Nuru was stalking yet another victim. Ears alert and tail raised rigidly as he caught the scent of a fresh new student to investigate. They smelled... nice. Different. He decided to be a bit more forward this time and outright approached the student, raising his hand, "'Ey you?"

Siddie looked up from her phone, giving the other student a bright, if slightly puzzled, smile. Had she met this boil before? She didn't think so. Still, meeting new people was usually a good thing. "Hello," she chirped. "Can I help you?"

"Yah!" Nuru almost cheered as he hauled out a notebook and pen. "Ah've got some questions foa a survey ahm doin'," Nuru didn't like lying but... it couldn't be helped. "Mind if ah ask some questions?"

"Oooh, pretteh," Nuru wrote down both just in case. "What are ya? What grade ya in? Do you like everythin' about t' school?" He decided to rapid fire his questions a bit now, in case some sounded suspicious.

"I'm a monster, a living shadow," Siddie replied. "I'm in second year right now, but I'll be testing to move up soon." She sounded proud. The last question made her hesitate a little, though. "Well, some of the activities have turned out to be more dangerous than I expected, but I think they've helped me grow a lot." She put her hand up to toy with the bronze spearhead on her necklace. "Is this survey for a class?" Saliru That's probably from me failing to get the right username. Sorry D:

Nuru jotted everything down before looking curious, "What sort of activitehs?"
He looked worried at the ghouls own brand of questioning. Best not to lie more than necessary, "Uh... no.. not foa' a class." He left it up to her to figure out. Not about to give everything away.

"Field trips, some of the field classes, you know," Siddie said, a little nervously. At the assurance it wasn't for a class, though, she relaxed somewhat. She didn't really want her name on something too critical about the school - she wasn't too worried about getting in trouble, but her mother would happily take an excuse to pull her out of school if it was handed to her on a silver platter. "I didn't really expect to encounter, um, humans," she added, deciding at the last moment to change her wording.

"Oh yah! Seeing t'humans has been best part for me so fah!" Nuru seemed to miss Siddie's point entirely.
"Welp. One last question then ah'll leave y'alone. If there was annehthin' you'd change about school what would it be?"

"Anything I'd change ..." Siddie put a thoughtful finger to her lips, considering the question. "I think," she said finally, "that I don't really know enough about things to say that they should be changed. There's more reasons behind what the professors do than what I know. So that's not really quite a fair question." She folded her hands across her bodice and gave Nuru a calm smile. "I'm sorry I can't be more helpful," she added. "When I first got here, I probably would've told you a lot should change. But I've learned things since then. I think that's good." Saliru I LOST THE THREAD orz I'm sorry
