Kenny had been sad for a while now and even though he had his grandparents he still wished he was by his father's side. Luckily both his grandparents had thought it would be great if it was time they come back as a surprise. The moment they had told Kenny his face lite up with joy that he went floating around all over the place.
With their things all packed they made their way on back to the town but with the things that had been happening it seemed they couldn't completely get back. They were forced to stay at a nearby hotel which disappointed the little ghost. He had been sat down and told the bad new which only made him sadder. He had really been looking forward to seeing his father and receiving his love in person again. So close but still so far.
The little boy waited by the window, watching people walk by while his grandparents made a phone call to Yoo. Looking over when Victor opened the door and left it open. Kenny looked to his other grandfather and saw he was going to the bathroom. Seeing his chance he floated over to the opened door and since Victor wasn't looking Kenny slipped out. If his grandparents couldn't take him then he would have to take himself.
The small little boy had gone rather far from his grandparents but with the goal of finding his father in his mind he couldn't help it. The poor little boy hadn't seen his father in so long and he really missed him. The phone calls and video chatting were nice but it didn't make up for wanting to embrace his father. He had got so far but now he was lost and he wasn't enjoying it. It reminded him of the time before he met his father. It was a time he didn't want to remember.
Tears began to roll down his face as the thought that he wouldn't be able to his way to his father. He fall back onto his bottom cried louder, the few people walking around looking at him yet not willing to come near the toddler. He looked mostly human but his slight pointy ears gave him away and that was what kept people away.

Anox had just recently come back to town, and as he had nothing but the clothes on his back, the demon was in down searching for things that he needed. He could hear the sobbing of a child over the din of other human noises around them, but ignored it, rustling his wings and setting his jaw as he stepped into a shop.
He spent a good five minutes in there, trying to ignore the sound that seemed to be drilling its way into his very heart before he gave in and slipped outside again, looking around for the source, hoping he wasnt going to find some form of abuse going on.
He finally spotted the little ghost and blinked in surprise, a meta? Out here, alone? He looked around for the toddler's parent, and saw none, his face hardened into a frown, he had heard from Gio that there were a lot of kids being abandoned, but he didnt think it was this bad...
He headed over to the toddler and knelt in front of him, "Hey... Where is your mum or dad?" he asks, trying to keep his voice soothing, but it was gruff from not using it for a long time. He just couldnt help it.

His tears kept coming down even when Anox came closer but it did begin to slow down as he looked to the stranger. He had always been told to not speak to people he didn't know but it seemed this person wanted to help him. "Thchool, the big Thchool." He tried to tell Anox even if his lisp was making it a little hard. Sniffing a little he wiped his tears with the sleeve of his sweater. "Kenny lotht. Wanna find daddy. But Kenny lotht. Kenny ith bad." The ghost toddler lowered his head and looked like he would start crying again when he thought that his grandparents would be mad with him. "Didn't mean to and Kenny ith thorry." A few more tears rolled down his father. "Kenny wantth daddy Yoo." Even more tears came out as he began to cry louder making more people stare at the two.

Anox flinches and looks very uncomfortable, "H-Hey now... No crying..." he murmurs, "The big school... You must mean..." he trails off, glancing off in that direction. "Alight... Calm down kid... I can take you there." he murmurs, again, trying very very hard to keep his voice soothing.
He smiles a little offers out his hand to the toddler, steeling himself for the touch with a deep, slow breath, so he could control the shiver he knew would come. "But you have to be brave okay? Its a long walk..." he insists, nodding.

At the hearing of the older man taking him there the toddler started to quiet some but the tears kept flowing. Again he wiped his tears messily before looking up to Anox, sniffing a few times. Kenny also didn't think twice when his tiny hand took the larger one tightly and nodded his head to the adult. "Kenny will try hith betht." He sniffed again. He really didn't like walking but for his father he would try and if he got tired he would simply try his best at floating.
With his messy face he looked up to Anox with his little frown and began to feel a little better that someone was helping. "Thank you," the little ghost said remembering what his grandparents told him to say when someone helped you out. His hold suddenly tightened as he looked forward then from either side wondering which way they would have to go.

Anox shivered slightly at the contact, setting his wings a little as he stood, the boy was too short to walk hand in hind, and he was slumped over trying to keep it there. He sighs and shakes his head, he didnt know why he was doing this...
"No problem kid... Up you go." he huffs, picking him up easily and placing him on one shoulder so he could sit. He wasnt going to deal with a whining child. He starts to walk down the street, heading back to the school.

The being placed on the man's shoulder but the toddler became happier. Almost instantly he clung onto the man's head and started to smile some more. The sadness he was feeling was going away. Of course it was since he was getting help to getting to the school as well as not getting to walk. It was a nice bonus.
As they walked he continued to look around, clinging tighter to the older meta's head. The area did seem a little bit more scary than he last remember even if it was a way back that he left the school.

Anox ignored the tingling in his head, eye twitching a little as he shuffles his wings, wanting to hurry this along.
"What did you say your name was Kid?" he asks, keeping a hand on his feet to keep him from falling. He had to distract himself, this was so out of the norm.

Sadly for Anox, Kenny was a very hands on little boy and liked it that way. "Daddy named me Kenneth but call me Kenny. You can call me Kenny too." The little boy smiled and gave the older man a pat on the head. "What your name mithter?" The ghost asked, leaning over to look the man in the face or try to.

He clears his throat, "Ah, my name is Anox..." he murmurs, blinking little at the kid when he leaned into his face like that. "Who is your dad? Maybe i can get you straight to him...?" he muses.

"A-n-o-x." There was some trouble saying it but he tried. "Hard name mithter Anox." Yeah it really was hard to say that the boy made a weird face while trying to say it. He soon put it behind him as he heard the adult ask him a question. "Kenny'th daddy? That ith Yoo. Yoo ith Kenny's daddy. Can mithter...Anox really take Kenny to hith daddy?"

"When i was little... My best friend called me Annie..." he murmurs, wincing a little at the realization that he had just invited the kid to call him something that could be potentially embarassing. He nods though, "Yes, i can... I just need to find him. Yoo... Somebody should know where he is." he murmurs, picking up the pace a little as he walked. He really wanted this over with, and they were almost there already.

"That's a pretty name and eathier to thay." The little boy smiled a sat back in his normal position as he looked around more. The closer they got the more excited he got. Finally after so long he was going to be back in his father's arms. It made him cling and hug onto Anox more. "Thank you Annie," the small boy said cheerfully as he filled himself more with happiness.

Anox sighs and nods, "Thanks kid..." he murmurs, eye twitching. His head was tingling with the feeling of his head being hugged, it was so strange. He hit the edge of the property and started walking faster, wanting there, and wanting there now. He would have flown, but he didnt want to scare the boy.

Noticing the pace quicken Kenny looked to be enjoying it since he felt like he was bouncing a little. A giggle came from the ghost from the feeling he got from it. It had turned from a bad day to one that was probably the most fun he's had in a while.
It had been barely a minute since he had gotten another call from his parents telling him that his son had suddenly disappeared from their sights. Yoo now looked a little pale thinking that his son could possibly be in danger or lost and crying. His heart sank from the very thought.
After gathering his bag and coat he left his small house to head for the school hoping to possibly getting some kind of help from his brother or anyone. Dashing over there since it was very close to the school he stood in front of the school and began to look for anyone that he could ask for help.
