Azazel's home is pretty large, but that's just the way he lives. Every single window in his mansion is UV-protected, so although the sunlight comes in, it's pretty much harmless. Doesn't mean Azazel likes it, but he hates a dark house even more. It's probably best you don't disturbing while he sleeps away during most of the daylight hours, he generally gets very angry unless it's for a good reason. Thanks to the protection on his windows, he doesn't spend every daytime in bed, but it doesn't mean he'll venture far off a couch if he is awake. The weirdest part about Azazel's house is the fact he has a kitchen. Given most of the 'guests' he used to have around actually ate food, occasionally Azazel will cook something completely saturated in blood. It just makes his house seem less weird if it looks normal; besides the dark tinted windows that is.
Nikki stood and grinned when Azazel kiss his head. Usually he wasn't praised so when Azazel told him he had done well, Nikki couldn't help but grin like an idiot. He watched Azazel help Mateo stand up and smiled at the ram before they got going. He nearly skipped along the way, pausing when he saw the nice black car. Obviously Azazel had money to spend if he could afford such a nice car along with two slaves. He even said that eventually they would get to go shopping! Even if it wasn't today, Nikki was excited at the thought of getting to spend money on a whole new wardrobe. He was obsessed with clothes and dressing up.
When the two boys were helped into the car, Nikki noticed the treatment he was getting right away and frowned a little as he buckled up. Although it was nice to be treated gently, being treated like a lady was a whole other story. Nikki was a boy! When would these people realize?! The fact that he jumped when the car roared to life didn't help him with reminding everyone that he too had male genitalia though.
Nikki glanced out the window as they sped over the speed limit, wondering if Azazel was in a rush to get home. He guessed it made sense if Azazel wa. He'd had vampires as masters before and knew that the sunlight seemed to tire them out. Of course, Azazel probably wanted to go home and sleep Mateo seemed tired too. Nikki wondered if it was because he'd fed from them or if they had just been through a lot today. Regardless of having fed off Mateo and taken a whole meal of thqt strange energy, Nikki was a bit sleepy. A big meal always had him sleepy but having the two, big, sleeping men around him was making Nikki tired as well.
Nikki leaned his head against the window and yawned quietly, letting his eyes drift shut. Even if the car ride wasn't long a little nap wouldn't hurt Nikki. The turquoise haired boy let the car's purring engine lull him to sleep and stayed quiet and still for the rest of the car ride. He just wanted to get to his new home. Nikki didn't care what kind of home it was as long as he didn't end up in a place worse than the slave shop.
Exhaustion swept over him in a wave once more, just reminding him that he was beyond fighting. He heard Azazel speak once more, just as he saw Nikki draw back, but to the ram, it didn’t much matter. He didn’t feel very in control of his fate any longer, and he knew that it would be foolish to think he was in control of anything at the moment. His body trembled, warning him of the upcoming change, and he knew that he would be moved from this room. That he would be going with these two, even if he didn’t want it. It was then Azzel came forward, grasping Mateo’s hands and rubbing them with his thumbs. The ram made a grunt in protest but not much more than that. He bit the inside of his cheek, trying not to fight the proximity though he hated it. He hated that he was being touched. He didn’t care how much taint had been removed from him, it was not something that sat well with the ram. He didn’t like being touched. Not unless he wanted to be touched, and right now, he was wary of the vampire. He didn’t want that darkness to come back. And the blonde male had offered it to him freely. The ram didn’t want the blonde male to suddenly decide it was time to put more darkness into him. Oh no, not after the spectacle in the room today, but there was not much choice. For as soon as Azazel removed his hold of Mateo’s hands, he was helping the ram up, and slinging a strong hold around the ram’s waist, making the angelic being shudder more. He didn’t care for this proximity, but he was fighting another battle and was choosing which one was more suitable to manage.
Once they had left the room, Mateo flinched a bit at the hallway and the people milling about in the place. Even though he didn’t feel as dirty since Nikki had taken away some of his darkness, the ram was still wary of those around him. Fear pulsed through him and threatened to overcome him. He felt more animal than man, and that was probably why his second form hummed so close to the surface. He was anxious and exhausted, and his true form wished to take him over to bring him peace and tranquility, but he was ashamed. He would not shift. Not in front of these men who were watching the halls. Not for this strange vampire who was taking him home. He didn’t want to look innocent and cuddly. He didn’t want to be coddled like someone who was incapable of protecting themselves. He was a man, and he knew it. He would not let his form be misleading. Of course, the more he walked, the more he trembled, He closed his eyes, letting Azazel do most of the leading for a while so he could pretend he was elsewhere and not in his current predicament. It worked well until they reached the office for paperwork. At least he seemed to be processed quickly and signed over into the blonde male’s name as property. After that it seemed that they were off. Nikki must have already fetched his price, which wasn’t very surprising, considering the way Azazel had coveted him from the moment they had both strode into the room where the ram had been lodging. The only question left was how long Azazel had had the pretty blue boy in his possession. Of course, Mateo didn’t feel much like asking questions at the moment, so he figured the answer would come with time.
When they were in the car, and speeding down the road, the ram slumped over in the back seat. He didn’t bother buckling up. He only paused a second to take notice of how delicately the blonde male treated Nikki. The ram tried to stiffen himself up to force his body to fight the relaxation it so desperately sought, but he felt himself slipping. Everyone in the car semed to be exhausted. He could feel the waves coming off both Azazel and Nikki. And in the matter of a few blinks, Nikki was slumping over in his seat. The ram looked up, trying to sit himself up, as a man, but he felt himself vibrate until his human skin was shrinking and becoming far more furry. Dread washed over him, even as his body lost the capacity to feel such an emotion, and instead, embarrassment and a bit of relief filed him. It was odd to feel both at once, but there was no helping what he looked like as a ram. He flushed deeply and kept his mouth shut against the desire to make all sorts of calls into the air with his new voice. He didn’t want to alarm anyone, but he was certain that if Azazel turned around, or even glanced in his mirror, he would see that his ram had become his namesake. A fuzzy, white-wooled ram, sitting on the backseat, like an oversized cotton ball. Even when they pulled up to the opulent house, Mateo curled tighter, looking out the window at the sights. Now, he wanted to escape the car. He wanted to get out and run away, so he would not be seen by either male. He wanted to dash away and hide until he became a man again, but he had no hands to open the door. He only hoped that the blonde male would pay more attention to his sleeping blue boy than to the ram in the backseat.

The car ride back home had been the most boring car ride ever in Azazel's opinion.
For one, Nikki had fallen asleep almost too soon and Mateo hadn't said a single word! Admittedly, he could smell the changes happening to the poor Ram as his bloodwork changed from humanoid to animal, so he made sure to show respect and not stare at his "pet" in the backseat, even if it was a hard thing to do when checking your rear view mirror was a must when changing lanes. Nonetheless, somehow the vampire managed to keep himself from staring for the last five minutes of the drive. Gate opening automatically as he pulled up to his manor, he parked in the shaded bay next to the house. Turning off the car and slumping back into the seat, Azazel got an idea. Turning his head just enough to show Mateo that he was talking to him, but kept his eyes from desperately glancing at his little angelic ball of fluff, Azazel spoke to his uneasy ram in a soft voice. "Ze garden is accessible through here. Just go straight. You may spend as much time outside as you vish. Nikki vill let you in ven you are ready if I am still asleep; I am going to have a short nap for a couple of hours. Go, enjoy yourself." Feeling slightly nauseated at how kind and considerate he sounded at this point in time - Azazel was usually anything but those - he put it down to being mentally weak from exhaustion. Climbing out the car, he left the driver's side door open and with a flick of a lever, his seat scooted forward to allow Mateo an easy exit from the car. The only thing that wasn't going to be an easy exit was getting Nikki out. But he had a plan for that as well, whether his bluebell liked it or not. Walking around the back of the car, doing his best to ignore any tempting sounds from his ram that would make him want to follow the fluffy beast, Azazel opened the passenger door. Now, regardless of Nikki still being asleep or not, the vampire hooked one of his arms under the slender legs of the shorter one, and another arm wrapped around behind him and with a slight twist and bend here, Nikki was out the car and cuddled close to Azazel's chest. Yet, the vampire held Nikki like a father would hold their child, closely and protectively. Turning his nose into the mass of blue locks, he softly inhaled as he shut the doors of his prized possession, locking the car with the click of a button on his keys.
Walking around in the shade to the back of his manor, Azazel shifted his arms that held Nikki so that one was holding the male up, while the other arm released itself to open the unlocked doors - his house was in a safe neighbourhood, and his fence was too high for humans to get over easily. He was quite safe, his house and it's belongings were quite safe. Once inside, Azazel let Nikki down to stand on his own, after making sure he could stand of course. Shutting the door, the vampire took off his hat and outer jacket and rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt. Feeling more comfortable in his own home, the vampire ran his fingers through his hair to fluff it up once more - hat hair really was quite unattractive, and he was anything but unattractive. They were standing in the recovery room, sort of similar to a fancy sports clinic recovery room, which lead straight out to the patio they'd just walked through, which housed a fairly big spa. Next to the recovery room was a large indoor spa that was a constantly comfortable temperature - nice, warm and relaxing. Not like Azazel could feel warmth as well as others, but some of his guests appreciated the nice environment. So naturally, this was the first room that Azazel showed to Nikki, followed by the pool. These rooms were off to the left of the entrance hall, so leading his little Incubus into the grand area, he began the tour of his house, his arm going around his bluebell's shoulders to keep him close - he really liked the scent of his little demon pet. The living room and kitchen were next, and by default so was the dining room since the living room opened straight up into it. Lounge room and games room followed, along with Azazel reciting rules about each room like he'd said it thousands of times before. Kitchen was a free for all. No food was allowed in the lounge room, but drinks were okay as long as they were careful. Games room was off-limits unless Azazel was around, reasons why not revealed. Pool room was never to be used unsupervised for safety reasons. Lower floor was to be kept clean at all times; no muddy footprints, no dirty clothes, no dirty dishes. Clean.
Leading Nikki back to the grand entrance hall, he stopped at the stairs and looked his little bluebell in the eyes. "After I show you ze upper floors, I am going to have a sleep. I always sleep during ze day, from 11am until about 4pm. Since it is late in ze afternoon and I have you and ze precious Ram, I vill only have a short nap. I vill be fine. But keep an eye on Mateo for me, my sweet. I do not quite understand him as vell as I thought I might. I vill need your help as much as possible." And with a stroke of Nikki's chin in a slightly more affectionate manner than he'd intended, Azazel took his little beauty upstairs to show him around. The upper level was mostly bedrooms; Azazel's Master Suite and three guest bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. But the redeeming feature was the home cinema, the vampire's other pride and joy, with the games room a close third. Again, the rules were the same; no mess, no clothes to be left lying out in the open (their own rooms were exempt as long as the door was kept shut if it was messy) and no food whatsoever in bedrooms. Popcorn and other movie food was allowed in the cinema room - he wasn't a total a**l a*****e, a movie room needed to have movie food in it after all. Reaching the end of the upper story that faced the front garden, Azazel pointed out three bedrooms. "You may pick vatever room you vant, little bluebell. My room is down ze other end, away from the morning and evening sun. Ve vill go out tomorrow to get you and Mateo some clothing. I have spares from guests who forgot zey had articles of clothing in ze laundry, all clean and pressed back to new again. Ze laundry, by ze vay, is located behind ze kitchen; zere is a passageway just out of sight. I have some older clothing zat has shrunk as vell zat you and Mateo can try on. Is it all stored in ze linen closet. It is actually a tiny bedroom I turned into a storage area." Chuckling at his grand idea at turning a too small bedroom into a storage room for linen, old clothing and some other things left behind from lovers past and other visitors that just... Disappeared, it turned out to be quite the intelligent idea at the time. Azazel really hadn't liked the idea of storing things in the attic. With the tour over, the vampire stretched his arms up towards the roof and groaned in a tired manner. "And vid dat, I vill leave you to explore. Keep an eye out for Mateo, yes? Make sure he is okay, and show him around if he vishes to look. If not, show him ze two remaining rooms after you have claimed your own." Sleepily, Azazel played with the ends of Nikki's hair, his eyes heavily lidded as he looked over his little demon. He had a firm rule about no-one disturbing him or joining him in bed while he slept, and he planned on keeping it that way... For now at least. Bending down, he kissed Nikki atop his mane of blue locks, his face lingering on top of the soft tresses for a moment. "Do. Not. Disturb me, little one. Unless it is an emergency. You are not to enter my room unless you have been invited in. This is a rule that must never be broken. Your life is not vorth it." And with this oddly dangerous warning out the way, Azazel left another kiss on Nikki's hair and simply walked away. He was incredibly over this bright sunlight and just wanted to sleep for at least two hours, until the sun was much lower. Not to mention his supply of fresh blood had recently been disposed of, so he was lacking quite a bit of energy to deal with the Ram and the Incubus right now. A phone call would need to be made when he awoke, and a delivery organised. The creak of a door opening and shutting loudly echoed around the upper story, and the faint sound of a lock clicking followed. Clothing just went everywhere and within minutes, the blonde Russian was comfortably asleep in his large bed, after praying that Nikki and Mateo didn't break anything while he was dozing.
ooc;; Guh! Sorry I took so long D: Nikki and Mateo can do what they like for two hours XD I'll have Azazel wake up in his next post, so go nuts! I don't mind if you guys want to have Nikki and Mateo interact for a bit, but I'll see what happens when you guys reply >w< edit: missed a few words, added them in. Sorry for the re-quote! >< #7E2217 - speaking #736F6E - thinking Currently wearing Translation - n/a..
Nikki stirred slightly when he was lifted. He opened his eyes for a moment to glance around and see what was going on, pausing when he saw a white ram in Mateo's spot. Not sure what it was doing there, Nikki sniffled the air and blinked when he realized that it was Mateo. "Fluffy..." he muttered, still half asleep. He stared at Mateo with half lidded eyes until Azazel carried him away from the car, slowly waking up as hey approached the house. The male snuggled against Azazel's chest until they got inside and he was put down. By then, he was awake enough to stand on his own. With a yawn and stretch, Nikki looked around him curiously, unsure of where they were. Was this Azazel's home? The place was already extremely luxurious. More luxurious than any other place Nikki had ever stayed at.
He glanced around with wide eyes when they walked into the spa. The place really was comfortable and already Nikki felt at home. The boy followed Azazel around the rest of the house. It was good that Azazel wrapped his arm around Nikki's shoulder, otherwise Nikki would have to catch up every now and then because he would get distracted by all the different things to see on the tour of his new home. When they made their way to the living room and kitchen, he read through the rules that were posted in each room, making sure to take note of them. It seemed Azazel was a clean freak but Nikki didn't seem to mind. He didn't like messes either.
Nikki only nodded when Azazel told him what was going on, surprised by the affectionate stroke on his chin. Nikki was too interested in the house and stunned by Azazel to talk so he just followed along obediently. He got excited about the games room and cinema. Nikki always liked to entertain himself with movies and games when he could. Usually masters only wanted him to be a cute pet so he never got the chance to do so. Eventually they got to the rooms and Nikki almost pouted when he was told that he had to pick his own room, wondering why Azazel's room had to be so far away. He hated to sleep alone.
Nikki's head shot back to Azazel when he was told that he would have to wear used clothes for today. "Is this a joke?!" he thought, scowling slightly. Nikki hated to wear old clothes unless it was for sleeping. He was about to protest but Azazel was already talking again, telling Nikki to take care of Mateo while Azazel slept. He could only nod and blink in confusion when a kiss was pressed against his head as Azazel played with his hair. After a warning, Azazel kissed Nikki again and walked away, leaving Nikki pouting at the last part. He hated to sleep alone!
Huffing, Nikki watched Azazel go and then glanced into the different rooms. They all looked the same for the most part so Nikki picked the one closest to Azazel's even though it wouldn't make a difference since he was all the way down the hallway. "I don't want to sleep alone," he murmured, still upset that Azazel had said that he wasn't allowed to go into Azazel's room. If he couldn't sleep with Azazel, he guess he would need to convince Mateo to let Nikki sleep with him at night. It wasn't that Nikki was scared of the dark or anything. It was just that he couldn't sleep by himself. When he slept, his body always got cold to save energy. Incubi weren't supposed to sleep alone. They usually slept with their meals at night. That's how they kept warm.
With a sigh, Nikki left his room after to explore the house, wondering where Mateo had gone. He wanted to find the fluffy ram! After searching the house and exploring each room that he was allowed to explore, Nikki guessed that Matao hadn't come inside with them. Either that or the house was so big that they had missed each other. So the little incubus headed outside, remembering that Azazel had talked about a garden earlier to find Mateo.

It was mortifying to be sitting in the backseat of a car, knowing that it was only a matter of time before someone noticed that he was no longer a man. Mateo’s heart beat faster and faster, anxiety starting to set in because there was no easy escape. He did his best to keep quiet, trying to sit still, but the urge to bound off was almost uncontrollable. Couple that with the embarrassment of being seen, and it was a wonder the little ram didn’t spontaneously combust. He trembled, even as the car pulled up to the gate, jumping down lower onto the floorboards of the backseat, in hopes that he would be even more hidden. Azazel seemed to find him anyways, and a dark blushed crept over the ram’s face. It was worse when Mateo heard the word “fluffy” come out. As soon as the door opened, the ram squeezed himself out of the small space between seat and door, not even waiting for the vampire to fully move the seat forward. He bolted in the direction of the garden as instructed, fully intending to make sure he was hidden until he was once more a man. He didn’t care about those he left behind. He was worried more about preserving his own self image at the moment. They’d make fun of him for it, especially that vampire. He was certain he’d never live it down. But why was he ashamed or embarrassed? He never had been before. Maybe it was because Nikki had removed some of his taint? Maybe because he was so used to being alone that he couldn’t fathom anyone else witnessing his form? Or maybe it was because he didn’t feel worthy anymore and his appearance was less than masculine when one truly sat and thought about it.
When the ram finally found himself immersed in the garden, the first thing Mateo took in was the ever present green. Greenery was everywhere, from grass to shrubberies, yet there was no overwhelming riot of color that was normally brought to mind when thinking about a garden. It was a sleek and cool design and Mateo wondered if it reflected through the rest of the house. He wouldn’t have been surprised to find chrome inlays or granite countertops and lots of sharp edges inside. But for now, he was concerned only about the outside and finding a place to hide. The bushes were so well manicured that there was really no spot for the ram to hide himself, or even enter the foreboding walls of greenery without getting hopelessly tangled and snagged in branches and leaves. The only other option seemed to be going down the paved pathways and hiding underneath the patio furniture. Maybe no one would come looking for him? After all, hadn’t Azazel said he could have as much time as he needed? Mateo shivered, shaking out his wooly coat and trotted down the paved lane, taking in the scenery of the backyard. There wasn’t much else he could do at that point, given he was trying to avoid contact with those inside the house. He couldn’t very well go inside and avoid contact. Instead, he headed over towards the trees and a shaded patch of grass, laying out and turning his golden eyes gaze towards a patch of sweet smelling grass. He was a human, as well as a ram, which of course meant that he didn’t eat just grass, or like an animal, but maybe because no one was looking for him he could have a little munch. After all, it looked rather overgrown, as if the gardeners had missed it. He was certain Azazel wouldn’t mind terribly if he just went in and took a little nibble, right?
The ram inched closer, looking about the gentle stalks before taking a bit of the sweet grass and beginning to chew it down happily. Laying upon his legs, rather than standing, Mateo gave in, allowing himself to clip some more of the grass, careful not to be destructive to the dirt or lawn around him. He wasn’t sure how the vampire would react, but Mateo was certain he wouldn’t want his landscaping disturbed because the ram couldn’t handle himself. He remained chomping softly on the grass, and rolling around in its sweet scent and thoroughly enjoying the sun without feeling weighted down by darkness. His heart felt uplifted, his mood lighter. He felt like a new person, not burdened with so much disgusting darkness. Even though the ram knew it would return, and take him in just as much capacity as it had before, he would relish the time now that he had without feeling the weight of it’s burden. He stopped momentarily to look up at the blue afternoon sky above him, his golden eyes searching for some sort of sign or sparkle to let him know there was someone else looking down on him. When nothing came but the scuttling of clouds, there was a moment of disheartened sadness, but it was quickly brushed away when the sound of footsteps came to him. They were still a ways away, but he heard the distinctive grass crushing sound of feet traipsing along the path and stiffened. Who would it be? And what would they think when they found him? Had the vampire sensed his grass being devoured by the ram in the shady corner of the garden? Mateo cringed and pushed himself into one of the hedges, snagging his wool on the snares and leaves.
Waiting desperately for the footsteps to pass, Mateo looked around, almost in a panicked state, wanting to see the newcomer before they spotted him. He couldn’t even think about changing back into a man when his heart raced the way it did, screaming at him to hide and take cover. He was certain the darkness had placed more fear in him. He used to be confident in his appearance and abilities. Now, he fled. Closing his golden eyes, frustrated with himself, he pushed out of the bushed and ran nearly smack into Nikki. Golden eyes took in the towering form of the blue-haired male and a startled “baa” came out of the ram’s mouth. Little horns curled around his face and a darker blush came to his cheeks as he looked up at Nikki, taking him in from the world below. It was intimidating, but truthfully, Mateo was concerned he may have hurt Nikki with the sharper points of his horns. He looked quickly at the blue-haired male’s legs and frowned, before feeling the urge to shift back. He moved further away, taking a second, feeling his muscles tighten and stretch. It was rather uncomfortable, but the ram became a man once more, golden eyes taking in the male before him, as he sat, clothed in a loose fitting peasant top and pants. A blush still colored his cheeks and he looked over Nikki once more. ”I’m…I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to run into you..” He pulled a few leaves form his hair and looked at Nikki’s chest, not daring to look into his eyes, fearful of what he might reveal or see within the other male. Living here would be complicated if he couldn’t ever look into anyone’ eyes, but he would play it safe until he knew he wasn’t a danger.
Nikki watched curiously on the as the fluffy ram ran into the bushes, wondering if there was something interesting in there. As he got closer, Nikki jumped slightly and gave a yelp when Mateo suddenly retreated from the bushes and hit him, knocking Nikki a step back. He blinked his blue eyes in confusion before the hearing him "baa". H's confused expression broke into a smile and he giggled, covering his mouth. He reached out, wanting to touch his fluffy fur before the ram moved away and changed back into a tall, not so fluffy, man. When Mateo sat down, Nikki followed and sat in front of him, still smiling at the other male. "It's okay, I'm fine" he replied in a light tone, watching Mateo curiously. When their eyes didn't mean, Nikki cocked his head to the side and leaned down, trying to make eye contact. Was there something wrong with his face or his hair. Nikki quickly checked his head, wondering if there was something embarrassing there, then leaned down again.
If Nikki had known that Mateo would be able to see into him from eye contact, he probably would have tried to meet Mateo's eyes anyways. Even though Nikki was an incubus and he could be a brat, he was surprisingly pure. Nikki still had the mind of a child for the most part so he didn't understand why Mateo wouldn't look at him. Was Mateo upset with Nikki for being in his way? "Did I hurt you? I'm sorry. Please don't be mad," he said suddenly, not wanting to get on Mateo's bad side. He wanted to become friends with Mateo! Especially since Azazel was so hard to get along with! That stupid old man! And he even said that Nikki wasn't allowed to go into his room to sleep. Didn't he know that incubi couldn't sleep alone? If Azazel wasn't going to let Nikki sleep with him, then Nikki would make sure Mateo would unless the two men wanted to deal with a grumpy Nikki for the rest of his stay! And no one wanted to deal with a grumpy Nikki... ever. When he was grumpy, Nikki liked to whine and complain more than usual and the more tired he was, the hungrier he got. The hungrier he got, the worse Nikki's mood got. In short, someone was going to let Nikki sleep with them at night unless they wanted to be miserable.
"Did I do something bad?" he asked, frowning and pouting.

It appeared, given Nikki’s first reaction, that Mateo had indeed done nothing wrong that would bother the blue-haired male so much. After all, bumping into one another and causing a jolt was not really a problem was it? Mateo hadn’t knocked Nikki over, and there was no blood spilled. Hell, there didn’t even appear to be a bruise or a scratch, just a startled touch that happened when they bumped into each other, but the ram still didn’t want to lift his eyes, in case any of that taint would bore into Nikki’s soul. True, the little blue-haired male had taken away some of the disgusting energy and not looked any worse for wear, but the ram couldn’t be sure. Being a creature of light, he was aware that any darkness that might spread would be infecting to all of those innocent souls around him. Even with whatever Nikki was, Mateo didn’t want to corrupt the little blue-haired male. Besides, he was certain that nay damages to Nikki would come out of his own life and flesh by the hand of their master. Mateo didn’t really want to pay that price. He was put off enough that he had been taken from that wretched slave place, and given the avenue Nikki presented to alleviate the strain of the darkness within him. However, Mateo was not so proud that he would just take such things and flee for the hills without some sort of proper exchange or retribution. He owed bother his master, and the blue-haired male much more than a simple thank you. The ram knew it would be defined by his presence and his active persona in the household. He only hoped that it would not be too difficult to keep everyone safe while he was a member of the household party.
When Nikki started speaking as if he were taking the blame for the whole incident himself, Mateo looked up, concern written on his face, as well as sadness. How he longed to be open and honest with someone, but he feared giving away the taint he bore. He couldn’t corrupt anyone. It would be against his original purpose to do such. And yet, he let his eyes linger just a bit higher, stopping at Nikki’s lips, not daring to take in even the smallest portion of the blue-haired male’s eyes into his line of vision. He was terrified what meeting those pupils would do, but he felt awful for not explaining further. After all, the ram had just come from self-imposed solitary confinement. He was not good with words of phrases, and was thrice over not as good with physical contact and how to deal with such mannerisms in a social setting. He clenched and unclenched his fists, trying to figure out the best way to respond to the whole situation. That’s when he noticed Nikki’s pout, and the ram felt even worse. Look what he had done! His silence and ineptitude at social settings was putting an even larger rift and problem into his fitting in at this master’s estate. His lips parted as he began to say something, but the words stopped in his throat. He couldn’t even manage a sound. He closed his eyes, biting his tongue for a moment before he mad his move.
Reaching out and pulling Nikki roughly forward, he looked into the blue-haired male’s eyes and frowned deeper. Mateo knew darkness would be swimming in his own orbs, but his expression turned to a certain determination. ”No….I….you….” he took a deep breath, closing his eyes and looked at Nikki once more, pain lacing his features. ”I don’t… know how to act around people… I don’t… want to give you… this darkness… I’m sorry…. I… I don’t know how to do these things…” He pulled back then and rubbed his own arms, curling off into himself. He looked toward the house and rubbed his hands over his head, moving towards the house. He looked back only for a moment for Nikki. ”Should we… head back to the house?”
Staring up at the ceiling of his room, Azazel had just had the worst nap of his life.
Arms folded behind his head, the blonde just stared at the creamy coloured paint on the ceiling, his eyes bright in the darkness. He'd been so very tired when he'd bailed on Nikki, but after nothing more than a "nanna nap" he'd found himself wide awake. He wasn't hungry, he certainly wasn't sexually frustrated, but he was slightly worried. This was the first time the man had ever gone to sleep with two strangers roaming around his house and gardens. It wasn't like he didn't trust them - they probably each had their own worries about disobeying a master or what would happen if they broke something - but it was something else.
The vampire had bought two slaves for a reason. It wasn't to satisfy some sick urges the male had, but it was surprisingly out of consideration. He wasn't always going to be awake during the day since his kind were most active at night, so how boring would it be to be stuck in a house, alone, while your master slept the daylight hours away? Of course, the selfish factor of having two lovely men in his house to satisfy both sides of his preferences - Azazel liked manly men and rather feminine ones - was the main deciding factor, but the clincher to buying two boys was simply because of what Nikki was. If the little bluebell wasn't an Incubus he might have just walked away with the one male and returned another day to the manor if the first slave became bored of being alone. The vampire might have been an utter a*****e at times, but he knew the value of company. Even if he had his reasons for sleeping alone.
Deeming it time to get out of bed, the vampire took a chance look out his window. Barely could he see down into the garden, but there was no mistaking the mop of blue hair just in his sight. Well, at least he knew where they were, that was a bonus. Shrugging, the man just grabbed some clothing and made his way to the shower in his bathroom. Wasting a few moments in the shower would be a good idea. Plus it might make him feel less grumpy. Considering the vampire was a generally grumpy person, the male knew that if he was relaxed, he was more likely to accept the two new additions to his house without much thought.
Twenty minutes later and the vampire was feeling rather relaxed. Not enough to send him back to sleep unfortunately, but enough to make him more agreeable. Even then there was probably a large list of things that Azazel wouldn't agree to, but that would be left for when if and any of those points were brought up. The one thing he really wasn't prepared to do was give a reason to why he didn't want anyone sleeping with him. He was more than happy to snuggle up with Nikki, get a bit cuddly and intimate, but having the pretty thing sleep in his bed? Yeah, that wasn't going to happen, and it would be a cold day in Hell before it did. It would be an even colder day for him to explain why.
Tugging on his chosen outfit, the vampire looked around his dark room. The blinds were permanently drawn for obvious reasons, and even the lights were quite dim. Unfortunately the rest of house would still be quite light, but thankfully free of those harmful sun rays. The vampire really did have to praise modern life for the invention of window tint; where would he be now if it didn't exist? Stepping out his room and blinking a little, it took a moment for the brilliant blue eyes to adjust to the light change before he began his trek downstairs. Was he going to find his new playthings? No, they'd come to him when they were ready, even if he desperately wanted to see how far he could push his little pure bluebell and his muscular ram. He might have bought the two to satisfy his primal urges, but it didn't mean the fun had to start the moment they got home. No, he'd let them settle into life, learn what it was like to live with him for a few days before he pounced. Stepping into the kitchen he opened the fridge and from a drawer between the vegetable crisper and another filled with cans of various pre-mixed alcoholic drinks, he pulled out a silver flask. Heading for his favourite room in his large home, the vampire unscrewed the lid and took a deep drink.
Back upstairs, Azazel was happily nestled in his home cinema. Did he think that Nikki and Mateo would find him up here? Maybe. Nikki seemed like the type that loved hugs, so if he was as cuddly as Azazel assumed, then his bluebell would definitely come a'hunting. Taking another sip from the cold flask in his hands, the vampire felt a trickle of liquid trail down his chin, a wayward drop that snuck out from the corner of his lips. Catching the thick drip with a finger, the male stared at the dark red globule that clung to his finger, his perfectly manicured nail just visible past the fingerpad. The flask did indeed contain blood, and it was female blood. The vampire made a point of never feeding from what he - or who - he slept with, and besides, the blood of a woman was much sweeter. Sure he wasn't sexually attracted to them, but if the dumb things would throw themselves at him with the cliche "oh my gawd, you're a vampire, so hawt", then who was he to say no?
Turning on the huge tv across from him, the home entertainment system whirring to life, Azazel stretched himself out with a sigh. This room was much darker than the rest of his house, and immediately the male was feeling calmer. Sure he wasn't the happiest person in the world, but at least he knew he wouldn't snap at one of his boys at the moment. Picking up a remote nearby, the man began to flick through his list of movies. Horror, thriller, comedy, event action. Settling on an old favourite of his, one he couldn't help but laugh at everytime he watched it, the man selected Dawn of the Dead. Was it a smart move to watch this kind of movie with a male that had darkness living inside of him, as well as a kindly little incubus? Probably not, but it was his house, so too bad? One arm folded behind his head, another swig was taken from the flask and Azazel sighed again. Now this was the life.
ooc;; Figured it was about time mr. grumpy-pants woke up XDD I have a future plot idea by the way... Azazel's baby brother suddenly arrives. He's a huge contrast to Azazel, and his arrival will answer a lot of questions about my mysterious vampire too ;D hehe~ what do you think ladies? #7E2217 - speaking #736F6E - thinking Currently wearing Translation - n/a..

❝ I'M TELLING YOU; I'M A REAL BOY!
LOOK! WHEN I SAY THIS, DOES MY NOSE GROW!?
NO! THEREFORE, I MUST BE TELLING THE TRUTH! ❞
Nikki watched as Mateo hesitated to look in his eyes and took a moment to speak. When the boy was suddenly pulled close, Nikki gasped and looked up at Mateo with confusion. He really didn't see anything wrong with Mateo and his pained expression worried the boy. He wasn't quite sure what to say to Mateo to make him feel better and let it go for now when Mateo asked if they should return to the house. Nikki smiled and nodded quickly. "Let's go back and find Azazel," he chirped as he took Mateo's hand and headed back into the house, leading Mateo along. Maybe he should have been giving the ram more space but Nikki wasn't quite good at that. When he wanted to touch someone, he usually went ahead and did it.
"Oh!" Nikki suddenly exclaimed, pausing to look at Mateo with a grin. "About all that silly darkness stuff, don't worry about it so much with me, okay? I mentioned before that, that sort of stuff is just food to me. It's just extra energy that you don't need. I promise that I'll help take it all away from you bit by bit, so don't think that it'll hurt me. I promise that your darkness won't hurt me. As for how to act, just do what you want. I don't like to see people so upset over little things. It pisses me off after a while, so just do what makes you happy," Nikki said, giving their hands a little swing before he headed off again to find their master. He held onto Mateo's hand tightly the whole time, seeming happy enough with the physical contact. He checked the man's bedroom, frowning when he found the bed empty. Azazel's nap hadn't been very long, had it?
Nikki explored around the house in search for Azazel, peeking into any room that he could to see if the vampire was in there. It started to get frustrating after a while. Nikki was getting hungry again but didn't want to make Mateo feed him since he'd already stolen a meal from him back at the slave shop. He huffed every now and then when they found that a room didn't have their master inside and finally he came to the home theatre, grinning when he heard noises coming from inside. The boy peeked into the room, looking at the big screen playing a movie. Someone definitely had to be in here if there was a movie playing, right?
Nikki hurried into the room and his expression lit up when he found his master sitting on the couch in front of the screen. He pulled Mateo along and sat down on the couch beside the blond vampire, finally releasing Mateo so that he could chose whether he wanted to sit beside Nikki or on the other side with Azazel. Nikki already knew what movie was playing and avoided looking at the screen to keep himself from freaking out.
"Azazel, we have nothing to do," Nikki complained, speaking for them both without thinking. "And I'm hungry again," the incubus whined, snuggling close to the vampire.

[[ Sorry for the wait! I'm so sorry about my slightly crappy post! And I like that idea smile ]]
Right now, Azazel was as close to relaxed as he could possibly be. Never truly relaxing these days, thanks to old habits and issues back in the Motherland, Azazel felt... Well, at ease was a good word to use right now. The movie had barely begun to play and already the vampire was feeling re-energised thanks to the cool flask in his hands, the almost ice cold blood flask barely a worry to the vampire - if it wasn't this cold, the blood would congeal and become horridly lumpy. Not like the blood would last long anyway; it had only been five minutes and it was all but empty. Still, the utterly hilarious movie made by humans playing on the large screen was a welcome distraction to other things - a ding of his phone indicated he'd gotten yet another email from his godforsaken brother. Ignoring it like all the others, the vampire wasn't surprised when he'd heard a door open, and smelt the sweet scent of his incubus and the more tainted scent of his ram. Azazel had thought they might have tried to find him sooner, but then again he might have slept longer than he'd originally thought.
Turning his head the smallest amount, barely showing he heard them come in, and frowned slightly when the incubus eagerly plopped himself right next to him. Yes Azazel liked the eagerness, he really did, the only downside was the very special part of Nikki that was still untouched. It confused him greatly, since the blue beauty was an incubus after all, but it just meant he'd have to tread carefully with the male - there was one sure fire way to feed Nikki in one huge go rather than just sucking out his life-force that would eliminate the need for all these snacks, but he wasn't about to do that. Not yet anyway, but his patience would only last so long. Looking over to Mateo, the ram seemed uncomfortable, and Azazel raised an eyebrow the smallest amount.
Nikki's voice brought the man's icy blue gaze back to the bluenette, and this time he fully raised an eyebrow with a bored expression. Why was the creature complaining? They had this huge house to themselves, with game rooms and libraries, and they had decided to invade his room and announce they had nothing to do? Hearing his phone vibrate again, the email tone long since turned off, the sudden snuggling made him flinch a little, the whining tone not sitting well with the vampire. If there was one thing he didn't like, it was those who whined, and those who were needy and clingy. Right now, Nikki was unfortunately portraying both traits quite well. Lifting his arm to slowly push Nikki away, his gaze hardened. "Do. Not. Vhine. Or. Cling." He spoke softly, but deliberately, making each word as important as the next. "I vill varn you vonce; I am not the sort ov person who you can cling to. I have my reasons, and I vill not say vhy. I understand being bored, but do not vhine to me about it. Vhining will get nothing out of me." Turning himself so his body language indicated he was paying more attention to them than the movie, Mateo excused himself - the vampire didn't mind, the boys were free to do what they wished in his home, and nodding to show he heard Mateo and was giving him permission to do what he wanted, his attention turned back to Nikki.
"I ask you do not cling or vhine... Please." It was clear that asking nicely was something the man wasn't accustomed to, and he even shifted uncomfortably. "If you are in need ov entertainment, and I am not asleep, you can ask to do something." His tone was much more relaxed than earlier, less cold and cutting. He sounded almost like a normal male that didn't have some kind of agenda with everyone in the world. "I vill not go out during the hours of 11am and 5pm when it is most sunny, unless it's vinter, but that is vhy I filled my house vith entertainment. You vill soon figure out vat you can do in the spare time." Attention turned to the movie for a moment, Azazel's phone let out a quiet noise - an almost silent message tone. Glaring at the device, it seemed that his brother had indeed found a new way to try and contact him, but how he'd found out that he had an IM service on his phone was beyond him. Thankfully no other beep sounded, and Azazel turned his attention back to Nikki. It was time to address this little problem of him being hungry.
"Vhat is the best way to give you a good feed?" He asked, his tone of voice lowering. Turning his head slowly, looking at his bluebell, his eyes seemed to sparkle almost dangerously. "I vill not touch your... innocence, do not vorry. But vithout boundaries, I vill do what I vant with you..." Moving more like a predator than a man (he was a vampire after all), Azazel moved himself to gently push Nikki backwards onto the couch to loom over the bluenette. Oh he looked so edible on his couch right now. A beep from his phone buzzed through his mind, but didn't stop the vampire from leaning in so he could steal some make-out time with his pretty being while he could. But another beep followed quickly, and another. Five beeps in quick succession sent the vampire leaping from the couch to grab his phone. "Ты, ублюдок! Оставь меня в покое!" Screaming at the phone, enough so that spittle was progected onto the screen, Azazel threw the Blackberry across the room where it skidded along the floor surprisingly unbroken as the vampire clutched at his hair and seemed to let out a roar of frustration. The words came from his mouth in an angry torrent, the vampire all but literally flipping tables in anger. Breathing heavily and pacing like a wounded bull, he kicked a foot-stall across the room and collapsed to his knees, punching the floor for a minute before slowly lowering his forehead to the floor. Azazel was furious, and strangely enough, upset. Why now, after all these years, did that man want to get in touch?
ooc;; I am so so so sorry this took as long as it did D: I've finally figured out what I want his brother to do, so I'll make a profile for him! Things will get more interesting from here on out... ❝ I'M TELLING YOU; I'M A REAL BOY!
LOOK! WHEN I SAY THIS, DOES MY NOSE GROW!?
NO! THEREFORE, I MUST BE TELLING THE TRUTH! ❞
Nikki frowned when he was pushed away, looking up at Azazel with confusion. How rude! The boy sat awkwardly, unsure of how to react to Azazel's rejection. A pout formed on his lips while the boy watched Azazel. He glanced at Mateo and felt his heart sink a little when he found that his friend was going to leave. And Azazel didn't seem to want Nikki here either. He glanced down, not sure what to do. Maybe he should leave too. Nikki hadn't meant for Azazel to get upset and he was a bit scared of being around the man if he was angry. He just plopped his hands in his lap and glanced at Mateo, not really wanting him to go.
His eyes flickered back up when Azazel's tone softened and the boy swallowed, listening to Azazel speak, acting quite obediently. He nodded to show he was listening and glanced towards the phone as it sounded. By the time Azazel's attention returned to Nikki, the change in his attitude surprised the incubus and he didn't have time to recover his own mischievous attitude.
The boy opened his mouth to reply to the first question. Instead he blushed when Azazel mentioned his "innocence". Nikki was a bit relieved. But at the same time slightly disappointed. He had never experienced a full meal. But the boy was little. He could deal with snacks for now. Whether he got a snack or a full meal didn't really matter anymore once he found himself pushed against the couch. The only reason why Nikki was still a virgin was because all his previous owners had been nasty as hell and the last thing Nikki wanted was to give himself away to them. He still wasn't quite sure about Azazel though. Even though Nikki was an incubus the thought of being taken by another man still seemed overwhelming to him. Since the boy was so pure when it came to sex, his previous owners had always planned to keep him that way for a little while. It just happened to be that Nikki ran away or got returned to the slave shop before he could be take .
Nikki stared up at Azazel, a smile finding it's way to Nikki's lips. "You can feed me however you like, Master," the boy purred, his arms slowly reaching up to wrap around Azazel's neck. His heart pounded even though he was used to these kinds if situations. Maybe because Azazel was the first master Nikki had that wasn't hard to look at. In fact, the man was quite the thing to look at. Who would be able to resist him? Nikki knew he probably couldn't. Especially when he was growing hungrier by the second.
He ignored the first sound from the phone, hesitating at the rest of the noises. It seemed that whoever was trying to contact Azazel needed to be replied to immediately.
Before he could get his arms around Azazel though, the man pulled away and grabbed the phone. Nikki whimpered as his master leaped off the couch, holding his arms close to his chest in a protective motion when Azazel shouted. Nikki held his breath and stared at the man, flinching violently when the vampire cried out again.
Nikki sat up slowly and pressed himself against the couch. His blue eyes widened and watched Azazel move around the room angrily. The boy wasn't sure if he should be scared or concerned. He felt both feelings. He felt the urge to go over to Azazel and comfort him but when the man began hitting and kicking things, Nikki sat glued to the couch. His breathing came in short, panicked gasps and his wide eyes began welling up. He had seen people angry before but never this furious. Since Nikki was small, he was always treated delicately. Having someone near him so angry was new to him. Nikki liked ticking people off but never to this extent.
"Master...?" Nikki finally choked out. He pealed himself off the couch and walked towards Azazel, each step cautious. As if he could blow up a land mine if he walked to quickly or stepped too hard. "... Azazel?" Nikki whispered, placing a hand on his owner's back. His movements were all hesitant. Nikki didn't want to make Azazel angrier. He really didn't.
It seemed that no matter how much the ram put off a vibe to keep these two strangers away, they would keep coming back to him. Especially Nikki. It was foreign to the ram, and it made him bristle under the edges with irritation. He was not some calm, scared little sheep, but he was battling with himself over what his morals were, he knew he shouldn’t offer any sort of hand or assistance to the corruption of either souls that found themselves around him. Nikki, while he was tinged with something darker, was a light through all df the darkness around Mateo, which proved the blue-haired boy had nothing but good intentions, and probably all of his innocence still intact. Azazel, on the other hand, the ram had yet to figure out, but he wouldn’t push to find out the man’s secrets either. He didn’t want to be overly close with the man, but it seemed that they would be stuck living in the same place, even though Mateo had told him he hadn’t wanted such things. He couldn’t very well complain now, given that he hadn’t protested when he had been brought here. He was here, and he’d have to suck it up and be a man about it. Even if all it did was serve a purpose to make him cross and push him to his limits, he would have to continue testing his limitations with the company of those who were around him. He was not a free man anymore, and the sooner her accepted it, the better things would be. He just didn’t know if he would ever be able to bow his head in submission again. Not with the taint that he carried in his body that made him so volatile. It wasn’t really his fault after all…or was it?
He was surprised when he felt a hand take his own, and turned his attention to Nikki as the blue-haired male said they would go look for Azazel. Apprehension crept into Mateo’s features, but he tried to make it seem like he was calm. Nikki seemed to want to be around people at all times, which was rather beneficial for his own being, but not for Mateo’s. Every instant that he was around someone new, it was a battle. To taint the person, or to take on more taint himself. He cursed himself everyday for letting his curiosity beat him the first time, but he did not want to let it happen in such a way again. When Nikki spoke again him that h was going to eat away the darkness Mateo held, the ram couldn’t help but smile. This innocent little soul wanted to take away everything that plagued him. It was the first bit of true kindness that the ram had seen since taking on the taint on this earth. Besides, Nikki became so riled up and determined that it would have been impossible to brush him away and ignore him. It was as if he turned on lights all around him, sending a beacon of good through the world, and the ram just couldn’t ignore that about this little Blue-haired boy. It was then that Mateo decided he would stay and make the best out of these situations, even if only for this little blue-haired incubus. Maybe that had been the plan after all? That he would find this little incubus and see the good in him, and realize that all his suffering would be okay, because it would suit a higher purpose. Mateo didn’t know, and he really didn’t understand, but if fate and the heavens had dealt him a path, he was going to walk it.
They began searching rooms, looking, undoubtedly for their “master”, the blonde haired male. Mateo tried to remain as calm as he could as they continue to search room after room, finding them all empty. It was starting to drain him, and he was starting to get irritated. Tat taint seeping into his skin, making his blood boil just a little. He was about to give up such a foolish venture when they actually found the blonde male, sitting on a couch in front of a large screen. Nikki dragged him along, and then the blue-haired male curled up on the couch next to the man. Mateo kept his distance, moving from the couch and leaning against the wall, watching the two. When Nikki complained about being bored, Mateo’s eyes flickered with amusement, though his face did not. The ram gave a though to how old the incubus actually was. Nikki seemed to be no more than a child, constantly bored with the thing she was doing at the time. I would be a handful to keep him busy and occupied all the time. Especially if his energy was unfailing as it seemed to be so far. When the vampire turned around and chided Nikki for whining at him and clinging, Mateo lost interest. He didn’t want to see the relationship unfold between these two, especially since it had been made perfectly clear that the blue-haired male was solely the property of the vampire. He watched only a few more moments before leaving the room, not even bothering to mention it. He was certain that the vampire and the incubus would be much more occupied with one another than with him.
Closing his eyes, he departed the room, only to linger in the halls around the theatre-like room. He wasn’t sure where he would go. He just didn’t want to occupy the other two when he was so uncomfortable with their intimacy. He wasn’t sure that he wanted intimacy like that with anyone, but he surely wasn’t going to interrupt while they had their moments. He knew what happened with animals and territory, and humans… well, no one was human in this house it seemed, so there would be no point in making a comparison to humans when animal instincts seemed to run more primitively within the blood of the occupants. Mateo shook his head, looking at the décor of the house, trying to find something to distract him from the nothingnes that was eating at him. Maybe he should have stayed. He could have at least tried to watch the movie instead of walking around doing nothing like a lost child. He looked about, at the ceiling, at the floors, doubling back, wondering what lay at the other end of the hall. Perhaps nothing, but walking would give him seomthing to do.
It seemed only seconds after that he heard a crash and shouting. The ram frowned deeply and rushed back towards the room. Had the vampire hurt the little blue-haired incubus? Had Nikki finally made Azazel crack with rage? The ram didn’t know, but he didn’t want the little blue-haired boy hurt. He burst into the room, seeing a cracked foot-stool and an angry vampire. Nikki had his hand on Azazel’s back and was asking the vampire not to be angry. Mateo strode forward, and gingerly took Nikki’s wrist, pulling him back gently enough that the incubus could refuse if he wanted, but Mateo kept his face blank, showing him that he meant no harm. Truly, he just wanted to protect the little incubus. If the vampire did snap, then Mateo figured it should be on him, who would be able to fight back against the vampire if he really had to. Golden eyes flicked to the vampire and the phone scattered across the room, along with the dislodged foot stool. There was turmoil here. Mateo could feel it. Discordant feelings seemed to race off the vampire and Mateo frowned, offering his hand to the vampire, putting his body between the vampire and Nikki. He didn’t speak, but kept his eyes trained on the vampire, waiting for him to accept the help and get up, or lash out, or do something. He didn’t understand why the vampire was curled up and fuming, but he was sure he would find out eventually.

❝ I'M TELLING YOU; I'M A REAL BOY!
LOOK! WHEN I SAY THIS, DOES MY NOSE GROW!?
NO! THEREFORE, I MUST BE TELLING THE TRUTH! ❞
Nikki's hand trembled as he gave Azezel's shoulder a tiny squeeze, wanting his master to go back to normal. He opened his mouth to try and comfort the vampire but all that came out was a gasp when his wrist was grabbed and gently pulled away from Azazel. Nikki jumped slightly, looking up at Mateo in surprise, his mouth hanging open in a shocked little "o". He hadn't heard him coming in and he was still startled from Azazel's outburst. The boy wasn't sure what to do. He wanted to help Azazel but at the same time he was scared of the vampire. He let Mateo pull him back, watching Mateo and his master. His hand still hovered in the air and when the ram stepped in front of him, Nikki ended up grasping Mateo shirt, not wanting the ram to leave. He wanted to flee the room and get away from the angry vampire but at the same time Nikki wanted to stay and help his master. Although Mateo's presence made Nikki feel better, the tension still buzzing in the air made the boy extremely uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry..." he breathed out, Nikki's voice nearly inaudible. He felt like he was responsible for Azazel's angry state even though he knew he wasn't. He wasn't quite sure what he was apologizing. Maybe he was apologizing because he wasn't capable of making Azazel feel better. Or because now Mateo was here. If someone got hurt, Nikki didn't want Mateo to get hurt. With a defeated whimper, he hid himself behind Mateo, peeking out to look at Azazel. He couldn't help but feel a little useless in this situation.
Nikki glanced over at the phone that had skidded away, wondering who exactly was trying to contact Azazel and what they wanted. He had no clue what Azazel had screamed other than that one curse but he was sure it was directed towards whoever was messaging Azazel. At least, the boy hoped so. After a moment that felt like forever, Nikki decided that he couldn't see his master like this. He clung to Mateo's shirt from behind with both hands, pressing his forehead against the ram's back. Surely after seeing the vampire's outburst, Nikki was going to be avoiding the vampire and clinging to Mateo for a while. At least, until he wasn't scared shitless of Azazel.
The vampire tensed. He had heard the hesitant footsteps come closer, and had wished the boy wouldn't. Yet, a part of his cold, dead heart wished that the boy wouldn't be afraid of him and would approach. And there it was, the hesitant hand on his back, and a ripple ran through the vampire. His body tensed for a second, but not in a dangerous way, it was like he wasn't used to such kind contact. A second set of footsteps vibrated through his ears and Azazel felt his body slacken - Mateo had arrived. His footsteps, unlike Nikki's, were determined and strong and he could smell the unsure feelings in the ram's blood. Likewise, he could smell the worry and fear that soon radiated off Nikki as he was most likely pulled out of range of danger, the bluenette's racing heart almost pounding in Azazel's ears. He felt weak, and for the first time in a long time, scared and alone. While he physically wasn't alone, he still felt it; they didn't trust him, and what right did they have to trust him so soon? If he was trying to get in contact, what kind of hell had his life delved into these days? He'd seen the kind of strife Russia was in, had it all been his doing?
Realising that he hadn't moved since Mateo offered him a helping hand, Azazel slowly uncurled himself to show the two he wasn't going to lash out. Shutting his eyes, he let out a long, weary breath and placed his eerily cold hand into Mateos. "спасибо... Thank you..." He croaked out hoarsely, letting down his wall for a moment. If that man was getting closer, he had to attempt to show the two males that he was the good guy. He was the one they had to trust, that he was the one that would protect them. While he had his reasons for being a misogynistic hard-a**, and an utterly cruel man, Azazel wasn't sure he could totally let his walls down yet, but he had to attempt. Standing on shaky legs, the vampire fell against Mateo, clinging to the ram; the flask of blood clearly hadn't been more than a quick energy fix, almost like a sugar hit and the rush had been spent on the angry outburst. "Couch, please." He managed to murmur to Mateo, and upon feeling the soft article underneath him, he leaned back with a groan, beckoning Nikki over. His bluebell was an odd source of comfort.
Clearing his throat, he indicated for Mateo to sit, anywhere was good, anywhere the ram felt comfortable. When Nikki eventually came over, he gently grabbed the male's wrist and equally as gently, pulled him onto the couch and into an embrace. "Sorry I scared you, bluebell." He murmured into the mop of blue hair, planting a kiss on the crown of the smaller males head. The actions were clearly not part of Azazel's usual personality, and as much as he realised he was probably making the two males uncomfortable, he just didn't feel right being alone right now. Instead, some more unusual actions from Azazel emerged - him opening up. "I need to tell you two... something important." Leaning forward to rub his forehead, an arm still around Nikki, the vampire kept his icy blue gaze to his feet, his mop of blonde hair hiding his face.
"Ze reason I vas yelling.. My brother, he is.. A bad man. He has been messaging me for ze past few veeks, cryptic messages. I thought he vas just being the cruel man he is, until just before. He sent me a picture... Of a place not far from here. He said a family catch up is long overdue." Taking in a deep breath and shaking his head, Azazel leaned back once again, fingers playing with Nikki's hair. "If I vas alone, I vouldn't give two shits about ze message. But vith you two here... I vorry." Voice dropping and face becoming grave, his bright blue eyes gave away just how uncomfortable he was at admitting this simple thing, even if his body indicated he was indeed worried. "My brother vill use you, Mateo, for nothing but evil. Nikki would be his... Pet." Spitting out the word 'pet', it was clear what the man meant, and his eyes seemed to flicker just a little. It was almost contrary of Azazel to be repulsed at the idea of using someone for nothing but sexual pleasure when he did it so often himself, but - as the vampire rationalised quickly in his head - at least he respected the men he slept with, and didn't treat them like animals. In fact, he never really had one night stands, the idea of sleeping with meaningless men just wasn't something he did. Sure the odd one slipped in the rotation, but it wasn't for lack of trying to find a consistent sexual partner.
"If you see a man vith dark hair and red eyes on zis property; do NOT approach him. He vill most likely appear while I sleep, but I cannot be sure. No-von else vould dare step foot on this land, mainly because of ze gate. Just promise me zat if you see any-von on zis propert you tell me straight avay. I don't care if I'm asleep, I vill not let him spread his evil any more." Hitting the couch next to him on the opposite side to where Nikki was, his hair flopped about a little wildly. Letting go of Nikki, Azazel struggled to his feet and stretched himself out a little; he needed a good feed, and that was located in his supply fridge. Without a word, he excused himself and made a beeline for the kitchen, almost tripping over his own feet going downstairs. It wasn't until five minutes later and he'd rapidly drained a large bloodbag in record time that he realised exactly how he'd acted. Gadriel had inadvertently made him bend to his twisted will again, and caused him to reveal that he isn't a totally closed-off, cruel person all the time. Gadriel was still somehow, in control. He'd also completely forgotten to tell Mateo and Nikki his brother's name, but the chance of him showing up and actually being honest about who he was was as likely as Azazel falling in love with a woman and settling down to start a family - a fat chance in hell. Leaning against the kitchen counter top, bag long disposed of, arms crossed over his chest, Azazel was deep in thought. Did he fall for his brother's ploy? Or bluff his way through the entire thing and hope to heaven and hell that the picture was just off the internet?
