PERSONALITY
Stephen is a passionate and opinionated young man. He stands by his beliefs fiercely, and is not afraid to speak his mind. Genuine and honest, morals play an important part in his life. He detests bullies, especially those who hold their power and wealth above others, and will rush to the rescue of a stranger without a second thought. He's a cheeky young man, always grinning and teasing. His favorite things? A large pint of ale and a beautiful woman to flirt with. He's a charming youth, but a rambunctious one, especially paired with Fallon. The two can be rather comedic, and are always finding themselves in some sort of trouble, usually thanks to Fallon.
BIO
Stephen knew from a young age that he was going to be a blacksmith. His father was a blacksmith, and even owned his own, small forge in Oldcastle, where he specialized in crafting weapons. Stephen adored his father; he aspired to be just like him, and often begged to accompany his father to the forge on days he worked. Often, his father complied, laughter ever present in his eyes. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when Stephen was six. On late night, on his way home from work, his father was assaulted, mugged, and left to die. The death of his father tore Stephen apart, but it also fanned the fire of his determination to one day take over his father's forge.
Two years later, his mother remarried, to a pompous merchant. The man was sleazy, greedy, and contradicting; entirely unlike his father. Stephen hated this man; hated him for marrying his mother, hated him for trying to take the place of his father, and hated him for the verbal, and sometimes physical, abuse he put his mother through. Stephen never understood why his mother married the man, but rather than dwell on matters he would never understand, he instead devoted his time to the forge. The man who took over was an older, retired friend of his father's, who had agreed to take ownership of the forge until Stephen was of age.
The man took Stephen in as his assistance, and Stephen worked diligently, arriving before dawn, and leaving well after dusk. He grew strong and proud, almost a mirror image of his late father. Although a bit rambunctious - which is only continuously encouraged by Fallon - he is good-natured, and diligent in his work. When Stephen was eighteen, the man finally decided Stephen was ready, and he stepped down, allowing Stephen to claim ownership of the forge. The forge is Stephen's pride and joy, and everyday, Stephen works harder still to honor the memory of his late father's memory.

Headstrong and steadfast, he embodies strength, but not wisdom. He walks tall and straight with the confidence that fills his heart, but is also rash and often unpredictable.
