Fūinjutsu (封印術; Literally meaning "Sealing Techniques") are a type of jutsu that seal objects, living beings, chakra, along with a wide variety of other things within another object. An imbalance is created when an odd-numbered seal is placed on top of an even-numbered seal and vice-versa.

Note:
• Each Seal has requirements that MUST be met to use
• Seals work in a very specific way. If they are a paper seal, they must be prepared before the fight and the chakra spent at that time. When on the field the user can activate the seal with their own chakra signature for no further cost. If the seal is contact oriented it works the same as a jutsu, chakra spent and effects triggered.

Name: Explosive creation
Rank: C
The first seal learned by most specialists. Simply enough the user is able to make exploding tags with their blood so that only they can explode these seals. They come in handy in all occasions and are a highly personalized form of regular exploding tags which are what are commonly used.

Name: Shikoku Fūin [ Finger Engraving Seal ]

Requirement: None
The user concentrates chakra into their finger and using the heat from that can apply writing on whatever they want to a surface. This technique however requires them to be very delicate with their chakra control. This technique causes slight discomfort for a living target and if it is on flesh, it will scar.

Name: Bukigura Fūin [ Arsenal Seal ]

Requirement: item and scroll
This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items that have been stored using fūinjutsu ( 1 item per seal). Scrolls are the most common choice for item storage. When needed, the owner will activate the seals releasing their item or weapon of choice. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use.

Name: Sealing Technique: Four Limbs Weighting Seal

Requirement: Prayer Beads
This technique is performed by placing prayer beads around the wrists and ankles of the target and then pressing the palm against the target's chest. This increases the weight of the beads exponentially, weighing down the target's limbs. Can be used for training. As the target of this jutsu continues to train, the prayer beads change color from White to Blue to Green to Yellow and finally to Red. Once red, this signifies that the training is complete.

After capturing a target in Sanhō Fūin the user collapses the seal creating an explosion.

Technique Name: Seal Creation: Blood Teathering Seal

Requirements: Blood, must be made outside of combat.
Description: The user creates this seal by writing their blood onto a weapon, and carefully placing chakra within it. When activated, does not require handseals, the Item/Weapon will return to the owner via flight. Speed and distance is determined by amount of chakra placed within the seal. The items will stop a within a few feet of the user. This ability may be used 3 times before the seal needs to be recharged. Weapons larger than a Evil Windmill Shuriken will cost an additional [20] chakra.

C biggrin istance 15 feet, almost harmless rate of speed.
B biggrin istance 30 Feet, able to penetrate flesh, but not bone.
A biggrin istance 50 Feet, Able to penetrate anything as strong as rock.

Technique Name: Bikan Shiiru - Sight Seal

Requirements: Must make a seal on the eyelid
Description: After marking a surface with the corresponding seal, and then making a temporary seal on the eyelids, the user will make a hand seal to view the scenery that lies within a twenty meter radius of the marked object. That view will be seen through the user's right eye. If they wish to see with both eyes another hand seal must be implemented. This jutsu allows them to view these areas with an unobstructed view. Meaning that although there is a linkage between the two environments to the viewer, things seen within that environment are seen within their unchanged states as it pertains to reality. This jutsu can be canceled at any moment by the user through another hand seal, or an opponent destroying the object the seal was placed upon.

Kyakko (曲光, Curving Light) -

Hides the target from sight, presumably by bending light. Another protection seal, much like the false place genjutsu however it simply hides a user from the target by making the seal and slapping it to a surface or having 4 in a square formation which will make a whole area invisible because of the bending of light.

Otomasen (音ません Soundless)

Using the battle seal array a person can add the ability to make a barrier in which sound cannot travel through. Making yes, the room or outside of the barrier soundproof, thus private conversations can be kept private.

Kuchiyose: Raikō Kenka [Summoning: Lightning Blade Creation]

Requirements: Must be drawn before battle, must have tools in inventory to create seal
his is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal ninja multiple tools like swords or kunai into a scroll or their clothes on one seal beforehand, allowing them to be called upon when needed. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks" which can be drawn anywhere. Stores up to 10 projectiles

Kekkai: Houjin [Barrier: Battle Array]

Kekkai Houjin is a high-level Ninjutsu trap technique. An array of explosive markers are jointly placed around the boundary of an area. If any opponent walks through the boundary, the seals will activate and explode.

Kuchiyose: Rashoumon [Summoning: Rashoumon]

Requirement: Blood on the users hands when using the technique.
Kuchiyose • Rashoumon is a Ninjutsu summoning technique utilized by the Sound ninja Ukon and Sakon. Said to be the ultimate defense of Orochimaru's. The brothers can summon it by drawing blood and then slamming their palms to the ground. Only a very powerful impact can mar the gate.

Name: Chakra Draining Seal

The user places a seal on a person that will drain the latter's chakra, so that the user can use it himself.

Keiyaku Fūin [ Contract Seal ]
Rank: B
Requirement: Must have blood of the summoner on their hand. Must touch the summoner with that hand.
When this fūinjutsu is used on a summoner, it removes any control the summoner has over their summoned creature. This does not mean that the user of this technique gains control over the summoned creature. Close contact and the summoner's blood appears are required for this seal.

Shikokumujin [ Four Black Fog Battle Formation ]

A barrier ninjutsu technique performed by all of the Sound Four, The user will first need to place the bearer of any Curse Mark into the into the coffin, then perform the needed handsigns, covering the coffin with a black lid made from chakra. This "kills" the user for a total of ten posts, in which their seal will slowly advance, making it possible to achieve faster, but at the great risk of pain, and possibly even death if the bearer is too weak, meaning that only exceptionally strong ninja can endure this, chakra-based at least. [Basically, must be a Jounin at LEAST]

Fūkoku Hōin [ Dark Sealing Method ]

This seal is used in conjunction with the Four Black Fog Battle Formation. After the Sound Four seal the individual in the container, this seal is added as another layer of protection. To create the seal, Sakon writes the incantation in blood on the sealing paper and then attaches it to the container before activating it with a hand seal. This jutsu must be done within the same post to become effective, preventing the bearer from being disturbed.

Name: Fūka Hōin [Fire Sealing Method ]

This technique allows the user to seal fire into a scroll. The user writes the seal on a scroll and then performs the required hand seals. This causes a vapor to appear from the scroll, enveloping the fire and sealing it on the scroll as the kanji for seal (封). Jiraiya used this technique to seal away the black fire from Itachi Uchiha's Amaterasu technique.

This technique allows the user to seal Water into a scroll. The user writes the seal on a scroll and then performs the required hand seals. This causes a vapor to appear from the scroll, enveloping the Water and sealing it on the scroll as a kanji. Can be used to also seal ice.

This technique allows the user to seal wind into a scroll. The user writes the seal on a scroll and then performs the required hand seals. This causes a vapor to appear from the scroll, enveloping the Wind and sealing it on the scroll as a kanji.

This technique allows the user to seal Lightning into a scroll. The user writes the seal on a scroll and then performs the required hand seals. This causes a vapor to appear from the scroll, enveloping the Lightning and sealing it on the scroll as a kanji.

This technique allows the user to seal Earth into a scroll. The user writes the seal on a scroll and then performs the required hand seals. This causes a vapor to appear from the scroll, enveloping the Earth and sealing it on the scroll as a kanji.

Name: Shikon no Jutsu [ Dead Soul Technique ]

Requiements: Konshin Betsuri no Jutsu and corpse
sing this jutsu, a person can temporarily reanimate a corpse, creating the illusion of a living person, and maneuver it at will with chakra. This is achieved by causing the heart to beat once more. The reanimated corpse can serve as either a short-time ally or an effective decoy. The traces of surgery can also be erased with chakra, because of which there's no difference, at first glance, with a live person. Kabuto adds plastic surgery to this, altering the corpse's face, and goes even further by erasing its bodily odor, so that the smell doesn't give him away, thus creating an effective body double for himself.

Technique Name: Mukizu (Unwounded)

Requirements: A Marked Tag with the 封 Character on it.
Description: A simple technique that uses a tag as a incredibly powerful bandage. The user will slap the marked tag on a wound and the tag will forcibly keep the wound closed. Note that this technique does not heal the wound, but temporarily closes it until it can be treated. This technique is used purely to prevent blood loss. Up to four of these tags can be used at once.

Technique Name: Shuushi (Stop)

Requirements: A Marked Tag with the 已 Character on it.
Description: A simple technique that requires the user to place the marked tag on a moving object. Black bars will cover the object in a crossing pattern causing the object or person to cease movement. A marked shinobi can over come this technique by exerting [300] Chakra to overload the tag or if gifted with incredible strength (Taijutsu Class, Upper Body strength, at least Konin Level) they can forcibly move through the seal and rip it off themselves. Only one of these tags may be put on any one person at a time.

Name: Fūja Hōin [ Evil Sealing Method ]

This seal requires a high number of hand seals and a large amount of chakra to be performed. Preparation for this technique requires two concentric circles with kunai placed in intervals along the circumference, in addition to a number of characters written in blood that radiate out from the centre of the cursed seal. This technique is used to suppress technique-induced marks on a person. Marks of weaker power can be completely suppressed by this technique alone, but for marks of higher power like Sasuke Uchiha's Cursed Seal of Heaven, causes the seal's power to become dependent on the recipient's own willpower to some extent, especially if the sealer is not experienced enough to strengthen the seal with his own power. It is also capable of holding back certain kekkei genkai, such as that of the Kurama clan as seen when Kurenai tried to do this.

Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu [Reverse Summoning Technique]

Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which allows an individual to summon a person or being to their location using a summoning scroll. In normal Kuchiyose, the signed summoning contract allows the summoner to call upon his or her summons without the contract present. This modification allows for any individual to be summoned through the use of a scroll tied back to the one to be summoned. This scroll allows the individual to be far away and be transported instantly to the location of the summoning scroll. In this variation, Naruto created two clones to remain at Myouboku and gather Senjutsu chakra. Upon being needed, the scroll seal tied to one of the clones was activated, drawing one to his location.

Kuchiyose: Sanjuu Rashoumon [Summoning: Triple Rashoumon]

Kuchiyose • Sanjuu Rashoumon is a Ninjutsu summoning technique utilized by Orochimaru. One Rashoumon gate alone was said to be his ultimate defense, with this variation he can summon three of the gates in succession to help block a great incoming blast. Because the gate requires two summoning calls (a right and left), he will bite both his right and left thumbs to initiate the contract.
The gates are not invincible however, being dented by the Soutourou of Kiba and Akamaru, and totally destroyed by Naruto into his four-tailed Kyuubi form. The latter gates do manage to deflect the majority of Naruto's blast though, which could have killed Orochimaru had it not be deflected.

Sennou Sousa Jutsu [Brainwash Manipulated Sand Technique]

This Sennou Jutsu belongs to Akatsuki member Sasori. Sasori placed a memory block on Hidden Sand ninja Yuura, who was once his inferior. Over a period of years Yuura was acting for Hidden Sands best interests, all the while being unknowing of his former connection to Sasori. When the time came, Sasori released the block and gave Yuura his memory back. Unsuspecting that their comrade was now against them, the Hidden Sand ninjas fell to Yuura's hands.

Name: Fūinjutsu: Sanhō Fūin [ Sealing Technique: Three Directions Seal ]

The user along two shadow clones creates a triangle seal around the opponent. Then a tetrahedral form of light traps and sends them up in the sky, leaving a big hole in the ground.

Name: Gogyō Fūin [ Five Elements Seal ]

This jutsu produces a powerful seal that is used to block or disturb the flow of chakra in a target. Once the seal is completed, the target will become unconscious and unable to fight for a short time. The target will also be unable to mold chakra properly until the seal is countered.

Name: Gogyō Kaiin [ Five Elements Unseal ]

This jutsu is is used to remove Gogyō Fūin. The user's finger tips will fill with chakra before they thrust it into the core of the target to remove the seal.

Technique Name: Gekitai (Repel)
Rank: A
Requirements: A single tag with the 拒 Character on it.
Description: The technique will create a seal spanning in a fifty foot diameter. The technique prevents any foreign chakra (Including other ninja) from passing in the circumference around the tag. Can be overloaded with a strong enough elemental attack ( S ranked ) but only pierced by an S+ projectile jutsu.

Hiraishin no Jutsu [Flying Thunder God Technique ]

Requirements: Must learn from the original user.
Description: Hiraishin no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique utilized by the Fourth Hokage. The technique gave Yondaime his nickname "Konoha's Yellow Flash," due to his bright yellow hair and his ability to traverse great distances in the blink of an eye. A space-time jutsu like Kuchiyose, Yondaime first needs to mark his destination with a shiki (rite) first, he can then activate the jutsu to come to the mark. He can apply this to a weapon such as a kunai, and when thrown or used, he can instantly travel to it. He can also apply the mark to a touched area at the cost of S rank chakra, such as his opponent or some other surrounding feature. No matter where the opponent goes, Yondaime can travel to the mark to kill them.
[Cost rank B chakra. Reductions do not apply to this cost.]

Kekkaimon Gofuu Jutsu: Hachimon Heijou [Barrier Gate Five Seal Technique: Eight Gate Lock-Up]

Requirement: Summoner class sealing scroll
Kekkaimon Gofuu Jutsu • Hachimon Heijou is a Ninjutsu barrier technique. First Fuen will draw out the designs of the village the barrier will surround to correctly place the barrier gates. Fuen will then perform the needed hand seals and then summon the four gates which will arise in each of the cardinal directions. A barrier will then extend between each gate, encasing the village within a defensive wall. If anything tries to pass through the barrier, it will be destroyed by a strong fire. The only way to pass through the barrier is with the usage of a special entrance charm. When
the ninja who cast the jutsu is taken out, the gates will return to the earth and the barrier will end.

Souzousaisei [ Genesis Rebirth ]

Requirement: Creation of Souseki Fuuin before hand
A Ninjutsu technique that only those with the Souseki Fuuin (Genesis Seal) can perform. By gathering chakra into their seal over a period of time, they can then use that gathered chakra by releasing the seal. The chakra accelerates the production of various enzymes in their body, causing almost instant cellular reformation, healing absolutely any mortal wound, including extensive damage to internal organs. However, the number of times cells can multiply is limited, so using this technique takes away from the total life span of the ninja using it.
(Must have medical main class to use)

Kekkai Shihō Fūjin [ Four-Corner Sealing Barrier ]

Requirement: 4 Shinobi
This technique was designed by Tsunade for the purpose of sealing a tailed beast. The technique is performed with four separate scrolls and a sample of blood similar to a Summoning Technique. This technique requires good chakra control and concentration are needed to perform the sealing technique. To use this technique, a scroll is needed to seal the numerous amounts of chakra. This technique was supposed to seal the Three-Tails in its own dimension. This technique has three stages:
1. "Search"- the barrier is erected to locate the target.
2. "Bind"- the barrier is then stretched out above the target.
3. "Lock"- the barrier is lowered and the sealing begins.

Name: Ura Shishō Fūinjutsu [ Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique ]

Requirement: Seal must be applied to body before battle
his technique is a fūinjutsu that the user places across their chest, and sets it to activate upon their death. The technique releases four symbols from the user's body that then form a large, black sphere around them. Anything caught inside the sphere's area is then drawn in and sealed within the user's corpse.

Gofū Kekkai [ Five Seals Barrier ]

Requirement: 5 sealing tags [5] post prep time
This technique creates a barrier around a place by placing four "Forbidden" (禁, kin) tags in different locations surrounding, a fifth tag on the location to be protected. The tags are placed on flat surfaces, and are connected with the user's chakra. This technique turns the entire range surrounded by the tags into a barrier space, and inside the space, the material destruction is "forbidden". Using any kind of physical attack to try and destroy something in the barrier is folly, as it will only lead to injury. To cancel this, it is necessary to search for the five tags and tear them off simultaneously. Meaning there must be at least five people on a team to cancel it.

Fūinjutsu: Genryū Kyū Fūjin [ Sealing Technique: Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seals ]

A technique that was used by Pain and the other members of Akatsuki to forcibly drain the spirit and chakra of the tailed beasts from their still-living jinchūriki, then to seal it in what appeared to be the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. The technique took three full days to complete if nine of the Akatsuki members were present.

Tensha Fūin: Amaterasu [ Transcription Seal: Amaterasu ]

Requirements: Must have Sasuke/Itachi type Mangekyo Sharigan and can only be sealed within another Sharigan User.
This is a technique that seals the technique Amaterasu (1 time use) within the Sharingan of another person. After being sealed within the person it is involuntarily activated (indicated by the person's Sharingan taking the form of the sealer's Mangekyō Sharingan) when the eye sees its target, which is predetermined by the user.

Konshin Betsuri no Jutsu [ Soul–Body Separation Technique ]

Requirements: Sealing tag [ 3 ] posts prep and physical contact
With the aid of a tag, the user creates a seal which affects a certain area around it removing the soul of the opponents from their bodies. The souls are then sealed within the tag. If someone comes in contact with the tag or removes it from its place, the souls will be released. The souls appear as ghosts near the one who touched the tag, and are only visible and audible to that person. The souls have no initial memory of their past life however.

Technique Name: Teiryuu (Halt)

Description: A simple, yet costly technique that prevents a marked shinobi or summon from exerting chakra. When marked, black ripple patterns will cover the entire body of those who are marked. A marked shinobi can over come this technique by exerting [300] Chakra to overload the tag or peel it off themselves.. Only one of these tags may be put on any one person at a time.

Description: This seal was made with preservation in mind for a large area. The user places the nine seals along the border of an area. The seals are contained within the field so only someone inside the rift can deactivate the seal. The user will begin chanting at a ninth seal placed in the center between the four. Distortion patterns will appear around the area and anyone trying to enter the area through any method will find that particular goal unobtainable. The user can simply peal the center seal off its location to end the jutsu

Shiki Fūjin [Dead Demon Consuming Seal ]

Requirement: None
A seal which invokes the power of the "death god" (死神, shinigami). Once called upon, the death god hovers behind the user and wraps its left arm with prayer beads, which causes a seal to appear on it. The soul of the summoner is also seen along with the death god, restrained by its hair but still attached to the user. The death god then inserts its arm into the user's soul. At this stage only the user can see the death god. To perform the seal the user need only grasp the target. The death god's arm extends from their chest and grabs the soul of the target, immobilizing them and allowing them to see the death god as well. The death god then performs the sealing. Possible to seal multiple targets by using Shadow Clones.

Tekkō Fūin [ Iron Armor Seal ]

Requirement: Kohaku no Jōhei
This is the seal that keeps the Eight-Tails sealed inside Killer B. It takes the form of the kanji for "iron" (鉄, tetsu) on his right shoulder. The details of the seal is unknown, beyond the fact that it is stated to be lower-quality and weaker than the Four Symbols Seal

Shishō Fūin [ Four Symbol Seal ]

his is a sealing technique based on the fūinjutsu of Uzushiogakure. The sealing formula is carved into a human body or an object, and is mainly used when a giant enemy or evil spirit needs to be sealed. To use it, it is necessary for the user to have great ability.
