The afternoon sun cascaded through the spaces between the trees bringing a very welcome warmth to the forest. It had been rather chilly the past few weeks and snow seemed to be inching its way towards falling. Taking a walk required bundling up for most people and staying outside for too long was something that was desperately avoided. However, one rather elegant looking teenager that traipsed slowly along the river bed was completely unphased by the cold.

"Pfft, Alabaster said it was freezing out here." Crystal muttered as she gazed upon the glittering water, her long blue hair flowing along her shoulders. "He's obviously far too sensitive, it's balmy out here!" She waved her hand upon her flushed face in an attempt to cool down. "Mmm, or it could be that I'm part ice type now..."
