Talivto was thrilled. He was finally accepted as an Apprentice, having only trained himself for most of his life. Granted, the Apprentice training was much tougher than anything he'd put himself through but he was ahead of most of his peers. And so, he was quite eager to go out into the world of Magesc and fight a real dragon!
It was as he was preparing to head out that he happened to overhear part of a conversation nearby. The feminine voice caught his attention and he turned in time to hear one girl mention that she wanted to study the dragons. With a grin, he slipped himself into the conversation.
"I'm going now to go fight a dragon. Would you like to tag along?"

Esmeralda had been doing very well for herself, getting a bit of recognition from other scholars for her studies on dragons. She was getting wiser, and was finally settling in nicely to her new routine of life. Granted, she was still young and had plenty of obstacles still ahead of her, Esme felt like she could fight anything off with her ink and quill. Battles hadn’t even crossed her mind as of late, and she hadn’t really cried in a while either, so maybe just maybe she was growing up finally and peeling away from her childlike body to enter the age of womanhood!
Some of her new classmates had accosted her on their way out of class, and they were currently in a small circle conversing about dragons. The voice that came from another boy behind her made her turn and stare, the guy was half naked! “Uhm.” She said softly, many knew her reputation as cry baby within the circle of fighters; this one must be new if he was asking her of all people to tag along with him. She’d never really gone on a dragon hunt with anyone else before, except that one time she’d met that Oblivionite girl and they’d barely made it out alive.
“Are you talking to me?” Esmeralda poked herself in the shoulder in the process of pointing to herself. This guy had to be insane, how could he want her of all people to tag along! “I’m just a scholar with failed healing abilities; I would only slow you down really. I’m not made for fighting; only observing.” The other girls were ogling the guy, Esme made a point to stare at him right in the eyes. She’d never really thought of boys before, and she certainly was not about to be impressed by one now.... Maybe.

Tali grinned at the older Apprentice girl, ignoring the others around her, though he did notice their stares and couldn't help but pose a bit. "Well, you said something about wanting to observe, right?" He grinned, thinking just how much observing she could do from behind him as he took down a big bad dragon. A shrug followed as he continued. "Up to you. If you don't want to come, that's fine by me..." He had a feeling she really wanted to come, though. After all, who wouldn't want to come along with such a fine warrior as himself?

He was right, but Esme hadn’t really thought anyone was up for it. What if he died in front of her eyes? That would certainly scar her for the rest of her life, unless she got involved and saved him, which she didn’t really want to do. Oh boy. “Well yes of course, I just didn’t think anyone would actually accept.” Everyone turned to her wondering what her answer would be; Esmeralda passed a hand over her head feeling slightly nervous about the whole thing. She knew they all wanted her to say yes, everyone was practically drooling over him. “Sure I’ll come, just to watch tho.” She was stern on that point, she was not getting involved at all. “Show me the way.”

The boy grinned as she gave in to his charms and agreed to tag along. "I'm Talivto, but you can just call me Tali." He gestured for her to follow along as he headed to the portal to Serenia. He'd heard how pretty the place was and what better place to take a pretty girl than to a pretty place?
Stepping through, they were instantly at the docks in Serenia. Tali blinked, momentarily unsure of what to do. He straightened up and glanced about, finding some woods not too far from where they were. "Let's go find us a dragon!" He grinned and set off for the woods.

Oh boy, she was heading to a dragon battle with a boy! She wondered briefly how things were going to go down, the last time she’d been in a dragon hunt with someone else well, things hadn’t exactly gone smoothly. This Talivto seemed pretty young; Esme was a little worried that she may have to get him out of a sticky situation. There as of course, no need to voice her concerns, but she was going to keep a watchful eye on him just in case. Plus, she was a Peisio Dovaa if he got hurt she could get him fixed up some.
“I’m Esmeralda.” She followed along, mostly staying quiet as she had no idea what to say to him. She’d never been into the whole group thing, which was another reason to adore being a scholar. As they passed through, Esme was not as impressed as she used to be. It looked like it was Tali’s first time here, which only added to her worries. Sighing softly, she followed behind him. “Are you sure you know what you’re doing? I won’t really be able to help you if something happens, I mean I’ll try helping of course, but I can’t do much.”
