What an interesting place she had discovered. It oozed and gurgled everywhere she turned, and the trees wore relaxed expressions on their faces as she passed. She heard frogs chirping at the water and mud and heard various bugs cursing at each other as they flew by.

What an interesting place, indeed. She stepped carefully, but not because of the muck of the swamp. Her flesh crackled and crumbled and she lost pieces of herself on the ground as she went, making her hesitant to move any further. If the breaking didn't subside soon, she wouldn't be able to continue her exploring tonight. It was too difficult to trudge through the swamp while fearing that she would break apart and be lost in it forever.

She paused in her advances for a moment, observing the interesting place around her and listening to its groggy voice. The yellow of her pelt stuck out against the dark greens and browns of the swamp and she stood in the middle of it quite unaware of her contrast. She wondered if there were others here besides the water spiders that skittered so elegantly along the top of the water. She had never seen a spider that could skip on water, and the new discovery made her smile. "How odd we both are," she said to one of the interesting little creatures.
