Rosetta had decided to go to Lake Amafl one sunny afternoon for a picnic and to gather some inspiration from nature. She packed several rolls, some jam, two cookies, and a small jug of iced tea into the tiny wicker picnic basket. She flew through the gold and green forest, life bursting forth from every inch of the fertile soil. The new blades of grass waved hello in a warm spring breeze, pulling at Rosetta’s red curls. She chose a nice spot in the shade on the shore of the lake to finish the small picnic that she had brought.
Once the rolls and jam were gone, the jug of iced tea was empty, and the crumbs left from the cookies were scattered for the birds to fill up on, Rosetta removed her silver boots and dipped her toes into the serene lake. Little minnows nibbled at her toes and made her giggle, wiggling them to scare them off. She waded around in the cool, calm water before carefully drying her feet and legs off and returning her shoes back onto her feet. She unrolled a thin blanket that she had wrapped her wand in and took a little nap.
Rosetta woke several hours later and deduced that it was around four in the afternoon judging by the angle of the sun on the horizon. She carefully cleaned out the containers she used to hold food in and returned everything into her basket. She was all set to return to her little cottage when she felt a sharp sting slice across her upper leg that her boots didn’t cover.
“Ouch!” she squeaked, more in surprise than in pain. She turned around and her eyes grew wider. Standing before her was a green Ysali dragon.
Too late she realized that it was the one who had attacked her. Slowly and non-threateningly Rosetta removed her wand from the picnic basket. The dragon screeched at her and threw more sharp green leaves at her. Squeaking in surprise, Rosetta jumped into the air and managed to avoid its attack. Worried that more dragons would be attracted to the shrieking one, the small Orderite quickly fled in the direction of her cottage.
