Kaiel loved to take his morning walk to the beach, it was one of his daily rituals. The crisp, cool air whipping against his fur, the smell of salt wafting through the air, the feeling of the sand between his paws, all of these things made up the perfect alternative to a strong cup of coffee. To be honest, he really didn't need to wake up, he was always a bright shining ball of energy, but it was a reason to roll out of bed before his father's woke up. He liked to have his own time to himself, to think, to reflect...
And to skinny dip like a fool.
"BANZAAAAIII!" He cried, diving head first into the freezing cold, sunrise hued waves before him. His clothes were neatly folded on a rock pile behind him, pushed far away from the possibility of getting dirty from the sands below, and it seemed that all other restrictions had been left to abandon. He floated and dunked himself under water, laughing all the while.

Unbeknownst to Kaiel, there was another noodle wandering the beach that morning. Carrying her favorite parasol and beach towel, Bridgette waltzed calmly along the sunlight strewn sands, her crimson eyes scouting out a potential resting spot. It was a rare craving for the young lady to venture out so early in the morning, but as they say, when the beach calls to you, you cannot resist. Her wings fluttered gently with the breeze, her long, dark fur blowing along with them, creating a "vision" like effect as she trotted along.
She placed her belongings directly in front of the rock pile where Kaiel had placed his clothes and began to roll out her blanket. But just as she bent down to unfurl the ribbon that held it together, the file of clothing caught her attention. She blinked and whipped her head around to try and figure out if she was truly alone. After a moment of searching she decided to inspect the clothes by poking her nose upon the neatly folded fabric and smiled softly at the scent coming from the clothing.
"Freshly cleaned..." She muttered, blushing. "But, it's obvious that these jeans are designed for a male. Where could he be...?"

While Bridgette examined his clothing, Kaiel watched from behind a rock that protruded out of the water. He had never seen such a beautiful noodle before! Her fur was dark, her eyes were sparkly, and her wings were so shiny! A furious flush anointed his cheeks as his own crimson eyes gazed over her figure, from her muzzle to her long, luscious tail, had he just spied a goddess? Unfamiliar feelings flooded through his chest, causing him to hold his breath and sink back beneath the waves in order to find some relief from the heat taking hold of his body, but for all his efforts, he couldn't seem to look away from her for more than a split second.
He climbed up on top of the stone and perched himself carefully there, posing much like he were ready to pounce. She had sat down and begun to read a foreign novel she had carried within her towel, and a twinge of fear sprang through his heart.
"Darn..." He thought. "She's reading a french novel! That's completely out of my league..."

French was a language that Bridgette had been born into, but was taken away from as a child, thus, she read romance novels in order to reconnect with her native tongue. At the present time, her understanding of the language was accurate enough for her not to have to carry a French to English dictionary everywhere she went, but she certainly wasn't as fluent as she was as a kit. Between flipping the pages of her book and playing with the sand with her toes, she would glance upwards at the rising sun and smile before continuing her learning. It was during one of these short glances that Kaiel decided to move to the top of the rock and steal a gander at her, prompting her to blush and giggle at the rather silly looking male.
"I see you there, sir!" She greeted, gazing curiously to him. "Isn't it too cold to swim in February? You'll catch your death out there!"

Kaiel's eyes flew wide open as Bridgette addressed him, he had been spotted! He scrambled backwards in an attempt to hide from her gaze, but failed to account for the slipperiness of the algae on the rock, and fell face first into the water. Though he was stunned for a moment, instincts took over for him and he quickly made his way to the safety of the shore. Soaked red tresses lay strewn over his crimson flushed cheeks as he gimped out of the water. He was more than mortified, and he hadn't even spoken a word to her! What made it worse for him was that she was seated right where he had placed his clothes, making it nearly impossible to leave without causing himself more social discomfort. It looked as if he was going to have to converse with her if he wanted to leave with just a shred of dignity left to his name.
"Uh, heh, heeeh..." He stuttered, parting the hair from his eyes as he moved to stand beside her. "I guess I needed to go for one last dip in cold water before I tried to talk to a goddess..."

"Oh my goood!" Bridgette cried as she saw Kaiel fall. She scrambled up from her seat and nearly darted into the water to rescue him, but was relieved to see him swim out on his own. At first she thought he looked very strange, but as he walked up to her and parted the hair from his eyes, a stark blush crossed her features. He was so handsome! Surly a perfect gem! And that blush, it echoed her own! She sat back down on her blanket and squeaked, stunned at the beautiful compliment he had offered her. Her eyes gazed to his while she found herself fumbling for words for the first time in her life.
"I... I..." She said, trying to keep herself from leaning in to close to him, fearing that she might scare him off. Her eyes wandered over his body while she thought of things to say, and she was more than pleased by all that she saw. He was an absolute masterpiece! "Thank you..." She finally replied, half smirking up at him. "But, if I am a Goddess, then you are surely a God..."

Kaiel's heartbeat flew into a frenzy. Did she just compliment him? This was incredible! No one, especially a girl, had ever complimented him on anything! His eyes glittered and he swore he was floating on air as she gazed upon him and smirked. She liked him! She liked him! This was awesome! He had to go tell his da- Then, something dawned on him. There was a girl, standing in front of him, and he wanted to run home and squee about it to his fathers?! Oh, hell no! He was going to act cool for once! There would be no daddy's boy this morning! That could wait until later... Much later...
He flopped down beside her with a playful smile, a new found bravery emerging from all corners of his personality, and rolled onto his back. He raised his front paws and stroked the fur upon her cheeks with a smirk.
"Well, then..." He replied, raising an eyebrow at her. "We're a pair of regal folk aren't we then, beautiful?"

Bridgette giggled at his playfulness. Not only was he a ravishing young fellow, but he had an adorably sweet personality to balance him out! Oooh, she had found pure gold today! She smiled and lay beside him, allowing herself to roll onto her back and abandon just a smidgen of her pride, something she had found difficult to do when with anyone else. This boy was different. He wasn't fake or seductive, like all of the other guys she had come across, and she was very pleased to know that there were men out there that were both handsome and humorous. She leaned over to her side and faced him, pawing at his chest playfully.
"Would you mind telling me your name, my king?" She asked. Her heart fluttered around in circles, she was certain that she was experiencing true love.

Kaiel didn't hesitate to wiggle in closer to Bridgette and paw gently at her. He was truly immersed in her eyes and the way she spoke to him, she was a dream come true! At this point they were nearly muzzle to muzzle and he could feel her breath upon his fur. He wanted to hold her, but he didn't want to jump into something so fast, he wanted to do this the right way. It was all a question of whether he could hold his feelings back long enough to do so.
"My name is Kaiel." He replied, nuzzling his nose against hers. "What is my lovely queen called?"

As their bodies grew closer to each other, Bridgette could sense that Kaiel wanted to cuddle up to her, a prospect that sent butterflies through her stomach. She had never felt so free before, where had she been? She had been after the wrong men all this time! It was obvious that he wasn't very wealthy, but strangely, that didn't seem to matter to her at all! Material things had always been a big part of her life... How could one single, beautiful being change her very soul so quickly? Nothing else mattered to her while she was so close to him... She simply had to have him as her own.
"I am Bridgette, Bridgette Bawnswar the third..." She replied, nuzzling up to his chest, purring softly. "You may call me Bridgette..." Her eyes closed and she zeroed in on his heartbeat. Their hearts had found an identical beat. It was clear to her, he was her missing piece. But, anxiety still wavered within her core. Would this be a failed attempt? She gazed up at his face once more and smiled. She wouldn't give herself away, not yet.
"Tell me, do you have a family, Kaiel?" She asked, still resting her head contentedly upon his chest.

Kaiel cuddled Bridgette close to his chest and bit back all urges to kiss her. He didn't want to kiss on their first meeting! That was too awkward! It might even scare her away! Her nuzzles were enough for him to take as it was! She seemed very content with him, and he wanted to keep it that way.
"I do have a family," He said, smiling down at her. "I have two adoptive fathers, three adoptive siblings, and a niece and a nephew from my adoptive brother. Their mother is also staying with us. My sisters don't live with us, so for the longest time it was just my brother, my fathers and I in our little cottage..." He paused, chuckling. "Then, a few days ago, I found out I was an uncle to two loud, hyperactive bowls! Ha! My dad, Shayden, wasn't able to speak! I thought it was the cutest thing!"

Bridgette held her breath for a moment as Kaiel spoke. He was a part of what sounded like a loving, happy family. Two fathers, three siblings, a niece, a nephew and the mother of those children, all surrounding such a gentle, handsome young man. Her very soul was moved, he was the one! There was nothing else that would deter her from having him as her husband! Even if it meant becoming a part of an already enormous family and losing a little bit more of her pride... She would have to shed it all for him.
"Do you think your family has room for one more...?" She asked, flushing bright pink. "I would love nothing more than to meet the family that raised such a wonderful man." She nuzzled his chest and purred. "I promise to pull my weight and help out with the little ones... I only want to be with you, Kaiel."

Kaiel was stunned. He, too, held his breath. It took him a moment to think about what she was asking. Would his family mind another member? Would she like how crazy his family could become during the day? Could she handle the stress of babysitting such hyperactive children? Hell, could he handle having a girlfriend to begin with? He took a deep breath, held it in, and grinned.
"I think that would be perfect, Bridgette!" He exclaimed, exhaling what felt like a massive weight pressing against his chest. "But my family can be kind of... Er... Crazy..." He paused, looking for the words to continue. "My father, Seth, is loud and often unintelligible throughout the day. My dad, Shayden, is almost asocial and hides under tables. My sisters are equally strange. My brother is loud, wild, but very sensitive. His children are loud and could become just like him..." His eyes grew distant for a moment as if he remembered something painful. "And... I can be very clumsy, slow and naive..." He gulped and gazed anxiously down at her. "If you think you can handle all of that... Then I would love nothing more than to bring you home to meet them today..."

All of the things that Kaiel said washed over Bridgette's mind. She could almost picture what it would be like for her, living in a cottage full of loud, crazy people, with the love of her life. At first thought she wanted to stick up her nose and walk away, but something tugged her back, Kaiel's anxieties. She perceived a hidden guilt or sadness that he harbored against himself for being who he was. Instantly, she knew she could not turn her back on him. Breaking his heart would break his confidence, which could and probably would lead to the downfall of his gentle, genuine nature. She would not be the cause of that if she could help it!
"I think I could handle it, Kaiel." She replied. "It may be difficult for me at first, but eventually, I would be able to get along with all of your family members." Then, she kissed him on the cheek. "And don't you put yourself down. You're perfect to me, no matter what you think you are."

Every ounce of anxiety lifted off of Kaiel's chest at the moment. She wasn't going to run away! His family didn't seem to scare her at all. This was a major relief. He had always feared that, if he ever found his true love, that his crazy family would make every girl turn and run. But, Bridgette was truly different. She wasn't the least bit afraid of what could happen and that made his heart soar. Suddenly, he could no longer control himself, he leaned in and planted a kiss on her lips. It was one of the most exciting feelings he had ever experienced.
However, the pair soon found that a simple kiss would not be enough for them. The beach became a whole new frontier for both noodles that morning and neither of them could control it. They were certain of their destiny together, a bond that could not be broken. Many others would call it "too soon" or "too fast", but at the end of it all, the couple rose stronger than the hours before. No longer single, no longer uncertain. Kaiel and Bridgette found their soulmates in each other, all in one day.
