His hunting was a successful. He bagged a couple of rabbits. He ate one on the spot and brought the other two with him. He had a bad habit of late night snacking. He made made his way back to the entrance of his home, only to find someone else there. He stared and blinked at the Phim, then set down the rabbits. "Hello there, Miss..." He wasn't the rude type, he was just curious to why a Phim would be out in these parts. "A-Are you ok? Hungry? Hurt? L-..." He stopped mid-sentence. He was doing it again, being overbearing. "Uh..." His ears flicked back. "Sorry. I'll leave you be. I can find somewhere else." After all, he did know the area. There was a rather large hollowed log he could easily squeeze into and stay until the other left. If she decided to leave, he could find somewhere else.

"I couldn't make you move.. but..." He paused. There was a cave not far that could easily fit them both. Though, on their way they would most likely get rained on. "There is a cave that can easily fit you... I could show you but, you might get wet." Then he would come back here. He didn't care that he'd be soaked by the time he got back.

Hatsu gave her a slight smile and stepped aside so she can come out. He knew that den was small, so she probably didn't have much wiggle room. He waited for her to squeeze out. "My name is Hatsu..." He started walking, not slowly but not at a running speed either. He looked behind him to make sure she was following him. He had to admit, it was rather nice talking to someone... he has been rather lonely himself.

He nodded at her name. It was easy enough to remember but he did wonder why she was named after something sad. He picked up his pace as it started to drizzle, and was happy to see that Grief had her own way to keep dry. "See those thick shrubs? Right behind them is the cave." He heard the soft rumble of thunder, the rain was about to pick up. So her trotted in front of her and pushed the plants so she could get through. Once she was in the cave he shook off and slide inside too. He was happy his memory was right. The cave was massive. Enough for three daevas, so it easily fit them both. "Will this be ok?" He wanted to make sure she would be ok before he left again, even though he really didn't want to.

Hatsu nodded at her question. "Of course you can. As long as you like." He gave her a small smile, it was awkward to him though. He hadn't had much use to smile recently so the gesture felt odd on his face. He looked back to the mouth of the cave and it started to pour, the thunder rolled loudly and lighting flashed. He sighed to himself, by the time he got back to his own den he would be soaked. "Are going to be ok in this storm?" He looked back at the Phim. "If you get cold there is a box back there with blanket and pillows." He knew it was there because he used to live here when he was with Nui. She would be in her tribe and he would be here.

He reluctantly answered her question. "I'll just head back to the other den..." He was about to leave when he heard the squeak after the thunder struck. He looked at Grief and she was shivering. He sighed again and walked over to the box and threw a blanket over her. He also found some sticks and a odd rock. He set the stick down and rubbed the rock against the side of the cave walls until sparks caught the sticks and they caught on fire. "There... Better?" He was hoping that she was comfortable. "I... I could stay here if you wanted to... "
