Name: Cherokee Viridiana Vasquez

Nickname: Chero, Viri

Age: 13

Birthday: April 1st

Sign: Aries

Gemstone: Diamond

Blood Type: B+

Fav. Food: Chero loves food, and especially likes other people's food. That is to say, if you look like you're enjoying your meal, she's going to be interested in it. She'll eat whatever she's served, whether she likes it or not, because her mama taught her better than to waste it! She is also a champion of spicy!

Hated Food: Oddly enough, Cherokee isn't a big fan of candy.

School: 8th Grade at Knightside Academy, transfering to HITS in the Fall on Scholarship.

Hobbies:

B-Boy-- Cherokee has been dancing since she was four. What first started out as free program a few times a week during daycare has turned out to be a passion for the aggressively active child and a godsend for her overworked mother, as it keeps Chero out of trouble and gives her somewhere where her kinetic skill and energy is valued. Chero's fearless nature and absolute trust in her own body has made her an amazingly skilled young dancer, and she actively competes in dance battles and tournaments throughout the city, as well as practicing daily. While she doesn't have a particular crew she's aligned with [yet], Cherokee is a serious contender as a dancer, and her muscled body shows her dedication, she favors arial moves, gymnastics, sharp poses, and a lively, active energy.

Traceur -- Combining her acrobatic skills with her love of exploration, it's a given that Chero would be interested in leaping, rolling, and flipping across urban landscapes. She's fearless, and with the arrival of the super speed given to chibi senshi, as well as increased strength and agility, Cherokee [primarily as Sailor Holler], can be found daringly traversing landscapes. She finds it exhilarating, as well as the survivalist mentality that crafted the discipline of parkour.

Cheerleading -- It was all her best friend Sierra's idea, though the coach is happy to have Cherokee on board! In fact, her physical abilities and need of alternative teaching methods are part of the reason she'll be headed to HITS in the fall. Chero is one of the strongest members of her squad and does many of their acrobatic tricks, is small enough to be a flyer, but strong enough to be a base, when necessary. Chero enjoys cheerleading for the routines, competition, and team bodywork, and she's required to keep her grades up to participate.

Awesome Historical Women -- Maybe Chero has a hard time focusing in class, or doing her homework, but she can tell you all about Madam C.J. Walker! Harriet Tubman! Keiko Fukuda Shihan! Hedy Lamar! Aung San Suu Kyi! This girl is always reading about women that did what they wanted and made everyone deal with it and will be happy to tell you [loudly] all about them. Forget comic books, or CYOA, Chero is far more interested in history! She knows women can change the world, because they already have. She often makes references to them in day-to-day life, and most of her "advice" is based off her Lady Hero of the week. Her mother, while encouraging of her daughter's interest in powerful women, is mostly glad that Cherokee is using the library card.

Virtues:

Confident: Chero knows what she can do. She knows her strengths, what she likes, what she wants, and she won't let you tell her otherwise. When it comes to something she's sure of, the girl doesn't hesitate. Whether that's taking on a physical challenge, or defending her knowledge of history, or stopping you from doing something wrong, she's got no doubts, and will do it with or without your help!

Ethical: Chero is innately good-hearted. She doesn't worry about rules, but instead over what feels right and what doesn't. She might trespass, but she would have an issue stealing from someone! She might get in a fight, but she won't let you bully that girl for a stupid reason like her weight! Chero is a "good kid," despite whatever trouble she may get into, and balks at the idea of doing something outside of her comfort of "right". She becomes instantly stubborn on the issue, and must be persuaded that there is a good reason for whatever is happening. If she CAN'T be persuaded, then she'll do what's in her power to stop it from occurring.

Loyal: Though she's a generally nice kid, Chero doesn't have many close friends [e.g. one], and clings to those tight-knit relationships with the ferocity of a bulldog. She will defend you at every turn, even sacrificing her own well being and is extraordinarily reluctant to act against them. While she may not always understand her feelings, she'll never lie to her friends or do anything with the intention to hurt them. Chero is solid and reliable, and if you need help, she'll be there.

Flaws:

Inarticulate: Despite her confidence in external matters [her physical abilities, studies in school, and so on], Chero lacks the ability to communicate the depth of her thoughts or emotions. While she can recognize when she's angry, she probably can't tell you the real reason why. If she's shy about something, her expressive face is bound to show it, even though her words won't be able to explain it. Her failure to be able to communicate her emotional needs robs her of the opportunity to understand and get what she truly wants and often results in a physical reaction instead, whether that's sports or working out to get rid of her energy or a fight, and she often ends up in trouble with authority figures because she can't explain why.

Easily Manipulated/Socially Unintelligent: Once you've won Chero's loyalty, you have the ability to make her into your toy. When faced with a choice between her ethics and her loyalty, she becomes instantly upset, and wants nothing more than to be able to trust that those she cares for are steering her down the right path, often resulting in being easily convinced rather than having to examine and resolve an internal conflict. Anyone clever enough to learn Cherokee's triggers can control her, as the girl isn't socially savvy. She's not stupid, but she needs help navigating the subtle nuances of when others are being honest or truthful.

Emotional: This girl feels things. If she's happy, she's really happy, if she's upset, it's tragic, and if she's angry, you're looking at a mini-hulk. These mood swings heavily effect her daily life, because even though the girl quickly expresses and then discards her emotions from one moment to the next, it's hard to find friends who want to put up with it. The brunette doesn't want to take things to heart, but can't help it, and it's an endless source of frustration for herself and others.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: A lovely, bold blue that leans toward grey.

Hair: SUPER DARK BROWN, NOT QUITE BLACK, short, thick, straight, and a bit tousled.

Skin/Body: She is quite a warm, brown shade, one that is far lighter than her hair. She is a pretty buff little kid, and pretty short.

Face: Tomboy and fierce! Chero pouts a lot, and she’s got big, dark expressive brows. She has a buttload of freckles the color of her hair, too. Often confused for an adorable little boy.

Clothes: Cherokee dresses like a b boy. Snapbacks, tees, jackets, sweats, sagged pants, sneakers, the whole thing. She loves primary colors, and hates pastels. A couple of crazy colored, beaded bracelets or anklets from her bestie’s favorite hobby of beading/jewelry-making.

-----------

Senshi: Sailor Holler, Chibi Senshi of Wreckage

1. The act of wrecking or the state of being wrecked. 2. Something wrecked. 3. The debris of something wrecked

The remains of something that has been badly damaged or destroyed.

Challenge: I’m Gonna Wreck It!

Fuku Colour:
Main Color: Mostly CC, I’m hoping to see some blues, golds, maybe some minor black details.
Secondary Color:

Fuku: Super tomboy! I’d like her to have as boyish a uniform as possible, no skirts here! A rolled up bandana or headband can be her tiara. Piratey/Swashbuckling theme? Maybe even a hat? But rather than new, shiny stuff, any brass should be tarnished, maybe even some tatters/holes in the uniform. Rough and tumble gloves? Play with it!

Attacks:

Sailor Scout Attack: Wrecking Ball!
Holler clasps her fists together like she's swinging something on a heavy chain, and shouts the name of her attack, a 7 foot wave of blue-grey magic following her swing! Her target goes flying off their feet in the opposite direction, as if they've been struck by a large wrecking ball. This attack itself does not cause damage, it is purely impact, though the character may suffer a hard landing or strike something that injures them [up to the player]. May be used twice in battle.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Wrecking Smash!
Holler clasps her fists together like she's swinging something on a heavy chain, and shouts the name of her attack, a 7 foot wave of blue-grey magic following her swing! Opponents caught in the wake of the swing go flying off their feet in the opposite direction, as if they've been struck by a large wrecking ball. This attack itself does not cause damage, it is purely impact, though the character may suffer a hard landing or strike something that injures them [up to the player]. May be used twice in battle.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Chero will likely be old enough to become a real senshi before she upgrades to Eternal, and I'd prefer to come up with an attack for approval at that time, since I'll have to revise, anyway.

Hey, Indu!

The civilian side of this looks great to me; she has a lot of interesting qualities that I think will make for fun roleplay!

Reading through her attack I think it might read as too close to a regular senshi attack than a chibi, so I had a few questions to help clear things up!

For her attacks, do they only have one target per usage? Or can she swing the wrecking ball in a circle and whoever it hits is affected? [Just wanted to clarify this between her first and second stage magic]

Additionally, a ten foot wave for an attack that isn't a buffer is a little large for a chibi, and I don't think I'm visualizing this properly. Does her swing have a ten foot radius, or does the magic push the target back ten feet?

In terms of throwing the person off their feet, this is pretty powerful magic that I would feel fine stamping on a regular senshi, but for a chibi I don't think she should be pushing them back with enough force that they could hurt themselves while landing/crashing into things. How fast+how far are her targets being hit during her magic? I think that for a chibi, hitting them with enough pressure to cause a bit of discomfort on impact and pushing them back five feet or so would be appropriate (with the stipulation that they may feel off balance and fall to their feet) for basic and maybe a further distance+more targets for super would work, but let me know what you had in mind for that!

Thanks, Kyu! I am pretty eager to start RPing Chero, cause I think it's going to be a lot of fun.

To answer you point by point on the senshi side:

If I was writing this as a regular senshi's attack, I'd actually go with a different set/amp them up a bit to actually cause harm. The goal of this attack is primarily defense, not offense = providing a way for chibi holler to get enemies way too strong from her way from herself or an ally. Including that they could potentially be hurt if they hit into something is just me trying to place in some realism, but at the same time, senshi and officers are falling from great distances/etc., with little damage, all the time, so that's entirely up to the player, if they want their character to be damaged? The attack itself does no physical pain/harm.

I compensated the fact that it does no actual damage with the ability to knock a target off their feet/away from her. If that's not okay, I'll probably change the attacks. Pushing them back doesn't accomplish the same "wrecking ball" feel that was the inspiration for the attack and doesn't seem very related to the sphere, so I could probably find a different, more offensive thing that's closer related to the meaning of "wreckage".

I actually got the 10 ft radius from Chibi Pallene of rigor, because I was looking for a reasonable distance, so referenced already stamped chibis. The swing itself is a ten foot radius, so those caught in it would be effected. I didn't want to make her attack physically stronger/harmful, so I went with it effecting more people, instead, since it's still single use. Alternatively, I could up the usage per battle? She currently only uses it once, as a sort of, emergency effort.

Rather than hardcoding how far someone is flung, or how fast, I wanted to leave that open to the other player. It's up to them if they want their character to hit into a mailbox or not, or if the impact even bothers them at all, as I said before, it shouldn't be causing any damage unless someone wants it to.

I hope that makes it a little more clear? The only goal/purpose of the attack is to knock someone away from herself/ally for purposes of defense/escape. No one is being flung across football fields or through windows, it's being lifted off their feet and tossed a few feet. More distracting/startling than harmful.

All right, I definitely see where you are coming from! Thank you for clearing that up! Giving the choice of landing up to the player definitely would remove the risk of it doing too much damage, though I think that if she can hit everyone within a certain radius, I think the radius should shrink a bit [but I also I think if you dropped the radius to 5-7 feet, it would be very fair to up the usage of this attack in battle since it isn't causing any real damage].

One other question! Does her magic repel everyone within that radius or only chaos members?

Other than that, if you can include a radius in her first attack [and if you want to up the usages for that and her super if you are willing to shrink the radius a bit], I have nothing other to pick at!

I shortened it to 7 feet on both attacks, and made it more clear than any damage suffered is up to the player! This attack effects whomever's in the wave of the swing, it's not faction-specific [woops, sorry allies!]. Hopefully she'll have good aim!

Please let me know if I've missed anything.

Nope! Everything looks good to me, so I think a stamp is in order! Enjoy playing her!
