In this guild we have a "License System" that is used to rank and scale what player are able to do and what kind of access they have to rare and restricted items or Pokémon.
This License System is used to measure all sorts of things from Jobs Available to Gym Battles to TM Access this is a crucial system used by Members and Crew alike. As well, there are three "Special" Licenses, that are essentially safety certificates for the main methods of travel using Pokémon.
Licenses are put on a Ranking Scale from E to S Ranked.
E Ranked
Are given out commonly to any family that wants to have a Pokémon as the house-hold pet. All that is required to obtain this license is a short test to see if the person or persons can take care of the Pokémon.
D Ranked
Are given out to new trainers who pass the Trainers Exam and Mock Battle. All Player Characters start out with a D Ranked License even if their character is from another region. While Player Characters may Roleplay the obtaining of this License if they wish, it is not a necessity.
C Ranked
Are given out to those who pass the C Rank License Exam, which is done in two parts: A difficult C Ranked Mission which the Trainer is to solve on their own, then a battle with the local Gym Leader who uses a C Ranked Team. C Ranked License holders have proven their skill as a trainer and more dangerous evolutions of Pokémon are no longer Restricted to them. As well, they can access any C Ranked TM from the PC Network by updating their trainer license at any PC.
B Ranked
Are given to those who pass the B Rank License Exam, this exam is done in three parts. Part 1 tests the trainers ability to lead his or her team and solve difficult problems. Part 2 tests their teams loyalty and how well they listen to and respect their trainer. Part 3 tests both of Part 1 & 2 in a battle with the local Gym Leader. This Test is only administered in Tremello City, Killuminati City, Black Bird City, Maestro Village and Metallica City. B Ranked Trainers have access to all B Rank & earlier TM's as well as the majority of B Ranked Missions, most clients turn away in experienced trainers. As well, any Pokémon caught from an early stage Evolution and raised to what is a Restricted Pokémon is no longer considered to dangerous for B Ranked Trainers who may freely use them. As well, Pokémon classified as "Highly Restricted" are now catch-able freely by any B Ranked Trainer.
A Ranked
A Ranked are the elite of all regular Trainers. They have great skill and battling ability and are counted among the greatest trainers in the Region. To Upgrade from a B Ranked License there is a 4 Part Exam. The first part is giving the trainer what is considered a highly restricted Pokémon to see their level of skill in "taming" it. If the Trainer is able to tame it they move onto the second part which is introducing it to its team members to deal with an A Ranked Mission. From there, the remaining two parts test the Trainers skill in battle and the bonds and loyalty or respect from the team to the Trainer.
Trainers who pass the A Rank Exam are granted the right to do any and all A Ranked Missions, as well as access to all A Rank TM's. Up to Very Restricted Pokémon are freely catch-able because they have demonstrated their talent and skill with dealing with such dangerous Pokémon
S Ranked
The S Rank is Crew Restricted, those who wish to gain an S-Rank License and the moderator abilities that come with it must first prove their dedication to the guild by having an A Ranked License for starters. All those who come into the crew are discussed by all members of the crew and a 2/3rds Majority consensus must be reached. S Ranks have no special in character powers above that of an A Ranked, the are essentially just Crew and Moderators for the guild.
All Gym Leaders and Elite Four count as an S Ranked License Holder.
