Theo here, dropping a music thread! This thread is a place for you to share your favorite types of music, artists and tracks! Go ahead and describe/discuss what you like and post links to some of your favorites!
Feel free to share any type of music, but:
1. Refrain from overly negative/elitist/hipster comments. Someone's music may not be your cup of tea, but please be tolerant. Mild criticism is welcomed, but nobody should ever be made to feel bad about the music they choose to listen to. On the other hand, if you've liked a genre/song/artist for quite a while and a newer fan posts about them here, welcome them to your fandom! Don't shun people because they were late to the party!
2. Explicit music is fine, but please tag links as NSFW if you feel that they fit the description. Tagging links is at your own discretion, but please note that you may be asked to tag retroactively.
3. Do NOT promote music piracy here. (The eye-patch and peg leg variety is still welcome) Self-explanatory.

Excellent! Ienjoyed each of the links! I am not too savy of modern music but it looks like you are into electric styles. I liked the dramatic feel of Far Away by Camo & Krooked and I really liked Through the Looking Glass by Logistics. It had a spy film feel to it! I am into a lot of early electronic and synth pop. New Order, Futurisk, Kraftwerk and Devo are all good 80's choices. Pioneers of the music you posted. Also some new ones I like are Craft Spells, Experimental Aircraft and Future Islands. @Alex Trevell: Cool stuff, I used to listen to Linkin Park a looooong time ago. I still like "What I've Done." A couple good bands for you to check out would be (if you don't already know them) Thousand Foot Krutch and We Were Promised Jetpacks. @ Nights: Wowza! That is eclectic! I am not into heavy metal but I do like some (classic) punk and definitely some folk and Celtic! Ever heard of The Clash or the Jam? They are classic punk groups, the best in my opinion! The only recent punk band that I like is Stance Punks, they are okay. I like the Irish Rovers (Celtic) and plenty of folk ranging from Simon and Garfunkel and The Byrds to Sean Flynn and the Royal We (a definite must!)
