Several Hunters would find, as they went to you know, go about their daily life outside their limited dorm room space (for most), an odd paper slipped under their door. Most papers slipped under doors usually contained useful information such as being promoted on a mission, or getting a mission report back with words such as 'If this is not completed in X hours, I will assert Y death, signed P', where X = the number of hours, Y = the type of death and P = the Princess in concern writing said note. Other notes included invitations to parties that sometimes never happened or became the Saddest Parties Ever, Sexy Beach Meets (that were all guys), Bowling Events (with no bowling court), and a variety of entirely useless extracurricular activities. This one however, at least had the decency to be written in very fine, clear paper and type.
Now, most Hunters these days did not dare venture in the wing where the Council death had happened, considering pre- Shadowling destruction the entire place was closed and barred off. However, with any decent amount of curiousity invoked in any individual, a quick trip to the Council wing would reveal that the door was cracked just slightly open. The lights were also on inside, thought it was (mostly) empty, except for a few props.
It was also surprisingly much cleaner than it had been the last time. OOC OPEN INVESTIGATION PERIOD!- All Hunters, THAT MEANS ALL, are welcome to participate! - There are a few items in the room you can investigate. You can also mingle and talk with others. Be careful while tampering with the lingering evidence remains! - To look around or investigate an area post your investigation in bold red. It must be a valid area in the image, so for example "___ Looked at the window". Phrasing is important to as to exactly how that person looked at it and where and may yield different results! Please only choose one action at a time until replied to. Good luck solving the first mystery on to your way to finally find answers on the death of the Council

When Madison saw the paper slipped under her door, she... well, she panicked. Just a little bit. She tugged the paper free with shaking hands; the Death Hunter knew she was close to her promotion.
The paper said nothing of the kind. She blinked at it, then sat down on the edge of her bed. To be honest, she'd really forgotten about the Council; they'd always been distant and disconnected as far as she was concerned. They made proclamations and were unseen. And then they'd all died.
Still, as a Death Hunter she had a duty to investigate mystery, especially juicy ones. She headed over to the Council wing, and... hmm.
Okay.
Madison crept inside and focused on the table in the middle of the room, particularly the sides. She didn't quite dare to touch, but she bent down close to examine...

Sosiqui Madison crept inside and focused on the table in the middle of the room, particularly the sides. She didn't quite dare to touch, but she bent down close to examine... The side of the table reveals particularly thick smears of old dried blood. Is that a handprint pressed along the side...?

Ever since it happened, it left a bad taste in Leon's mouth. Something about the way this council died just didn't make sense. The paper he found after waking up in the middle of the night only confirmed his suspicions. "looks like there is trouble afoot." It wasn't a trilling situation, but whatever happened, were the higher up's fine with leaving it in the dark? On a personal level, he wasn't ok with that. And the brisk trip to that wing confirmed as such, with Madison on the scene. "what are you looking at?" he asked, giving her the chance to realize that there was someone else here and thankfully, that it was friendly. "I don't think I can perform in this room, with the way it is." he informed her with a s**t eating smile as he began to look for a way to unlatch the grate from the wall.

Bloodlust Dante as he began to look for a way to unlatch the grate from the wall. The grate was bolted shut, no amount of prying would open it. There seems to be something inside though?

"Fancy meeting you here," Madison said, offering Leon a smile as he came in the room. The table looked kind of disgusting, honestly, with those thick smears of blood and the handprint there... but they were clues. "... wait, perform?" Did he ever think of anything ELSE? "Down, boy," she ordered, amused, then leaned in closer to the handprints. Maybe she could catch if there were fingerprints there?

Marcus was sure that this was more death's specialties. Best he could do was fix things. Pretty sure fixing a broken thing wasn't the same as figuring out who broke what, (unless it was the sun division, he was getting familiar who broke what when it came from a sun).
Still, he had to admit he was curious. Why they had been killed was something of a mystery, aside from giving power to the leads. But even then the result was more work for them and less organization between the hunters. Overall, it was counter productive.
So curiosity got the better of him, having the moon hunter arriving to the scene, peeking in at shruging at the presence of Madison and Leon. Looks like he wasn't the only one to get the note.
Going to the windo, he wondered if it had come from the outside or inside. And if it might have been used as an entrance or exit.
"You guys get a note too?" He asked absentmindedly.

Katherine vaguely recalled the news of when the council had mysteriously up and died. Things around that time were a little.. hazy, and she'd thought to put it all behind her, until she had received a note under her door.
As much as she'd like to claim it was her sense of duty to investigate, it was more curiosity mixed with boredom, that dragged Kat from her dorm to explore things.
Entering the room she noticed something on the floor. Without though, she started with that.
Kat is inspecting the ??? on the floor.

Ryan held no particular attachment towards the council. To him they were merely the people behind the scenes. But when he heard that they had all been murdered, he had to wonder just who exactly was capable of committing mass murder and all without getting caught or giving away their identity. It was kind of mind blowing to be truthful and just a little more than unnerving.
So when Kat let her curiosity get the better of her and headed off to investigate, Ryan joined her. Though when she went to go investigate something across the room, Ryan wandered over to the cloth. He didn't dare pick it up, however. But he did nudge it over to see if it had any hidden clues.

AND SO ENTERS THE COCKBLOCK MARCUS. While it was always a kick to play flirt with Madison, it never felt as fun when there were others around. "Fine fine, back to the search." he mumbled, pouting at the chance lost. The table looked sturdy enough too. Marcus on the other hand, was chatty as he looked around. "Yeah, and that's the next bit, who was the one with the balls to hand deliver that message to us?" he asked the other male present. There was still the matter of the piece of paper that looked stuck behind the grating. "Where is MacGuyver when you need him?"Before Madison could even say "not now leon", the brawler had his belt pulled off his pants and on the floor trying to use the belt's tine to get the note out from behind the grate panel.

Lex, ever that one guy who just showed up because why not be where the other people would be, had taken the note with a yawn and a mumble about not being able to shave before going out. He was still in his pajama bottoms, even, when he walked in to the council room to find Marcus (who he needed to punch), Leon stripping (probably needed to punch him too), Kat, Ryan (who might just punch the taller man), and a Death huntress he'd seen around from time to time.
"Oh my God, Leon, even I keep a better reign on my pants." He muttered, nudging his senior with a moccasined foot.

Theodore wasn't sure how he felt about finding that little scrap of paper under his door. He'd nearly missed it after coming back into his room after training. It was only after the Moon trainee had stepped on the ******** thing that he'd even realized it was there. For a moment he thought that it might've been a prank that his twin sister was playing on him.
In fact, he believed it was a prank up until the moment he stepped into the room.
Loudly clearing his throat, Tuck edged around the table. A polite nod was given to anyone who might happen to make eye contact with him. He leaned down to peer at the table.
What was that, oak?
"The hell happened in here?"

Lex had a smart mouth. Leon was going to admit that the junior was witty. but he needed a punch in the mouth to dumb him down. "Shut up, I'm MacGuyvering right now." he retorted back, trying to wiggle the spoke at the end into the paper. "Just a little further." He could still feel the presence of Lex looming down on him, and that was kinda weird considering he was laid out flat on the floor to begin with. "Go do something Lex, help us find something vital, get a scooby snack and get searching."

"It is suspicious.." Saya said aloud, as she talked to Prompto about the mysterious note under the door. It was something to be investigated but Saya didn't feel like the trouble was worth it. However, Prompto felt it strongly, for her sake more than anything else.
Not that he said that.
So as a result, Saya was searching too.
She crawled under the table to inspect the legs, peeking up at the underside along the way.
it was a good thing Saya was wearing tights and sneakers in today's outfit, although her hand still moved to unfold her skirt around her.
She caught sight of several other hunters as she peeked out from under the table.
"Hiiii Kat! Hii Ryan!"lividpeas Saya is happy to see kat always *u* oniongrump ONLY SAYING HI DONT NEED TO BOTHER WITH HER TOO MUCH <3

MARCUS DIDN'T BLOCK YOUR c**k LEON GEEZ. "My guess is someone who hopes to run up the ranks. That, or to perhaps, draw the culprit out." He shrugged. "And MacGuyver is something we don't need. I mean, Mark, some of those life techs with runics.." He held up a hand. "No offense." Lex got an eye roll, and the new moon got a small shake of his head. "Just the murder of the supposedly powerful hunter council, maybe by another hunter, and Leon taking his pants off but I chalk that off to be fairly normal." A small wave he introduced himself. "Marcus Hasan."
