Frost wasn't sure what he was seeing. The cafeteria never cleaned out this fast. Ever. This was to him, impossible. No meat left, only vegetarian and vegan left. The ghost sniffed the air and frowned, ears pinning back. He only smelled greens and fruits behind the lunch counter. Not a scrap of meat in sight. Maybe this was just an oversight. They had to have some meat.
No, they told him, they gave the last meat meal away just a few minutes ago. A whimper forming in the back of his throat it escaped as Frost looked around to see if maybe someone had some leftovers. The lack of meat was a plight. He couldn't go hunting in his suit, and lunch would be over in twenty some odd minutes. There was a heaven on Halloween and he'd found it.

The lunch lady was a robot. One of those mechanical creations made entirely out of steam and the lightest amounts of Fear. Maybe even, and here he shuddered, magic. This was the only way to explain how mechanical and entirely blank actions.
It had all started about fifteen minutes prior to Frost's plight when Zero had found his way to the almost-abandoned cafeteria to wandering around, jotting down notes before coming to a stop in front of an elderly lady.
"Meat?" She had said, almost in a sickly-sweet tone.
"Before we get started", Zero had said, politely, "I wish to inform you being of the spectral variety, I do not actually-"
PLOP-
- Before he could protest further a giant pile of red chunky questionable contents had already been dropped into a tray and shoved at the first year. Blinking several times, he took the items anyway, mostly because she wouldn't stop staring at him, and partially because he could have sworn the meat had started making faces at him, making him extremely curious as to how it even managed to sustain itself. He walked out of the cafeteria-
- To come back a second time for more samples. And then a third. And then a fourth. After the one-hundredth time he had lost track but the lady still hadn't said anything, which thus lead to his second conclusion that she was a robot. There was also a giant pile of thoroughly examined meat half-buried outside the ghost dorm but that was another story for another time.
Which lead the the present time situation of Zero walking back into the cafeteria to interact with the robotic ghost. "Yes, I would like some more samples of those red, meaty specimens, if you would please. Preferably the ones that have already started moving." He waited patiently, not really noting Frost, or really, not really that interested.

"I'm sorry dearie, but we don't have any more meat." Frost couldn't help the growl that bubbled up from the back of his throat. Outrage, scandle, meat was a staple of every diet. Okay maybe not but he thought it should be. Meat was delicious and worth any sort of suffering. At the notice of another boil trying to get meat as well, Frost huffed. "They say they do not have any meat." Arms crossed, the one ghost looked to the other. "But if you have already have some, taking more is disheartening to those who have not had any." He stared. "Unless you mean something else."

Yes well, it was evident from the lack of new samples he was being given that the robotic ghost had clearly run out of supplies, or potentially robot ghost fuel. Neither of these points were worthy of scientific reasoning, nor was some student trying to address him. "I mean," He clarified, "My samples, nothing more, nothing less. I only took what was enough for my scientific process and I guarantee in an estimate thirteen to sixteen hours my remaining meat specimens will fuse beautifully together to create a new existence." Zero gave Frost a sort of half-crazed look. "I am taking these meaningless, unfulfilled creations and giving them life."

Red eyes narrowed as Frost considered just what this boil was saying. Samples. Plural. He had indeed, taken more than one serving. Food for experiments. A waste of meat to the wolfos. Waste not, or want a very angry wolfos. Perhaps not angry so much as frustrated and hungry. "If I am understanding what you are saying," Frost began, a look of judgement evident on his face, "you got meat, and have stowed it away somewhere in th hopes that in half a day's time, you will have a creature of your own making." Frost wasn't quite sure why anyone would want a creature made of meat. Aside from eating at any rate. "That is a horrible idea. Even if it worked you'd just have a living lump of meat. Which then would be akin to dinner."

Zero missed Frost's accusation entirely, taking it for something else. The sheer thought that anyone could be so selfish as to think of themselves first before science simply did not exist in his spectral brain. "Yes, yes exactly!" He agreed, still amiable, objective. "Think of the possibilities! If these specimens were to combine together to create a super specimen think of all that I would have created! A new life, fused together through Fear and experimentation, given meaning into this world! I would become it's master and together would do the greatest thing one could do with their creation-"
Zero leaned in super close, and whispered it in an excited sort of hush-hush voice. "I'm going to dissect it molecule by molecule."

This boil was clearly ailed in the mind. Meat beings were beings that were not meant to be. Not unless they became a sustainable food source. At which point Frost would accept them and use them like any other prey beast. "A super speciemen.. A super living body of lunch meat. To what it's meaning would be I can only guess." This boil being anything's master seemed like a bad idea. "Well, Master, maker, creator, father- depends on how it viewed you and you raise it I sup-" Words cut short by the whisper, Frost stared, slightly shocked. "You would have it made... only to be dismantled?" Head tilted, Frost was confused as to why one would dissect their own creation.

"So I can make a better one, of course," Zero concluded, as if this was the most logical train of conversation. "The art of science only stagnantes if the scientist themselves is happy with their most pioneer prototypes, instead of creating something far greater, forever improving the-"
CRASH. BANG.
Oddly enough, this seemed to come from right outside the cafeteria. It also smelled of ripe meat- a lot of ripe meat.
"-.... I seem to have miscalculated." The spectral wolf finished, in an almost apologetic tone.

"A better one? What would it do the-" The crash had Frost jumping ear alert and tail poofing up and his head snapped in the direction of the sound. ".....That smells horrible." Not the worst, but fresh was better than.. experimental. "..... On the off chance that there is now a giant meat beast roaming the campus, how would you intend to deal with it?" He was curious, and slightly concerned the plan would just be punching things. Punching things didn't always work.

"Well, this is purely hypothetical speculation," Zero began, rubbing his chin, "but I would theorize that dealing with it would depend on the size and-"
- "MEAT!!!" shouted a voice somewhere outside, or rather boomed it. "IF YOU CAN'T EAT MEAT I WILL EAT YOU."
The ground shook a little, even inside the cafeteria as a now pungent smell of rotting Fear permeated into the school via the lunchroom doorways. A flash of a giant foot made of rotting meat could be seen through the open doors. The lunch lady seemed to give it however, absolutely no notice, muttering instead about how Moonday's surprise meatloaf was spoiled again.
"That is a very unusual question," Zero concluded. "Might I ask what prompted such an strange and abstract line of reasoning?"

Depending on the size and what? Frowning a bit, Frost looked out the door and- How much meat did Zero hypothetically just bring to life? A stare at the ghost dog, Frost just accepted that sometimes it was best to to go sniffing around for answers to everything. "Well... sometimes I guess FEAR does things... and like anything be unpredictable. Plus I think your creation has been left unattended too long." Red eyes flicked to the door. "We might need to dissect it sooner than later I would guess. Before it wrecks everything... or stinks up the campus." His nose wouldn't be able to handle that.

Zero totally did not catch Frost's train of thought, or his line of vision towards the door. There was some screaming outside now, that seemed to involve the words 'IT LIVES AGAIN' and 'HELP A COLOSSAL MEAT TITAN!'.
"Dissect?" he repeated, entirely oblivious. "There are many things for me to dissect. For example, the state of your attire is a mystery to me, how does fabric stay so white and glossy? I must know-"
-Fortunately even he was interrupted by the floor shaking, finally noting the foot of the Colossus-type Meat Titan. "... That is odd. Have you noticed this pile of meat on the ground strongly resembles a shape of a Humanoid foot?"
The foot moved and then rammed against the sides of the cafeteria door, pieces of meat that made it through gushing everywhere in detached fragments, spraying everyone inside.

Frost paused in his step to look at Zero. To give the other canine a slow look, wondering if perhaps, the dog had eaten one to many bacon strips. ".....Dissect yes. And I wash my suit regularly, not to mention being a ghost not many things stick and all that. I can also turn myself into snow which helps separate myself from- well actually come to think of it I'm not entirely sure why I remain clean a majority of the time." The sudden meat foot did set his own thoughts back on track. ".....I did not, not until you mentioned it. Screaming yes, meat foot no." The kick that sent meat over everything and everyone was met with Frost shaking (like a dog), then pulling out a small handkerchief and wiping his face. "How rude." He offered the cloth to Zero. ".... Part of me says we should try to fight it, the other says just to take what meat there is, eat it, and be content."
