This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Marisol. No one but a member of the staff or Pidgeons Go Meow X3 should post in here.

Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.

Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

Marisol scrunched up her nose at her foe and smirked. This would be easy! She could do anything! She braced herself for the attack and summoned a cinnamon dust tornado to cover her body. The tornado provided a shield for the brunt of the attack but managed to make her stumble. She rose from the ground with a devilish grin.
"Is that all you got?" She shouted.
Action: Defense (Cinnamon Powder Storm - Tornado around her body)
Current HP: 46/50
Damage Done: Damage taken = 4 (Defense rolled: 10, Attacker rolled 14, 14 - 10 = 4)

The human didn't respond verbally, but her face twisted into a malicious grin. The air near her condensed, and then burst forward so quickly a shrieking sound resonated in the area.

"Aaaaagh!" Marisol hadn't had the time to block the attack! She was thrown backwards and towards an electrical pole where she was able to pull herself up again. She grimaced and summoned as much cinnamon dust as she could before propelling herself forward, throwing a direct blade-like attack towards the foe's eyes.
Action: Attack (Burn Baby Burn - Aiming to blind the foe)

She hadn't expected the cinnamon dust, and so hadn't properly prepared a defense. She recoiled, hissing angrily. Even with her eyes blinded though, she could still hear where the little nuisance was. She sent another blast of condensed air in Marisol's direction.

Marisol was quick to form a half dozen hand held tornadoes to deflect the next attack she would be thrown. The tactic worked for a short while until she ran out of tornadoes, and was only mildly pushed back towards the electric pole. Orange eyes darted up toward the wires above her head and narrowed, a smirk forming her face. Perhaps she should use her terrain to her advantage.
Action: Defense (Cinnamon Powder Storm - Smaller tornadoes to push the condensed air away)

Since she was still blinded, all she could do was send another blast of air in Marisol's direction, followed up by a few mini twisters.

Marisol took a deep breath and leaped upwards towards to power lines. Quickly she summoned a thin amount of cinnamon powder and used it to cut one of the power lines before landing safely back on the ground. Knowing that her foe was still somewhat impaired she lunged forward and flung the electrical wire around them. Then she hopped back to the electrical pole for cover.

She couldn't see the power line coming and so took the brunt of the attack, screeching out in pain. But soon after she recovered from the cinnamon powder in her eyes, giving her sight back. She summoned up a twister, intending for it to grab Marisol and slam her against a wall.

"Yaaaa!" Marisol had taken the attack at full force. Her body slammed against the wall of a building, breaking one of her shoulders. She screeched and summoned as much cinnamon powder as she possibly could, causing the air in the battle field to turn a ruddy orange color. Slowly, she shuffled forward, the scent steadily increasing as she moved. While the air became denser and denser, Marisol made herself a few mini twisters and eyed the electrical wire, hoping for another "surprise" attack.

She pushed through the cinnamon wave, summoning up a couple of more twisters to send after Marisol. She was not about to get shocked again.

Marisol was taken aback by the twisters, but shoved through them with as much force as she could muster. She created a huge cinnamon dust shield around her body as she dove for the electrical wire and hurled herself at her foe again.

She launched herself back, floating with the wind before sending a new twisted at Marisol.
