The mainland is a basic ruin. Most everywhere is deserted, buildings are in rubble, or abandoned. The few survivors don't come out in the day for fear of the fungus carriers. Supplies are limited, although some still can be scavanged from the rubble. There are a few resistance groups but they are hard to find, and even harder to infiltrate. Scattered all over the land are camps for captured humans, who are waiting to be assimilated into the hive mind.

The once great Kothar remove his hand from the human finish absorbing its knowledge. He had become apart of the collective what seemed, to the parts that were still Kothar, to be ages ago. He Walks away from the human and back to the others waiting for him they never spoke out loud didn't really need to since they practiaclly shared the same mind. They had been watching Haven from the mainland for days now.

Minerva waited down by the water, for whoever planned on going with her. She set up the boat and made sure there were no leaks. The water continued to splash on her boots, as she gave a soft sigh.

Minerva the Marvelous Minerva waited down by the water, for whoever planned on going with her. She set up the boat and made sure there were no leaks. The water continued to splash on her boots, as she gave a soft sigh. Anc got off the boat with her, heaving his gun over his shoulder. Unlike his .50 Cal magnums, which were useable by people that weren't him, this wasn't. It appeared to be 4 12 guage shotguns attached to a motor that fired like a minigun from hell. The weapon was far from perfect, and over heated easily, but ruined s**t faster than a herd of Rhinos on crack. "Cheery place, Min. Now I know why I like me oceanfront property."

Erica stayed in the back with Blitz, watching the area carefully. "It does have a rather dreary atmosphere."

Burning Disaster "I dunno. Give it a little bit of paint, some goofy nautical props, and a palm tree or two and it might not be so bad." Anc piped up with a "Tiki bar", and went around, observing the ruins.

Minerva worked her way across the ground, checking for something among the debris. "Look for anything unusual, I don't know all that much about the lab, or if this is even the right area."

As they walked up the pier, blitz stayed toward the back. That was untill he notcied Minerva. She seemed waaay too tense, so he figured he'd go loosen her up a bit... maybe. He slowly moved in behind her, then he gave her a tiny tiny push in the back accompanied by a "Boo!"

Burning Disaster As they walked up the pier, blitz stayed toward the back. That was untill he notcied Minerva. She seemed waaay too tense, so he figured he'd go loosen her up a bit... maybe. He slowly moved in behind her, then he gave her a tiny tiny push in the back accompanied by a "Boo!" Minerva twitched, her hand automatically going around twisting Blitz over her shoulder and onto the ground. She pinned him with her boot on his neck and shot once, the gun making a soft ping, with a splattering of dirt an inch from Blitz's left eye.

Blitz took her hand and got up. "You shouldn't have had to. The gun was overkill. You easily coulda used a knife or your foot to take me out just as easily." He told her, rubbing his throat.
