Once the Mist Lounge was set in a hidden room, accessible only to Mist Hunters by invitation. After life as usual on Deus Ex it was a secret to everybody, so much to the point that the trick wall that hid it was removed and replaced with a standard door. It wasn't anyplace special, but it was theirs.
The seemingly secondhand furniture had been pulled and moved around to form a rough circle, the runic TV shut off and shoved against the wall out of the way. There were several Mist hunters there already, chatting and hogging the coffee machine before claiming a seat.
Aria was currently sitting on the armrest of a chair, her feet resting in the seat of it. Her runic cellphone was cradled snug between her ear and shoulder, eyes narrowed as she furiously scribbled indecipherable notes on the notepad in front of her.
Lance was nowhere to be seen.

The message was received and Roland was quick to head to the lounge, he couldn't wait for a chance to be around the other Mists. When he arrived he found a few hunters wandering around the room, most of them he didn't know and most of them simply looked at him with a passive note of 'oh that guy' nothing to see here, just the littlest mist boy.
He did notice Aria and paused to offer her a polite wave, moving to make himself a cup of coffee and see who else would join them at the meeting that he might actually know.

Candace had been up the entire night before reading books she'd taken from the library. There had been...somewhat recent events that had sparked some interest in a particular subject for her. A subject that she could possibly multitask with if she was ambitious.
And come on, this is Candace. She's always ambitious.
She almost slept through the text if not for Molly at some point having put the phone by her head. How thoughtful of her. Permissions? Hmmm! That could come in handy, yeah. And things had gotten so hectic she never did have a chance to talk to Aria again about specializing in anything. She got ready quickly, looking fresh and awake by the time she arrived in the Mist lounge. Coffee please. She greeted a few of the Mist hunters as she entered, spotting Ro not too far off.
"Yo~."

Nevada yawned as she entered the meeting room. The first and foremost thing to find was a comfy resting spot.
"Roland~" Nevada rubbed at her eyes, pulling her hunter jacket tight around herself. Not out of the chill but because it seemed she was around very active and ambitious Mist hunters.
Since she was new though, she had come to observe and to listen.
And to use Roland's shoulder as a resting spot.
"Hello Pretty lady~" Nevada gave a half wave to Candace, as well as a lazy smile.

For once the little one had not been woken from a nap by her vibrating cellphone. Noting her unpredictable weapon charge and its habit of destruction (always upon herself, only sometimes upon whatever she was poking), the trainee had begun to force herself to do some training. Sometimes Stormy ran the Shadow Run again when the target dummies didn't give her enough normal practice, as was the case today. When she stumbled out of the labs with a few new scratches and a whole lot of sweat, she happily welcomed the thought of flopping down with her division and actually, you know, socializing for once.
Too bad this was her first time getting to the Lounge. Even with a door out in the open, Stormy took an extra ten minutes wandering Deus until she found a fellow Mist and followed after like a sweaty, sleepy-eyed puppy.
Avoiding the coffee machine like the plague (she knew full well what caffeine did to her system in that sort of quantity), she flopped down across from several other Hunters, sliding her uniform scarf off and using it to dab at her forehead as she caught her breath. Her other hand went digging around in her coat, pulling out her personal journal and secured pen from within. Wait, she carried that around when training . . . ?
< < We were . . . What is the phrase now? 'On a roll'? Mine thoughts remain hopeful this meeting is swift. > >
Stormy just yawned.

After making sure Miss Candace was set and taken care of that morning, Molly had been off to complete her line of duties. Not one to miss out in such an important gathering like this though, she was mindful of the time. Also not wanting to be late, the mist trainee ended up nearly barreling through the mist lounge door, slowly her stride to catch herself and then looked around sheepishly before carefully closing the door behind her. Oh good, not late!
She ended up wandering closer to the little gathering of hunters she was somewhat familiar with... Meaning Candace. That didn't stop her from beaming brightly at the others around her though and giving them a wave. "Good day everyone!" She piped up cheerfully. "I hope you're all doing well!"

As more trainees and Hunters filed in Candace sipped at her coffee and watched them, curious if there were any newcomers she hadn't met yet. There was one! A sleepy looking trainee who looked pretty new. She grinned at Nevada and waved to the girl. "Hey, Nevada~. How are you, dear?"And then Molly arrived. Candace perked up and set her coffee down on the counter in favor of going over to her friend and draping her arms over the girl's shoulders. "Hi there, pretty girl." Candace teased, placing a chaste kiss to her cheek. "Wanna come meet some newbies with me~?" She definitely wanted to meet the sleepy looking girl she'd never seen before.

Meeting time. That wouldn't end up too bad, right? Like she wouldn't end up there and then suddenly everything explode and they would have to replace a wall or something...right? She kind of hoped not. A little chat with all the girls (sorry guys in the division, you were a lady until you earned the right to not be) while she kept herself from just..exploding with excitement.
Soon.
In fact, it looked like several people were already there once Cass arrived, waving with a small smile as she found a seat and settled in.
"Man, I can't get over having an actual turn-out when Mists get together anymore."

"I'm okay Candace." The mist trainee gave another lazy smile and then turned her head to the other newcomers. There was a bright green, redheaded girl she had never seen before. She studied Molly a bit and then turned to Cass who seemed to be one of the only other full hunters in the lounge.
"I heard the mist were a little low on the numbers for the team, I'm even a little surprised to see others. I only know Roland and Candace. I didn't realize either that there was so many ladies in Mist?" Nevada yawned, "Excuse me~ My name is Nevada, what's your name hun?"

Cass smiled. "Oh, we're all ladies in the Mist Division until we decide otherwise." she joked. "Except Lance. He's the only man in the division." She'd apologize to Roland but she'd been making this joke forever.
"Used to be we'd have a meet up and there'd be like....two of us..." Cass laughed, shooting a look Candace's way. "I'm Cass - Cassandra." she offered a hand. "Nice to meetcha."

Roland/Rolland? Nevada. Candace/Candice. Cass/andra. Lance.
Scribble scribble scribble went her pen. For good measure, Stormy stole glances up from her journal and began to sketch profiles as best one can with little experience and a thick bleeder of a utensil. It was handy they kept introductions going and saved her the trouble of mumbling who was who and looking stupid and not cool. Or you know what, talking at all for that matter.
Socializing.

Cass' arrival was met with a grin and a wave from Candace. "I know, right?" She'd met a couple Mists aside from Cass on missions but she was right. Usually when Aria wanted them there weren't very many of them; either they were too busy to leave the posts they were assigned or just unavailable for some reason or another. "And yeah, Mist's always been mostly ladies. Lance is our Unicorn."
The sleepy looking girl was writing something. Hmmm~? What's this? Candace gave Molly another kiss on the cheek before she let the girl go, making her way across the room to where Sleeping Beauty was going crazy in her little notebook.
"Whatcha doin' over here?"

The division leader ended her conversation suddenly, dropping the phone into the same seat she rested her heeled feet on. She continued to write on her notepad, turning the page to continue her thoughts before at last turning to a fresh page. "All right, ladies and trainees!" Aria announced, looking up. "Let's get started."
"For new trainees - and hunters - welcome to the Quarterly Meeting. Here you can propose projects to work on, or volunteer to help out with others. Depending on your experience, you may be granted or denied privileges. Who wants to go first? As Mists, anything's on the table."
