I'll read anything with a bit of mystery, if it has a good author. I tend to read the more childish fantasy books a lot, but I prefer things like Dan Brown and Joanne Harris for the beauty of their work. I do love Alice in Wonderland though.
I love quasi-religious stuff, but I find it's hard to get a hold of. That's why I read the religiously based manga (I have to like the art as well as the story).
And may I ask why you lack spaces after your punctuation?

Science Fiction/Fantasy/Textbooks. Pretty much any thing except: Mortal Engines. That book made me puke.

I like fantasy/science fiction and re-written fairy tales (Zel or Beast by Donna Jo Napoli for instance). I read almost anything, but those genres are my favorites.

Hmmmm...I like horror. I also like science fiction, to an extent. And classic, origional, unedited fairy tales, like Grimm's tales. Folk tales have always apealed to me, and urban ledgends to an extent. (If your wondering how urban ledgends have to relate to books, I have 5 words for you; Wierd NJ, and Wierd US (Ok, maybe 7, depending on how you look at it), so there.) But I'm not very picky.

Such a complicated question stare
Well..first I thought that my favorite was mystery/action and I stayed away from Fantasy and Horror. But then I read "The Theif Lord" which is a fantasy book as well as one of my favorite books now. So I started getting into more of the fantasy genre but still stayed away from Horror stuff because I thought I didn't like it. After a while, that changed too, after I read the Cirque du Freak series. So as of now, I don't know what my favorite genre is sweatdrop

The Thief Lord was a wonderful book. Personally I'm more interested in Nonfiction books around the time of Henry XIII in England. Then again, Carolyn Meyer did an awesome series that was mostly Fiction about that time. I also liked Wicked, Mirror, Mirror, and Confessions of an Ugly Step-sister. My favorite author is Robert Rankin, and he's a Fiction writer. My favorite book, The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apacolypse, is by him. So, in general, I like most books you throw my way.

Mine is fantasy, and sometimes sci-fi, but it has to be realistic and believable or I can't stomach it. evil

Science fiction and fantasy I would have to say for me, though I can't resist a bit of detective novels every so often. At the moment I'm reading Greg Bear Darwin's Children, has anybody else?

I love vampire fantasies...Mixed with a little romance, and a lot of action. Comedy's got to be in there, too...Hmmm...I think that counts as a genre...My own kind, I guess...I also like certain classical books...I admit, I have seriously been wanting to read The Portrait (or is it Picture? I have seen it both ways) of Dorian Grey...

I'm a sucker for anything funny, and I read a lot of non-fiction (mostly things on subjects like linguistics and biology). I'm also very fond of sci-fi and fantasy.
