TG was sitting in his booster seat chewing on a piece of raw steak. Eating in the cafeteria was always boring and he couldn't wait till his fridge in his room could get stocked up. It was nice to get out, but eating alone blew Orc chunks. By now, he assumed he'd be swarmed with homies and groupies but here he was. Did his amazing looks intimidate people or were people against imps? What was their problem?
Huffing, he cut another piece of bleeding steak and checked out the other students.

Anna's cafeteria tray was overflowing. Lately, she'd felt like she was always hungry. Really, she knew it was just because she was growing, and that adolescents of any species tended to eat like bottomless pits, but sometimes the amount of food she could put away disconcerted even her. It was certianly difficult to get it to the table! The witchling took small, careful steps, one eye on the food, one eye on the room around her.
... There. Empty seat. She didn't really care who it was with, as long as she could put the tray down. Gingerly, she lowered the tray to the table. "Um, can I sit here?" she asked, though even as she spoke she was sitting down. "If that's okay with you?"

It wasn't every day that some little number came to sit with him, and he was momentarily surprised and then chalked it up to the fact the ghoul hadn't noticed him behind that mountain of delicious carbs.
As she asked, he just gave her a wide, many sharp-toothed grin. "As long as you promise to keep me company, then I don't mind at all." He glanced at her plate. "Did you work up a appetite?" You had to love a lady who used up a lot of energy.

"Y-yeah, I did," Anna said, looking down at her tray and feeling a little stupid. Still, she snatched a pumpkin roll off the top and took a bite, chewing rapidly. Mmm. "Just practicing my, um, my magic, and stuff. It takes a lot out of you, I guess."
Another bite while she thought, hard. Be brave, be brave- "My name's Anna," she offered, after swallowing. "Um, what's yours?" Gosh, meeting new people was hard! At least she could leave if she had to.

TG grinned. It wasn't every day a ghoul gave him his name. "TG. It's a pleasure to meet you, sweet cheeks." He glanced her from what he could see and what the table didn't block, and reached over to pluck a piece of raw steak off his plate and popped it into his mouth.
"What sorta magic? You a witch?" He pointed to the space above his head to point out the type of hat she was wearing. It was rather symbolic after all.

"Y-yes! Yes, exactly, I'm a witch," she said, hurriedly, blushing a bit. Sweet cheeks? What a funny thing to call someone... but kind of a nice thing? Maybe? "And you're a, um, a demon, yes? Horns and all?"
Ugh, she was so bad at this. So. Bad. "N-nice to meet you too..."

This was going better than he hoped, and he took his plate, walked over the table, and hoped down to set his plate back on the table so he could sit beside her. It was too much of a pain to talk to someone over a big table, and he really wanted to check her out. She had a pretty face. He couldn't tell a lot of her figure though from her big dress, and he frowned about all the layers she was wearing.
Still, he smiled again all the same because she was bashful and liked him - but who could blame her? He was hot stuff.
"Yup. Fire imp." He chewed on another cube of bloody meat as he sized her up again. "So do ya know any cool magic?"

Anna was startled when he got up and moved to sit beside her - startled, but kind of... sort of... happy? She wasn't sure if anyone had deliberately come to sit next to her before. Well, anyone that wasn't Freya or Sura or Chaya.
Well, anyone that wasn't a ghoul.
"I, um... I'm not sure if it's cool, um... it's kind of new to me, but. I do, um. Curses. And illusions, kind of. I'm still figuring out what I do, honestly, but I... like it so far?" It was true - using her magic now gave her a sense of delight, something sharp and wonderful that was utterly different from what she remembered of previous-Anna's tame magic. The curses that crackled in her hands were more alive than anything her past self had pulled out of the ground.
"So you do fire magic, right? Is it exciting?" she added, curiously.

"I'm still learning. I can hold a flame a little and make a fireball, but I can't make it really big or make it look like stuff. My one dad can make his into walls and ladies and make them dance." He frowned. "I've only had a bit of tutoring but they say not to push it when you're young. I can mess with it now though." Though he was, again, still learning.
"Curses sound awesome. Can you fly a broom?" He didn't know too many witches other than fire witches, and they tended to fly on fire. Anything wood just burned up.

"Your dad can make fire into... ladies?" Anna laughed, a genuine laugh that kind of startled her - but the mental image was just too funny. "How come? Does he use them to scare humans?"
She sighed a bit at the mention of the broom. "No. I have a friend who can, but... I don't think flying is something I do. I'm not really sure. I'm still learning what I can do..." She wasn't really sure what she was, or what she was becoming. Sometimes it was exciting, but if she thought about it too hard it turned kind of scary. Not that she was going to tell this imp that.

"You don't need to learn or know magic to scare humans. He does that for fun to entertain his friends. They're not that big though." He held his hands up to measure how big the fire ladies his dad made were, and they were about a foot and a half in size. "He makes them dance on tables." They were all cures and fire, and his dad was usually drinking when he showed it off with his friends. TG was going to learn that trick some day.

"Ummm..." That was a hard question, really. Anna knew, abstractly, what her parents did, but she had the vague sense that she should have - had had - some sort of Deep Emotional Connection with them, and now that was gone. Burned out with the rest of her past. "They live on a little farm-thing. I'm not going back there, though, so it doesn't matter too much." She waved one hand dismissively and oh look, there was her tray of food. She crammed most of a roll into her mouth.
The next minute was largely spent in trying to look ladylike while eating most of a roll in a single bite.

Seeing as the girl didn't do much in the way of manners, TG resumed eating how he normally would alone and tossed another bloody piece of steak in his mouth and chewed on it before scooting over. A girl was tolerating him for more than 5 minutes. Clearly she was into him.
"A farm sounds boring. You seem classy enough not to be some farmer. I could treat you real nice and better than some farm hand. How about you stick with me?" He swallowed down the lump of meat and licked his lips.

Anna finally finished consuming the roll; thankfully, the imp hadn't taken her rather graceless attempt at avoiding the subject as an insult. "Stick with you?" she asked, bemused. "What do you mean? You mean like... hang out? And stuff? I, um, that would be okay with me..."
Because sure, why not. He seemed like a nice enough boil. And he thought she was classy even though she'd just nearly killed herself on a dinner roll.
