When you first appear in Mari's little world, the area is a endless green field of hills that is empty except for a large house that sits in plain view. Only the house is visible. Mari has the power to change the appearance of the house so that it matches her tastes but for now, she settles for a modern, american sort of home. Once you step into the foyer, the house seems to get bigger and the world outside changes to match what Mari wants to see. One day it might be green, rolling hills outside the window and another day you could be seeing Tokyo.
On the first floor is the living room and next to it is the eating area and kitchen. Downstairs she has her own home theatre.
On the second floor is the master bedroom along with many smaller guest bedrooms. There is access to a balcony from Mari's bedroom. The view on the balcony is usually Mari's backyard but it constantly changes. You can't see the backyard of the house from the outside but when you are inside, it can be seen from Mari's balcony. The backyard has a japanese style garden pond. The garden and pond disappear and appear depending on what Mari wants. Usually when the view outside the windows of the house is changed to the area that she is traveling in, so will the backyard.

Mari smiled at Fleur, happy to hear that the girl would be willing to go home with Mari. She was excited to hear that Fleur liked to travel and when Fleur asked if she would be good enough for Mari, the blond girl grinned and nodded her head. "You're perfect, Fleur," Mari purred, her blue eyes lighting up. Mari took a moment to reach into her jacket and dig around until she found a roll of cash. Tossing it to the guard, Mari smiled at the man. "I'll have to apologize, I was just up north so the money might be in the wrong currency but it's more than enough for Fleur," Mari said before she turned back to look at Fleur.
"Alright then! Let's head home," Mari said, taking Fleur's hands in her own. "Right, I haven't mentioned how exactly I travel. You're about to find out. Just make sure you hold my hand nice and tight so that when you arrive home in one piece." Mari paused for a moment to see how Fleur might react before winking and adding, "Just kidding."
With that, she concentrated and her blue eyes turned into a shining gold colour. Golden dust appeared around them and the reflection of a grassy field with a house sitting in the middle seemed to reflect in her eyes. The golden dust became denser until it was thick enough that only Fleur and Mari should be able to see each other. It surrounded the two and suddenly a soft “poof” could be heard. Their surroundings seemed to disappear and for a moment they were floating in mid air. One moment they had been sitting on the bed in the slave shop and now they were sitting in a field of tall grass.
Mari blinked her eyes black to their bright blue colour as the dust disappeared and revealed what had been reflected in Mari’s golden eyes just a moment ago; a endless field of lushly grassy hills and not too far form then, a big house.
Once Mari’s eyes returned to normal she blinked and look around. "It seems we have arrived," Mari said, smiling apologetically at Fleur. “I hope that wasn’t a traumatizing experience or anything because that’s how I get around," Mari told Fleur as she stood and released Fleur’s hands. “Shall we go inside?" the girl asked, tucking her hair behind her ear. She danced her way to the house, constantly looking at her pretty, new friend. “This is my own little world. I made it all by myself! I haven’t brought anyone here in a very long time! It’s nice to have company for once!" Mari sang as she opened the door to her house.
The inside seemed much larger than it had outside. And that was, in fact, larger. Once they two were inside, Mari closed the door behind her. The green fields that were outside the windows a moment ago melted into sheets of ice and show.
“I was just in Greenland. The view out of the windows of the house is usually the place I’m currently visiting as you can see. My world isn’t considered real to others although it’s very real to me. I can make it into anything I please. It’s all so confusing to others it seems so I’ll explain a little slower," Mari said, watching Fleur careful to make sure she wasn’t getting confused.
“Since I’m always traveling, I don’t have time to settle down into a permanent home. This place isn’t exactly on Earth, I guess. If I take everything away, we’re sitting in a random spot in the universe. So I made this place to look nice and… Human. Do you like it? If you don’t I’ll change it just for you," Mari purred.

 Fleur let out a deep, please grumble when the girl praised her. Although, it wasn't necessarily for the praise itself-- more the fact that she would be able to leave, and on her first day! A small, smug smirk settled on her lips as her eyes turned towards the guard, who was mid catch with the cash that Mari had tossed him. Her nose wrinkled at him, her eyes sliding back to Mari when she turned to her.
Time to go ' home '. Well, it would have to be home if she liked it or not-- but,she could dash off into the night. With this collar though, she'd be caught in no time. Maybe her new caretaker would be willing to change into something more comfortable and less.. constricting.
Fleur blinked a few times, having been pulled from her thoughts when Mari took her hands in her's. Her head cocked to the side in surprise, and those big lilac eyes peered towards the girl in question. Her eyes seemed to widen a little at the mention of arriving home in one piece, her grip even tightened. However, that was short lived when the wink and the ' Just kidding ' left Mari.
Fleur's response? A grunt and a wrinkle of her button nose.X

The whole thing was very flash, from the eye changing, to the dust, and add to the fact that they teleported Fleur only knew less than a handful of people who could pull such a thing off, especially with it involved multiple people.
One of them happened to be her eldest sister.
A slight frown tugged at her lips, however, it was quickly dashed away by the sights that greeted them at the destination. Lush, green grass, an open field-- oh god the wind. Fleur purred beautifully as her eyes greedily took in her surroundings. They were in the middle of nowhere-- nowhere! Finally, her eyes landed on the house and she seemed to hesitate a little. It was all too good to be true, a girl who loved to travel, who lives out in the middle of no where?
Girl had to be mad or somethin'.
“ Don't worry, sweetie, ain't nothin' I haven't seen before. Haven't ever gotten da' chance to go through it, real rush, yanno?”
Fleur's fingers wiggled and her hands flexed when Mari released them, a soft smile settled on the ex-guardian's face.
“ Inside is fine, Little Miss, please, go ahead. “
Fleur waited until Mari turned before she stretched her arms high above her head, and then dropped nearly onto all fours. With the grass so tall, it hid all but those wide, curling horns and her mop of curly, snowy hair. Nose snapped to the ground, in behavior that was more dog like, than that relating to a cute little sheep.
Despite her distractions, however, her feet pushed her to follow behind the girl. She seemed unconcerned about actually obeying Mari. After all, the girl had been sweet, and seemed as though she'd make a very good host-- what was the harm? From time to time, she'd meet Mari's gaze when she peeked back at her. And although Fleur was all there, she seemed a little, off. However, it was difficult to tell if she was simply distracted or actually off.
When the front door opened, Fleur pulled herself upright, dusting off her hands as she followed after Mari into the house. Her eyes immediately went to their surroundings, taking in the change of architecture and how... grand everything seemed. Even the place at home, while beautiful, still felt and looked like nature. This was so very, very different, but still beautiful none the less. She blinked, briefly, when the scenery outside changed, but didn't question, instead her eyes returned to Mari to give her the full attention she deserved.
The explanation of the house didn't really seem to phase the girl, instead, she listened carefully and politely to what she had to say. Kinda' reminded her of the Fae, slidin' in between worlds as they please, tricky ********.
“ Sounds real close to how da' faries back home were. Slipppin' in and out between worlds, causin' trouble and leavin' presents. Real odd bunch, fascinatin' though. Didn't know anybody back home who could do it who wasn't a Fae. It's real tricky magic-- real dangerous too. “
Her hands raised from her sides only to settle on the small swell of her narrow hips. Once more, she took a moment to look around while Mari continued. Her reasoning made sense, most nomads took their homes with 'em, this seemed like a much better solution. She did raise an eyebrow in surprise when the girl offered to change something to please her, her eyes snapping back to the girl.
“ Little Miss, you ain't gotta' worry 'bout that one bit. If I got places ta' roam, and a warm place ta' sleep, I'm right as rain. Up ta' you what it looks like and where I sleep. You won't be getting' complaints from me. “

Mari giggled softly at Fleur's comments, loving the way her new friend spoke. It was quite charming, actually. Fleur was quite different from the people Mari had met through out her lifetime but that's what she seemed to like about Fleur the most, so far. "I'm really happy you're okay with the place," Mari said, smiling as she took Fleur's hand again. "Come on, I'll show you around," Mari added as she skipped her way through the foyer and showed Mari the first floor to start off.
She took Fleur though the bright living room. "I don't really mind what you do in the house as long as the house stays in one piece," Mari explained. The living room was full of little nik-naks from all over the planet and even grand pieces of art. One would notice that the rest of the house was decorated in the same fashion as they moved through the mansion. "Basically, anything that's mine is yours as well. So go ahead and have fun, okay? If you need help with anything just call me over and I'll be there with a flash of gold dust," Mari explained, smiling at Fleur the whole time. It was about now that Fleur should notice how much Mari loved to talk if she hadn't already.
Next up was the kitchen and eating area. "Usually when I'm at home and not travelling, I'll cook for myself but I always enjoy cooking for others as well! Just tell me if there's anything you don't eat and I'll make sure to keep it in mind when I'm making food... I'm a great cook," Mari said with a wink. "Feel free to stop by the kitchen and grab a bite whenever you like. Don't worry about making a mess because I can clean it up in a jiffy." After the kitchen, Mari took Fleur down to the home theatre and explained how it worked. Mari wasn't always the greatest with technology so the home theatre wasn't too hard to operate.
"Alright then. Now that we've gone through all the boring stuff I want to show you my room! You can share with me, if you would like. I hate to sleep alone, to tell the truth, so I would love if you shared my room with me but I can prepare another room for you if you prefer that," Mari said as she lead them up to her bedroom. "I think the best thing about my bedroom is the balcony. I can see whatever I like... But since you haven't seen my garden before, I'll show it to you," Mari said. She opened the balcony doors and shivered at the chilly winds. She waved her hand at the wind and the snow and ice began to melt right away, revealing a large japanese style garden and pond. Both the garden and pond were huge. The garden seemed to extent for quite a bit and eventually it faded back into lush, grassy hills. "How do you like it?" Mari asked, looking back to Fleur with a happy grin.

“ I'd be a real stupid b***h to be hatin' on my new home. Ain't even spent a night in it yet.”
Fleur offered a soft smile to the girl, even giving a tiny nod when she mentioned that she would be showing her around the house. She followed quietly behind, eyes wandering over the new architecture and sights that the home had to offer.
“ Ta' be honest witcha' ma'am, I'd rather be outside, than in. Hell, if ya' let me, I'll even sleep out there.”
She continued to follow quietly behind Mari, much like a new puppy would, still more curious about her new surroundings, than her Mistress. Well, she was more interested in the house, for now. Soon she'd have her fill, and move onto this new caretaker.. perhaps companion?
To be honest, she wasn't sure what Mari wanted with her. Was all she wanted was a travel companion, or did the girl herself not know yet?
“ I don't eat a whole lot, so you don't gotta' worry 'bout that aspect, don't wanna' cause you too much trouble. I'd hate for you to dirty dishes for me, I ain't worth the effort ma'am. “

The theater was probably the strangest part of the house for Fleur. Technology wasn't her strong suit, never has, and probably never would be. She had little interest in it, and while it did make life easier, and offer a new way to look at culture, she never held much stock in investing her time, and effort, into actually learning.
So, while she did listen, the information wasn't truly process. Simply filed away, possibly to never be looked at again.
Fleur's head tilted ever so slightly at the offer to share her room. She was mildy surprised at the offer, but more surprised that it was her choice and not an order. Then again, she hadn't heard this girl give a single order since they'd been together.
Not that it had been long, mind you.
“ Ma'am, like I said 'fore, it's really up ta' you. Your house, your rules and all that. Don't wanna' be an imposin' guest or nothin'. “
She followed after Mari just as she had through the rest of the house, just a couple steps behind with eyes roaming and ears listening. Fleur seemed to perk up though at the mention of the balcony. She trotted after her almost a little too happy out onto the balcony. She seemed far more interested in the sights beneath the snow and ice, than the fact that the girl waved her hand and melted that s**t.
Wide, excited, lilac eyes turned towards Mari, and a grin set on her face.
“ Like it? Ma'am, there's just enough room to cause you all kinds of havoc. “

Mari smiled, happy to hear that Fleur liked the house and took into account her comments on preferring to be outside and not wanting to cause trouble. Mari was glad Fleur didn't want to be trouble. She was sure she would enjoy having Fleur around to keep her company. It would definitely by fun to travel around with Fleur and maybe if Fleur stick around enough, Mari would for Fleur to be her companion as well!
"You said you like it outside though, right? There's lots of space in the garden. I have a habit of making the view outside the house wherever I'm visiting as you had just send. How about this?" Mari thought for a moment and then pointed to the right and left railings of the balcony. They turned into stairs that curved down into the garden and pond. "Whenever you want to go back to the garden and such, just walk down the stairs and it'll return to the backyard. That way when we've got New York or wherever outside my bedroom, you can turn it back into the garden whenever you like. If you want to sleep out in the garden or even out in front of the house in the green fields, you're free to do so but my bedroom is always open for you to share," Mari said, hoping she wasn't saying things that didn't make sense.
"Oh! And clothes and such! We're exactly the same height and such! So clothes shouldn't be a problem.Half my closet it full of clothes and shoes I had bought while traveling and never gotten around to wearing. I have an old habit of buying things I don't really need," Mari said as he showed Fleur the large walk in closet. Half the clothes and shoes really had never been worn before. There were still clothes that had the tags on them and shoes that sat in their boxes. "If you see clothes you like that are on my side of the closet feel free to wear them, if you don't mind sharing. Same goes for shoes... And that's about it! I think I've explained mostly everything inside the house. Now, should we go out to the garden and pond?" Mari asked.
"All of this might be a little overwhelming but as soon as you're ready, we can hit the road and do some traveling. Usually, I'd just poof myself over to the place I want to travel to and then stay in a hotel or something at wherever I'm traveling. But ever now and then I'll spend the night in my home with the view of my vacation site just outside my balcony. Even though I'm at home, it feels like I'm still out traveling! So I never get home sick, Mari said with a smile. "But if you ever want, we can do road trips, take the plane to our travel destination like normal people. That's always fun too. Road trips are always fun with friends," Mari said.

taesty chicken God, sorry this took so long D:
Fleur seemed to grow antsy, even a tad fidgety the longer she stared outside without actually going anywhere. The fidgeting however, didn't really distract her from what her new mistress was saying. So, she'd get to stay outside, which was pretty darn awesome. Here she thought she'd be stuck as some little house pet, made to sit on a pillow and be cute for a child's entertainment.
From time to time, Fleur would nod, showing not only that she was listening, but she understood what Mari was saying-- still overdelighted in the fact that she would get to sleep outside. Just like home-- well... sorta' close to being like home.
..Did this girl know how to breathe..?
Fleur raised an eyebrow at Mari as she finished one subject, and simply bounced to the next. It seemed like she could go on, and on... and on... and ooooooooooooon. One of Fleur's eyebrows seemed to twitch, ever so slightly, while she listened. Fleur wasn't interested in wearing clothing-- not that she thought she could get away with it. But, still, she quietly padded after the girl so she could be shown the closet.
Honestly, how much longer could this take?

For Mari's sake, the guardian made sure to peek her head in, and take a moment to look around. Her clothing was real pretty, and Fleur was sure, very expensive, but like at home, Fleur didn't really like to wear much of anything. Made her feel more.. at one with nature, and all that silliness.
" Ta' be perfectly honest with ya' ma'am, it's real sweet of ya' to offer to share ya' stuff with me, but I don't really like wearin' this stuff-- "
Fleur paused, only briefly, to tug at the loose shirt she wore.
" I mean, it's real comfy and all, but, I kinda' like wearin' as little as possible-- doesn't get in the way, yanno'? As for goin' outside, yeah, that'd be real nice, Miss. I'm real tempted to take a nap, long day, yanno? "
It seemed though, that just after she got done speaking, Mari was at it once more. The whole process was more annoying than overwhelming. The girl was cute, and by the way she acted, excitable. While one quality Fleur was used to dealing with, the other? Not so much. Still, the girl tried her best to keep up, and keep a reign on her temper. All this moving around and talkin' was making it shorter and shorter, unfortunately for poor Mari.
" So... about going outside...?"
It may have been rude, but for the moment, Fleur wasn't concerned about that. She had sorta' well, ignored the whole road tripping thing. While she did listen, and understand what would be, or could be going on, she wasn't interested in addressing it currently. Mari had certainly said, and given her enough information to process for a good couple of hours, and well, Fleur's brain wasn't the quickest, she needed time to think things over when they weren't concernin' anything that involved instinct.

Mari smiled and nodded when Fleur mentioned that she didn't like to wear clothes. That didn't matter much to Mari as long as Fleur at least covered up if they ever headed outside for the sake of herself and others as well. Hearing Fleur say that she was tired, Mari nodded again. She understood and didn't want to rush Fleur all over the place on her first day out of the slave shop and with Mari.
"Let's head outside then. If you're tired you can take a nap wherever you want whether it's inside the house to out. It doesn't matter to me," Mari explained as she walked down the stairs into the garden. She hadn't noticed how much she had been talking and if she realized how bored Fleur had gotten listening to her, Mari would have talked a little less. She couldn't help it though. The girl loved to chat and she was too excited about having someone to live with her to keep herself from rambling on an on. She wanted to get all the explaining about the house done with so that Fleur and Mari could be free to whatever once Fleur at least knew her way around the house.
The two of them headed down to the garden where the air smelled sweet from all the different flowers and plants Mari had. Sure, Mari could make whatever she wanted pop up and go away but when she had nothing to do she tended to her garden, adding plants she had gotten from different parts of the world and making sure everything looked okay.
Mari glanced over at her new friend and smiled, swinging her hands as they walked through the garden for a moment. Finally, Mari sat them down on one of the benches by the pond. She didn't want to make Fleur walk over every square inch of the place. They'd done enough walking around while they were inside the house and Fleur was already ready for a nap. Mari didn't want to wear her out. She wanted Fleur to be comfortable.
"I'm so glad I'll have you to keep me some company," Mari sighed, releasing Fleur's hand and patting it gently. "Feel free to walk around. I'm going to sit here for a little bit unless you want me to follow. I'll probably take a nap too when you take one, Mari added. She would probably end up following Fleur around if the other girl walked around and take a nap with her if she napped. Mari was fond of sleeping with a warm body beside her.
