Neutral Quote: Arick’s shop is movable, and he sets up shop within one of the cities in Magesc. That is where you have found him today. His shop is just inside one of the main cities on either Serenia or Soudul (you choose). You have found your way to Peddler’s Rock. A traveling shop for everything, including some things not quite legal. A tall and burly Dovaa greets you as you come in and asks if you have a moment to spare. "Hey there little one, may I have a word with you? I'm in a bit of a bind. You see, got a spot of trouble that needs dealing with but I can’t leave my shop unattended. Could you lend me a hand, perhaps?" If you agree, continue to read, otherwise RP your response and leave the adventure. He smiles with relief upon your agreement, "Thanks a bunch, partner. I have a few tasks, mostly need some help restocking, but there is one that I’d like you to do first. Not really all that earth-shattering, just…finding something for me." he says, rubbing the back of his head a bit embarrassed. Go to Task 1. It was suppose to be a day of chores. Tamri was out and about with the idea of shopping and picking up some of the things he needed around the house. That was the plan at least. Today it seem however that thing would not go according to plan for the young orderite. He got a little distracted when he stumbled across Peddler's Rock.
The travelling shop had caught his eye and being something new, it sparked his curiosity and he decided that a small detour before he started his running around for the day wouldn't hurt. A quick glance inside, a bit of excitement grew, it sure looked as if there were certainly some interesting looking things in stock. Even if he didn't plan on buying anything, just looking would be good enough.
Upon entering the excitement to browse had been cut short when the Dovaa shop keeper greeting him and made his request for help. Now Tamri's mother had always taught him to help people when he could and he could probably help here. Plus the guy seemed nice enough and he really didn't actually want to do any of his running around.
Tamri nodded and replied, “Yes, I can help.”

Task 1 Quote: "I've lost a letter on my way here this morning. It’s extremely important to me and I’d prefer that no one read it." a small blush and awkward expression passes over his face. "But since I can’t leave the shop, you’ll have to go back along my path and try to find it for me." The path to the shop is a rather winding one with many bushes, trees, and shrubs along it. So many places for a letter to hide. Roll 1d100. 1-10: You find it but it’s been opened already! You return and may say you didn’t find it or you may give it to him. Have fun explaining why it’s open. Go to Opened Letter or Failure (if you decide to say you didn’t find it). 11-70: You find the letter and it’s closed. You may open it and read it, or you may return it to him unopened. Or you may not return it if you don’t want too. If you return it unopened go to Success. If you open it go to Opened Letter. 71-100: You can’t find it at all. Go to Failure. Tamri left the shop with a task and determination to get it done. He was a little curious about the nature of the task, he had expected something a little more like picking up stock from another store or something like that. It didn't matter though, he would get it done.
Searching got boring a little quickly than he expected it to, so he did what he could to make it a little more interesting for himself. He pretended he was a legendary treasure hunter following a map to some pile of secret riches. He worked out some pretty interesting details and it was something he might have to remember and use a bed time story for his little brother.

Opened Letter Quote: The letter is a love letter! With some really bad poetry too… Poor Arick, he may be good at selling stuff but poetry is not his strong suit. You notice that he is writing to an “Apicius”. Could this be the same Legendary Dovaa who makes the strongest Potions? Or is it a different person? When you return to Arick and give him the letter what do you say? Do you try not to show that you read his terrible writing, or tease him about his bad poetry, or do you try to give him hints on how to write better poetry? No matter what you say, Arick is very embarrassed! His face is bright red as he blushes and he buries his face in his hands. He doesn’t blame you for what happens, it’s not your fault the letter was open, right? Eventually he recovers and asks if you will do another task, this time dealing with his shop and nothing personal. After what felt like the hundredth bush he had looked through, or rock he had looked under, when there was finally a result. An envelope laying on the ground that looked like it had been trampled a little. Tamri picked it up with a broad grin. That was until he noticed a little something else about the letter. It had been opened, deliberately by the look of it too.
Tamri held it for a moment and just looked at it. Still curious about what was special about and why it was so important for him to find it, also figuring the damage had already been done, he slipped it out of the envelope and took a look.
After reading it he didn't know quite how to react. Should he laugh, should he feel bad for the man, or weep for the literary arts. Tamri was still a kid but he was pretty sure anything he wrote would be about five times better.
He decided the best thing he could do was simply put it back into the envelope and deliver it like he was suppose to . He made his way back to the shop quickly and returned the letter. “I found it opened,” Tamri tried to explain as he handed it over and maybe a little quickly added, “I didn't read it.” It probably made it all too obvious that he had in fact read the letter, but he wasn't going to say anything.
The young orderite was happy the shop keeper wasn't mad about the letter, he was also quite happy when he was given the next task and he could excuse himself from the slightly awkward moment.

Task 2 Quote: This task is more important, his stock of pearly scales is running low and he needs you to go get three for him. He tells you that there are two ways to get them. One is to fight an Oralrik and the second is to search the banks of Serenia’s lakes for the scales. SearchRoll 1d100. 1-10: Failure, you find nothing. You may return to Arick with nothing or try to fight an Oralrik instead. Go to Fight or Failure. 11-99: Success! You find 3 of them. You may give all 3 to Arick or nothing at all. Go to Success if you give them to him or Failure if you decide to keep them. 100: Success! You find 6 scales! You may keep 3 and give 3 to Arick. Go to Success. Fighting was obviously out of the question for Tamri. So that meant it was searching was what he was going to have to do. He was lucky enough that the lake where he was told to go look wasn't too far away, a small trip and he would be able to start looking for the scales.
It was a pretty uneventful trip. He was use to traversing Serenia and knew a good path to one of the lakes. Then the search began. He found the first two scales he needed easily enough but the last one, that was where his luck ran out.
Tamri decided he hated sand as he trudged around the sandy bank around the lake. What was certainly at least an hour later before he found the last one that he needed. He was so happy when he saw it there, he practically jumped for joy before snatching it up and heading back towards the city.

Success Quote: Arick grins, so he’d judged you right! You were good enough to do the tasks he needed done. So nice to know that there are dependable people out there. Handing over the scales went a lot better than returning the letter had. No awkward moment, just simply handing over the items that were asked for. The Dovaa seemed pleased to get scales and Tamri was happy for the praise. A little energized again he was ready for his next task.

Task 3 Quote: This time he needs Nocturnal Spikes, he’s out and a customer came by asking for some and he said that he would have some by tomorrow. You may fight an Riistäjä for its Spikes or you may search the forest of Souldul for them. You must RP your traveling and search/fighting. SearchRoll 1d100. 1-10: Failure, you find nothing. You may return to Arick with nothing or try to fight a Riistäjä instead. Go to Fight or Failure if you decide to return with nothing. 11-99: Success! You find 2 of them. You may give all 2 to Arick or nothing at all. Go to Success if you give them to him or Failure if you decide to keep them. 100: Success! You find 4 spikes! You may keep 2 and give 2 to Arick. Go to Success He was a little less excited when he heard that the next task was once again going out to look for things. This one would require a little more work as well as he was going to have to leave Serenia and go looking else where. He was a little more uncertain about this trip as he had rarely left home, but the worry seemed to be all for not and the trip was fine.
Searching the forest went a little worse than the lake. His clumsy nature did not do so well with the roots of trees and generally more difficult terrain. He tripped and fell a couple of times, getting a few scrapes and bruises as he went.
This task took a little less time then the last but by the time he found the second spike he needed he missed the sand a little. Sand didn't hurt when you fell on it like dirt and rocks did. It took him a little while to navigate out of the forest, but when he did at last he made for home quickly.

Tamri was tired and a little sore when he handed over the spikes to the shop keeper but he was still beaming. That was one more success under his belt.

Final Quote: If Arick receives all 3 you get the Gaili Orb and an Ayrala Dragon's Tear. He is happy and relieved. "Oh, thank you so very much, young one. You really did me good there! Here, take this orb and tear as thanks for a job well done!" Tamri happily took the items that were offered. With a grin he repled. “You're welcome, I'm glad I could help.” It had been a long day but even so it had turned out better than the boring old productive day that it was suppose to have been.
