Citadel

When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamour of the Citadel’s Wards to the top-secret Council Archives. Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, including Urdnot Wrex!

When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favorite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard’s own living quarters on the Citadel. With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel will release worldwide on March 5th on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 (on March 6th on PS3 in Europe). Price: $14.99, 1200MS points and 1200 BW points.

Reckoning

Prepare for the Reckoning! Newfound allies join the multiplayer war for survival in Mass Effect 3: Reckoning. The Geth Juggernaut, Female Turian Raptor, Talon Mercenary, Alliance Infiltration Unit, and more take up arms to stop the Reaper threat. Smash your enemies with the Biotic Hammer as you lay waste to the battlefield as the Krogan Warlord.

Wield 7 new weapons for multiplayer, including the Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun, Lancer Assault Rifle, and amplify your arsenal with new equipment and weapon mods featuring the Geth Scanner and Assault Rifle Omni-blade.

Mass Effect 3: Reckoning launches at no additional cost worldwide on February 26th on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 (February 27th on PlayStation 3 in Europe).

Thoughts? Me, the $15 USD price tag is a load of a**, but otherwise I super excited for Citadel (the Dream Team shall reunite!), and the stuff for the multiplayer sounds interesting enough.

EDIT: Also, from Feb. 22nd-24th, Operation: Tribute will be held in honor of Robin Sachs.

That "Sinister Consperacy" thing is driving me nuts. What kind of Conspiracy is it. And why does it involve Wrex? Could it be the reapers? Cerberus? (wouldnt be surprised if it was Cerberus since about 2 dlcs had Cerberus in it). Could it be accusing Shepard of Indoctrination? (course if your renegade let me know how that turns out for ya). Could it be due to the genofage? Or could it be one of Shepard's many enemies that he/she pissed off.

Yeah, the boyfriend pointed that out to me when we found the pic. God, why.

Least it isn't as dumb as... well, let's post this first:

Ok, watched it? Good. Based on the end of that, it' believed that we're getting Collector characters to play as.

BioWare showed off some of the classes and such for the Reckoning DLC:
http://www.twitch.tv/bioware/b/371259958

Some bullet points for if you don't want to watch it:
- At least two new gear items: batarian heavy melee for any character and geth scanner for any character.
- The new classes are:
* Awakened Collector (adept)
* Geth Juggernaut (soldier)
* Talon Mercenary (engineer)
* Krogan Warlord (sentinel)
* Alliance Infiltration Unit (infiltrator)
* Turian Cabal (vanguard)

On those classes:
- The Awakened Collector is an ultra-rare unlock, and can deploy seeker swarms.
- The Geth Juggernaut is the slowest moving character, cannot take cover, and cannot be insta killed.
- The Talon Mercenary's powers all consume grenades, uses an omni-bow, and uses Zaeed's character model.
- The Krogan Warlord cannot take cover, can only be staggered slightly by the largest of enemies, has regenerating health, and can easily OHK lover class enimies with his hammer.
- The Alliance Infiltration Unit can regenerate health for a short time, which consumes grenades, and can self revive once per match.
- The Turian Cabal has a special biotic charge that not only poisons nearby enemies, but doesn't require a target to lock onto, and can charge through walls.

- The Lancer is an ultra rare unlock that has regenerating ammo and is the lightest ultra rare weapon.
- New weapon mods include ultra light materials for the assault rifle and shotgun, and a power amplifier for pistols and SMGs.
- This will be the last multiplayer DLC.

Great now I won't stop thinking about this when I should be focused on school work.

The MP DLC gives you a free Gift Pack. I unlocked the Turian Cabal Vanguard. I do have to say that I'm a little sad that the only female turian available is the cabal - as if female turians don't exist anywhere else. neutral
But I would love to unlock the Geth Juggernaut - for obvious reasons I would think. xd

I'm am highly looking forward the the Citadel DLC. Sad it's so pricey, but the dang thing is like 4 gigs. It supposedly has the character-driven stuff that I so desire. heart

I unlocked all of the DLC characters this morning.
My favorite one from the bunch is the Krogan Warlord and his hammer.
I haven't had so much fun with multiplayer since my friend and I would run around with our N7 Paladins making Cryo 'splosions everywhere.
I really want to love the Awakened Collector but I'm still trying to figure it out.

It's fairly easy to get the hang of once you've gone through a few matches with it.

You'll want to put your points into Seeker Swarm (Slow, damage reduction, swarm count), Dark Sphere (Damage, damage over time, unstable dark sphere), Ancient Warrior (Durability, shield recharge, fitness expert), and Vengeful Agent (Damage & capacity, power damage, Collector/Prothean weapon damage).

Try to always keep your Seeker Swarm up, as you'll always have a no-recharge power to throw (not counting when you set your swarm up, that has a recharge time), and you get damage reduction for each swarm you have up. If you see a group of enemies clustered together, throw out a Dark Sphere and when they're effected (they'll glow green when they are), hit 'em with a seeker swarm. You'll get some biotic explosion goodness. Also, if they're within the sphere's influence, you can keep detonating biotic explosions (I think this might only apply for the bigger baddies).

Equip yourself with a Collector Sniper Rifle/Collector SMG/Collector Rifle/Prothean Rifle, since thanks to Vengeful Agent, you get a bonus with them. I recommend using the Collector Rifle, since it's easier to get & max out, and it has large ammo capacity and is quick to reload (unlike the others which have rechargeable ammo, which can take a while). I wouldn't really recommend going into Ascension Mode since it makes you weaker, but if you go the way I laid out for Seeker Swarm, it'll cancel out the increased damage taken while in that mode.

I think I have him setup the same way, except for the Ancient Warrior part.
I went for the Ascension path because I wanted to give that a try. It sucks being even more squishy with it on, but when my friend is out getting the enemy's attention with his Warlord, I can safely Ascend and use the Dark Sphere to wreck any enemies around him. It's working for me.
I use the Adaptive War Amp and the Collector Rifle, which I have at level V at the moment.

I've been working on finishing all of the character appearance options lately. I just need one more for the Batarian Adept and two for the Batarian Vanguard.
Then I'll begin the long journey to finish getting all my weapons maxed out.

Also, just for kicks try this:
Volus Protector (Vanguard)
Biotic Charge: Force & Damage, Weapon Synergy, Barrier
Shield Boost only up to rank 3
Biotic Orbs: Damage, Recharge Speed, Orb Count
Volus Training: Weapon Damage, Power Damage
Fitness: Melee Damage, Martial Artist, Fitness Expert

Give him Talon with Melee Stunner. Second mod can be whatever you wish.
You can try the Disciple. I haven't tried it yet. I'd go with Blade Attachment or Omni-Blade with Ultralight Materials.

Give him the Batarian Gauntlet and just have fun.

This is just something I came up with just to have some laughs. I've only used it on Silver.
If any of you can improve on it, that'd be cool. I don't know, I thought it was fun and humorous.

There are a few things about the DLC that I feel are silly and such, but I am surprised to find myself pleased with the trailer and I am looking forward to it when I never thought I would! Unfortunately I will be unable to purchase and play it at this time, as much as I may love to.

The DLC is amazing, it gives us the experience that Shepard never had. It's a bittersweet sendoff from Bioware to mark the end of the trilogy.

QFT.

Someone said it was a love letter to the fans, and I think it's a perfect analogy. I can really feel the BioWare team trying to respond to all these things that fans want. Almost like a fanfiction in some of its antics. XD
