After choosing which Demon bests suits your character come here for approval. The only reason we incorporate these approvals is to be sure the user actually knows what is going on. We want you to show the strengths, passives, weaknesses, drawbacks, bonuses, and so forth. This does not mean you need to use every single technique that may be available but let us know you understand the demon. Use the code below to apply. After posting, do not harass whichever mod is on duty to approve it. If they do not get to it within a day then and only then may you PM the mod in charge of this thread asking politely for them to check your application.

UpDaTe - Listen up broskis, this just in. If you are denied for a demon, then you can't apply for it again. Also, even though it seems redundant to say again, you have to specifically show off that demons have weaknesses, no matter how pointless or defeating they may be.

RPC Name: Millicent Kenshiki.
Class: Enhanced Fighter Class.
Clan: N/A.
Demon Applying For: Isobu, Sanbi. The Three Tails.
Link to DEmon: Isobu, Sanbi

Roleplay Sample:
In an instant the sky darkened, sun blocked out by the blackest of clouds. From these clouds expelled a heavy rain that brought about a feeling of depression to anyone caught inside. But no one had time to shiver the feeling, for danger was upon the innocent in the form of a mighty and powerful roar. Shock waves formed from the sea flooding outward bringing forth a tidal wave. The closest village, small and unknown, fell victim to the rushing waters causing many to drown. Could no one stop the unfolding horror? Those with power could only watch on as before them raged an out of control host, the demon inside taking over. In the middle of a large lake she stood, body covered in a marsh coloured aura. Her eyes burned red as they stared out into oblivion. In slow motion the aura began to change it's form as a single tail began to develop. The young girls power just as slowly beginning to build in pressure, marking the start of more devastation. Those who could move fired off their attacks, but the effort was null. All jutsu's and projectiles were disabled by the out of control host summoning a whirling wave of water to defend. Reinforcements were summoned forth, but it would take time before they arrived. The ones present could only hope they could fend off long enough for the mightier to arrive.

Within her mind another war waged on, this one much different then the one outside. This was one between a young girl and a large turtle like creature. The girl would only watch the creature lash out within it's cage, the bars cracking with every beat. The girl found herself unable to move, unable to speak. She couldn't stop herself from falling deeper into the water beneath her as she lay. Tears welled in her eyes, she was scared and didn't know what to do. How could she stop what was happening, how could she control such a large and terrifying monster. Why did she have to be the vessel of a demon. All her doubts caused her to sink faster into the waters. Her able to control and conceal fading out. The Sanbi's Chakra leaked out more and more, the body outside her mind giving form to another tail. The young girls body changing. The sound of painful growls and howls echoed in her mind as the creature before her trapped fought harder for freedom. Hope felt lost and thinking to herself the girl cried "I don't want to die.." It was at the point something other then the beast before her caught her attention. It was faint, but slowly began to get louder. The sound was familiar, enchanting. Slowly she could begin to make out the sound. "Millicent!" Louder it got as again it was called, "Millicent!" The girl knew who had spoken that name, her name, "MILLICENT!!"

That was just what she needed. Someone to break through and shove in her face a reason to never give up. His voice rang, a dear friend. Then came the others, they were all calling for her. For her to wake up and take back control. A feet much easier said then done. With all her strength she willed herself to move. First she started with her head raising it forward and out of the water. It was heavy, but she dared not to falter back. She then moved on to her right arm as she forced it out of the water while right after she did the same with her left arm. Both slowly exited from the pool. Lastly she lifted herself up on her feet. Never had her body ever felt so heavy. It was as if someone had chained blocks of cement to her. But she couldn't give up, not with her friends pushing at her back, willing her. She would not let them done. Staring forward Millicent eyed the beast, watching it thrash around as it's chakra leaked from the bottom of the cage it was trapped in. Was she still scared, yes. Millicent still feared this beast but for now she would push that fear to the back of her mind and for once in her life face this demon head on. It started with a single step forward, then another, and another. Sooner then she knew it she was at the cage standing face to face with the creature. It had taken notice of her approach and had stopped moving. It's single opened eyes glaring at her.

Outside things had seemed to calm, the out of control host's body had stopped moving, all techniques used halted in a state of suspended animation. Everyone wondered as to what had happened, was this good or bad? The only current option was to wait and see what would happen.

Returning inside the girls mind she continued to stare down the beast, the beast itself become angered by this. It roared towards her causing the water at her feet to flush back, the sheer force pushing her back. Millicent raised her arms to defend her face by pure instinct. Though she much preferred to of covered her ears. Damn how loud that was. Once the creature was done, Millicent lowered her arms and yelled as loud as she could towards the Sanbi, "I will not let you!" As a reaction the Sanbi only grumbled. Millicent continued, "I will not let you take over. I will not let you continue to hurt my friends." She wanted to cry, but with all her might she held back the tears. "You will remain caged and with everything I have I will make sure you are never released to hurt anyone!" Millicent was gain back control. The seal binding the cage shut strengthening again. The Sanbi's chakra started retracting. The body outside reverting back to it's normal state, the waves of water slowly calming as the pressure if the demons Chakra slowly vanished.

All had calmed at all points. The demon inside only stood in silence, it's eye never leaving the girls figure. The both of them kept on watching each other in the purest of silence. It was unnerving and a little awkward. Millicent really didn't know what else to say or due. She hadn't planned any further and couldn't plan for what to do next. It seemed the Sanbi didn't much know either. So instead of saying anything the large demon simply turned away from the girl and retreated further behind it's bars to rest. It was over. Sighing, Millicent closed her eyes exhausted.

Things were much different when she opened her eyes, there was no monster. Instead she was face to face with a white ceiling, her ears hit with the sounds of beeps and clicks. The smell of bleach and antiseptic. She was in a hospital. Being a ninja this was a place one would visit often after a mission. You could never forgot it. Blinking Millicent made an effort to move. Big mistake, it hurt, all over. Despite the pain Millicent couldn't help but smile to herself, "I'm home."

RPC Name: TBA.
Class: TBA.
Clan: TBA.
Demon Applying For: Kyuubi/Kurama/9-tailed Demon Fox
Link to Demon: Kurama

Roleplay Sample:

Some notes before you read the sample: Since my RPC will be a genin, I will be RPing the cloaking mostly. I will be referring to Kurama as the Nine-Tailed, due to the relationship between Kurama and my RPC being fresh.

[How the Nine-Tailed was sealed in him. Skip to see the actual RPing.] Kuchiro Mistalune. The name of the ninja whose legend had yet to be known. At the time of chaos, the time when chaos sought heros to bring order, Kuchiro had been there. He was there. Available. Ready. But, unlike most he was not there by choice. In fact, Kuchiro was neither hero, nor courageous. He was only an academy student at the age of seven. A boy, but a boy who felt the tremendous pressure of the situation. The importance that dawned at that time.

It was the first time that Kuchiro saw something of this nature, something that was written only in the scrolls that his parents read to him as bed-time stories. It was a gigantic fox, but not an ordinary fox. A fox with nine tails that swished and swayed about as if they had individual life about them. The Nine-Tailed as it was known by most ninja, had been freed from its previous owner. Actually, it was a failed sealing process, since the only ninja who offered to take the Nine-Tailed was too old to survive the process. The Nine-Tailed gave off this massive aura of anger. Rage. Hate. In fact, it was as if the Nine-Tailed wanted to kill everything. Destroy everything. Kuchiro, even in his limited understanding of social skills, could comprehend that the Nine-Tailed was one pissed-off fox. To Kuchiro, he thought the Nine-Tailed was just angry because it was looking for its master.

The Nine-Tailed would slash its claws and rows of trees would be torn asunder. It slammed its tails against building which collapsed instantly. And worst of all, the screaming roar that followed. That was when Kuchiro realized that this fox was not looking for its master. Who would be able to master such a thing like that anyway? This was not some fox from the forest at all. It was a monster. A horribly violent monster, much like the ones Kuchiro imagined in his dreams. Kuchiro was afraid. Terrified. He was watching the parents of his classmates rush into battle using their best techniques to fend off the Nine-Tailed. But, ultimately they were unable to stop its rampage. The Nine-Tailed had to be sealed, but who could do the sealing and who would become the Jinchuuriki? The word to Kuchiro meant nothing at the time. But, soon he would be called upon to bear it.

The other academy students had been ordered to go home or to stay inside the academy away from the battle, but Kuchiro was young and bold. He was not going to sit back and feel so helpless that he would wet his pants. No, he was going to be a strong boy. The Nine-Tailed has slammed through a set of walls at this point and jumped atop the nearby building. Its cold stare now poised on Kuchiro. Kuchiro looked back at the Nine-Tailed and felt like it was over. The big demon with nine tails was going to just devour him. Devour him and his home. And he could do nothing about it. But, then by miracle, and fashionably late circumstance the sealing squad had arrived from afar, with an Uzumaki heading the strike on the Nine-Tailed. The Kage had been super strong, strong enough to slam his fists into the side of the Nine-Tailed and force him to keel over.

Several binding seals had been active and the Nine-Tailed was restrained momentarily. But, it was lashing out against the golden binding chains, trying to break free of the sealing squad's powerful jutsu. The sealing squad and the kage were aware that it would be imperative to seal the Nine-Tailed immediately, but it had to be someone young. At times they sealed the Nine-Tailed in babies even. Using the Uzumaki clan's legendary Eight Trigrams Sealing Style technique, they had the preparations ready. All they needed was a vessel. No one wanted to volunteer their children. No one wanted to become the vessel.

The sealing squad saw Kuchiro and one of them beckoned Kuchiro closer. He spoke directly and frankly, "Look boy, you probably are confused and barely understand what's going on. But, this fox. This fox is a very bad evil fox. And we have to keep him under control. We need your help though. Can you do that?" Kuchiro nodded looking at the sealing marks on the ground and almost as if he had some sixth sense, lifted off his shirt and laid on the ground. "Will it hurt?" Kuchiro asked quietly, feeling the sealing mark take place upon him. The Kage reassured him, "You won't feel a thing. You won't even remember." The technique had been progressing and the Nine-Tailed responded with more violence, standing up and breaking several sealed chains. But, the Nine-Tailed was too late and the sealing was completed. In that instant, Kuchiro Mistalune became the Nine-Tailed Jinchuuriki, but he would not know this until later in his life.

[RPing with the Nine-Tailed:] Kuchiro sneaked behind his sensei's permission and took on one of his sensei's missions for himself. It was not simple at all. It involved stealing an artifact of great power, a large sapphire that was called the Heart of Gold. It was known to be able to turn anything into gold as long as one's chakra could be sent within the Heart of Gold. However, the Heart of Gold was guarded by rogue ninja. Rogue ninja who were all at the minimum Chunin-class with a Jounin-class leader. Using information given by travelers and what was written on the mission scroll, Kuchiro had used triangulation to pinpoint the approximate location of where this band of misfit rogue ninja would be. This forest area was filled with traps, traps that were triggered by wires.

Kuchiro, of course walked right into the first wire, which send out a loud chiming sound alerting the camp of Kuchiro's entry. Suddenly coming Kuchiro's way was a Demon Windmill Shuriken, followed by five makabishi stars. Crouching with much dexterity, he avoided the Shuriken, but was pelted by a makabishi star in his right shoulder, of which he tore out and placed his hand against the wound. Kuchiro took out a kunai and then jumped into a tree, before tossing it down on the ground towards the open area. The kunai tapped two wires and explosive tags attached to the wires went off. It was at this point that Kuchiro met his first opponents. Two chunin who had slashes through their Mist village headbands. Using his smarts, he assumed that the ninja would be water style elemental specialists. He was wrong.

He performed a single handseal and unleashing a Groundshaking technique from the earth style. This caught Kuchiro off balance, causing him to fall. Kuchiro landed on his arm that had the wound, but Kuchiro noticed something. The wound had been closed and was apparently healing already. Weird... That makabishi star got me good, but... It's like it was just a scratch. "Hidden Mist Jutsu!" Shouted the other chunin ninja. Suddenly, the entire area began to fill up with a thick mist. Kuchiro knew that water technique had to use water, and since they were in a forest, Kuchiro assumed there was some sort of pond or creak nearby allowing this possible. Kuchiro feeling like the mist wouldn't impede him, rushed forward to their last known location, kunai drawn. He slashed outwards, but hit nothing. However, he felt a painful sensation as he was kicked in the side, launched into a nearby tree. "Stone spear!" Was echoed in the distance, as ten spears came wailing towards Kuchiro. Unable to respond fast enough, Kuchiro was hit by three of the spears, pinned to the tree and now bleeding in multiple areas. However, as the spears impaled him, Kuchiro was able to cast a technique of his own, but it would drain him for as long as he kept it active. Using the kunai he held in hand, he cut off his long luxurious hair and then performed two handseals. "Chakra Hair Rope!" The hair imbued with his chakra then slid across the ground like a snake, wrapping around the earth style using chunin. Hehe. Got you idiot. But, well... damn. You got me too. Then performing another handseal, Kuchiro smiled as he activated current transfer. Riding his hair and the chakra, his lightning elemental chakra struck the bound earth chunin directly.

Kuchiro then took out two spears, one in his right leg and one in his left arm. The third spear was embedded in his torso and too deep to simply take out. Coughing blood, Kuchiro fell to one knee. He was dizzy and knew he had taken too much damage with that attack. He also used up a lot of his tiny chakra amount. The jounin leader of the group had finally arrived and stabbed Kuchiro directly in the back with his superior speed. The katana pierced through Kuchiro. Then the jounin pressed both of his hands against Kuchiro's back and used the Chakra absorption technique. He drained Kuchiro heavily, before placing the boot of his shoe against Kuchiro's lower back and ripping out the katana and kicking Kuchiro forward. At this point, Kuchiro was near death and his chakra had been virtually used up. He faded into darkness, a darkness that was not quite death, but more familiar to him, like an old friend.

Come to me boy. Come and open up the gate. Kuchiro looked up at the gate. He could not hear what the Nine-Tailed was saying, but he understood. He could feel what the Nine-Tailed wanted. He recalled the situation he was in, and he recalled the time when he was a boy. Reaching forward, Kuchiro pressed his hand against the gate, cracking the seal slightly. Returning to the battlefield, his body against the ground, he stood up, blood running free. Gathering his strength, he formed a handseal and suddenly a dark red chakra began to burst outwards around him, covering him completely. Good. Good. Yes. Let me take control... I will protect you boy. His wounds began to heal and he gripped the stone spear within him and took it out, before hurling it in a three-hundred and sixty turn, launching it at the jounin, who was unable to avoid it. Kuchiro then dove atop the jounin and rammed his fist into his chest once, then again and again. It was as if he was filled with the Nine-Tailed's hatred. Let the killing begin! His face had formed whiskers and his nails began to lengthen. Then picking up the jounin, he placed a kunai to his neck and yelled, "Release the mist technique and surrender the Golden Heart or I kill your leader. It's over." The mist technique had been finished, but the mist chunin had performed a single handseal. "Water Prison Technique!" The water began to encircle Kuchiro, but Kuchiro dived forward and escaped, as the prison captured the jounin instead

Kuchiro then slid back and performed multiple handseals. He had renewed chakra and he knew had to act fast to beat these two. Performing two handseals, he then used the Pure Lightning Kunai Technique. It took me weeks to master this technique, but I am so glad I did. I have a chance to beat these guys! Four kunai of lightning had formed in his fingers. This was then added in conjunction to a Wind Style Assassin's Rush Technique. Dashing side to side using the wind to redirect him forward he reached the jounin and the chunin of the mist, before launching the four lightning kunai two to the left and two to the right. Both of the kunai to the left struck the jounin, but the chunin was able to avoid them. Got the big guy! Yes! But wait... where is the other? Kuchiro used another Pure Lightning Kunai Technique, readying himself to strike at the chunin, but was not prepared for the incoming attack. The jounin had used the earth style technique Body of the Stone Warrior and rushed at Kuchiro from the side, slamming into Kuchiro who was still coated red with the chakra from the Nine-Tailed. No... damnit... Damn you... Why is it getting black? His consciousness began to fade and he felt himself disappearing. He saw the gate once more, this time the seal with the crack was widened. The Nine-Tailed was freeing itself. Yes. You are mine boy. And soon. Soon I will be free to roam this world. Just a little more time... And the seal... will break. By this point, Kuchiro's chakra cloak had formed a single tail. It was beginning to form a second tail, and at this point Kuchiro had lost control of his body. Raging forward, the two-tailed Kuchiro punched through the earth armor of the jounin and slammed into his chest, breaking the bones in the jounin almost instantly. The jounin screeched before being launched into a large boulder and becoming incapacitated for the remainder of the fight.

Using the natural Tailed Beast Arms, Kuchiro reached for the now weakened jounin and grabbed his incapacitated corpse, before the tails gripped it on opposing ends. They ripped the jounin in half, before launching the torso one direction and the legs another. The third tail had been established at this point. And Kuchiro began to look more like a fox, now on all fours and with long claws. The red cloak was now much more massive and could burn anything that it touched. The mist chunin, now horrified by the loss of both of his comrades, attempted to retreat. However, Kuchiro chased after him. A mindless Kuchiro at this point, purely instinctual and under the Nine-Tailed's control. The Nine-Tailed moved with great speed, crashing through trees and right behind the mist chunin. However, luckily, his sensei had arrived in the nick of time. He yelled at Kuchiro, who was now under the control of the Nine-Tailed, as he appeared in front of the Nine-Tailed. Stopping to look at the man in front, the Nine-Tailed readied itself to pounce. No! You won't interfere! He's mine. The boy is mine... Kuchiro's sensei, then arched his back and as the Nine-Tailed leaped for Kuchiro's sensei, his sensei braved the burning skin of Kuchiro and placed the inscribed seal, which shut the Nine-Tailed's chakra out and caused Kuchiro to fall over incapacitated from chakra exhaustion and overexertion. Kuchiro was then rushed back to the village. The gate's crack had been reforged and the lock was tightened. NO! Don't keep me in this pathetic wretched child! Damn you! The rogue mist ninja escaped and the Golden Heart was never found. His sensei was just happy that Kuchiro Mistalune would live another day. But, he was going to be reprimanded for his stupidity on challenging a mission beyond his scope.

I'm also making one too. Actually, I believe I was the first one to notify the Captain of that, but with my life outside of Gaia being so busy, I just haven't found the time.

I'm really not liking the sudden population of Kyuubi appliers, but oh well. The Captain told me there is a seven day time limit between each application for the same demon, so you and I, have seven days. Depending on which one us applies first, the last applier will possibly have an extended time, or just the normal seven days once again. Well, good luck to you, Kuchiro, and myself included.

Everyone deserves a fair shot. If we end up not getting Kurama, we can always pick a different demon.

It's not a matter of luck. It's not a competition. Whoever gets it, gets it. Mind you, if I don't get it, I will really want Matabi. Matabi and Kurama are my favorite tailed beasts.

RPC Name: Goh-Goh
Class: Taijutsu
Demon: ----
Demon Applying For: Son Goku

Roleplay Sample:

Old Man Gohana was a peculiar old man, always drinking and gambling and asserting his youthful personality around the village. Even though he was at least seventy plus years old, he was still able to keep moving, still with a vivid source of his younger years. In theory, he had as such as it was said the Uzumaki had a strong life source, longer life span even. Perhaps this much was true to a degree, but he had been a genin for... decades one could say. He was also a questionable person in terms of safety when it came down to... his origin. His inner being was still greatly feared, but what was it?

'Bwahaha! Another round, old man? You sure hold your sake!" The tender in the sake den slid the old man yet another alcholic drink as he competed in the drinking contest with all the younger shinobi after a long hard day. Gohana looked at the drink with an uncertain glance. Staring at the ever shifting liquid in the cup and he felt a little woozy. Maybe it was just the wine getting to his head. With no second doubt he gave a loud shout of "down the hatch!" before grabbing the drink and had proceeded to slam it right there.

But something was off, Gohana knew that this level of Sake didn't make him this drunk... His thoughts were still clear so unless it was... A scream came and Gohana reacted almost instantly. Assassins, it was a poison he had been consuming! Bleary but still alert, the old man held the liquid in his mouth and tossed aside the cup. There running across the counter was a dark robed man with a dagger coming straight for him. Striking a match, he got up quickly and sprayed out the poisoned liquid from his mouth and across the lit match. Enhancing this by chakra, the assassin screamed as he was blanketed by fire, covering him from head to toe in the now gooey liquid.

From behind the old man shot up from his seat as he let his drunkard state become his advantage as he had trained and became a master of the drunk fist. An elbow shot backwards and clocked his next opposing foe in the neck before he whirled around like a slinky skeleton and became a two legged, arm-flailing whirlwind of death. He bee bopped back and forth and slapped, clawed, poked, punched and struck the assassin in the neck, eyes, check, balls, arms, and where ever he could strike with an opening. With each successful strike, he gave his signature "Wachaaw!" cries before he ended the blow with a solid strike to the throat, leaving the assassin gasping and moving on the ground as blood flowed from his mouth. Various points in his body were crushed and that included the shattered wind pipe.

"Jimmy cracked coooorn and I dooooon't caaaaaaaaaaaaare!~" Gohana sung during his wailing of yet another shinobi, kicking literally his a** with a spinning roundhouse that sent him head first into the glass aquarium, breaking it and spewing out it's glassy and watery contents all over the place.

He stood over the fallen shinobi and assumed a wobbling stance as the tavern was in chaos of combat while outside Gohana could hear the fighting. So the village was under attack? Figures that they would try and poison a defenseless old man (ha!). But the old man was surrounded by six shinobi bearing no headbands, only keeping back because of the old man's now apparent destructive nature.

Gohana normally would be able to fight, but the poison had been a truly effective one. But, this old man had some tricks up his sleeves. He was a medical man, knowledge of medicine and healing was just apart of his trade. "You all, can go suck a c**k." he slurred out as he clapped his hands together for a green glow emanated around his body, pushing the poison through his own body.

"He's healing himself! Attack now!" One of the six shinobi shouted just as the old man could only smirk. As the shinobi came toward the old man, he assumed a loose pose and released his hands. With a rather loud belch, he twirled around as a bronze colored mist was spewed out to each of the assassins. With it, he spewed out the alcoholic substance within his body and used it in conjuration of his medical jutsu to spew out the poison in his system as well.

The others reacted to the paralysis poison as the old man expelled the poison from his body in a form of a mist. His foggy vision was about to clear up with the broken bodies and poisoned assassins around him. Gohana coughed as he decided to clear out of the tavern and head out to help the rest of the village. He was careful to not trip over the fallen assassins and not to take in the poison he had just spewed out.

They must be after Son inside of me, much of the fighting is focused here. Alright Gohana, time to show your power of youth. The old man thought as he kicked open the door and came face to face with yet another shinobi. After a short and startled shout, he quickly dispatched the man with a couple heavy blows to the gut and chest. "Mountain Rising!" In fact the male was hit hard with the stone body taijutsu to where he was thrown back from the low upper cut, smashing him into an adjacent wall nearby. Two more shinobi came and the old man clapped his hands together then and charged his chakra.

"Gohana-san!" One of the allied shinobi called but the old man shrugged it off as he splayed his hands apart as more of the opposing shinobi gathered in the village. A blue aura accompanied his body as he concentrated his fuinjutsu. Pushing a single palm forward, he shot out various ethereal chains of chakra to attack and latch onto each of the advancing shinobi, six targets altogether each bound by the uzumaki jutsu. "Chakra Chains barrier." the old man said as he weaved his hands into a flurry of seals. The shinobi bound by the chains shouted, some spewing insults before a ominous barrier was erected, surrounding each of the shinobi temporarily.

(Demon App starts here)

Some of the allied shinobi were taken aback by the old man's sealing jutsu, yet it was only a temporary thing to allow the allied force to subdue them properly once it loses power. "You, and you, see to it that these intruders are dealt with and subdued for interrogation." Gohana said finally with a serious tone as the sound of more fighting echoed down the village. He had appointed the two chuunin the task of making sure the enemy force in this sector would be dealt with. "Status report, now."

Gohana stopped for a moment to hear exactly what had happened when he was dealing with the assassins in the tavern. From the quick and stuttering report of fear, the old man had learned more of the details. One, the attacking shinobi are more of mercenaries, no true allegiance. Two, they were after him and the kage and they had a summoner to assist with that. The old man calmed the two and stated that he would deal with the summoner and the summons with his own power, directing them to do what he had told them.

Summons, great. Gohana let out a sigh and clapped his hands together to regather some of his chakra in a short meditative stance. During this, he dipped deeper in his own conscience. "Hey. You awake?" He thought loudly in the deep recess of his mind. A low rumble echoed through his body and shook him to his very bone. A slow and drawn out reply came from the demon within. "Now I am, what do you want human?"

"I need your power, ol' great one. You see, even I am not strong enough to fight a summon." Gohana said simply. At first no answer came but the low rumble from within told otherwise. A foreign chakra other than his own spilled out and he felt that rush of power. Son said nothing but the old man knew he supplied it. With a surge of power...

I decided I'm going to rescind my 9-Tailed app. However. I was hoping to use my 9-Tailed app, in lieu of having to write a whole other 2-Tailed application. I want Matatabi.

A Faint Smile

RPC Name: Kuchiro Mistalune
Class: N/A
Clan: N/A
Demon Applying For: Nibi/Nekomata/Matatabi
Link to Demon: Matatabi

Special Note(s): I am going to RP my RPC in three stages. The first is his Genin phase. This phase is where he has no real control over the demon within him. The second phase will be him as a Chunin where he is battling for dominion over the tailed beast. The third is where Kuchiro is a Jonin. At this point they will have developed a relationship. Additionally, Kuchiro has no clan or bloodline. Only the Matatabi. He is a single-element specialist using the Fire Element. In this sample, I will use techniques that I intend to learn and use in the RP. For fun, I'm going to demonstrate this through a war between Yukigakure and Tsukigakure.

Roleplay Sample : A special squad of shinobi from the village of Tsukigakure was sent to assassinate the Yukikage. They were successful, and in doing so struck the first blow in a series of many to come. As a genin who loved his Yukikage dearly, Kuchiro was amongst the first to sign up for war. A genin thrown into the chaos at such a vital time, only weeks before the Chunin Exams. This war of course would postpone them. Postpone them until a time when shinobi had settled their disputes. Due to the loss of such a key figure, Yukigakure had been thrown back into a defensive scattered position. They gave leadership to the Jonin, effectually making him the Kage stand-in. Before Kuchiro could be given an assignment, the dastardly Tsuki shinobi returned. Their leader, the Tsukikage was evil. She was evil to the core and like the serpent she was, she struck when they were still weak. They were known for their Uchiha and their damned kekkei genkei the Sharingan. Not one. Not two. Not even three. Four Susanoo monsters were sent raging forward, crashing through the walls and smashing buildings. The Yuki shinobi were now battling within their city against the ultimate offense and defense times four.

Kuchiro then began to have an adrenaline surge. I have to at least stop one of these things. I might not be able to kill it, but I can distract it from hurting the village. He leaped sideways, dodging a massive swing from a fiery hammer that was a hot pink color. The chakra radiating from it was evil. Performing desperate handseals, Kuchiro yelled, "Fire Style: Fireball Technique!" (20-5 = 15) From his lungs, launched the largest ball of fire he could form, before he shot it to crash against the shield of the Susanoo before him. His flames did nothing. Absolutely nothing. As the smoke cleared, Kuchiro was unable to avoid the massive blade of hot pink that came crashing down upon him. He merely ducked, awaiting death. But, the flames miraculously did not hit him directly. They hit the ice. And the ice cracked. A cavern below ripped open and Kuchiro fell roughly two-hundred feet below. Thud. He landed chest-first against the cold and rigid ice. The massive Susanoo followed, as the ice that cracked spread beneath it.

Quickly performing three handseals, he formed two Ember Replications. (15-4 = 11) The Susanoo before him was quick to begin swinging. The four Kuchiro's split up and ran in different directions hoping to distract the Susanoo before them. But, they did not account for the speed of the Susanoo, it quickly slashed through one Ember Replication, before it hit another. "Flame Sphere Technique!" (11-5 = 6) Kuchiro cried, as the flames around him formed a globe of heated energy. The Susanoo blade broke through and directly struck Kuchiro, launching him against a nearby wall in the cavern. Kuchiro could tell he was wounded. But, his adrenaline kept him pumped. He came to a knee, before standing up and facing the horror before him. Almost out of chakra. Am I going to die like this? No. I still... Performing two handseals he stated, "Mythical Phoenix Flower Technique! (6-2 = 4) He launched small balls of fire, a total of ten at different locations throughout the cavern, hoping to disrupt the area and cause it to collapse. All it did was melt the areas and light up the cavern slightly. "No. No damn you, don't come any closer!" The exhaustion and the pain finally caught up to him, as the Susanoo slower approached, blade drawn. Two more handseals followed and he shouted, "Just burn you damned... unbeatable... Mythical Phoenix Flower!" (4-2 = 2) He launched all the balls of fire against the Susanoo, which was now blazing but not even damaged. Kuchiro slid down and everything began to fade. Fade to a real darkness. Suddenly a surge of chakra came in raging forth, a coat of
dark blue. It swirled around Kuchiro with a terrifying appearance. And from Kuchiro came a stare in his eyes. The stare of one with killing intent. (2x.23 = .46 = 2.46)

His nails had grown out and his teeth's canines were larger. The Susanoo waved its flaming sword down and Kuchiro slid sideways, before running forward towards it. The Susanoo raised its shield to block, as Kuchiro launched himself upwards and bit into the shield. It negated Kuchiro's attack and the force was reversed on Kuchiro who was sent flying backwards, but he performed an acrobatic back-flip, landing with an odd precision. I like this. I really like this... Power. A minute ago I was dead but... I can do this. Kuchiro knew that he could not physically beat the Susanoo, but he could bury him. Running around the Susanoo who was slower than him in his chakra cloak, Kuchiro scratched at the ice. At that point he then performed a single handseal. Fire Coating. (2.46-1 = 1.46) Instead of coating a weapon, he coated his nails in fire. After looping around the Susanoo three times, Kuchiro rammed into the wall with his leg, which caused a massive crack that circumvented the room. It began to cave in. Suddenly, Kuchiro jumped up on a falling piece of ice, then to another and another, desperately rushing for the surface. The Susanoo below swung to break the falling ice, but was too slow. Kuchiro emerged victorious and the Susanoo below was buried under heavy ice. That invasion from Tsuki had been repelled by the valorous Yukigakure shinobi. One-thousand people died that day. Many were civilians. Fathers. Mothers. Sons. Daughters. Shinobi. Kunoichi. This war was one that coated the beautiful fields of snow into rivers of blood.

Roleplay Sample : After a week of recovery in the hospital, they released Kuchiro who demanded to begin training. He now knew he could call on the Tailed-Beast within him. The war with Tsuki had been going on for a year now and Kuchiro was promoted to Chunin by the Jonin commander for his heroic efforts and the demonstration of his superior skill. Now, Yukigakure would go on the offensive. They were hungry for vengeance. They wanted the Tsukikage to pay, pay with blood. For every villager in Yuki who was brutally slaughtered, ten were to be ripped apart in Tsuki. As a Chunin, Kuchiro now knew that the best time to activate his chakra cloak would be immediately, in order to tap into that percentage of chakra bonus. Kuchiro had been tasked to distract the Tsuki gate guards, while the Yuki invasion force would enter unseen. They knew Kuchiro had the power of the Two-Tailed and knew that he could hold off long enough for them to do their dirty work. Kuchiro had reached the gates of Tsuki and performed a single handseal. His chakra cloak now activated, his fangs becoming elongated and his nails growing outward. (40x.23 = 9.2 = 49.2) Performing more handseals, Kuchiro launched a Fireball Technique at the gates, which would alert the guards to his position. (49.2 - 5 = 44.2)

The Tsuki guards sent their best. Two Jonin and a Chunin to meet Kuchiro Mistalune at their gate. Naturally, Kuchiro did not know what these shinobi were capable of. What their clans entailed or any of that information. To Kuchiro, he was here for the honor of his village. Today, we strike back tenfold. "Hey look. It's the kitty cat of Yuki. No wonder we were able to woop your Kage's a**. Of all the Tailed Demons, he got the kitten." The Chunin boasted arrogantly. This insult, while Kuchiro normally could ignore came from the enemy. And it infuriated him deeply. "Take that back, you stupid moon-worshipping ********> Kuchiro spit out. "Does the truth hurt kitty cat? Does kitty cat want some love? Come here little kit-kit. Meoww." These insults were fueling Kuchiro's anger. Why was he letting it get to him? Then he realized it. The chakra from the Two-Tailed. The Two-Tailed itself was being offended and it was messing with Kuchiro's rationality. For the first time ever, Kuchiro heard Matatabi's voice. Listen to me boy. These ones arn't just picking on you. They are challenging my honor. Open the gate. Let me give you the power to rip them apart. Kuchiro felt surprisingly in agreeance. In his subconscious he saw the massive Matatabi sitting down with a deep frown on her face. She was not a happy camper today. Kuchiro opened the seal and felt a renewed surge of chakra.

(44.2 x .28 = 12.376 = 44.2 + 12.376 = 56.576) A long tail rippled out of the chakra from behind him and Kuchiro's eyes began to change. His right eye became green, his left turned a hue of yellow. His nails grew longer than the chakra cloak and his canines were much like that of a cat's. Kuchiro felt light and limber. Agile. Using Kuchiro's one Tail, he reached out and grabbed the Chunin, before holding tightly. This technique was the well known Tailed Beast Chakra Arms Technique. (56.576 - 2 = 54.576) The Chunin tried stabbing back at the tail with a kunai, but Kuchiro tightened his grip and he smiled. Suddenly, Kuchiro's tail and his body became flaming. The Chunin was beginning to become incinerated. (54.576 - 5 = 49.576) Fiery Rage Technique. This Chunin screamed for help, and one Jonin did try. He activated his Mangekyou Sharingan and formed Susanoo. Kuchiro launched the Chunin at the Susanoo, where he was impaled on the Susanoo's black fiery spear. This Susanoo did not have shield or sword, but a two-handed spear. It was actually one of the other Susanoo that Kuchiro fought back during Yuki's invasion.

Kuchiro performed multiple handseals and stated, "Fire Style: Fire Transport!" (49.576 - 20 = 29.576) Become flames himself, he rushed forward and all around the Susanoo, which was now covered in flames. He continued by shouting, Fire Style: Blazing Column!" (29.576 - 10 = 19.576) The flames he manipulated manifested along the flames around the Susanoo, which was now turning to face Kuchiro once more. Now a spiraling tornado of fire was engulfing the Susanoo and the user within. To finish his attack, Kuchiro then jumped forward and slashed at the Susanoo, which after the massive flame damage, cracked and Kuchiro struck down the Uchiha Jonin who had been within it. The other Jonin took off and left. At this point, Tsukigakure was on fire, with the village being attacked by the invasion force that sneaked in while Kuchiro was busy with the guards at the gate. Congratulations Kuchiro. You paved the way for your village's glory. I bet you're proud. Eh... Nibi you don't have to be sarcastic with me. I mean it was really all you. Was that a compliment? You naughty boy. Uh... No... It's not like that Nibi... After their attack was finished, Kuchiro and the invasion squad returned home. That day, an estimated 13,000 Tsuki villagers were slain. Of that number 4,600 involved shinobi. The military of Tsuki had been effectively destroyed. Upon returning to the village, Kuchiro was given the title of Jonin.

Roleplay Sample : The war between Tsukigakure and Yukigakure was reaching its climax, when Soragakure had finally come out of the shadows. They knew the two villages were virtually weak. Splitting its massive military force, which had been amassing for the past 5 years of the war, they struck at both Tsukigakure and Yukigakure. They burned down the hospitals, the academy, as well as the barracks which housed the Jonin. Both Tsuki and Yuki's Jonin commanders were killed. And their military forces were completely weak. Soragakure's next attack would cease control over the villages if they remained separate. So, Kuchiro took it upon himself to lend aid to Tsukigakure in hopes of providing a treaty of neutrality against this new foe. By the point, Kuchiro and one of the Jonin of Tsuki had been developing a relationship, actually a romantic relationship. Her name was Bellatrix Hyuga. As Kuchiro finally arrived to the battlefield, things were dire. Soragakure had deployed their most powerful weapon, the Sorakage. And he had Bellatrix captive, kunai to her neck.

"You better let her go. Listen. I've been through this same goddamn scenario at least three times already. I'm bored of it." Kuchiro yelled, pointing at the Sorakage and Bellatrix. "I don't think I will be letting such a beautiful butterfly out of my hands so easily, Mistalune Kuchiro, Two-Tailed Jinchuuriki. How about you surrender and let me siphon that demon out of you?" Kuchiro laughed, scoffing the very thought. "Look kid. You arn't an Akatsuki. And even if you were. You wouldn't even touch me. Let's go Nibi!" My power is yours, Kuchiro. Immediately, Kuchiro formed a single, demonstrating his mastery over the Nibi. This was the second stage. His fangs became elongated like a cats, he had one tail, a dark blue chakra formed about him. And the tattoos of the Nibi showed. The tails were moving about as though they had minds of their own. (80 x .33 = 106.4) Using the Tailed Beast Chakra Arms, Kuchiro tried to separate Bellatrix from the Sorakage. (106.4 - 2 = 104.4) The Sorakage tossed Bellatrix to the side and jumped on top of the flaming tail, before rushing forward, with a katana drawn.

Kuchiro swung his tail about and the flames caught onto the Sorakage's cloak. The Sorakage ripped off his cloak and rushed to stab Kuchiro directly. Kuchiro then used the Cat's Meow, screeching out chakra that made the wind blow the Sorakage back and off his tail. (104.4 - 10 = 90.4) Using fiery rage, Kuchiro moved on all fours and began spreading the flames in a circle around the Sorakage and Kuchiro. (90.4 - 5 = 85.4) Now a massive area was filled with dark blue fire. "Listen to me Sorakage. I don't want to hurt you! Let's put an end to this fighting. There's a better way! I've seen it!" Kuchiro roared out, hoping the Sorakage might hear him. Kuchiro save it. This one is too far gone down the path of hatred. He won't stop until he claims both Tsuki and Yuki. But, Nibi... This battle is going to end with either me or him dead. The Sorakage then performed handseals and used the Multi Shadow Clone technique. He made nine copies of himself which came rushing towards Kuchiro. Using the Cat's Meow once more, he screeched outwards. (85.4 - 10 = 75.4) Then Kuchiro performed two handseals. "I'm going to end this right now. Prepare to die, Sorakage! Fire Style: Pandemonium!" (75.4 - 20 = 55.4) Using the flames from the previous wall of fire, Kuchiro spun them around rapidly, so fast that only people with great perception could follow. The Sorakage then dashed forward, impaling his katana into Kuchiro who was focused on using the technique. Kuchiro coughed blood, but he smiled. The balls then collided on the Sorakage and Kuchiro, resulting in a gigantic explosion, launching Kuchiro twenty feet back, the katana still in his chest. The Sorakage had been incinerated. Completely. To dust. Thanks to his training, the flames while they burned and scorched, did not kill him. He pulled out the katana and laid down, basking in the fire. His wound now began to heal. Bellatrix walked through the flames and knelled down to Kuchiro's level. She was a medical kunoichi and sought to help his wounds. The fire did not burn her. We did it Nibi... We did it. You did. But, you ought to know, Kuchiro. I have a name. My name... Is Matatabi. "Matatabi... Kuchiro whispered aloud. Bellatrix looked at him and said, "Huh? Kuchiro smiled back and said, "Matatabi. Her name is Matatabi. The Two-Tailed." With the defeat of the Sorakage, Tsukigakure and Yukigakure invaded Sorakagakure and the three villages made a peace treaty, effectually ending the war and reducing their militaries. Kuchiro returned home with Bellatrix, whom he later married. He became the Yukikage and later conquered the shinobi universe.

Kuchiro Mistalune

So... Just read through your application and I am afraid due to several factors I am unable to approve it.

Several factors include the misuse of the Nibi's personality. As he is supposed to be polite. "A lazy a**, not a cynical d**k" is a comment I have had explaining his personality versus the way you portrayed him.

Secondly. Repeatedly throughout your application you have been in fights, two out of three where you have given a definitely one sided battle to Kuchiro. One chunin against two jonin and one chunin, would not be able to prevail. Even with a demon. And then being able to destroy the Sorakage with no effort, with him not even trying to fight back with any offensive techniques apart from stabbing with a sword. Also the attack you used at the end would have most likely killed Bellatrix, given the extreme power of the jutsu. it would have incinerated the area. Ally and enemy alike. not have been so localized. that is the point of the jutsu. It is a win lose situation only to be used as a last desperate attempt, or as a psychopaths toy.

Lastly, and this ties in a lot with the second reason You are giving him too much power. You have not really shown him to have any weakness at all. Being ripped through with a sword would pretty much ruin anyone's day, coupled with the exploding fire death bomb... I really doubt he could have lived through that. God modding is illegal in this guild. Even though it is just a sample, I kind of take it as a measure of someones RP style and god modding takes away a lot of faith in what you may do in RP.

.........The personality is really a minor issue. And I can easily correct that.

Secondly. While in the demon form. You are already on fire. Being hit by your own fire attack is going to cause very minor injury. Bellatrix was not within the fire circle. The radius was centered on the interior of the circle with Kuchiro and the Sorakage. As for weaknesses, I do demonstrate my RPC is not infallible. He does get hit and he does get hurt.

Also... I have a 1/2 fire damage reduction passive. And being a Jonin, my Fire Resistance would further reduce the damage received by fire.

I agree, I got lazy towards the end with the fight against the Sorakage. Honestly, it was meant more as a happy ending. Comic relief sort of thing.

I RP by no means of being unbeatable and no way through god-modding.

Keep in mind this is a fictional fight. Completely fictional. I thought it would be fun to show the situation against NPCs. In this actual RP or any other Naruto RP, things would be significantly different. Battles would be drawn out and result in more taxing use of chakra as well as large amounts of wounds and exhaustion.

In the manga and anime, the Jinchuuriki with the demon could survive against multiple shinobi... At least if they had at least mastered control of some of the tails.

If you want a REAL demonstration, set up a 1v1 forum. I will show you how I would really battle with the Matatabi. Using only the Matatabi. I can tell you what its weaknesses are. They are obvious.

Water techniques of A or S rank would definitely counter it. Being able to control the spread of the flames would counter it. Using Susanoo could counter it. It's not unbeatable.

Anyhow. I spent a lot of time on that sample. For the amount of scrutiny that my RP sample received, I think the Sanbi sample should be looked at again. I read it and I see no actual demonstration of its combat abilities, nor any attempt at the personality. And it is not fair for me to have to re-do my sample all over, when someone else got accepted so easily.
