Anand: [Stamps around on the ground, muttering to himself]
Lox: *Spies Anand* Looking for grubs, little bird?
Anand: O.O! [Jumps and turns around] Oh. It's you. What do you want?
Lox: *Grins as she moves closer to the stallion* Just came to see what my little bird was doing. Don't have to be so jumpy, I'm not going to hurt you. My Granddam wouldn't be so happy I wounded one of her prized fighters.
Anand: [Shrinks back] I thought I belonged to her...? I mean, her army. What do you mean by me being yours?
Lox: *Grins at Anand* Perhaps not at the moment, you aren't mine, but you will be, in due time Little Bird. *Coils around him like a cat would a human.* We just have to warm up to each other, I promise not to take you away from your duties. *Bats her eyes to look 'cute'. But really, those gears were a turning in her head*
Anand: ...What do you want with me. What do I know that you don't want me to.
Lox: Hush little bird, You know what I desire. Strong little chicks that make my granddam proud. Don't make me look outside the herd. *Gives her best pouty face.*
Anand: [In a very small voice] Very funny.
Lox: *Eyes the stallion, he was going to be a hard nut to crack, but she saw herself as the perfect nut cracker* Oh come now, Don't tell me you are seeing someone already. You looked pretty lonely out here all by yourself, I thought you could use some 'companionship', and who am I to deny a stallion that?
Anand: I don't have anyone. And I'm not looking for anyone. I know better than to trust any of you!
Lox: And I'm to stand here and let those good looking genes got to waste? I don't think so Little Bird. You are a strong stallion and those are the traits I look for, for good chicks. *Coils around him again, letting her tail flick at his sides, coming to a stop with her horned head tucked up under his chin.* You going to deny a mare her most darkest desired? Little Bird?
Anand: [Opens his mouth to say something, then realizes that it's likely that Lox would not take rejection well. If she was planning to kill him later, fine, he could deal with that when it came. In the meantime, he needed to stay alive, and maybe, just maybe, if he gave her what she wanted, she would forget about him and leave him alone. Maybe.]
Lox: *Glances up the best she could at Anand's face* So what shall it be Little Bird? I'm not as 'cruel' as my sisters, brothers and family, I cherish a good stallion. Prove the worth and be rewarded greatly. Never to be afraid and looking over one's shoulder every moment. *Backs away from Anand to look at him.* Anyone does try to steal a feather from your wing, I shall tear their hide from their very bones. *States as a promise.*
Anand: [Suspicious, but again, he can fight his way out of this if he needs to] Agreed. [He fluffs his wings] And what does...what do you require of me?
Lox: *Grins as the stallion agrees* Just your companionship Little Bird. That is all I ask of you, companionship, Your Loyalty is to my Granddam, but your companionship will be to me, from now until darkness take me. *Steps back towards Anand.* We shall have beautiful little chicks, ones that even my Granddam will be proud of.
Anand: [A mare who calls him strong and worthy instead of a bad-tempered skeleton who calls him worthless? Sold!!] My companionship is yours for the taking, Loxosceles.
Lox: *Snuggles in close to Anand, surprised how easy he was 'cracked'. Encouraging words and touches seemed to always make them melt into a woman's palm, hoof in this case. Planting her head under his chin she give almost a purr like noise.* Then let our hearts be twined together. My Little Bird, and let doubters tremble before your might.
Anand: [Hasn't cracked, has merely...bent. Might change in time, though...He wraps a wing around her shoulders and doesn't say anything]
