Close up diner? Check. Make sure Marco's gone? Check. No lingering, tiny waitresses in the dining area? Check check double check this time. The tall man turned on his heel to close the door behind him before he powered up into his page form, focusing so hard on the empty diner in front of him he was hardly aware of any presences to his back.
He had been distracted anyway, lifting up the the empty bottle adorned with charms and trinkets that had been causing sleepless nights and turmoil in the page.
Feelings of dread should never go unnoticed, in his experience.

Alexis was standing there with her laptop in her arms as well as her books, she was headed into the dinner hoping to get something to drink before she moved on to the park. "No---- ah?" She paused, looking a little startled.
Welp he was probably going to freak out that she caught him, but she could at least make him feel better letting him know he's not the only one. She sighed waiting a few moments before actually looking around and powering up; holding her little harp. "You should probably be a little more careful about the outside."
She tutted softly, "Even the kids are little more careful than you." There was a giggle as she watched him.

Alfheim let out a yell as he jumped to one side, and if his keys hadn't gone to subspace, he probably would've dropped them.
"Jesus lady, what gives?" He asked, trying to calm his breathing. He glanced around the dark street with a frown. "It's usually dead here this time of night, where'd you come from?"

Buyan's brows raised as she watched Alfheim's fail. "I thought you were you going to still be open." She said matter of factually, "I was planning on getting a cup of coffee before going on my rounds."
Her arms were crossed the Lyra hanging from one hand, "Honestly, don't always assume it's as dead as you think it is. At least have some common sense and use a phone booth or the rest room to change." She rolled her eyes as she watched him.
"I was going to go hang around in the park and write after I got some caffeine." She seemed serious before letting her fingers tap her weapon, "Sooo.... I'm guessing your a knight too then?"

Alfheim quirked an eyebrow, double checking the time through the window just to be sure. "Someone's a night owl," He commented passively. He couldn't imagine drinking caffeine this late.
He laughed at her question. Clearly they were both knights, but it was the alternative that made it comical.
"No miniskirts on this fabulous a**," He quipped. "Alfheim, of Earth," He introduced, extending a hand. "I guess I've been a little distracted. My weapon... uh... it doesn't... feel right."

"Well, if I have to do this Patrol thing I might as well make use of the time." She said with a roll of her eyes, "You should speak for yourself."
She tilted her head, "I don't think all those terr-- senshi have miniskirts." She didn't remember seeing all of them with Miniskirts. "Buyan, of Neptune." She added in an introduction as she shook his hand.
"Yeah? Mine doesn't either... I mean it hasn't been that long since I got it but; it feels odd." She sighed plucking the lyre strings. "I wonder what's going on with them...." The blonde looked mildly concerned.

"It was just a joke," Alfheim said with a mellow smile when she took his quip about skirts and asses as prompting to discuss whether or not they all had skirts.
He stepped a bit closer and glanced at the harp. It was an interesting choice, but not even the weirdest considering Valhalla's... thingy. He pulled his bottle off his belt, popping the cork out even though there wasn't anything in it to release. "I've had mine for almost three months now," He said. "This is the first time it's been weird. But other knights are having the same problem."

Buyan's face made an 'o' look as she looked skeptically at him. "You'd look nice in a skirt." She decided and shifted in her heels, sometimes she had to question this wardrobe stuff.
"Yeah, it hasn't felt like this before, has anyone else said any ideas on what they think the problem might be is?" She was looking at him almost hopefully. She was still kind of new and all alone in this whole thing. Which made Buyan feel a little more vulnerable, specially since she didn't even know what her harp did.
However, she did pick at a few notes on the strings. "I wonder if there's a way to fix it...."

Alfheim raised one eyebrow and tried to refrain from crass comments about the face she made and just put one hand on his hip in a mocking sassy stance on the attempted return on his joke.
"Not really," He said, dropping his hands and giving a lazy shrug. "Most everyone's just feeling tension I guess. Wanting to spar or just... outright attack people. It's really bizarre."
He laughed. "I smoked a little weed, it calmed me right down. But uh, permanent fix I dunno."

Buyan smiled when Alfheim took on a sassy stance and shook her head, there was a small frown. "I don't really want to attack people, I'd just like to stop looking over my shoulder because I'm not sure if my weapon is going to..... function." She paused, "Not that it does anything besides make music if you know how to play one of these."
She paused and there was a very teacher like tutting, "I don't believe that's legal." She stated promptly, coming from a woman who quit teaching to write romance novels. "Though I suppose if that was the only way you could find to calm you down... personally I would've preferred a nice hot cup of tea or chocolate or something along those lines."
She paused, and motioned they should probably walk instead of just standing and chatting, "Tea doesn't dull your senses like other things such as drugs do. Pity it seems everyone turns to that for an answer to a problem."

Alfheim rolled his eyes with notable dramatics. He could tell this was going down a preachy direction about a habit he didn't really see much wrong with and he didn't really want to hear. It was no worse than getting drunk, in his opinion.
"I don't see how your harp's gonna malfunction. I mean, no offense, it just seems like it'd be more useful to not even bother with that thing if you were actually in a fight. Unless you plan on strangling someone with some harp strings or something."

Buyan watched as Alfheim rolled his eyes, she followed suit in rolling her eyes at him. He was so hopeless, "Obviously it's suppose to be important I mean it wouldn't be a 'weapon' if it wasn't."
She crossed her arms and then her eyes lit up, "Can I test it on you to see how well it works?" She was joking of course, or ... was she?
There was something about the smile on her face. "Anyways, still.... do you think it's going to stop acting weird anytime soon? I mean what if one day we can't transform because it was acting weird?"
