The tall grass gently swayed while five little mounds laid safely tucked away around Howa. Her warm eyes scanned over the cubs, taking note that each one was still asleep. It didn't seem that long ago that she stumbled upon the panicked lion, but now all that remained of their interaction were the babies. Howa was quite surprised to find out she was pregnant, but extremely excited too. This would be her first litter and they would join her new home. Though for now, they rested in the grass. When they are old enough, she'll gather them and travel to the Kikombe Lands. Howa has responsibilities, but now she rests with her cubs.
