Kadryn packed her bag with a ton of water, food and healer’s kits before heading out to say bye to her family. Fuzzing her baby brother’s wispy hair as she told her parents that she would be leaving for a few days to go hunt down more Firani’s, Kadryn made sure that her parent’s wouldn’t worry if she came back in a few days… though knowing her mother, she would probably fret no matter what Kadryn said. Kissing them goodbye and hugging Fallon one more time, Kadryn flew off to Eowyn.

What she hadn’t told her mother was that she wouldn’t be in the desert for this hunt, she was headed to the volcano, where the Firani’s gathered in large groups and the danger was high. A feral frin twisted Kadryn’s lips, dangerous place filled with dragons that she would barely defeat… oh yes, this would indeed be fun! She’d been so tame this past few months, running from battle when she couldn’t fight, strategically ambushing dragons; she was sick of it! All Kadryn wanted was to get into a bloody battle and lose herself in it! In a Claw to mace battle she wanted to get covered in blood and feel that excitement and blood pounding exhilaration that she used to when she battled other dragons. No more planning, no more running, she was going to fight until she or the dragon died this time! And she wanted a good battle; not with a weaker and smaller Firani, but with a big and deadly one! Her mother would probably be very worried if she knew where Kadryn’s mind was going and what she planned. Laasya had been glad when she’d noticed Kadryn coming in with less blood and wounds on her, plus she’d seemed so much calmer… if only she knew that Kadryn was merely trying to be patient and calm but was tired of it and wanted to feel those bloodthirsty feelings and rage again. She would be so very worried.
Kadryn could only hold her instincts back for so long, and when she spotted the volcano in the distance, she flew up high and swooped towards it will all speed. Exploring a dangerous place with a high chance of Firani encounter? Kadryn could feel her blood start to stir already!

Serenia didn’t have volcanoes… or at least none like this, so Kadryn landed upon its dark slope and began to explore. The temperature was even hotter here than the desert and she could smell the brimstone and fire that spewed from the top. She crawled all over the slopes, looking at the strange shapes that the lava had dried into, picking up some of them and finding very little traces of Dragons. Then she rounded a corner and bumped right into a large and scarred female Firani. Laughing with delight, Kadryn cast aside her bag and grabbed her mace. Her blood began to pound and a snarl came from both her and the dragon’s mouth as they closed for battle. Kadryn got her wish, the battle was tough, bloody and lasted for quite a while, long enough that she could lose herself in her berserk feelings and enjoy the feelings of bloodthirsty exhilaration and battle.

It was evening when she finally smashed the Dragon’s head in, and as she came out of her berserker mode exhaustion hit her and she had to sit down before she fell. Laughing softly at herself, Kadryn curled up around the orb and went to sleep, happy from her battle and careless in her exhaustion. She didn’t care if a dragon stumbled upon her or if the volcano erupted while she slept.
