That maybe we aren't as close to being extinct as we think. Yes the storytelling is not the greatest and it is a bunch of one sentence posts but these two newbies have put on one hell of a match in my opinion considering how new both of them are. Knight vs. Marty McCoyNow all we need is for them to stick around....

Yes..
Now let's introduce them to the wrestling community. See if they thrive into dickhole monsters or quit altogether.

There needs to be storytelling, there needs to be more than one sentence posting
and low card match should not be anywhere remotely close in length to the main event. Sorry, plus apparently I have one of them blocked So I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's someone's mule

Too bad Knight agreed to do a feud with me and agreed he would do the first promo then never did it along with not answering messages about it.

Actually, I'm on Angel's side on this one.
Back when we all started, we were not as aware of the mental environment and storytelling, not even its impact on the match. We all had those "one sentence" posts and, let's be honest, you don't need more than that in certain situations. In this one, I see an opening match with no background story, so to me, less storytelling is acceptable. Doesn't make it extremely interesting to read, but still acceptable. Of course, it would be better with some enhanced psychology added, but the potential is there.
We can't expect a high school student to write and Ph.D thesis, just like we can't expect someone debuting to get all the little aspects that makes this game fun for you and the others. In French, we have this expression saying "laissez la chance au coureur", let the runner have a chance. If one of us was willing to have a match with them, maybe they would implement those elements in their game and find their own style through it.

I agree, I feel my current tag match with Deinko(Ronin) and Calypso(Jacob Griffin) is one of my better tag matches in a while. I'm looking forward to rping with Ronin in the future. Or even reading more of his matches to see his improvement.

So I wouldn't be so harsh on the new people. if they went this long of a match without godmoding, even if they used a bunch of one liners, it shows potential. give them the right opponent and perhaps they will evolve to be able to tell a story in their matches. you cannot expect newcomers to automatically get the idea of storytelling in their matches just because you have grown used to the older or veteran characters in the community. as Marxx said, maybe if one of the vets is willing to work with them, they'll learn those elements you say the community is currently lacking

Why don't YOU work with them... Maybe we'll get a few more Litas, and HBKs and Undertakers around.... Not that we need them, because everyone and their mother does the Super kick
