This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Theodore. Only a member of staff or Petite Colette should post here.

Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.
To battle, first make a post rolling the die stating only the action that you are doing. Once the total has been calculated, go edit the post with an actual short paragraph of action.
Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

When he heard that a group of volunteers were going to free some humans from their malice captives, Theo was right on board. Any excuse to get out of the academy and do something for bragging rights was an excuse he was going to take. This is not to say he would do well... he'd be fighting with his fists and a wealth of unearned confidence in his own abilities.
This would prove true right off the bat. He was staring down his human opponent when suddenly a barrage of flames came his way. Of course, Theo should have expected that to happen considering the glowing red eyes and the fact they were in a fight, but the suddenness still seemed to freak him out. His master plan to phase through the flames was put into effect too late, and he was already scorched before he slipped through the tail end of the attack.
He phased back with a look of horror on his face as he batted flames down on his clothes. "Oh my GOD, are you kidding me?!"

He smirked, it was going to be fun crushing this one into dust. He inhaled deeply, and then opened his mouth, unleashing a massive stream of fire at Theo.

Theo never performs well under pressure. Having someone attempt to roast him alive kind of freaked him out - and also made him pretty mad. He'd show that malice a reason to smirk, that smug piece of--
He had called down a swarm of stinging insects, who gathered in a rough formation to fly down into the face of the enemy. Unfortunately, Theo did that instead of moving out of the way, and spent the next few moments panicking and rolling on the ground to smother the flames he was engulfed in.

The swarm of insects was something that quickly took his smirk away as he tried to swat and burn them away but many still stung him. He would make the kid pay. Once he gotten rid of most of the pestering insects he shot a few baseball fireballs towards Theo.
