I'm only guessing what Lokablót is. So could you give a brief overview so I know if I'm right or not?
cat_crying I totally haven't been paying attention to my festival schedule at all. Just the solstices and equinoxes because that's on a regular calendar. cat_crying I need to rebuild my calendar.

Oh I know cat_gonk And I lost my site for festival dates. The few others I've found being tossed around in the community give like Jan., Feb., Mar., etc dates rather than I Anket and so on. Or have only a few like Chewing Onions for Bast. Which has an interesting history behind it.
Sounds like an interesting time. How is it unofficially officially on April 1st? Like the history behind it. Do you know off hand?

I know what you mean cat_whee I started putting together a calendar. I don't try to go the lunar route. That just means that I have to keep remaking my calendar each year. If I actually keep up with it I just have to learn when I'll have to add a 6th epagomenal day for leap years. But I think I found a good site with a list of festivals on it. I just haven't had the time to sit down and actually go through it yet.
But a quick glance through says tomorrow's the Feast of Purification. cat_gonk And I somehow didn't have Shu and Djehuty bring back The Udjat-Eye on my list of festivals involving Djehuty. O.o
I need to sit down one day and go through all of these. I'm wondering if that list is as long as a Hellenic one.

I totally messed up last time I was working on my calendar. Feast of Purification isn't until next month. But Day of the Executioners of Sekhmet is this weekend cat_gonk
Nevermind. I keep getting II Shemu and III Shemu festivals mixed up.

Well that's an easy mistake to make. xd I suppose it all used to be much easier when you had a regularly rising river to rely on (ha check dat alliteration) and a bunch of priests to remind you what holiday was up next.
Course us barbarian types didn't have no fancy booklearnin' or nuthin. wink
Recon-wise there's a bunch of remembrance days I could be celebrating, but aside from Leif Erikson Day and Lindisfarne Day I forget when they are, and even whether the people were real or not xd Some of them were heroes in Sagas but we aren't sure if they're historical. There was one martyr who got gold poured down his throat that I held a memorial for once but that was it because man am I forgetful.
