Sol didn't talk very much to others. Right now he had two cheetahs he was willing to talk to, Ajani and Hanako. For a while though, he didn't really feel like talking to anyone. Ever since his mother came to the pride, he had been hiding out in his den, avoiding her and his siblings. Some of his siblings were cool with her arrival to the pride, while others kept their distance. He lost his cool and kept his distance from her. Right now he just pretended that she didn't exist and that she would figure out that he wanted nothing to do with her.
That might work if she wasn't a dimwit, Sol thought, as he made his way to the entertainers dens. He kept to the shadows in hopes he wouldn't be seen. If someone from his family saw him they would want to talk to him about the issue at hand. Right now he didn't want to talk about his family problems. It was the last thing he wanted.
Usually he would try and get things off his chest, but he didn't want to delve into his family issues with either Hanako or Ajani. They both listened already to so many of his problems. He couldn’t stack more of his issues on them. Right now he wanted to build his relationship with them. He wanted a real working relationship with someone, one where they didn't use each other, one where there was trust between them. He would have to work on rebuilding his friendship with Ajani, but there was still hope for him and Hanako.
He already felt that there was some trust between them. Typically he didn't trust entertainers, but she had been different. He felt that he could tell her his secrets and she would keep them. There was a lot of admiration he held for her. “Okaa-san Hanako, Are you around?” Sol asked, keeping his good eye looking for her.
