Zephyr had made his way to the lake as usual, sitting down in the shallow end of it and crossing his legs and letting his wings relax and his tail wrap around his legs as he closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath, he let it out slowly and started to focus on clearing his mind as the cool morning air flowed past him. The dragon had taken up the habit of finding calm places to meditate and focus on things that he was trying to remember, but as of late with all the chaos of the recent events outside of the Academy walls, he was having an issue with that. Zephyr had been flying about to find nice spots, but with the recent events, he decided it'd be best to return to the grounds and find spots there.
The small lake where he had met Fred was a good spot and it was a place to relax as well as cool off during the heat of the midday sun.

It was just like any other day for Ariel, wondering off to go for a swim at the lake. It was one of the ways she could relax and get her mind off of things. She had even made sure to take off her clothes this time so they wouldn't get wet. How she hated the feeling of wet clothes on her body. Sadly she had forgotten her bathing suit but she didn't mind one bit. She actually didn't understand why people were so worried about being naked. It was just a body and nothing to freak out about but she at least listened and out on close out at public.
After some time of swimming around Ariel was now just floating around as she looked at the sky. Today had proved to be a little boring but just as she was going to give up hope she saw something flying in the sky. Her eyes stayed glued to the figure as it landed. Quietly like a ninja Ariel began to swim in closer, making sure to try and stay out of sight so she could study the other. As she did she noticed that it was a meta just like her, well maybe like exactly like her but it was another meta for sure. He looked to be a whole lot bigger with fire like hair and looks like a dragon. Ariel grew curious as Zephyr looked to be meditating.
Wanting a closer look she sunk into the water while using her elemental like powers to not be so easily seen. She giggled to himself as she thought of an idea on how to greet him. She would pop out and scare him just to get the chance to see the expression he would be making. She was only a few feet away as she waited for the right moment. Seeing her chance she took it and jumped from the water as she shouted, "I've have come to reel in your soul to the bottom of the lake." Her act didn't stop there was she was actually going to pretend to do so. Though when her arms wrapped around him she looked up to see the look on his face and her heart skipped a beat. "So handsome," she said aloud in a whisper.

Zephyr didn't budge as he was tackled, his body and mind still as he opened his eyes to look at the rather naked girl that was clinging to him. As she alone, he sighed and closed his eyes as a light blush came across his face, "Well hello to you too, miss."he said curtly.

It took some time for Ariel to properly react but when she did she was blushing quite deeply. Even her hold of Zephyr was release as she moved away and back into the water trying hard to look anywhere else but the guy in front of her. She knew that if she did her heart would want to go crazy and it scared her, it actually scared her a bit since it also made her speechless. She just stood there feeling like a fool.
Balling his hands into fist she kept her gaze down as she bit her lip. "S-shell up you w-weirdo," She didn't mean to be so rude and mentally she was kicking her self for saying that but she couldn't even try to take it back.

The dragon couldn't help but chuckle slightly as he heard her little fish pun, a small smile on his lips as he opened his eyes to look at her, keeping his gaze high enough so he didn't see any part of her she didn't want him to see, though the blush was still there. "Well thank you for stating that I'm a weirdo, I didn't know that." he chuckled slightly before closing his eyes again, moving his wings around a bit before resting the larger thumb claw on his scaled shoulders like he normally did, his leathery wings turning into a cloak of sorts.
Even though he was calm, the girls presence was effecting him and he wasn't quite sure how or why - so he decided to play it cool until he could figure it out.

Ariel didn't understand how he could be so calm and she was losing her mind. It was only making her more frustrated than ever that she was now pouting while glaring at him. "How can he be so calm. Ugh you're making me jellyfish. So stop that you great big sperm whale and flip your shell too." She crossed her arms and only puffed up her cheeks. It wasn't fair for her to be the only one frustrated. She only wished she had brought out her big guns to deal with his though there was always just bending the water to her will. She had gotten better with her practicing and coming to the lake often.

Zephyr chuckled a little more, "It's easier to be calm and try and figure out why you want to flip out than right out flip out. Not to mention, it's not a good idea if I freak like most people." he said calmly as he closed his eyes, shifting how he was sitting, his tail uncurling from his legs and his wings stretching. He seemed to yawn, but he was just stretching his jaw, though a small ball of flame formed between his lips as he did before it vanished as he closed his mouth. "Dragons aren't too friendly - makes me wonder why you're talking to me." he stated as he opened his eyes again, looking at her face.

"Oh he is so getting splashed," she thought but just as she was getting ready to focus on bending the water she heard what he said. An eyebrow rose as she looked at him. "Are you saying I would be scared of you? You're all big like a whale but you're as scary as a guppy. I could flood you like that." She motioned as the water made a small wave but everything she said was true at least she thought so. Sure her feelings scared her but that was it. "You must have some bubbles in your fish bowl." She motioned to his head. I'm as small like a gold fish but I'll tear you up like a great white. Ariel flashed a smile and placed her hands on her hips.

The dragon took that as a challenge and so he stood, his wings flaring out as he got into a horse stance, "You want to try that? Well you'll have to catch me first!" he grins before jumping suddenly into the air and taking off quite quickly, power climbing to a decent height before hovering in place to look down, still grinning. "Who's the whale now?" Zephyr called down, clearly enjoying this, rather happy that someone was starting to actually have fun with him. He needed someone to have fun with.

Ariel looked at the boy flying up in the air. How was she suppose to do anything when he was all the way up in the sky. She even gave him a 'what the hell' face. There was no way she was strong enough to use her water nor would she be able to jump that high. Zephyr was just playing unfair. "You cheater!" Ariel wasn't going to stand for this. She was never a quitter and even though she was going to walk away this didn't mean the war was over.
Crossing her arms she stomped onto land looking for her clothes. It didn't take her long as she put on her underwear then her dress, grumbling to herself the whole time. "Stupid boys and their stupid hottie looks. Stupid. Girls are so much better."

Zephyr continued to fly about until the girl had gotten her clothes on and once she did, he dove down and picked her up, his grip tight so she wouldn't fall, but he stayed above the lake a decent height up. "Since you can't fly on your own, let me give you a view."

The most girl like scream came flying out of Ariel's mouth as she clung with both hands and legs to Zephyr. It was more the surprise that scared her more than anything. She has never been that scared except the time she nearly drowned. Once the scare was over Ariel slowly began to enjoy it until she remembered she was mad. "Hey you big doofish. Why did you do that?" She gave him a pout and pinched his cheek hard.

The dragon was laughing, grinning even though he was pinched, "I figured I'd let you see what it's like up here, seeing as you have no wings. It must not be fun seeing so many of us with wings and you're stuck on the ground." he stated as he slowed down his flying, now gliding about as he caught a pocket of air. "It might be easier if you got onto my back though - if you want to continue flying with me.".

It didn't take Ariel long to take Zephyr's advice and like a flash she moved to the dragon's back. Her eyes went wide as she saw everything. It was all beautiful of a sight. "So beautiful~." She smiled and as she opened up her arms to feel the air. "It feels like surfing. OH! Wind surfing!" She began to move around before she made a jump like movement as she got to her feet, looking like she was surfing. A few times it felt like she was going to be blown away but it only made it more exciting. "Shell yes! Now you're totally making me jellyfish about getting to fly but I bet you can't swim like me. Both our worlds have something really good."

Zephyr wasn't too pleased when the girl decided to 'surf' on him, so he quickly dropped out from under her and did a half-turn to catch her in his arms while flying up-side-down. "Please, for the love of Io, don't stand on me when I'm flying. It's hard enough to carry a person and I don't need you falling from this height and dying as you hit the ground." He said sternly, looking quite pissed that she was a little too playful while up in the air. It was bad enough she had climbed onto his back without waiting for him to get closer to the ground or have him land, but to try and surf on him - no, that was going too far.
