Kadryn headed out to Eowyn again. This time she was going to try for another 2 Firani Orbs. Her fatehr had been very impressed as had her mother... though Laasya had had a small panic attack upon seeing Kadryn's state; covered in blood, dirty, and wounded. Her little girl may be growing up, but some things never changed.

Fallon and Naiser had both been vastly amused at Laasya’s lecture, both smothering giggles and attempting to look serious. Kadryn would have found it more amusing had she not been busy placating her mother. Why wouldn’t her mother just get used to the blood and dirt? Hadn’t Kadryn always come home covered in hem? Kadryn shook her head at the thought as she flew to Eowyn. Maybe her mother had been lolled into believing Kadryn was calming down and growing up since she had been behaving herself and trying not to get dirty these past few months…. Kadryn grinned, fighting and going all out was just so much more fun than the careful plots and plans she’d been doing these past few months! And she was going to try and find another lone Firani again today, she’d learned her lesson last time, Firani’s were a bit too tough to take on two at the same time. She swooped and danced upon the breezes as they blew over the ocean. The sky above her was a pale blue, below was the sparkling deep blue of the ocean. Today was lovely, perfect for a hunt!

Kadryn headed away from the ocean and into the sandy dunes of Eowyn, the golden sands radiating heat even up to where she was high in the sky. While it was lovely over the ocean, over Eowyn, it felt like an oven. Kadryn flew towards the volcano that jutted above the sand dunes in its dark glory. It wasn’t belching out smoke today, but you could see the heat waves coming from its top. Keeping an eye out for any dragon’s flying about, Kadryn flew around the volcano looking for a lone Firani. Luck wasn’t with her today. It seemed that the Firani’s were out in force and paired up… she couldn’t spot any by themselves.

“Perhaps I should try a double battle with the smaller ones,” she muttered to herself.
She quickly fluttered down and hid amongst the rocks by two younger and smaller looking Firani Dragons. Their scales were a more vibrant red than the others she saw, bright and fiery compared to the others dark and burnished crimson scales. Her pulse quickened and blood began to burn in anticipation of the coming fight. A grin stretched her lips as she charged the larger one.

It was a good thing she choose young Firani’s to bttle with, when it was two versus one the battle was so much dangerous and tougher! Plus since they didn’t feel fire they just blasted her and the other in those nasty balls of flames. Kadryn never got into her rhythm, the fire and agileness of the young Firani’s defeated her. Snarling in realization that she needed to flee or be burned alive, Kadryn smashed her mace into the smaller one’s jaw, causing it to harmlessly blast the sky in flame. Jumping off of the other one’s back, Kadryn flew away, kiting about and dodging as one of them gave chase. She would have turned to fight, but she saw the other launch itself into the air… pity...

Kadryn ended up at home with no orb that night, but scotch marks and scratches a plenty.
