An old mansion with an almost haunted appearance. It was build with Victorian architecture, and well maintained until seven years ago. It was originally the mansion the three headmistresses shared, prior to their deaths. Now, seven years later, Aurora's daughter's presence there allows their ghosts to remain, coming and going as they please without any of the hindrances not having a body would cause in the outside world. The building is constantly haunted as Helen prefers to stay there in the mansion then to spend any time in hell. Aurora stays to support her daughter, Korina. Lyndis comes and goes as she pleases. The headmistresses belongings are still fully intact inside, though ocasionally books and many things can be seen moving themselves, or pans hitting unsuspecting jehovah's witnesses in the face, moved by unseen hands. While the sisters are easily able to maintain visible form within the magic field of the Mansion, Lyndis and Helen enjoy being able to pull pranks in their invisible forms. Because of the ghosts present in the mansion (helen in particular) it has become more difficult to maintain steady help... especially since Korina, the only living person in the household, prefers not to hire any. While the building legally belongs to Korina according to her mother's will, you would be hard pressed to get Helen to admit as much.

The main room of the Manse is decorated with two large staircases rising to the second floor. The entire mansion would look regal and extravagant if not for the overgrown lawn and the disrepair of the houses exterior. The inside is strangely clean and maintained, but none of the ghosts can be corporeal outside the building, which makes it harder to maintain the grounds without help. The building has a ridiculous number of unused rooms, many of which have only been seen by the ghosts for seven years, since Korina is often either cooking or in her room. Most of the Mansion is in various states of disuse.

Ghosts never lie. If they tell me you are evil, then you will never convince me you aren't
Korina entered the house, yelling "hey, Aunt helen, i'm home!" Before going to her room and throwing her backpack on her bed. She started on her homework immediately, redoing her history work to the text book, instead of based on first hand accounts like it was the first time. She did her math and her physics work as well, before sitting down and trying to write her speech. Unfortunately, Aurora believed in letting her do her own work, so while she would help her improve it and check it for errors and mistakes, she would still have to come up with the bulk content herself. She groaned in irritation. Why the hell did the normals get so irrational about people with powers anyways... it shouldn't be this big a deal.

You think that what you don't believe in cannot hurt you? hah. Ghosts can be quite deadly when your precious body isn't there to defend you.

In the quiet room Korina was working all was at peace. Out from the floor behind the chair a form rose up. It rose high and took shape reaching hands around Korina's neck resting on her shoulders. It leaned its head over her shoulder. "Having fun with homework?" the spirit said quietly.

Korina let lot free a slightly unladylike snort and rolled her eyes. "Eh, hell ******** no?" She answered, honestly. Homework was one of her least favorite things on earth, second only to Mr. Willows. "Having fun haunting?" she asked back.betting being trapped in a house all day was less fun than homework most times.

Helen moved over to the bed and sat down on it quickly. "Well since you are not scared of my popping up anymore it is less fun with just you in the house. Sure its not like I am gonna roam around like Lyndis but whatever," She said dismissively.

"Maybe we should invite people over?" Korina suggested mischievously. "I know a few people from school who would jump at a party at a mansion". She said, with just a hint of malice.

Helen perked up at that idea so much that she was floating. "Hehehe. That would be perfect. Aurora would be completely against it, but if they are already here it is hard for her say no, you know beyond scaring them out herself. With tomarrow being friday in all it would be perfect," Helen said positively ecstatic.

"Yay! i shall pass around invites then!" She said, happy to help her aunt be less bored. She pulled a couple of video games and movies out of her backpack and gave them to the ghost as well. She felt bad for the immense level of boredom she must have to put up with."I hope these ones are half decent. Sorry i can't offer anything better until tomorrow."

Helen looked them over and thought about it. "I was wanting to see this movie. I saw the previews and it looked entertaining. Also who knows the games could have some amount of sadistic joy in them," She said picking the stuff up. "Well before Aurora comes in and snaps at me for distracting you from homework, I should leave. She is so annoying sometimes," She said as she started out of the room.

"aww. Fine. Back to the stupid homework." She rolled her eyes and returned to staring at the stupid student council speech... She continued for a while until she has something somewhat authoritative sounding that made sense and appealed to the sensitivities of both groups... then she fell on her bed and sighed.

Korina woke up from sleeping the next morning and went to go make herself some bacon and eggs. She moved down the stairs silently because of her fluffy slippers. She set the coffee pot to percolate, and then began frying the bacon. She would end up making the eggs. She stepped out of the kitchen to go and get her phone, and then stopped right outside the foyer. She heard something.

Of no use to one Yet absolute bliss to two.
The small boy gets it for nothing. The young man has to lie for it. The old man has to buy it.

The doors creaked open pushed by two large stone hands. In walked Nina in her long black dress, and as she walked in the hands pulled back into the ground. She walked within the center of the room and looked around the large open room.

Nina took a deep breath and exhaled thinking to herself. "I wasn't sure where to say this so I decided to come here. You may not wish to see me entering your home however I feel I must say this. I know I fought against your school seven years ago and even nearly killed many of the other students. As well as even aid in your deaths to some degree. I do regret that it ended the way it did, however I made my choice and I accept the results both good and bad. That brings me to why I came here. I will protect this city and its inhabitants for as long as I am alive. Those who seek to harm those with powers will fall before me one way or another," Nina said to the open air. Not expecting a response she lightly sighed and turned to leave as swiftly as she had arrived.

Helen watched from the balcony the whole time and did little more than glare.

The baby's right, The lover's privilege, The hypocrite's mask.
To the young girl, faith; To the married woman, hope; To the old maid, charity.

Korina made a note to ask Aurora or Helen about that later. She went up to get her phone and then made herself, her mom, and her Aunts some food. They could eat it if they wanted for the taste, but they wouldn't need to. She set the table anyways, and told everyone breakfast was ready.

The sisters came into the room and took seat around the table however the three of them were far more quiet than they normally are. Helen looked clearly irritated, Lyndis looked more sorrowful, while Aurora was thinking deeply about something.

"so... what the hell was that about?" Korina asked as she dished out the food.
