History: Ayame was a very plain young lady in her human life. Excelling in schooling, Ayame found academics to be helpful as she was on a journey to business school. However at the untimely event of her death, Ayame's hopes and dreams of becoming a business woman were shattered. Undergoing a fatal attack to the immune system, Ayame spent the last year of her life connected to machines and fluids in a hospital.
Once crossing over from her plain life as a business major, Ayame now walked the lands of the dead. This however, was when she learned of the Shinigami. Ayame, being still so young, decided to enroll in the academy at the Soul Society. Again, excelling in more academics than physical training. She finished schooling as a Shinigami and soon was fully employed as a professional Shinigami for the Gotei 13.
