other options." Sounding more upset than angry now, the woman didn't shrug off her brother's hand being kindly placed on her shoulder. "So... You better take care of Aiyana, because I know she'll do an amazing job of looking after you." Shutting her eyes and sighing as a hand stroked her cheek, Isaiah chuckled softly. "Okay okay, I get it. Just calm your pretty lil' face okay?" Turning to Aiyana now, pulling his sister into a one armed hug as well, he smiled at her politely, even though it was clear he was hurt by what his sister had decided to do. "A'ight. Since you'll be livin' here, howsa 'bout a tour, ey?" Falling silent as his sister whispered something in his ear, Isaiah nodded. "Ah~ Okay! An' maybe afterwards, Helena can show you how ta order things on the computer while I make lunch." Letting go of his sister who was now struggling, the male's eyes became warmer as he focussed on the very pretty flower spirit, offering her his arm to take. "So let's show you around alright? Tell me about yaself too." Speaking much softer and warmer to the woman, he wouldn't set off until she was ready to look around. As angry and upset as he was with his sister, he couldn't deny that his new "assistant" was absolutely breathtaking.

Spring this year was going to be a tough one.

              ||o.o.c;; oh the joy of cloud storage + phone apps ;D I'll write the tour in the next post okay? ;D ||

As a plant spirit, a nature spirit, it should come as no surprise that Aiyana thrived on sunlight like any plant would. She needed it to live and had been locked away from it for years on end by cruel masters, often for no other reason than because they could. One had been a scientist, or so he claimed, and he had kept her away from sunlight and water so long she had thought she'd die. He had been her last master and had died first - another slave grew tired of being used as a toy and snapped, ripping his throat out. And possibly eating him, but Aiyana had never asked, nor wanted to. Helena was different, though. That much was obvious from the moment they met, but the more time she spent with the lycanthrope, the more relaxed she became. It was obvious that the woman was doing her best to care for her, letting her stay out in the sun and the keep close to her as they walked around the store. Even her laugh didn't bother her as she felt the clothing, as Aiyana was able to tell the difference by now between being laughed at and just...laughter.

When Helena said that they could go, the flower spirit was relieved that she was so easily being allowed to do as she wished - for now, at least. She was still wary of what might happen in the future. What surprised her was when the woman continued to talk about dresses and getting her things, as if she was going to enjoy doing such a thing. Aiyana didn't argue, merely sticking to her side as they left the building, and noticed the woman's strides were shorter and slower for some reason. Although the flower spirit didn't realize it was to allow her as much time outside as possible, she dis smile a bit and appreciated being able to bask more in the sun, glad there were no clouds in the sky. She loved the rain as well, but after so many dark, lonely days the sun was the most beautiful thing on the planet for her right now. The car ride was much more bearable than it had been before, the windows rolled down, and she closed her eyes to simply feel the breeze on her face as the lycanthrope took her home.

Aiyana found herself wishing the woman was going to be her master, rather than the unknown male she was being taken to. Helena was kind and generous, she had a soft sort of feeling about her despite what she was and Aiyana felt safe. While the woman talked about herself and her brother, the new home she was going to and all sorts of things, Aiyana was silent. Other than a brief nod when asked if she had a meat-free diet, she remained still as well, content to look out the window. She grew a bit depressed as the grass and trees abruptly shifted to concrete and pavement and wondered how she was going to survive in a place like this. "You have everywhere else...you can do this. Don't be afraid," she told herself, repeating the words she had told many others over the years. The sight of the park perked her up a bit and they continued on their way all-too soon for her taste. The white building was frightening to her and her eyes widened as they approached it, realizing that was to be her new home. As the lycanthrope left the car once it stopped, Aiyana scrambled out - not in a desire to be inside, but a fear of being alone in a place like this. Even if it was childish, the flower spirit slipped her hand through Helena's while they walked, holding on tightly as she went from looking around to looking down at the ground, as she'd been taught. She hated buildings and being inside, especially in cold places like this. The elevator was an absolute nightmare and she was frozen, gripping the woman's hand with a surprising amount of strength for one so apparently fragile. She had no idea what technology was and the odd noises and voices made her anxious, wondering if they were masters as well now.

It was almost a relief to be inside the apartment and she looked around curiously after a minute, forced to let go of Helena's hand as she called for her brother and looked around. As soon as the male was there, Aiyana stiffened, her throat tight. Even in a human form he was large and dangerous. The instinct to run from a predator, bred into her from birth and only strengthened throughout the years, almost took over when he approached them, her eyes wide. Helena's presence was the only thing keeping her from bolting and her hand was limp in his as he took it. Aiyana was completely silent throughout the exchange, save for shrinking back a bit when it was clear he was angry and they were arguing. There had been enough of that in her experience that she knew how it would end - someone would take it out on her. When instead they made up, slightly calming down though it was clear to her the male - Isaiah? - was still angry, she was confused. He didn't like her being here and Aiyana wondered if Helena would change her mind and bring her home with her instead. The fact that the man was stunningly handsome wasn't even registered through her fear of him, despite the fact he'd done nothing to her. His mere presence was enough to rob her of her voice. Offered his arm, she clasped her hands behind her back tightly and swallowed. It was rude and she expected to be hit for it - but she didn't want him to touch her. Ever, if she could help it.

At the order to talk about herself, she was at a loss and her gaze went to Helena, eyes pleading. It didn't matter his tone was calmer, his gaze softer - she was terrified of being alone with him. Since she'd been captured and used as a slave, there had never been a kind male in her life and after a very, very long time of such masters, it was an instinct to fear them. To fear almost anything, really, though Helena's own kindness had managed to penetrate the barrier the flower spirit had put up. "I...I don't..." Her voice trailed off and she tried to swallow. Her hands were holding each other so tightly her knuckles were whiter than her face.

“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.”

That scent. That undeniably strong scent of a fear so deeply rooted it changed a person. Her stuttered words tore at Isaiah - and Helena's - heartstrings and taking in every ounce of her body language, with a pained sigh Isaiah turned to Helena, who had a most guilty look on her face. She could smell the slave manor on Aiyana beneath the fear and the beautiful spring freshness, so she was quite aware that Isaiah could smell what she could. "Helena... You went to that place, unescorted?" Worry, sheer worry, was all that was in his voice. No anger, no fury, just sheer concern that his sister went to a place that housed and sold slaves, even with their history. "Why? You fear those places... You know I fear those places too..." His voice was soft, the fear that came from Aiyana fuelling the concern and worry in his heart. Reaching out for his sibling, Helena quickly stepped into his arms, placing her face against his chest with a submissive, wolfish whine. "I don't know... I don't trust people around here, I only went to see what business they ran, to see what they did. But then... I-I saw her file. They told me of a slave that was gentle but had been through so much. I saw her, I saw Aiyana and I just... How could I leave her there, stuck in a room, with no way to reach the sunlight she needs? She's a flower spirit... I couldn't leave her there, when we have so much space to offer her, so much area to give her to grow plants and bask in the sun."

Resting his chin on his sister's head as she finished her little speech, Isaiah shut his eyes and sighed deeply. His anger towards his sister's motives was completely gone. Sure he'd been hurt by the fact Helena had lost all faith in him, but how could he be upset when his sister had just been herself? The kind, thoughtful wolf she had always been. "Helena... I am sorry, so sorry I doubted yer motives. Those places, you know I don't trust 'em. Too many times in the old days... But I know ye'd rather save a life than let it be wasted. I'm proud of you fer facing that fear." Kissing his sister gently on the head, he released her and feeling just a little sheepish, Isaiah turned his attention to Aiyana once again, his stomach tightening upon smelling her scent again.

"If you would let me, I'd like to show you the apartment, so you know where ev'rythin' is." Offering just a smile, his hands in his pants pockets, he knew now that the woman wouldn't take his arm or hand even if he offered, so instead he just offered up her own choice. It took a moment, but when he took a few steps forward and she followed uncertainly, it all but made Isaiah sing in joy. If she was willing enough to take the tour, it was a start. A small one, but it was a start. He didn't blame her for not trusting him, he was male, and judging from what his sister had said, he wouldn't blame her if she never trusted him. Slowly though, going at a nice easy pace for the spirit, Isaiah showed Aiyana around the apartment, keeping a respectable amount of distance between himself and the spirit. While Isaiah showed Aiyana through the apartment, Helena busied herself in the kitchen, checking out her brother's food supplies. Finding he was lacking foods that Aiyana would eat, the woman used her smartphone to log onto a website to order groceries online. It was only three in the afternoon, so at the latest, they'd be the last delivery of the day - or the first tomorrow morning. Checking the priority box, she put her phone back in her handbag and made her own way up to the rooftop, assuming that Isaiah would be finished by now.

Intentionally, Isaiah skipped showing Aiyana her room, in favour of skipping both bedrooms on the second floor to take Aiyana straight up to the roof. The wolf had taken the hint Helena had given him about the woman liking sun and the blatant point that she was a flower spirit, and leading her to the French fold doors that lead to the roof, he pushed them open with a smile. "This is my favourite spot. There's heap o' room up 'ere. I really hope you like it as much as I do." Encouraging the spirit to come outside into the late afternoon sun, Isaiah opened his arms to indicate she should look around. The pool - obviously meant to be the focal point of the roof - was overshadowed by the grand view from the top of the building, right near where the spa and small bar was. By the pool was a large, empty area that was just ready and waiting to be turned into anything. "If ye want, we can get some large pots and troughs, some soil and you can grow yer own garden up here. I want... I want you to try and feel comfortable here." Looking out over the city, Isaiah kept his hands in his pockets as Helena quietly made her way out the French doors as well. "I know you could ne'er call this place home. I don't blame ya either." Chuckling somewhat sadly, he shrugged his shoulders and managed to give Aiyana a gentle smile. "But if I can make this place comfortable for ya, then I will try my very best." Placing a hand over his heart, he gave her a small, respectable bow as Helena walked over to stand next to him.

"The pool is maintained by natural minerals, not chlorine or chemicals. The smells aggravate our noses, and it's much easier to keep the plants healthy in summer if we can scoop water straight out the pool to give them a drink because it's as pure as possible. Sure it's much more expensive but... It's worth it." Tugging on Isaiah's sleeve to get his attention, the male turned to Helena with a questioning hum. "I ordered some groceries from the farmer's market. They'll either be delivered in the last shipment of the day, or first thing tomorrow." Getting a headrub of approval, Helena giggled happily, closing her eyes. "Aiyana, let us know when you'd like to see your room. I'll go get you some clothes to sleep in, and some comfortable items too. I'll show you how to use the computer too when we find some clothes for yourself, unless you'd rather me do it while you bathe. It's up to you." Leaning against her brother, their sibling bond was clearly a strong one, because instantly Isaiah began to rub his sister's head again, her eyes closing. After a few minutes though, Helena removed herself from her brother's side in favour of finding a drink from the bar - the drink being water. Isaiah didn't want to wander too far from Aiyana in case she wanted something, but he did sit down on a chair nearby, giving the spirit silent approval to wander the roof top and explore the area.

Aiyana was quiet as she watched the siblings, taking a few steps away from them while they talked. It was obvious to her they loved each other deeply and it almost made her smile, if she hadn't been recovering from the fright of the male coming so close to her. The flower spirit knew nothing of them, nothing of their history with anything, but could tell that Helena going to the slave shop had been a big deal, a surprise. And for that she found herself eternally grateful, knowing no one else would have ever taken her out of there. Even if someone had, they never would have been as kind to her as the woman there was, taking care of her and babying her fears rather than forcing her through them and breaking her. That alone, Helena's own kindness, had kept the flower spirit from panicking and flat-out running when the female's brother had approached her. Had even come in the room. It was so rare, though, for her to see siblings at all that she had almost forgotten - she realized she had forgotten what it was like with her own family. Her heart twisted in pain as she watched the pair, Helena's words about her going unheard as she grew lost in her own memories, what was left.

Startled out of her thoughts when the male spoke to her again, she looked at him, fear blooming in her eyes, before it calmed slightly as he kept his distance. Aiyana watched him warily, all of her attention on the one she felt might hurt her, or try to, and was more than relieved when he didn't try to touch her again. Unsure whether he was actually giving her a choice to follow him, or merely trying to make her comfortable enough to do so on her own before he made her, she swallowed and hesitantly padded after him when he began to walk. She was careful to keep a good distance between them. Although she was fairly certain staying out of arm's reach meant little to anyone other than a human, it still made her feel better and just a tiny bit safer. Wishing Helena had come with them, she kept her hands tightly clasped behind her back. Her focus was more on the male than the home, though she gave it quick, careful glances. She had little experience with interiors and couldn't have judged it if her life depended on it. It seemed nice enough, she supposed, for a creature that preferred to be outdoors most of the time anyway.

When they reached the roof, however, she let out a breath and looked around in surprise. She knew Helena had mentioned they had room, but she hadn't expected such a thing. There was no assault on her senses of chemicals or toxins from the pool, which surprised the spirit until she heard the female explaining. The male's words and bow had gone mostly unnoticed, as she simply didn't know how to react to any of it. It was surprising to her that he seemed to understand she wasn't comfortable and that he didn't expect her to think of this as a home. What was more surprising was the fact he was being kind about it, especially as she'd been foisted on him by his sister. The mention of having a garden perked her up a bit, as she looked around and watched as Helena went over for some water.

Finding herself thirsty, she glanced hesitantly at the male before padding after the woman. Tugging on her sleeve a bit and getting a questioning look in response, Aiyana looked sheepish. "Can I have some?" she asked softly, looking at the water in Helena's hands. Getting her own glass in a moment, she drained it in a few swallows and waited patiently for a refill, a small smile coaxed out of her as she took it and held it in her hands while she went to curiously explore the rest of the roof. There wasn't too much, and nothing she was especially eager to see, and it was only a short time before she simply wandered back over, sticking near Helena. "What's a computer?" Aiyana asked her blankly, having finished off the second glass and looking as if she could drink the pool and be perfectly fine.

She was adorable. Isaiah couldn't help but think that. She reminded him of all the good things in life, and how people could still be innocent and kind. He didn't feel innocent at all. Compared to her, he felt dirty and disgusting. Isaiah's mind had gone from warming to the idea of Aiyana living with him to fearing it. He didn't feel worthy to live with such a charming beauty, and although it was impossible, he was worried that his "dirt" would taint her. Blue eyes followed the woman as she padded over to Helena to ask for a drink, and with a warm grin his sister had nodded a reply. Waiting for Aiyana to get her own glass, Helena filled it right up for the spirit, and promptly re-filled it once it was empty with the same warm grin. The woman really was quite skittish, and the wolf siblings felt for her. They didn't want to know what happened to the poor thing, but they did want to show her that she had every right to be happy again; no matter how long it might take. Two sets of eyes watched Aiyana study the roof top garden for a moment, Helena's gaze soon turning to Isaiah who was intently watching the blonde. She could tell her brother had doubts, but what kind she couldn't figure out. He was watching the blonde with wolfish curiosity but there was something about the way he was watching her that made Helena feel sad - it was like it hurt him to watch her.

As Aiyana returned to Helena's side to ask about the computer, the kindly brunette filled up her glass again. Peeking over at Isaiah who still seemed lost in a thought she couldn't understand, the woman chewed her lip for a moment. "A computer is a machine that... Well, it's made to... Umm..." Quite unsure how to explain exactly what a computer was, Isaiah sensed his sister's troubles and without hesitation, jumped straight into a simple but good explanation. "Think of as a computer like a library, shopping center, photo album and video all in one. But instead of access to only a few shops like in a mall, or your own pictures and videos, you have access to shops across the world! Knowledge that would put encyclopaedia's to shame, and access to videos and pictures from every corner of the globe. All within a couple of seconds." Keeping his spot on the outdoor chair, Isaiah just smiled at Aiyana. "We don't expect you to use it straight away, Aiyana dear. Let us know when you feel ready to learn, and until then we'll do all the typing and whatnot."

A gentle and loving hand was softly placed on Aiyana's shoulder, and a kind smile was offered up from Helena. "How about we go inside and we'll order you some pretty dresses. They'll be delivered tomorrow. I'll do all the typing, you can just point at ones you think are pretty or would be comfortable." Putting the water back into the bar fridge, she left her glass on the bartop and went to make her way back inside. A hand on her wrist stopped her, and looking down at her brother, she gazed at him in a most curious manner. "Could you stay tonight? I think it would make Aiyana feel more comfortable if you stay the night." Of course, it wasn't just Aiyana that might have been more comfortable with the female staying, but Isaiah would never admit that he wanted his sister to stay so he'd feel more comfortable too. With a nod and a grin, Helena agreed and beckoned Aiyana to follow her. "I'm going to stay up here for a while, you two go enjoy yourselves until dinner time." Waving as his sister disappeared inside the apartment again, Isaiah flopped backwards onto the lounge chair once alone and sighed deeply, arms folding behind his head. He liked the idea of having someone live with him and help him out and keep him on track but... The main problem in Isaiah's eyes was that Aiyana smelt like all the good things in life; a spring meadow, clean air from grassy fields, all the things that Isaiah loved. And she had a scent that he couldn't put his finger on. He'd smelt it around mother's - women who'd bore children or who had their own mate. It was confusing to the man.

Standing up slowly to walk over to the edge of the rooftop space to lean on the edging, arms folded gently on it as he overlooked the city slowly succumbing to the dim dusk light. Thanks to events he'd rather not remember, Isaiah wasn't trusting of most women. The sweeter they were, the more nervous it made him feel. She'd been sweet. So very sweet. Just like toffee; hard at first but melted once she'd warmed up. The wolf knew Aiyana wasn't like Her - the nervous shyness had been a surprising blessing - but it was that innocent beauty with the sweet nature that made him feel unsure and unstable. Untying his hair and running his fingers through it, he let out a long, deep sigh. He hadn't coped so well when he'd found out Her secret and ended everything, and only now he'd just begun to heal, so how would he cope when Aiyana was just as beautiful as her?

Leading Aiyana to her brother's office, she let herself in and showed Aiyana in too. "it does take a bit of practise to get used to using a computer, but we'll be here every step of the way until you feel confident, alright? For now, just watch over my shoulder." Moving to sit in the computer chair while she spoke, she smiled up at Aiyana. The office was very professional, since the siblings often conducted meetings in their homes with their staff members, or the two would sit and just plan for hours together in one or the other's apartment. Keeping everything organised reduced their stress - which unfortunately also had lead to reducing Isaiah's will to work, prompting Helena to cancel meetings from being scheduled in their homes for the time being. A few quick taps to enter the password and the computer was ready to go, the system booting up nice and quickly. A couple of quick clicks, a few more things typed and Helena was scanning some clothing stores in the area that had websites up and running. A few boho places, some fashionable and rather expensive stores and even some simple shops that had a lot of nice hand-knitted cardigans. "Come pick what you want sweetie, you can have anything you want to wear. It's perfectly alright, don't worry okay? This is a present from us, and if you need anything at all, you can ask. I promise you won't get in trouble." Waiting for Aiyana to hover behind her, Helena prodded a bit in the desk drawers. A crumpled up photo caught her attention, and pulling it out, she let out a whimper before growling softly as she put the image back. The whimper had been for the male in the picture - her brother. The growl had been for the woman by his side - his ex that caused all his problems to this very day.

The explanation of what a computer was only confused Aiyana more as she looked over at the male intently. It seemed something was troubling him and she wasn't sure what, or why she would even think that. He seemed perfectly at ease, but still...he was sad, she thought, and the flower spirit wished she knew how to fix it. It bothered her to see others unhappy or sad or hurting and it seemed like the male was all three at once, and more besides. She wasn't a cruel creature, quite the opposite, and they had done nothing to make her think they were terrible people. Rather, Helena had endeared herself to the quiet female quite easily, as Aiyana felt safe around the woman. Helena was gentle and submissive, yes, but she didn't seem the sort to let the flower spirit get hurt if she could help it. She was comforting, like a security blanket, and it had been so long since she had felt so safe that she was tempted to cling to the female werewolf like a child might. Isaiah, her brother...well, he was male. Normally that would have been the end of any sort of contemplation for the spirit. But the fact that Helena trusted him so completely and they seemed so close made her wonder if he could be different than the other males she had been owned by.

Watching the exchange between the siblings, Aiyana made her way to the door to go back inside, not about to stare and watch. She was nervous about being alone, as if something would jump out of the shadows and hurt her. It was silly and stupid and childish, she knew, but there had been many sorts of creatures that had owned her and had delighted in having such a delicate 'little thing' around for a pet. And none of them were very kind, all using her for their own sorts of pleasures. it had instilled a deep, deep fear of the dark in the flower spirit - of the dark, of shadows, of silence and small rooms and things that go bump in the night. It wasn't always like that. She would spend hours in the forests and fields watching the moon and night creatures go about their business. Now she burst into tears if left without a light.

Pushing those thoughts aside, she shook her head and followed Helena through the apartment again. When Aiyana saw the odd box, she tilted her head a bit curiously, almost like a confused puppy. The questions from before filled her head, but she listened instead to Helena patiently, though it didn't make any sense at all. Pick out what she would wear? How would it get from that screen thing to here, though? While the woman looked at something, the flower spirit moved behind her and saw one or two things already that were pretty. Money meant nothing to her, not because she was wasteful - it literally had no meaning for Aiyana, who had never quite caught on as to currency or the like. It had never been explained. She obediently pointed out what she liked for the woman, waiting a few minutes to ask.

"What's a library? And a shopping center?" Aiyana asked, a bit plaintively. It was tiresome, feeling so stupid, and yet having people assume she knew what they meant was also wearisome. And a...photo album, and a video. Your brother said that's what this was," she remarked, gesturing at the computer, "but I don't even know what those things are he said." She was never taken outside, things explained. Though she had lived a very, very long time, the flower spirit was sheltered. Not on purpose, but because of the greed of men. When she was brought out, it was to be shown off and then put back in a room. There was no need to take her out, to show her things, let her see how the world and humans and the like were all developing. No reason for them, anyway. And so the sights she had seen just today were a shock and one she had to think over to try to understand.

Helena thought she had been doing so well, explaining the basic idea of a computer and even doing all the work for her. But as the petite snowy-haired woman pointed out clothing on the screen, Helena could smell something wasn't sitting right with Aiyana. The woman was clearly still worried about something, so when she heard all the interesting questions coming from the woman's mouth Helena understood everything. Turning around slowly with a kind smile on her face, Helena clasped her hands in her lap. "Well then. I'll explain everything to you then!" She said softly but happily. Gesturing for Aiyana to pull up a chair, how better to explain everything than to use the computer itself! "Right, let's start with the first item; a library." And entering some key words into Google, Helena began to explain what a library was, which then slowly followed with a shopping centre, photo album and what a video was. The woman went slowly and carefully, doing her best to explain everything properly but simply. It was the most Helena had ever said to anyone other than Isaiah ever, but she knew it was for a good cause. If Aiyana understood everything by the end of their little session, then she'd feel much better about leaving the woman alone with Isaiah. Sure, even if she never used the computer by herself, if she could explain what a computer was used for, at least it was a start.

While Helena was being amazing beyond words, Isaiah was enjoying himself in the slowly vanishing sunlight. Enjoying being the most positive word at the moment. While he could appreciate the beauty of the fading warmth, he had a lot on his mind right at this moment. Leaning on the balustrade around his rooftop, his hair hung in curtains around his face, moving ever so slightly in the dusk breeze. She was firmly stuck in his mind, yet again, no matter how many times he tried to keep her out. There was always something that sparked a little memory of Her, usually something small and insignificant like a terrible joke overheard on the street that She would have found amusing, and it just sent him into a darker place. As if by nature, Isaiah rubbed his left shoulder, his fingers brushing against his shoulder blade, another reminder that She had left him with. Again, this was a less-than-savoury reminder of the woman that turned him into the playboy slacker he was now, but this one was permanent; memories would eventually fade into the background. As the sunset over the city finally shrouded all the buildings in soft darkness, Isaiah let himself back inside as city lights turned the surrounding area into a whole other view. Heading straight for his bedroom, a lingering gaze was sent down the hall to his office where he could smell his sister and Aiyana. Inhaling deeply, he allowed the floral scent to fill his senses as he shut his door quietly. If he became familiar with her smell, her presence wouldn't surprise him in the morning, or ever. The quicker he got used to it, the better in the long run. Stripping down, the male beelined for the shower; dinner could wait until the others were gone for the evening. He wasn't really that hungry right now anyway.

Hearing her brother shut himself in his room, Helena held back the urge to sigh. She'd told Aiyana everything she could about what a computer was, how it worked and how they ordered things online, and now they were just finishing off the clothing order for the pretty little thing. Helena had let Aiyana get as much or as little as she wanted - clothes, sleepwear, all the essentials - and the wolf was just making a move to leave when she had a thought. That picture hadn't left her mind and it was probably the right thing to get this awkwardness out in the open right now. "Aiyana... There's something I should tell you about Isaiah. He won't be happy with me for this, but I feel you need to know this... This, this is Lilith, or Lily. She... She is the reason for my brother's change in personality." Re-opening the drawer, Helena pulled out the crumpled photo again to show Aiyana. Isaiah had cut himself out of the picture, instead inserting the image into a collage of others on his office wall, but the main subject was still there. She was a beautiful pale creature, with the most gorgeous of blue eyes and the darkest of raven coloured hair. With her striking features and feminine body shape, it was easy to see why Isaiah fell head over heels for her. "This is the woman that's destroyed my brother. S-She left him with an empty shell of a heart and a bruised soul. I-I won't explain what happened because that's his own story, but all I ask is that you watch him. Watch him like a mother over her children. If he's being lazy, tell him off. Praise him for being on time and not being slack. I just... Like I said before, please, heal him. Get back my Isaiah, my caring, loving brother." Taking Aiyana's hands in her own during this speech, Helena quickly let go and offered up the choice of dinner. Ending their computer session, the two women went to the kitchen where Helena began to prepare dinner.

One fish and vegetable meal and one medium-rare steak meal later and Helena felt comfortable again. She warned Aiyana once again that the siblings were mainly red-meat eaters but they would accommodate whatever the sprite wished to eat and would shop accordingly. Sure the two liked regular fish meals - wolves were hunters and hunting fish was actually something they liked to do - but lamb and beef was definitely their main two choices, often still quite rare in the middle. Clearing up, the woman yawned softly. "Aiyana, let me show you to your room. It's not particularly late in the evening yet, but I don't know how tired you are, especially since the sun went down quite a while ago." Waiting for the little whitenette with the pink-streaked hair, Helena lead the girl upstairs once again and they entered Aiyana's bedroom. "You have your own bathroom, so you have complete privacy. There is a chain lock on the door if you wish for privacy, but I can assure you that if the door is shut, Isaiah will not barge in. Everything in this room is yours to change as you see; if you want plants we'll get some. If you want more lights we can get them too. I will be staying tonight in Isaiah's room, and I'll stick around in the morning too. You're welcome to stay in the room, wander to the roof top or simply wander the apartment if you're not tired. I'll see you in the morning sweetie, I hope today wasn't too much for you." And with a kind smile, Helena shut the bedroom door quietly to Aiyana's room to head to Isaiah's to get ready for bed. It had been a long day, and the wolf really hoped that Aiyana wasn't too frightened by the information she'd received.

              ||o.o.c;; Ta-da~! Helena will DEFINITELY be bailing before breakfast, so feel free to have Aiyana skip to the morning :3 ||

Helena was doing a marvelous job of explaining it all to Aiyana, especially considering the flower spirit had no idea what anything was. She was more intrigued by a library than anything else. So much knowledge all there for whoever wanted it! It was hard to believe and she listened intently as the werewolf showed her other things as well, though her thoughts still lingered on a library. Helena was so nice...maybe if she asked her, nicely, the other female wouldn't mind taking the flower spirit there. But then again, she was so nice, she'd already done so much, Aiyana told herself. Asking would be taking advantage, acting like she was entitled to go where she wanted. Biting her lip, the flower spirit paused when a thought occurred to her.

“Maybe Isaiah would bring me if I asked.”

She shook the thought away as soon as it popped in her head, not knowing why she would even think that was acceptable. For one thing, he clearly had no interest in owning her and she was already anxious about being by herself with him. Not because she thought he would hurt her or do something to her, but...he was a male. And it was very, very hard to get over that one, simple fact. The flower spirit turned her attention back to Helena and the computer. They were back to looking at clothing and the other female seemed to already have a good idea of what Aiyana liked, which surprised her. She was more than happy to point out what she wanted, if only because the other female seemed to enjoy it so much and smiled every time the flower spirit found something she liked. It was odd, to look at things and imagine if she would like them, but Helena had said she wouldn't get in trouble if there were things she didn't like after all once she put them on. How that was possible, Aiyana still wasn't sure, but knew the female wasn't lying to her.

As Helena finished up, the flower spirit got to her feet and moved away from the desk, not wanting to intrude further. When the werewolf instead began to talk, her tone drastically different from before, Aiyana paused and slowly walked back over, watching curiously as a picture was taken out of a drawer. It was obvious it had been cut or torn and she tipped her head a bit, inspecting the image. The woman was absolutely beautiful, much more so than a plain flower spirit – though not as much as Helena, Aiyana thought loyally. She listened to the woman's stammering and her eyes grew shiny with tears hearing what the woman had done to Isaiah. Having a gentle spirit and nature, a loving one, the flower spirit didn't have to be close to someone or even know them personally to take such a story to heart. The pain in Helena's voice was clear as she spoke and Aiyana nodded. She finally understood why she had been brought here, she knew. It was to heal her brother. No wonder a werewolf had wanted something as fragile and delicate as a wounded flower spirit. Who better to heal? “I promise I will take care of your brother,” she said softly, not sure the woman even heard as she let go of her hands and moved from the room. Wondering what had happened to cause a wound so deep, Aiyana obediently padded after her, pondering it.

Dinner was better than good and actually enticed Aiyana to eat, rather than pick at her food like she normally did. Panic set in a bit when she was left alone in the strange room, however. She'd wanted to ask Helena to stay with her for the night and whimpered a bit when she was alone instead. Biting her lip, she looked around and peeked in the bathroom. While she was tired, the flower spirit was too anxious to sleep as of yet and softly padded back out, careful not to make too much noise and disturb her – masters, she supposed? Were both of them? Letting out a quiet sigh, she made her way back up to the roof. It had been a long time since she was able to sit under the stars and plopped herself down on the tile near the pool, her head tipped back as she looked at the bright lights in the sky. Even the city lights couldn't dim heaven's glory completely, especially being so high up. Brushing some strands of hair from her eyes, pink and white like her flower, Aiyana sighed. “I miss you.” It was little more than a whisper that left her lips, quieter then the breeze ruffling her hair and dress.

The flower spirit remained up on the roof for some time before making her way back to her room, reluctantly shutting the door. The bathroom was a mystery to her, as she didn't know how to work the shower or bath or even the sink, and she was too afraid of breaking something to experiment with it. Thirsty and scared, Aiyan curled up in bed and pulled the blankets over her head. She wanted to go home. No matter how nice they were, or how nice this place was, it wasn't home. But home was long, long gone. Just a dream and a memory.

In the morning, she heard people moving around and woke up with a start. Forgetting where she was for a moment, the flower spirit looked around in a panic before a slow breath escaped her and she ran a hand over her face. She was with the werewolf siblings now. Home. A nice place, she reminded herself, where Helena took care of her and Isaiah...she didn't know about him. But she would, she told herself firmly. She would know more about him and heal him, like she'd promised. It was the least she could do for the female. And it gave Aiyana more of a purpose than she had had in centuries. Tumbling out of bed, she brushed her hair, familiar with a brush at least, and eyed the bathroom again nervously before deciding to just ask Helena how it worked. Poking her head out, unsure if she was wanted or not, the flower spirit padded out and looked around cautiously. “Good morning?” she called hesitantly.

“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.”
Aiyana

From the moment his sister entered the room, Isaiah could sense something off about her. She seemed to be worried about something, and sticking his head out the bathroom while he waited for the hot water to kick in, the man smiled. "C'mon Lena, tell me what's up." His tone held playful note of nagging as he stripped his casual outfit off, throwing it all out the slightly ajar door. Hearing her sigh, the man just smiled softly to himself as he stepped into the shower, listening to the soft sounds of her footsteps around his room; thank you accented hearing. "I'm just... I'm worried about Aiyana. Everything is new and strange to her. Well.. M-Maybe worried is the wrong word. Maybe I feel... Well, I-I don't know. No-one's taught her anything, ever." Pausing halfway through shampooing his hair, Isaiah stared at the door. "Lena, pet... What do you mean?" He urged her on, massaging his scalp softly, cursing mentally at the knots the shampoo caused. Another sigh caught his ears, and then she continued. "It must have been because of her life before all.. This. She was a flower spirit right? Why.. Why would she need to know about libraries, computers, clothing stores and e-everything we take for granted. It just... It made me sad to think that people took someone that innocent away from their life..." By the time Helena had finished her little thought trial, Isaiah had washed his hair and was washing the last of the body wash off himself. Stepping out the shower, he rubbed his hair semi-dry and dried himself off.

"Hmmm... Well aren't you a gentle soul, pet. I'll keep that all in mind, I'll be sure not to confuse the poor dear with too much information about our business okay?" Hearing a sound of approval from his bedroom, Isaiah continued on to brush his teeth while the sounds of pillows going 'whomp' onto the floor made him grin. This was always the way things went when Helena stayed over - she took the bed, he took the floor. It wasn't like it bugged him, since whenever she stayed over, they slept as wolves, and he always woke up with his sibling curled up against him. "We got some clothes ordered and fast-tracked here. You should get a call from the front desk in the morning sometime. Just warn Aiyana so she's not surprised by it okay? I won't be here in the morning, I have a dental check-up." A muffled 'mm-hmm' came from Isaiah as he still had a toothbrush in his mouth, and just as he finished his night time routine, his sister poked her head into his bathroom, dressed in a silver silk night robe. "All yours pet." He cooed, shaking his hair to dry it off a little more, causing Helena to squeal softly in distaste. Chuckling to himself, Isaiah removed himself from his own bathroom to go settle himself on the pillows on the floor. Changing form wasn't too bad of an ordeal, but it still didn't mean the siblings liked to do it. Bones and joints cracked and moved, skin stretched and fur pushed its way through flesh, and the worst of all in Isaiah's mind was his face changing; growing a snout was never fun. Ever. But in seconds it was over, and a black wolf was happily rolling around on his pillow bed.

A snort of amusement came from the silver wolf that had just leapt onto the circular bed, watching the black wolf, head hanging over the edge. The dorkiest grin the wolf could manage in his form made the silver one cover her face with a paw; Helena could never understand how Isaiah changed in more ways than one in his wolf form. Nudging his nose to his sister's snout, paws met his face in an effort to get him away but Isaiah always won, and leaving a long lick up the side of her face, the growl of disapproval meant he'd done his job. Flopping down on his new bed, the black wolf curled up and let his mind wander as he tried to go to sleep. He could hear Aiyana wandering around, maybe coming back from being up on the roof, and he felt his heart grow heavy. He was scared about living with the little spirit. Handling women was something Isaiah didn't want to do anymore, he didn't want to spend any longer than one night with a woman, and that was it. Thanks to a certain woman, he just didn't trust them anymore. Sure he knew Aiyana was different - she was so innocent she'd never hurt him - but it still didn't mean he was okay with this. Although, just as he began to fall asleep, a thought found him that made him feel just a little bit better. At least if she was here, she couldn't get hurt. She was safe here. It was enough to make Isaiah's worry lessen just a bit, knowing that the spirit couldn't get hurt by men that enjoyed slaves in a whole other way. Maybe he could do this after all? And as he drifted into sleep, the wolf let himself think of the future, which lead to a few cute little dreams involving Aiyana. It wasn't his fault; the closer Spring got, the more his mind and body liked to remind him of it.

              ▬ ▬ ▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ ▬ ▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ ▬ ▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ ▬ ▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ ▬ ▬ ▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ ▬ ▬ ▬

As morning came, Isaiah sniffed the air in his room before opening his eyes. Hearing no secondary sound of breathing or movement, the male deduced that he was indeed alone, and promptly shifted into his human form. Helena had left early like she said she had to, and not really remembering much about his dreams, the male stretched and went straight for his wardrobe. His nose reminded him that there was still someone else in his apartment, for the scent of a spring meadow couldn't be hidden when it was so foreign to him. Pulling on a basic shirt and jeans, his lazy outfit for the day was done. Spraying himself very mildly with one of his many bottles of men's perfume (was perfume too girly? he didn't care), he picked up his watch and made his way to the kitchen, clipping one of his favourite accessories around his wrist by the time he reached the last stair. Sniffing the air, he picked up the scent of last night's meal - red meat barely cooked, and something fish-based with green vegetables. Clearly Aiyana didn't eat red meat, and the male made a mental note of that. Which lead to the next question: breakfast. Well he wanted fruit, yoghurt and granola, so would Aiyana eat that too? Hoping that she would, he began to search for three large-ish bowls; one for fruit, one for plain greek yoghurt, and one for granola. Just about to pour yoghurt into one of the bowls, he heard a voice. Putting down the yoghurt, the male had to take in a slow, deep breath. Had Aiyana's voice been that lovely last night? Poor thing sounded so hesitant and nervous. Well, he'd take care of her today, he'd make the day about her and making sure she knew this was a safe place, even if she saw him as everything that evil represented in this world. Heading to the staircase, Isaiah called back in reply. "Good morning Aiyana dear. How about you go up to the rooftop? I'll bring some breakfast up there so we can sit in the morning sun." Hopefully she'd like that idea. It was thoughtful of him, right? Making sure she was comfortable even if he was unbelievably nervous himself.

Placing the three bowls onto a serving basket along with a pot of hot water, some packets of different kinds of tea - English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Peppermint and a Chamomile tea Helena had left behind - and all the other necessary items for tea with two bowls for themselves for the actual food, Isaiah made his way up to the roof. He wasn't disappointed when he opened the door and found the little white-haired woman waiting, the scent of hesitation and nervousness still around her. "Yoghurt, fruit and granola for breakfast, I hope you like it. It's not a pain if you don't, you just let me know. I... Didn't know if you like tea, but I did bring some choices. Just take some yoghurt into your bowl, spoon some granola over it and some fruit and mix it all in! Or, you know.. Just have fruit and yoghurt, or just fruit, or just yoghurt and granola.. It's up to you!" Rambling on, Isaiah wasn't totally aware that he sounded probably too eager about the food. His nerves were getting the better of him, and it made him just ramble on and on. Rubbing his neck, he chuckled slightly, the basket resting on a large footstall near the lounge chairs by the pool. "Sorry if I went too fast, I haven't served anyone breakfast before, usually Helena gets her own. She had an appointment to go to this morning, so she's very sorry she couldn't join us. She'll come by later today to see how things are going. Please, join me." Gesturing to the seats nearby, he settled down himself, helping himself to the yoghurt, mixed fruit (berries and mango chunks) and granola, he stirred them altogether. "Aiyana, is there anything you want to do today?" He asked suddenly, after a few mouthfuls of breakfast. "It's quite okay, I've got nothing planned for today, so if there's anything you've ever wanted to do, or if there's somewhere you want to visit, just let me know okay? It really is okay to say you want to go somewhere." Smiling in a most honest way, Isaiah returned to his food. If the adorable woman wanted to go somewhere, he hoped she'd speak up, and he wouldn't mind if she stayed silent. He could tell she wasn't happy about being alone with him, and he didn't blame her. Not in the slightest.

When she'd gotten up, Aiyana had found a dress and jewelery waiting for her, laid out. She assumed Helena must have put it there for her, as nothing had come yet, and she changed, braiding a bit of her hair and using the odd little things to pin some hair from her face. The sandals were left – the flower spirit had never gotten the hang of wearing things on her feet, it made her uncomfortable, and she was never out on pavement or anywhere that she would need it. She'd been kept inside most of her enslaved life and when she was free, she certainly hadn't worn sandals or anything like it. So she was more than used to padding around on her bare feet, the wooden floor cool and smooth under them as she walked towards the kitchen hesitantly.

When she heard his voice, she jumped a bit and wished in vain that Helena was there. Knowing the female wasn't, the flower spirit nodded to herself and took him up on his suggestion of going to the roof. It was early morning and she let out a relieved sigh as she stood in the sunlight, practically glowing as she basked in it. Aiyana was more than easy to please – sunlight and water and a little love, just like any of the plants she cared for. She turned her head slightly to look at Isaiah when he arrived, trying to control the fear she felt and the urge to run from him so he couldn't see her. Her hands were clenched tightly in her lap and she nodded slightly to show she was listening to him. Speech was a bit beyond her for the moment.

Aiyana had never had what he was talking about and looked at him in confusion. She wanted to ask what yoghurt was, but she knew fruits and granola and decided that if it went together, it couldn't be that bad. As he sat down, she sidled over and carefully sat on the edge of the other lounge chair, watching what he did. The flower spirit copied his motions, taking some of the yoghurt and eying it curiously before obediently mixing in the berries and granola. She couldn't help but pick some of the berries up with her fingers, as delicate as you please, and eat them separately. Her eyes closed for a moment as she savored the taste. It had been so long since she'd had fresh fruit or vegetables or greens or anything that she was more than happy with just this little taste. Turning her attention back to the mix, she carefully tried a spoonful and chewed it thoughtfully. It wasn't bad...different. But she liked it.

The flower spirit wasn't sure – well, she was. She didn't want to go anywhere alone with him. But he was her master and she really had no choice, Helena wasn't always going to be around. And he wasn't being cruel, yet, although some had liked to toy with her, get her hopes up, before hurting her. So she was still wary, thinking over his words and his offer of going somewhere. The thoughts of the library returned to her and she looked up from the odd breakfast, both surprised and thoughtful.

“Is...there a library around here?” she asked, her voice barely audible and trembling a bit. She had never asked a master for anything before and was terrified this was merely a trap to punish her. “H-Helena told me about it and I don't...there's so much I don't know, I thought I...might be able to learn. If that's all right...” The flower spirit trailed off, plucking a the spoon's handle nervously. She didn't even know how to address him, she realized. Master? Isaiah? Nothing at all? Looking at him for a moment, she quickly dropped her gaze back to her lap.

Oh how the fear in her beautiful scent turned his heart upside-down. Isaiah hated it. It spoke of the harsh life Aiyana had been put through with the other men that she'd lived with. You couldn't expect to rid someone of that fear in just a few days, you couldn't expect someone to just drop all their worries and fears just because it didn't suit you. No, Isaiah knew he'd have to work through this with her, even if she could barely stand to be around him without shaking like a delicate flower in a breeze. Yet the moment she made her way over to sit nervously on an edge of a lounge chair next to him, he felt just a tad better. This happiness grew when she copied his actions even though she clearly seemed unsure of the breakfast choices, but her delicate nibbling of individual berries made him smile just a little bit as he ate, his clear blue eyes shining happily. His hair had been tied back into a messy kind of ponytail, strands of his medium-length hair flopping around his face as he ate. Like a bit of a dork though, when Aiyana spoke up in that soft little voice of hers, Isaiah kept his spoon sticking out of his mouth, fingers just centimetres off the handle of the item of cutlery. So she did have somewhere she wanted to go, and it was a nice quiet spot too! The Library would be a perfect trip! Quiet, usually well populated and a open public spot so she'd hopefully feel safe around him in a public place. Hopefully.

"Yes, there's a library close by. Just across the park actually. We could even walk there! It's a nice day today, not too cold. Thank god for the last couple of months of winter hey?" Of course, Isaiah admitted this with some trepidation: he didn't want winter to be over just yet, because it meant spring would be here too soon for his liking. Spring meant mating, urges... Trying to find the woman he'd mark and spend the rest of his life with. He'd nearly marked Her, but thankfully it hadn't been spring, or everything could have been much, much worse. "It's perfectly alright dear! Everyone has a right to learn." Kind, bright eyes turned completely onto Aiyana with an encouraging smile, and only then did he notice the outfit she was wearing. It was a dress Helena had been given from some fashion designer who couldn't understand that 'no' meant 'no' and 'stop giving me gifts' meant she didn't want anything to do with him. The dress had been pretty enough but Helena always felt it deserved to be with someone who would appreciate it's free-flowing style. Turns out the little flower spirit was just the kind of person to pull off the floaty dress. Even the little floral clips suited her to a tee.

Sitting up straight, a sound caught Isaiah's ears - his telecom unit. That was probably the desk trying to let him know a delivery had arrived. "Excuse me Aiyana, but I think something just arrived for you." And putting down the bowl with an excited grin, the man left calmly, and it was only once he was inside that he increased his speed, almost jumping down all the stairs to reach the unit by the elevator in time. "You've reached Isaiah." He said simply, sounding utterly calm and not like someone who'd just sprinted the full length of their upper story. Giving a few instructions, the man waited by his elevator. Tapping his foot as a couple of minutes past, the soft 'ding' to announce the elevator arriving at his floor made the man smile in joy. Doors opening, he found a nie number of tissue paper parcels in shining black bags. Lifting the four bags from the elevator, the man headed back to the roof eagerly. Helena must have gone all out for Aiyana because he was sure there was more than just a few dresses in those parcels. Bursting back out onto the roof, the man would have run over to Aiyana if she was anyone else. Yet, composing himself, Isaiah simply strolled over and bending down near her, placed the bags in front of the skittish woman. "These are all yours. How about we finish off breakfast, clean up the dishes and you can go get changed if you like. Try out your new clothes." Grinning and returning to his seat, Isaiah went back to his food, after pouring himself a cuppa tea of course.

A few blissful moments of silence while breakfast was finished and tea was savoured and Isaiah collected the used bowls with a grin. Gesturing for Aiyana to come back inside with a nod of his head, he let her into the building first but allowed her to hang back if she so desired, not wanting to force her to walk in his sight. The man was practically skipping as he headed for the kitchen, and with a hopeful voice, he called Aiyana into the kitchen. "The taps in the apartment are a little weird. The metal cylinder next to the taps-" and Isaiah pointed out the metal pole next to the taps in the kitchen "Is a safety device. Press the top button to turn the hot water on, and press the bottom one to turn it off. It does turn itself off after five minutes if the hot tap isn't being used, how smart hey? The tap handles are simple too - when they're horizontal they're off, and when they're vertical they're fully on! Anywhere in between changes how fast the water flows, see?" And showing Aiyana just what he was on about, he repeated the display a few times until the smallest flicker of recognition showed in her eyes. "Your bathroom is exactly the same. Feel free to go shower or anything before we head out. We'll leave only when you want alright? Go have some fun picking outfits." Accidentally slipping in a cheerful wink, Isaiah realised what he had done and quickly busied himself with cleaning up, the smallest hint of an embarrassed blush on his cheeks. He hadn't meant to wink at her, it was just a natural thing for him to act so confident around beautiful women! Groaning inwardly at the action, he felt like a right idiot. How would he ever get her to trust her even the smallest amount if he slipped into his playboy habits? She wasn't like other girls, she was special. She was that one in a million you only ever meet once in your life... If you weren't immortal that was.

              ||ooc;; Isaiah, you dork! Tried to keep it short but noooo, brain got carried away again! XD ||

When he said there was one close by and he didn't mind going, a faint smile appeared on her face as her expression lightened just a touch. His use of the word 'dear', rather than frighten her, was actually comforting, as it was what Helena had called her after all. The reminder of the female wolf and her plea to help her brother made the flower spirit set her nerves against running, though the instinct to go hide somewhere was quite strong. Only her loyalty to the female werewolf, as well as her longing to sit out in the sun, kept Aiyana from doing exactly that. She continued to pick at her food, eating a little at a time not because she was nervous to eat, but because she was unused to it. The flower spirit was like a plan in many ways, able to get energy and nourishment from sun and water, not necessarily needing food. But it had been so long since she'd an abundant supply of both that the actual food was necessary, rather than just good.

“I am glad that spring is coming,” Aiyana said shyly. Of course she was, she was a flower spirit. She had no idea what it meant for the two werewolves, or what it might mean for her, living with one of them. All she knew was she wanted the warm sun and breeze and green grass and trees and the smell of blossoms in the air. Maybe by then she'd have more plants up on the roof, she thought, recalling their promise that she could have whatever plants she wanted. If Isaiah wasn't careful, his flower spirit was going to turn his entire apartment into a proverbial greenhouse. No room would be safe once she was comfortable enough to bring the plants inside – no room. Not with all the space he had, thanks to the modern style of the place.

When he suddenly left her alone, she blinked after him before continuing to eat. There was really little else for her to do, or that she desired to do. The flower spirit was content with simply sitting out and warming in the sun's brightening rays, a gentle breeze rustling her hair while she waited. By the time he'd come back, she was all finished and looked at him in surprise when he set bags down at her feet. It took her a long moment to realize they were the things she and Helena had ordered yesterday, although how they had gotten from the computer to here, she didn't understand. Isaiah seemed happy for some reason she didn't quite understand, but Aiyana supposed that was good, right? Being happy was healing. Happy was good. The fact that he was happy without hurting her was even better, she thought, picking up her bags and following back inside slowly, a bit reluctantly.

It took a bit for her to understand the faucets, but she finally did, faintly. The flower spirit flinched a bit when he winked at her and quickly backpedaled from the room, relieved he didn't seem to want to talk anymore. Letting out a soft sigh once she was in her room, she set the bags carefully down and went into the bathroom. Turning the knobs and messing with it for a bit, she finally got the shower to work properly and didn't bother with the hot water. She didn't much like it and the water was cold enough to send most people running when she took off her dress, folded it on the bed and padded into the shower. It was...odd, as she'd only had baths before, and Aiyana looked at the bottles there with a blank look. She couldn't read them and couldn't figure out what was what. It was only by sheer luck she used the shampoo right and the body wash for the correct thing, rather than reversing them. They smelled nice, flowery a bit, but not enough to overwhelm her own natural scent.

Once she was done, the flower spirit wrapped herself up in a fluffy towel and loosely braided her hair over her shoulder once she'd patted it and combed the knots out of it. She did feel much better and went over to the bags, picking through them. It seemed silly to wear something different already, but Isaiah had seemed to like the suggestion and she was here to make him happy, so she found a dress she liked and put it on. There was a shawl she draped over her arm in case she got chilly. The sandals presented a bit of an issue, as she knew she shouldn't go out in public without them, but didn't like them. Helena had been aware enough of the problem to get her the easiest, most comfortable sandals she could find on short notice, something even the flower spirit could figure out how to get on, no buckles required. Her ears had been pierced by a master years and years ago and the same earrings went back in, as did the clips. The dress made her hair and eyes pop, though she didn't know it, and a few loose curls escaped the braid as she hung the towel back up and padded into the main room to look for her master.

“I'm done,” she called softly, not sure where he was and not wanting to be snuck up on. It made her nervous, not knowing where he was, and a small amount of fear began to creep up into her scent again as she looked around, her other hand playing with the end of the shawl nervously. “I'm sorry if I took too long,” Aiyana added, not sure if maybe she had and he was angry about it.

Isaiah felt like a right idiot. Cheeks burning with embarrassment and foolishness, the werewolf just couldn't fathom how he let the playful wink slip out. It just wasn't right, it just wasn't justifiable. She was - in all sense of the word - a proper lady. She was the kind of woman you treated like a Princess because she was one in your eyes. She was the type of woman that you took out to dinner and a movie not because you wanted to "get some", but simply just because you'd get to see her smile. Pausing with his hands up to his wrists in bubbly, warm water, Isaiah shut his eyes and sighed. That's how he'd treated Lilith. Like a proper lady instead of those loose women he'd begun to pick up lately. He'd given her jewellery because he'd wanted to, not because she demanded it. He'd given her so much of himself, he still wondered how he managed to keep his sanity these days. Yet, looking up at the ceiling, roughly estimating where Aiyana's room was, a grin tugged at his lips. Maybe being around the little flower spirit would be good for him. Maybe she could make him forget all about Lilith by simply being here? Maybe just by being around the darling creature and teaching her that the world isn't such a scary place, but can be quite fascinating, maybe it would make him forget that women like Lilith ever existed?

Finishing the dishes, Isaiah pottered around for a while, checking out his own apartment. It was actually quite open, with a large lounge room that had folding glass doors to open up to a small balcony. He'd promised Aiyana she could plant as many plants as she wanted on the roof, so maybe he could extend this to the lounge room balcony as well? Get some nice looking flowering plants to liven up the space and give it some warmth. Heck, he wouldn't be ashamed to admit he loved the smell of green, leafy plants in spring and summer, just because it reminded him of fond memories of Ireland. Her bedroom was pretty large and open too, with the same small style of balcony. He wouldn't be opposed to her getting some plants in there as well. The rest of the house was probably going to be a problem, but those rooms he didn't mind her taking advantage of. Picking up his wallet and apartment keys, the man listened to the sound up above. Her shower had been shorter than he'd expected, and all too soon he heard her door open up and he began to make his way into the living room to meet her. What he didn't expect to see though, was Aiyana in blue, and immediately he froze on the spot while she played with her shawl and apologised for taking too long (which she didn't).

The soft blue of the floaty dress wasn't just what caught the man's attention - even if blue was his absolute favourite colour - but it was the way the gentle colour brought out the rest of Aiyana's colouring. Those soft pink eyes and the bright splices of pink amongst snow white locks... It was incredible. Catching himself before his staring got too weird, the man just smiled. "Aiyana dear, it's okay! You barely took any time at all. We've got all day today so we can just take it easy. I've got all my things, so we'll get going!" Slapping his pockets gently to make sure he did have everything - wallet, phone and keys all present and accounted for - he lead Aiyana out the apartment and into the elevator. Swiping the keycard and pressing the button for the ground floor, they travelled in silence until they reached the foyer of the apartment building. "If at any time you want to come home because you feel uncomfortable, just let me know okay? We'll cross the road and walk through the gardens, the library is just over the other side of them." Stopping just before the doors, Isaiah allowed all this to sink in before he opened the doors for Aiyana, letting her go first. Joining her outside the building, he put his hands into his jeans pockets. "If it will make you feel safer, you can walk as close as you feel comfortable with alright? I don't want you to be nervous, the street is usually quieter in the morning and the park is generally empty at this time too. You can hold onto the crook of my elbow if you want while crossing the road. Just tug on my shirt." With a warm smile, Isaiah waited for Aiyana to answer any of what he said before leading her onto the sidewalk and heading for the crossing. If she wanted to wander in the gardens he wouldn't mind, his nose would find her smell easily amongst the plants and flowers.

Aiyana was too worried he was going to be mad at her for taking up his time to notice him staring, only looking up at him as he glanced away and missing any expression on his face whatsoever at her choice of colors. She was relieved to hear it was all right, since she didn't see why he would bother to lie to her and had no reason to think he was telling her anything but the truth. At least he didn't mind she'd showered and the flower spirit hesitantly followed after him. She wasn't looking forward to riding in the elevator again and cringed a bit as the doors closed, but thankfully it was a short ride down and she scooted out of the small space quickly. Listening to him, she nodded and looked up at him to show she was paying attention, but was a bit overwhelmed again and couldn't really seem to find the words for anything. Padding outside ahead of Isaiah, she took a breath of fresh air. It was odd, not completely clean being in the city, but so close to the park she could easily pick up all the flowers and plants. “All right. I will,” she promised softly, though she couldn't see a reason why she'd want to get that close to him at all.

The flower spirit obediently followed him down the sidewalk, looking around curiously. Her eyes brightened when she saw the park across the street and she bounced a bit on her heels, slightly impatiently, when they had to wait for the light to change to cross. The impatience was clear in her body language, her eyes, the look of frustration on her face. It had been over two hundred years since she had been able to go outside, let alone like this. Having to wait now, having it so close to her, was enough to drive away any fear she had of Isaiah or anything else. Not when she was so close to everything that was right and good and her. When they reached the park, that was about all she could take. “I'll be good!” Aiyana told him, her shyness melting away as she sprinted away from the werewolf and into the park. She was soon out of sight past the trees and couldn't be happier, her shoes left with Isaiah. She wanted to feel the grass under her feet.

Unfortunately for the werewolf who thought he could find her by scent easily, the flower spirit was, well, a nature spirit. Any scent that was foreign simply faded from her as she was enveloped by the things so close to her heart – the trees, the grass, the flowers, even the dirt they were rooted in until her scent was indistinguishable from the rest of the park. It had been an ability to keep predators from finding them, so so long ago when she was free, and she didn't do it on purpose to hide from Isaiah. In fact, Aiyana didn't even know she was doing it at all, thinking her abilities completely lost after so long.

It was more than unbelievable to get to be free like this again and all the fear and sorrow and hurt and pain that had weighed her gentle spirit down for so long seemed to completely melt away, at least while she was with the plants like this. Flowers that normally stayed close until later bloomed, the ones that were withering perked back up to life as she climbed trees and hugged the branches she was laying on and padded around the grass and flowers with a smile on her face. It was like she was a completely different sort of person, if she had even been aware of such a drastic change in her demeanor. Aiyana hadn't always been so meek and frightened, after all. She was carefree and happy, loving and kind and a healer at heart. Her spirit had simply been crushed after so long and the shock of having this back again had revived it.

Laughing softly to herself, Aiyana plopped down in a bed of flowers. She talked softly to them, nonsense words almost like one would with a baby, and was hidden amongst the blossoms quite thoroughly.
