Jason had been trying to learn as much as he could about the inner workings of the moon division. Ever since his promotion, he had been reading books about medical procedures, increasing his knowledge as much as possible, so that one day he could use that information when trying to help someone . Even though It was a giant leap from reading a book to applying said knowledge on a person, but he felt good about it. It was something he felt competent in doing. However, books were only going to get him so far, and he needed to familiarize himself with much of the technology on the hunter isle. And where better to do that then the life labs? Having been in the labs recently (more times then he'd like to admit), It was a easy task to locate them. But walking through the hallways, the moon trainee had to think about where he should start first.

Ami didn't like strangers. She hated "mingling" and having to meet people. Making friends was absolutely out of the question, certainly. Above all things, Ami hated the unknown, and strangers? They were unknown.
So seeing a stranger in her neck of the woods wasn't pleasant. A moon coat, by the look of it. There was something oddly familiar about this man, but she couldn't put her finger on just what.
Squinting angrily, she left her little space (which was, at the moment, occupied by towers of books) and walked into the hallway to approach the moon hunter that had been wandering around for quite some time. The closer she got though, she realized that this person wasn't a stranger, not exactly. She didn't know the man at all, but she recalled going on a few missions with him. Wasn't he always hanging around with Solia? A hesitant look around. Hopefully that stupid death trainee wasn't here too. She wasn't in the mood for Solia's shenanigans.
Damn her inability to remember names. James? John? Something like that. Ami never had a very good memory for peoples' names or their faces, so all Jason got was, "Do you need some assistance?" It was probably said more gruffly than the way she was actually feeling. Ami just had a tendency to come off disgruntled. Oops.

The voice he heard was familiar of course, and when he turned around Jason had a faster time of remembering who it was, as he had met her before on numerous occasions. Or perhaps it was easier for him to remember since he had to borrow bandages off her during a mission? At gunpoint no less.
"Hello Ami" He said with a warm smile, which seemed to falter at her look of displeasure. For some reason she seemed...annoyed. He wasn't sure why thought, considering he hadn't done anything besides look around the life labs.
But since she offered. "Er, y-yeah, actually. I'm trying to familiarize myself with the life technology." He explained. "I'd figure it would be good to know how to use it." Especially as he'd like to use it more often.

Ami's eyes slitted in suspicion. A moon? Life technology? Oh no. That was a no-no.
"Why would you need to accustom yourself? You're a moon, you won't be working with our tech any time soon," she chided, looking at him with a cold eye. No hunter ever wanted to "play" with hunter tech. There was always a purpose, always a cost. Blackmail, prices. Everything had a reason.
She sized Jason up one more time. "So why do you really need it?"

Jason withered under Ami's cold stare, starting to second guess himself. She did have a point, he had only been promoted to a intermediate. It would taken him a long time to get to a full hunter status. Maybe he should come back at another time?
"W-w-well..." He could feel his stutter getting worse as his nerves got the better of him. "I was hoping...c-cause I'm a moon, and I need to know medical procedures...I thought there would be life tech....that would be used for medical purposes. L-like micro surgery."
Not that he had ever seen anyone do microsurgery here. But it was possible.

Ami raised an eyebrow in surprise. The explanation was surprisingly innocent, and downright useful. She appreciated the point he was trying to make, she just wished he'd make the point a bit faster.
"I see. Well I don't think I have the clearance to show you that technology," she confessed. "I can at least point you in the direction a few more ... experienced in the infirmary wing."
She gave Jason a look over and realized he probably didn't know which part of the labs he was even in. "You do realize you're in the development part of the lab, yes? Anything pertaining to medical procedures would be on the other side."

It didn't seem like Ami would be able to show him the technology he wanted, but at least she was going to point him in the right direction.
Ohgodpleasedon'tdirecthimtodrh. Jason looked ill at the prospect of asking the division lead anything. But at least he remembered his manners. "T-thankyou..."
At the news that he was even in the wrong part of the building, the moon trainee frowned. "O-oh..I see...." His gaze wandered the area trying to look into some of the rooms. So is this where they did all the research.
Jason didn't want to find out.

Ami rolled her eyes once more. Clearly Jason had no idea what he was doing. She hated seeing trainees like this- it was so pathetic. Nobody had held her hand through the process, so having to hold this toddler's hand was a pain in the a**.
"Right. You want to find Marcus- he's a moon hunter, you should know him. Either that or- and I can't believe I'm saying this- Robert. He's a life hunter, but from what I've heard he's been sulking around the infirmary more than most"
She sighed and said, "Why are you so nervous? I'm not going to eat you."

Inwardly Jason sighed as the names were given to him, realizing the obvious choice would of been to ask them. Though he had hoped to find some of this information by himself, it would make more sense to ask a senior moon who worked in the infirmary. Though he could not remember Marcus talking about life technology that directly helped with healing. Besides the runic bandages. "O-of course. I know of him" he said with much awkwardness. Which increased when Ami asked him why he was being so.
"Umm...I-it's just me." Brilliant answer on his part.

Jason didn't know what was worse at this moment; getting stared down by Ami, or getting dating advice from his weapon. He decided to go with the third option of combining both and getting murdered as a result.
As to weather he had any more questions about life tech, he did not. Though he was rather curious about something...
"Are...you researching anything at the moment?

"Oh, No reason" Jason said. "I was just curious, thats all. Since you guys are tasked with researching and creating runic technology, I just thought you might have been working on something really interesting." Zanth made a few suggestions in his head, which made the moon trainee grimace and shake his head. Because he really didn't want to see 'those' kinds of things modified with rune technology.

"We're always working on something interesting." She gave him a sharp look. "Whether or not you're allowed access is different."
She sighed, turning towards the labs. "I'm working on translating some books. Try not to look too excited." So it wasn't exactly blowing things up and creating new technology. Ami liked her quaint job, and liked it very much, thank you.

"O-oh, of course not." Jason held his hands up submissively. "I wouldn't expect to be allowed to see such restricted content. I am only a moon trainee after all." At least he wasn't a beginner. Though the moon trainee appeared far from bored at the mention of translating books. "That does sound kinda fun actually." He commented. "And I would imagine it would be very important. Books contain a lot of information, and perhaps some of these books would hold secrets on how to fight the horsemen or Halloween. You might find something vital."
