Atlantis had understood that this house was his and his alone but he did make it with Twinkleshine in mind just encase she ever wanted a place where she could stay and if he had heard properly she would be moving in today and that meant that he had a bit of cleaning to do which was a lot more work then he even wanted to do today but it was Twinkle, he was infatuated with this woman, he would do anything for her so a bit of cleaning wasn't too much to ask for right? Atlantis was trying to be careful till he ended up tripping over the table and ending up head falling face down and hitting his head against the chair "OW!" He said as he just decided to lay there, this wasn't exactly working out for him, made him wish he was back under the sea, didn't have to worry about this sort of thing down there much if at all.

Carrying the small bird in her arms, and a bag with her belongings strapped to her back, Twinkleshine emerged from the forest. It had been sad, being asked to leave the tree, but she simply couldn't let this small creature fend for herself. That would be cruel, which she was not! How lucky it was, after all, that they had finished their building of Atlantis's house only weeks before, and that her friend was so nice to let her stay there. Without it, she really would be without anywhere to go, and without any practical survival skills.
Raising her hand to shield her eyes from the setting sun, and soon recognizing the fairly small house, she smiled to herself. Yes... This would do perfectly until she could return to the tree.

Atlantis got up and sighed, putting the finishing touches on the place before making sure dinner was all nice and set on the table, sure it wasn't much but there was fruit, salad, Tafari had brought over some nice hot shoulder meat from a boar he killed and so they had nice hot tender meat and for desert Lust had made some blueberry muffins so everything was ready and now all he had to do was wait.

Shifting the little one's weight in her arms, the bird still sleeping from earlier in the trip, Twinkleshine moved closer to the home. It smelled quite wonderful outside, the scent from the cooked boar. Only then did she realize just how hungry she really was, as she hadn't eaten since early this morning. It would be nice to have a sit-down meal with her friend. Coming to the door, she raised a hand to knock on it before taking a step back, waiting for Atlantis to come and let her in.

Atlantis walked over to the door and opened it, smiling at the one behind it "welcome" he said as he stood out of the way for her to come in and noticed the noticed bird in her arms and backed away "umm whos that?" He asked, looking at the birds feet, they didn't exactly look like nice, friendly feet to him, those pointy bits looked like they were happy to rip something or even someone to sheds.

Smiling brightly, Twinkleshine walked inside and set her bag on a chair in the main room. Even if it was more than she had brought with her to the island originally, she still had few possessions on her person. She then moved to set Sparrow down on a softer part of the floor. They would need to get some softer seating eventually... Turning her attention to him, she answered. "That's Sparrow; she came from that egg you told me was an egg. She's the reason I can't stay in the tree anymore."

"She is safe?" Alright, stupid thing to ask but but whilst she looked cute those feet of it..." she said as he shook his head to clear it, there were other matters that needed attending to "sorry, ignore that" he said as he looked back to Twinkle "she is adorable! And you both are welcome to stay here for as long as you like" he said as he gestured to the place "you know this place already, pick a room if you wish" he said smiling at her "and the Chef doesn't like birds?" He asked curiously "but don't birds usually live in trees?" May not be much of a land lubber yet but even he knew the basics of where birds lived.

"Of course she is, stupid; Sparrow's only a baby after all, and I've never met a dangerous baby," she poked fun at him, moving around to the other side of him to get his perspective on the bird. Crossing her arms and nodding, she agreed with the notion that her new baby was cute before her eyes lit up and she turned, giving Atlantis a hug. "Thank you so, so, so much! I promise, it's only until she's old enough to live on her own, then you can have your own bachelor pad again..." pausing as she realized something, she let go and took a small step back before continuing, "...I hope we don't get in the way of you finding a girlfriend or something; I'd feel terrible if we did."
Ending her comment at that, she replied to his question. "Well, it's not a regular tree we live in, as far as I know. Only the faun and fauny are allowed inside. Clearly..." motioning to Sparrow, "...she's not a faun, and so Rais freaked out a bit and wanted her out. I didn't have to leave, but she did."

"Alright, fine, she is safe, got ya" he said as he smiled at the darling little chick and then back at the other "you are most welcome, this house was made for you remember? Well, mostly me but still, it gives you a place to come if you ever need a place to stay" he said as he hugged her back "and believe me I don't mind having my privet life interrupted by you, being a fish out of water doesn't exactly scream 'come date me' so it is fine if I lay off on trying to get someone" he said, deciding to not bother adding that he hasn't exactly looked because he had a crush on her.
"Then I guess that is understandable, special tree for Faun and Fauny only, at least when she is older she will hopefully find a place of her own close by at least so you and her can still meet up without going too far" he said, wondering now what the little one would look like when she was all grown up.

"Well, if you ever do find someone you wanna date, just let me know and I'll find somewhere else to stay; Lust and Tafari would probably be happy to house me," she grinned, coyly adding, "I mean, I'm not gonna stop looking cause I have a roommate, so you shouldn't either," before moving away towards the table, licking her lips.Turning around to face him again, she motioned to the food. "What's for dinner then?"

"Believe me, I have everything I want here but yes, go on, look for someone, you deserve someone but take your time also, you don't want to rush these things" he said as he walked over to the table "we have fresh tender stake, not sure if your little bird can eat cooked meat but I am sure we will soon find out and that is thanks to Tafari and the Blueberry muffins are from Lust and I did the fresh fruit salad and salad. I would of done more but I am still new to this cooking on land thing" he said as he gestured to the table "have a seat and dig in" he said as he sat down himself and looked at the bird "and you, you are going to taste your first bit of cooked meat" he said, hoping she would like it.

Humming lightly, Twinkleshine skipped to her seat and sat down, grabbing a cloth napkin and placing it onto her lap. "Where did you find all this decorative stuff anyways? It was so bare the last time I was here." Grabbing her plate, she began to look over everything. "Ooooh, it all looks so good! I can't wait to eat!" As she finished her statement, she grabbed a piece of meat, quite a few fruits, and two muffins. Hey, dinner is just dessert with savory food, right?
Seemingly aware that its meal time, the little bird's eyes slowly opened. She sat up slowly, her eyes closing as she yawned before looking around. What a strange place she now found herself in; she didn't recognize anything... But that scent... She turned, looking directly at the table. It smelled like food.

"The table is nothing really, just a few bits of wood that was left over from the construction of this place so at least it is somewhat stable and high enough to at least sit at the chairs...well, same thing, left over wood and so I don't think it wise to lean back, apologies it isn't anything more better but it was the best I could do on short notice. "And er...may I suggest using this?" He guestured to the leaf in front of her "not the best 'plate' but it does the trick, don't really need to get yourself messy now right? And besides, we still need to sort out what to do bout this little one" he said gesturing towards the chick.

Food... Food... Meat... Food... The bird stood up, her wings flexing behind her as she turned and stared at the table. It was the source of the scent of meat, of food. Her food. Moments later, she began walking over, making a direct path for it.
Laughing, Twinkleshine nodded, looking closer at the furniture to see what he meant. "Yeah... Sorry about the short heads up. Rais really wanted her out, so we had to leave faster than I would have liked. Given the short-notice, it looks really good." She gave him a thumbs-up.

"Thats fine, I don't think getting on the bad side of this Rais fellow would be a good idea" he said as he looked at the bird and chuckled "I think this one thinks so to" he said as he picked up a piece of meat and broke it up a little, maybe the strips will be better for it? "I don't know what to say about this one though" he said as he placed the strips onto the table for it "how does it feed? Will this be alright for it?" He asked curiously, hoping it would be fine.
