 Fortuna is one of the city states of Hainsworth, famous for its beautiful scenery and cut-throat merchantmen. The city is really just a long string of shops and merchant guilds, if something can be bought, it can be bought here. Fortuna is both a family city, a cut-throat industrial city, and the seedy underbelly of society. Fortuna has one of the largest black markets in the world, anything that can't be bought legally, can still be bought here.

Today, we all steal. Animals we are. Possession is lost.
Our souls are from the wild, and wings to reach the sky.
She's standing in the streets, blinking her eyes with a vacant look on her face.
All these voices, so much chatter. She's not sure if they're telling her things, like secrets and ideas, but they seem more focused. She's never heard them talking to each other.
Or maybe it's people.. There's an awful lot of people here. She doesn't know when she's ever seen so many. Or any, for that matter. It's all new and familiar. Maybe the stars told her about them..
She's seeing faces now. They're walking past her and all around her, bumping and shuffling, some passing through her permeated mind as empty thoughts. But then her brain does some sort of exploding thing that makes her crumple to the floor like a burn victim, and the faces in her head are gone.
As Chuuchalii stands and collects herself, she begins to notice that everything is too, for lack if a better word, calm. It's strange. The people hustle and bustle, but everyone is going about their business as it seems they should.
This is confusing and somewhat annoying. Something has to happen. She needs something to change this lightheartedness and make the people...
Pop, she wants to say.
She pans her head, scanning for someone somewhere doing something, but everywhere she looks, it's the same. Just people about their business.
Her palms begin to sweat as she starts nervously clenching her fists over and over, hands shaking.
Let the sun fall into the ocean, and let the earth erupt in flame.
There is no force, and no power, and no money to stop us now.
And change and faith, though every problem is destroyed, we raise our hands and bodies to the peak. Into the universe.
Towards the stars we go.

"Boobies! I mean- Hi..."  Leumas grinned as she shook hands with a merchant she had made a GREAT deal with, basically confusing him into giving her a massive discount on a crate of aged whiskey and a nice box of imported cigars.
"Like I said, the Gods bless those that give me free stuff! You're pretty much good for the rest of your life now!"
She called out and started walking off, allowing the merchant's associate to carry her newly acquired goods behind her.
"Just leave it there, you're welcome for the blessing. Bye bye now."
She grinned again and leaned against a wall, opening the box of cigars and taking one, making a big deal of sniffing it and then lighting it; the merchant's associate left with a scowl on his face. She looked around with a smug look on her face, hoping to find something interesting to do...Then she spotted a girl who looked somewhat distressed, her hands shaking. She kicked herself off the wall and approached the girl.
"Heeeello~! What's up with the shaking?"
She asked, a sort of arrogant grin on her face, but her voice sounding friendly and charismatic.

The sudden and wholly new pressure of conversation brought on by this woman panicked her responses. The voices had said "Speak" and what came out was something she overheard a passing nebula say once.
It was decidedly unfitting.
She outstretched her sweaty, shaking palm for a handshake and made another attempt.
"IamKehaelipleasedtomeetyoushakemyhandnow."
Perfect.

She said as she shook the girl's sweaty hand then wiped her own hand on her coat. She took a drag of her cigar and offered it to her
"You need this, man. So what's this about overshadowing the pain?"

"Well we're here!" Piastol said as she jumped off her ship and cracked her knuckles. "That was a close call..." Piastol said as she turned back towards the group. "Okay... Joy ride is over. Time to find your friend." Piastol said as she looked around.

Xver dropped down from the ship, landing next to Piastol. The man had a dead serious expression on his face. He looked over to Leumas "Leumas... we need your help..." he said to her in a serious tone "To help a cryborg... and kick an Emperor's a**..."

"Xver."
She said, then heard what he was saying
"I gotta HELP someone? That sounds like so much wooork....I mean a cyborg and-"
She then spotted Piastol and raised her eyebrows
"Oh look, boobs!"
She said excitedly
"Ok, I'm in. What's this about kicking a**? That's always cool. Tell me more!"
Leumas took a seat on the crate of whiskey she had gotten from a merchant a few moments before.

Xver explained the situation to Leumas "Emperor Noveria... he is destroying Avalon. He's kidnapped an innocent girl. He's hunting Heroes. And he wants to conquer the world. Basically... we need to kill him... okay?" and that was his explanation. The Paradox walked closer to Leumas "And my friend here... Noir. She's hurt... I'm... dumb... needed to find a Paradox with enough intelligence to help her." he explained to the other Paradox.

   Noir had just arrived to hear Xver mention the helping of a cyborg. Hearing him describe her as such rather than a person, less a friend like she had considered him and Kiki made her flinch a bit at the sound and bothered her a little even though usually it wouldn't. Rather than walk up to the group, she decided to simply turn around and walk in the opposite direction. Not sure where she was going but perhaps she just needed to clear her head.

"Why Yes! I do have very impressive breasts." Piastol agreed as she looked down at her chest and then sat down next to Leumas. "Well then... Looks like it was a good thing I came down after all. Woman's touch and what not." Piastol said jokingly as she nudge Leumas. These two may get along a little too well. She watched the retreating form of the cyborg and kicked Xver to get his attention. "I think she's getting away. Better track her down."

Ultimecia whispered to her companion " Let us stay behind Piastol for now, when the time comes we'll follow them."

Xver noticed Noir leaving like Piastol, and nodded to her when he was kicked. He walked off to follow Noir. He walked over as quickly as possible, and gently grabbed her arm "Noir... what's wrong?" he asked with a worried expression on his face.

Noir stopped and looked at him seriously. A bothered look on her face. "This CYBORG is going to get some sir and clear her head. Maybe even see if she can fix herself up. After all, that's what Cyborgs do after all. They're not like people or anything, right? Just machines. " She slid her arm away from his grasp and turned on her heel, resuming her walk.

Xver lowered his eyes and frowned at Noir's words. When she kept walking, Xver was disillusioned for a few moments and didn't follow, until he snapped back until the reality of things. He quickly followed after Noir once again "Wait! You know I didn't mean it that way...! Especially from me!" he called out, eventually catching up to her "I'm sorry... I did not mean to refer to you like that..."
