This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Morpheus. Only a member of staff or Pidgeons Go Meow X3 should post here.

Additional notes: Because none of Morpheus's weaknesses were legitimate weaknesses, for the purposes of the Metaplot his weakness is Water since he is fire based.

Additional notes: Possessed by a Water elemented Malice. Base attack of 3d6
Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.
To battle, first make a post rolling the die stating only the action that you are doing. Once the total has been calculated, go edit the post with an actual short paragraph of action.
Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

"Good God, you don't look too friendly, now do 'ya?" Morpheus muttered, eyeing the human with great caution. He stood his ground and began summoning balls of fire, juggling them as if they were simple carnival props. As the water attack zeroed in on him he began flinging ball after ball and dodging backwards after each throw. Towards the end of the attack he dropped one of his fire balls and got his shoulder drenched with water. "AUGH, WONDERFUL!" He growled.
Action: Defense (Balls of fire)

Damage Done: Damage taken = 3 (Defense rolled = 8, Attacker rolled 11, 11 - 8 = 3)

She giggled, but it wasn't a good sound. It sounded malicious, evil to the core. His display was amusing, but it was time for her to take him down. She summoned more water, forming it into a whip of sorts before lashing out, aiming for his feet.

"Naaaa! Jump! Ah!" Morpheus leaped up and down as quickly as he could in order to avoid getting hit by the water "whip." He managed to avoid five "cracks" from the whip, but slipped on the wet terrain and received the rest of the attack as a result. "AUUUUGH! OW! OW! CEASE THIS, YE EVIL MONGREL!"
Action: Defense (Natural: Jumping into the air to avoid the attack)

She continued to whip after him, he couldn't jump forever. She had him right where she wanted him, and definitely wasn't about to let up. A wide malicious grin spread across her face.

After being lashed a few more times, Morpheus finally hopped far enough away from the whip in order to plan a way to strike back. Seconds later his hair started to waft around as if it were windblown and an overwhelmingly strong scent of Potpourri filled the entirety of the air around the battlefield. He smirked at his adversary and arched an eyebrow.
"I should hope you enjoy the scent of Christmas, my friend!" He exclaimed.
Action: Attack (Potpourri? No, Morpheus - Choke the foe)

The stench was nearly unbearable, it was starting to give her a headache. In retaliation she summoned up a ball of water above his head and had it burst.

"Oh, hell!" Morpheus squeaked. He summoned fire ball after fire ball and flung them upwards against the splashes of water raining down on him. He managed to avoid over 95% of the attack but got his other shoulder drenched at the end. "Ack, wonderful!" He muttered, his eyes rolling over to the side. That's when he spied an electrical pole and arched an eyebrow. Could this be of any use?

Damage Done: Attacker rolled 15, Defense rolled 18 - 5 for attack foe is resistant to = 13, 15 - 13 = 2 damage taken.

Although Morpheus had been knocked over again by the whip he had conjured up three moderately sized flames. Each took on a humanoid shape and began to dance around as if they were laughing. "Oi, oi! OOOOIIII!" Morpheus screamed, pointing at his foe. "YOU. DISTRACT ENEMY!" He then pointed at the electrical pole. "YOU TWO. BURN THAT POLE TO THE GROUND!"
The fire imp assigned to the for spun around and began to jump up and down to avoid being hit with the water whip. This gave Morpheus time to jump up and move to follow the other imps.
The other imps, relishing in the idea of being able to burn something down, raced over to the pole and burnt in to the ground. Soon after, they joined the third imp and began to taunt the foe by wiggling their behinds at her. Morpheus sighed at them but quickly burnt a few wires and grasped one in each hand. "Oi! Ready for a shock?!"
Action: Attack (Gah! Fire Imps! - Send two to destroy electrical pole's base; Send one to distract enemy)
Current HP: 24/75
Damage Done: 7, but the damage was done to the pole.

Well, since he was so busy focusing on the pole and the imps weren't actually hurting her, she decided to play with the weather. She summoned up a raincloud and started up a torrential downpour over the area.

The rain completely drenched Morpheus and caused him to grow dizzy. He decided it would be best to charge forward with the wires in hand and stab at his enemy, hoping to stun them just enough to attack again.

She figured she could take the hit considering how obviously worn out this kid was. As soon as he got close enough she summoned up two pillars of water, which she then brought down on the two of them.

Morpheus knew then that he had been beaten. His wits had been out matched and he may as well give up right then and there. He jabbed his foe one last time before plummeting to the ground like a sack of bricks.
