"I am coming!" Terra called down the hall. She could hear the treat bouncing against the wall even from where she was--she'd forgotten to feed them before running off to the Scarentines party. She dug through her skirt pockets, pulling out her key. "I am coming, calm down por favor!" she called as she got the key in the lock and opened the door. The door was shoved open, and Terra groaned as a poofball of fluff raced past her, down the hall and up the stairs. "Get back here!" she yelled, chasing after the glowy poofball. "Chico!!"  The little husk treat literally bounced off the wall, much like a ball as it reached the reaper common room, causing havoc in the already messy room.

Millie was just about to leave the common area to get back to the festival when she heard a ruckus and someone calling that she couldn't make out. Turning around, she saw a little puffball bounce off a wall and hit the coffee table near the couches, knocking it the table over and spilling the stack of junk off of it. Closing the door and flattening her body against it, she looked around the common room wondering how to contain the little minipet. It seemed to have slowed down at least. Realizing that it probably couldn't manipulate handles, Millie left the door and tried to position herself to try and corner it.

The treat glared up at the new reaper ghoul with beady little eyes--then shot between her legs and out from behind her. "Chico!!" Terra yelled as she got to the common room, just in time to see him jolt down a hallway leading to other reapers' rooms. "Chico! Get back here!" she yelled, almost running into Millie as she started to chase him. "Lo siento!" she said. "My treat, he is escaping!" she called over her shoulder-- Just as the sound of something crashing came from ahead of her. "Ay caramba," she moaned. "Why did that person leave their door open?"

Glancing once at the mess the treat had made in the common room, Millie debated whether or not to get back to the festival or help out. Nedless to say, this decision-making process lasted not more than a few seconds. Why not? Chasing after a treat is loads better than being chained to a beebs any day.Millie took off after the ghoul reaper, trying to keep up.

[Quick game, if you roll over this roll you capture Chico!] "Chico!" Terra wailed, hopping up and down. The treat was on top of a tall dresser drawers set, one that was taller than the reaper ghoul, and had breakable objects on top. "Get down!" One of the breakable objects went plummeting down and Terra dove to catch it, barely saving it from being destroyed. "No dessert for you! You are very bad!" Alicia Firestar Holy crap how'd he roll that high? *stares*

Millie looked around for something that might help. Why don't other students keep ladders in their rooms?Unless she moved one of the dressers there was no easy way up. Fishing in her pockets, Millie found one of those strange heart candies from one of the booths. It was no FEAR candy, but would a minipet really know the difference? Millie held it out to the treat. "Come on, come down now." she tried coaxing the treat. The treat jumped down into Millie's arms. "Got you" she said with a smile as she scratched it, hoping to calm it down. The treat spit out the candy, but didn't seem to mind scratching in places it couldn't reach. Ice Queen Millie beats it anyways XD

"You have caught Chico!" Terra said, putting the breakable item on the ground and turning to take the treat. "Gracias! He is very much a trouble maker, you are," she said, holding the treat up to give him a scolding. "You do not see Peppi running wild just because I was late!" Then she grinned at Millie. "I am Terra! It is very nice to meet you! But I think we should leave before the room owner returns," she added, looking at the destruction that the treat had caused before heading out the door.

Looking around the room, Millie nodded in agreement with a slight look of alarm on her face and followed Terra out into the hallway, relaxing once they were far enough away from the dorm room. "My name is Millie. I'm glad I could help." She couldn't help but stare at the little fluff ball. "Are minipets always so much trouble?" she asked Terra. Realizing how silly that sounded in a school where it was somewhat of a social requirement to keep at least one, Millie turned a light shade of pink and expanded on the thought. "My family doesn't keep anything other than fish so it's not like those get out on a regular basis..."

"I do not know," Terra admitted. "I did not have a minipet before coming here. Chico and Peppi, they are new! Chico was supposed to be a pirate treat, but I used a bottle that I made in class on him, and now he is very glowy," she said, holding him up to show it. "Peppi is not nearly so wild, she is a wishing peppermint minipet--she was given to me for Christmastival," she explained as she led the way to the common room. "I should feed them both, though. Would you like to meet Peppi?" she offered.

It was a relief to hear that another student did not have minipets before here. She had heard of students that had tens of minipets but those were usually monsters... "A Class that teaches you how to make your pets glow? That sounds like fun." Maybe Millie could turn her fish a different color too. Passing through the common room, Millie made a mental note to come back and fix the table. Not because she didn't think the cleaning gnomes couldn't handle it, but because she was taught not to make more work than necessary. "I'd love to meet Peppi." she chirped.

"Okay!" Terra said, heading down the steps to the bottom floor of the reaper dorms and to her room. The door was still wide open, but Peppi was lounging on her bed, looking quite patient for a starving minipet. "Peppi! Chico, I will feed you now," Terra said as she stepped inside. "Senorita Millie, welcome to my room!" It was rather colorful, with two large beanbags in front of a television and brightly colored woven pieces of material hanging on the walls, along with pictures of skeletons in beautiful clothing. There was a small table next to the half kitchen, with two chairs. "Please, make yourself comfortable!" Terra added as she headed for the kitchen to feed the pets.

Millie was in awe of Terra's room. It was so... bright. Looking around at all the decorations, she finally spied the lounging minipet. "Oh, Peppi is so pretty!" Millie wanted to hold it, but it was probably more interested in eating right now than being cuddled by a newcomer. Spying the beanbags, Millie flopped into one. "I never had one of these before!" Millie giggled, trying to find a comfortable seating position. "My parents never got me one for some reason." Looking at the open door, "Maybe we should go clean up the common room in a bit" Millie suggested. Ice Queen Sorry, got caught up in other things n.n

"Mi hermano--Roch, he brought them, he has moved in during meal times. He does not cook," Terra said, finishing feeding the minipets and putting away the food. "And si! We can go clean up now," she said as she washed her hands briefly. "Before the gnomes get irritated." She headed for beanbags, offering a hand to help Millie get up. "But really I should not be making you help--it is my Chico who caused the ruckus." Alicia Firestar NP! I'm going a lil slow lately too^^

Millie accepted the help gratefully. Maybe the reason her parents never bought her a beanbag chair was because the only way she could see to get out of one without help was to just roll off them... This was not a graceful prospect. Not that she had any sort of natural grace, but that was what her parents tried to teach her. "Well, it's really no big deal. Plus it shouldn't take long with both of us cleaning up and it's certainly more appealing than being eaten by a tree.... again." As much fun as the festival was, Millie had had enough 'fun' for one day... ___________________________ Looking around the common room, the damage was not too bad. They'd just be picking up papers for the most part. Pulling the table to put it back upright, all the papers that had been stacked on the desk just slid further around on the floor when Millie disturbed the few that had still clung to the side of the table. Among the papers, Millie spied a small colorful piece of paper. Picking it up, it wasn't a piece of paper, but an envelope. "What do you think this is?" she asked Terra

Terra had picked a different spot to clean, picking up the papers and making sure they were straight in piles--and an envelope fell out of the pile she was tapping on the table. "This?" she said, holding it up. "You found one as well?" she asked, looking at it blankly. "It does not have a name on it, do you think we should report it to the professors? Or the gnomes?" Yes, Terra was naive. "I want to open it," she said, staring at the letter in wonder. "I am sure it is something good!"
