Corvania was always a world of strife, with the more dominant race, the Braks commiting genocide against a less sentiant race, the Vorcks. The Vorcks appealed to the Confederate Senate for aid in stopping the genocide in the year 2056 Confederate Years. This sparked the War of Freedom, with the Confederates aiding the Vorcks to freedom. Corvania pledged alliance to the Empire but the conflict wasn't over. Three rebellions were put down with force on the planet and many protests were stopped. When leadership changed back to the Braks, the genocide rebegan. The Confederates had to station a large military presense on the planet to disarm the Brak Planetary Army and even the Brak Political Party, who did not condone the killing.
After the Confederate Empire fell, Corvania became the Corvanian Hegemony and continued to slaughter the Vorcks. The Federation appeared to do nothing at first.

Throughout the main square on Corvania, protests were occuring. When the news of Empress Tahiri's session reached the planet, the protests became violent. Suddenly, the ground shook and smoke filled the sky. During the protest, a radical had slipped a large bomb into the main military bunker and detonated it. The entire facility was now smouldering ruins. Fueled by the explosion, the crowd became more agitated and began to fight with the guards, police officers and military officals. Shots were fired from the crowd at the officers and several went down. A firefight erupted in this crowd as news of the fighting spread to the other protests. Fighting erupted at those protests as more of the radicals began to detonate other bombs, some in military locations, some in political locations, and worst of all, in areas populated by Vorcks. One bomb detonated in a public transportation station, instantly killing approximately fourty people. The rebellion on Corvania had begun.

A Confederate transport touched down on the ground, from it, after a day of movement, 100,000 infantry, 50 Seige tanks, 200 Golith tanks and a very board General Spencer stood, ready to move, General Spencer, as soon as the transport had lifted off, had them organise into march formation, and gave the order, the mile long column set of, heading for the riots.

They had become far more than riots now, however. A man stood before the assembly on a platform that once had been a seige tank. He cleared his throat and everyone silenced. He began.
My people! This week begins our freedom! This week starts the elimination of the slime that inhabits this planet with us! Then we will be free! Free from the Vorcks! Free from the Confederacy! Free of the tyranny of the Empress! Who is with me?!?
The crowd erupted in cheers. Someone came running through the crowd and stopped before the platform. He took several deep breaths before informing the man of the incoming Confederate Forces.
My brothers! The slimy Vorck-loving Empress has sent forces to put us down! We will fight! Fight for your President! Fight for your Freedom!
The crowd erupted in cheers and went to gather their weapons and armor and meet the Confederate troops for a battle.

"Halt the column, Colonel." General Spencer ordered. "Have the men form into blocks, 100 in each block, hold 150,000 in reserve, deploy all tanks, to cover the flanks, have seige tanks set to fire over over the top of our troops, in support."
"yessir" The colonel spun, and issued the correct orders, the Confederates prepaired, and waited, the scum could come to them. General Spencer listened carefully, he could hear their propoganda already, insulting the Emporeress, They'll all pay.

They held their advance until they were looking at the enemy ahead of them. The tanks set themselves up into artillery mode, while the mechs formed into groups around the men. The siege tanks fired the first salvo in the form of artillery shells.

The Confederates tanks whurred loudly as they set hight, and range, then with an explosive roar, opened fire. "Army is to march, in this formation, to stop those tanks." General Spencer ordered. The troops behind begun to change "Empress Tahiri rules." over and over.

Slowly the Army marched closer and closer to the rabble, their weapons ready, their faces set, they open fire, before it was painful, it was about to become ten times worse.

Unaware of the change of events, [The fighting, and even that Tahiri's gone] General Spencer's army halted, the Rebels stood disorganised. Both sides watched each other, Spencers troops were well armed, the Rebels had anything they could grab, with a few stolen tanks, some of them were burning, from their capture.
Behind Spencers troops, the Siege tanks locked targets on Buildings, the rebel city would recive no mercy.
The Golith tanks rumbled around to stop and opened fire, some on tanks, some on infantory.
The Foot soldiers waited, fearfully.

Before the Infantory moved, General Spencer walked infront of them, pacing. "My Orders are to quell any riots throughly." He stated, "They said to do it so well there won't be anymore" He stopped, and faced them, "My Orders do not mention a desire for prisionners."

The battle raged on and off for days, possibly weeks, heavy losses were on both sides. On the last night, General Spencer took a desicion.
Gathering his officers, he ordered a mass attack, at first light, with everything they had, they would live, of die.
Attempts to contact the fleet were also tried.

Slowly the Generals men were being pushed back, if the Fleet didn't come, then there'd be 100,000 corpses on the ground.
