Eldrid Ofenhund was starting to second-guess coming to school.
It was just so big, and tightly fit and he was now living in the middle of the monster dorm and everyone was saying that it was nice because everything was so warm now. He was feeling a little overwhelmed and claustrophobic. Wandering outside, he allowed himself to try and submerge himself in the walk, paying little attention to where he was going - to an extent.
Got to watch out, a little, when you're made of lava.

Xavier had been having a nice walk.
Or maybe not quite. But at least there was nothing extravagant happening, he was not stuck up in a tree, he was not being run over by other students (or used as chairs), and he was most definitely not going to get lost.
Much.
He was, however, going to run into other people it seemed, since the very next second Xavier literally ran into someone standing just outside of one of the dorm buildings, bounced backwards awkwardly, and promptly fell over.
Just his luck.
Then he lay there uselessly because what was the point of getting up, anyway.

And then it hit him.
No, wait.
Something actually did hit him. Blinking from his confused reverie, he turned and looked up in front of him, expecting what-ever to hit him to be still evident and in his face. But, it wasn't. It was on the ground.
Ashen eyebrows pinned upwards as he finally reeled backwards, he finally came to a fully realization, going to lean down and help the student on the ground. "s**t, I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there!" He cried out, going to help him, trying to get him on his feet. "I sometimes get lost in my head, and it's really busy here. . . I'm drooling, please be careful." He finished, going to rub some of the hot magma excess off his face, hoping not to burn the demon. Lightly brushing him off, dark eyebrows raised up as he gave him a once over, red eyes smiling a bit.
"Better, right! I didn't break anything. . . right?"

"It's okay," said Xavier heavily. "Happens all the time. No, really."
A pair of hands grabbed him, hauling him to his feet, and Xavier gave a long, morose sigh, flipping his long hair away from his face and brushing leaves and grass from his clothes.
"You're - what?" Did he just say drooling. He did, didn't he. Why did he have to run into this sort of person.
"No, no, nothing's broken. Nothing except my spirit."

"Happens all the time?" he stated, a little incredulously as he looked the demon over, the long sigh making his ears flick and swivel forward as he attempted to figure out what was making this new boil look so down.
"Well that's not good at all, you look like a steady person. They should at least apologize." He figured, before standing back finally, giving him a look over again.
"I'm sure I could find somehing to help your . . . spirit," He answered, giving him a look. "I owe it to you, since I kind of ran you over. I'm Eldrid, a pleasure to meet you, at least?" He decided, offering his hand to shake a little, hoping he wasn't alienating himself too much.
