The fact Columba's fuku included running shoes was brilliantly convenient because the little senshi hadn't stopped zooming down the street since she finally got up the nerve to climb out of the window of the tiny Caffrey home and power up the way Sheena taught her.
For someone who talked a big game, it took a while to actually act on plans to slip away. Corrupted senshi were no big deal, but apparently breaking a grounding was something she had to take into careful consideration before fighting the fear of being caught out after nine.
Fear was long gone as Columba trekked the city like it was her personal playground, making it to a rooftop and skidding to a stop at the edge with a yelp before daring to lean over the ledge for a look at the street below with intensely pleased giggles.

The Eternal Senshi of Danger seemed to have a built in magnet for Chibi Senshi. Somehow, though he told himself and anyone who would listen that he did not like children, he always ended up hanging out with them and seeing them around. He was not sure why, but he supposed there was worse things to always run into.
Like... bears.
Though, Chaonis would not feel bad about running into a bear and punching it in the face if it annoyed him. So there was that.
He was very much a fan of leaping rooftops, and when he saw the chibi senshi doing the same thing not too far off he decided to head toward her and see how good she was. He leaped over her from the roof beside the one she was on, landing behind her and then turning to face her. He was grinning ear to ear.
"What you doing, kid?"

"WA!" Columba ended up belting a weird noise between laughter and a surprised scream as she whirled around. And then was suddenly acutely aware of his aura, the first one she could actually sense, and she reacted to the weird sensation by kind of flailing her arms out in the air in front of her as she tried to process this sixth sense.
"I dunno!" She announced, still obviously excitable about her first night powered up. And she really didn't. What was she going to do, go find that senshi that broke her camera and get revenge for her broken camera? Not likely. "I'm new, but a kitty showed me how to use my pen so now I can do this."
She flicked the bill of her hat up when she felt it sagging over her face a bit and looked Chaonis over. He definitely had more flair than her sister.
"You have wings on your butt," She finally stated as she scurried over to see them better. "Hi! I'm Sailor Chibi Columbia!" She had trouble with Columba versus Columbia, but she would get it. Eventually.

The Eternal Senshi of Danger arched an eyebrow at the sound the girl made, and watched her flailing. He did not understand that she was reacting to the sensation of feeling his aura, since that was so much second nature to him now that he had stopped sparing thought to it.
It was just like any of his other senses now, really.
"Right. Cats do that a lot. So what are you going to do, now that you can do that? That's the important part. You can either be boring, or you can have fun." He grinned. His idea of fun with his powers was not really something safe for everyone to do, least of all children. He could get her killed, very easily, especially if she was one of the more gullible types.
He wondered what he could get her to risk.
"I do have wings on my butt. That means I'm a badass, and don't you forget that." They were made of plastic, not feathers like most other ones, to match his armored appearance, "Columbia? What a weird name for a senshi. Well, whatever. You have to be sneaking around for a good reason, or you're just risking getting attacked for nothing. Which is dumb."

"I dunno!" She said again when he asked what she was going to do now. "Like, Uh... I don't know. I know this other senshi lady," She said, stumbling around 'other senshi lady' since she didn't really want to advertise her sister was already a senshi, especially after she had gotten a fantastic brush off because 'she could never understaaaand'. "Anyway she's big on this whole 'fight the Negaverse' thing but that sounds boring so I dunno," She shrugged. "I don't really care, I guess."
She went back to looking at his fuku. "She also looks very boring. And she does not have wings. If I turn into a badass, do I get wings? Do they have to go on my butt? Because that's kind of an inconvenient place for wings. Or!" She kicked up her running shoes, "I got wings on my shoes! Does that count?"
She adjusted her tie like a proper little gentleman as she pondered their outfit differences.
"Oh, phblt, I already got attacked and I wannit even dressed up! I was just in my school uniform and then this senshi in black clothes was like 'raawr' and s**t it was weird."

It had been, he might have realized if he acknowledged he had grown up a bit, back when he first started in this whole war thing. He couldn't be assed to do anything other senshi expected of him, and he avoided such responsibilities on purpose. But now things were different. he fought for his fellow senshi, he protected and trained them. He was attached to them, and this job he had not asked for and never wanted.
"You get wings if you're tough and awesome, yeah. And butt wings are the only ones that mean true badass, so no, your shoe wings don't count. You gotta prove yourself and got ones like mine."
He grinned when she cursed, though didn't comment. Pointing it out always ruined it. Kids either got awkward, or just did it more to prove how cool they were.
"Well, you just have to learn how to fight back, and then dark senshi and monsters won't be an issue." He folded his arms over his chest. "What can your attack do? Your magic?"

She made a whole series of faces as she pondered the concept of wings and the necessity of their placement on one's butt.
Her slip of a swear word had honestly gone unnoticed in her mind, though Columba could have a fairly foul mouth when she put the effort into it. But that was thing, she usually had to put effort into it, and most of the time only to make people squirm. Shock value was easy when you were the reverend's daughter in his natural habitat.
"I can fight back!" She countered, almost sounding offended. But her magic was a quick and easy distraction. "Oh! Oh! I ca-- I can--... is' really cool hol'on," She stammered before calling out 'Special Delivery!' and materializing a winged envelope in her hands. It kept struggling to fly out and away but she tried her best to keep her grip on it, waving it at Chaonis, "Take it! Take it! Open it!" There was some sense of urgency to press him to tear open the paper containing glittery magic dust. It had a tendency to fly around like a derp or vanish first, but she was giggling with unabashed dorkishness in anticipation.
Her 'attack' had already been used on herself and others too many times, with the sudden shock of endorphins and happy feelings being an endless source of amusement.

"Alright, Columbine," he said, folding his arms over her chest and letting her use her magic. He was interested in seeing what it did and not too worried that it would do anything particularly bad to him. He was an Eternal, for one, and she was just a little baby.
He wondered how she would take that? He would call her that later and see what happened.
Chaonis arched an eyebrow and moved to take the envelope, pulling it toward him. He was sure it was going to be like Jokey Smurf, who handed other smurfs packages and somehow they always opened them despite the fact that they always exploded in their face and left them covered in soot.
"What's this do, eh?"

"Columbeedidumdine of correspondeondundence," She said sarcastically covering up the fact she had as much trouble saying her own name and sphere as the typical kid did saying aluminum ambulance five time fast.
"It's a letter, dummy, you rip it open and it makes you feel good!" Which, for being simple terms was exactly all it did. A goofy, happy high for a hot second and then nothing. Entirely useless in battle, but she had gotten a few personal laughs out of it, which was about all the usefulness she needed.

Carneli He let her have her stroke while he examined the envelope. He shrugged, not particularly careful on the best of days, and opened it up. He was surprised that it gave him a little burst of some kind of high, though he didn't feel like his fighting skills were any better. Still, he let out a laugh. "Ha! That's a neat trick. I wonder what it'll do when you get stronger. I mean, assuming you don't get killed before that." He grinned at her, though he didn't stop to think at about it. He had seen senshi being killed, and knew it happened, but tried to train them so they didn't. He never thought about chibi senshi getting killed. Did the negaverse target them because they were smaller? Was that why some of the ones he had seen so often before weren't around now? He had to admit, he worried a little bit, now that the thought was in his head. And he didn't like worrying about anything.

"Yeah it's pretty funny," She cackled. It didn't seem to do much of anything but she'd said earlier she didn't care about fighting anyway. She didn't see the problem, since it seemed like a lot more fun than the other senshi attacks she'd seen.
"Pft," She snorted and rolled her eyes. "Who'd wanna kill me? I mean all you guys do is run aroun' punching the ones in the black outfits, right? I mean I don't even know what they do. And besides, I'm adorable."
She gave the wrist bands on her gloves a bit of a tug and shrugged. "I mostly just wanted to use my powers to see how they tag overpasses," At least that was mystery that was relevant to her interests.

Chaonis arched his eyebrow. Who would want to kill her? He supposed he didn't know, on a personal level, since he had only just met her and though he was bad with kids he certainly didn't get the inclination to murder her outright.
"Adorable isn't the word that I came up with, but it doesn't really matter to them. The Negaverse and all those chaos people that pretend their different but, really, they're all just bad guys. If one catches you, they might do something bad. I dunno."
He shrugged and tilted his head at her.
"You want to tag an overpass?" Because that was clearly what she had said, and he, the bad influence that he was, was more than willing to give it a try with her. He'd written a few inappropriate words on the sides of buildings before: how was this much different? Especially to a senshi, who had finely tuned cop evading abilities.

"Well what word did you have in mind?" She quipped. "Stunning? Mature? Devilishly handsome?" She crooned, leaning close to him and fluttering her eyelashes and entirely unsympathetic to the awkward situation of a thirteen year old asking a guy if he found her attractive.
And Columba was deadly serious because she was thirteen. Those are rough fangirl years, man.
"Oh! Yes, I do. Well, I mean, actually doing it would be awesome but I mostly want to see how because it's like, man, how do they get up there? It's gotta be wild plus there are cars and stuff underneath I tried to tag an overhead walkway once but I couldn't climb right but I also wasn't a senshi then and a security guard totally caught me and freaked me out bad man and then I fell on my a** and ugh that hurt but I had to shake it off because if my dad found out whoooooo," Her ENDLESS babble without a breath taken was paused to whistle and perform a hand motion to describe the figurative anger, "I mean not that he has any idea I leave the house after his stupid curfew he thinks he thinks I don't do anything without him knowing but it's like b***h, please, you have no ******** idea I mean he is too busy with his stupid job which is not even like a real job and stuff anyway and then my sister is a total b***h--" Absolutely not a single pause among it all.
"What is Chaos?" She did remember that she had asked her sister before, and was brushed off before she walked off to gossip with stupid Lydia whoever she was because stupid Lydia was allowed to talk about senshi things and stupid Evie was allowed to talk about senshi things but Columba just got lectured on keeping her nose out of wars.
"Because I mean it sounds like fun but my sister is like 'No, bad!'"

Chaonis grinned at her but didn't fill in the blank like she asked him to. Let her think what she wanted. He had no real issues with girls having crushes on him, even if they are just for a couple of minutes or if they lasted longer.
He was a good looking guy, he was confident, and he was fun. Who wouldn't like that? Sure, he was also an a*****e and got people into heaps of trouble, but come on. It seemed like a fair trade.
He listened to her story for the most part, but looked bored and then started looking around. He moved away from her, hopping up as high as he could get so he could look around. There had to be something suitable for them to tag nearby. Of course, they would have to get the paint, too.
But that was a simple break and enter job.
The best influence in the world looked down at the younger senshi, hearing her last question, at least.
"Chaos are the bad guys. It's that bad vibe some people give off, instead of the nice one you're getting off me. You'll know it when you feel it, anyway."

"But.. chaos doesn't..." Columba trailed off in confusion. Chaotic things usually had a tendency to be more fun, she didn't understand Chaos with a capital C at all.
"Oh." Was all she could say. She had encountered agents of Chaos before but never while powered. A chaotic aura was still an untapped sensation for her.
"Whatcha lookin' for?" She asked, trying to climb after him. "Hey, what's your name?"
