((All bad words and anything over pg-13 has been edited out. Please also be aware if you aren't a fan of blood it wouldn't be wise to read.))

Glaive gave a soft snort of dissapproval as she sat in the tree slowly licking the blood from her fingers. Well that had been just a complete bust, not only had he lived, but he had managed to hurt her as well in the process of him getting away. Her side stung from the slash mark but she wasn't overly worried about it. This was just... such a terrible day.

Crimson had been more wary lately since she had found out this world not only had freaking DEER, the mythological creatures she had heard of since infancy but also had a league of assassins who had the deer as the NURSE. So when she picked up on the blood she actually hesitated at first, thinking it might be from one of those she hadn't met yet. Sniffing again she perked up when she recognized the sinfully sweet smell of Glavie. That couldn't be her blood. No way in hell. Taking off toward the scent she felt a frown on her face. If that really was the b*****d better hope he had died. Cause no one hurt Glaive. No. One.

Glaive hissed softly as she moved wrong pulling the wound. This was the first time in a long time she had managed to mess up this badly. She was still young of course, having only been doing this for a few years and she couldn't remember ever messing up this badly. The last time something like this had happened her daddy had been the one to help her clean it up but even then the other hadn't managed to lay a finger on her. She gave a soft groan, she needed to get home and bandage her wound, not that she could properly reach it. She loathed the thought of moving at this moment, it would just hurt to move; it was then a soft sound caught her attention and she lifted her head pulling out her weapon. Was he coming back to finish the job?

Finally catching up to about where the smell was strongest she realized there was another smell of blood with Glaive's, however it wasn't as strong and that was not at all good. She was about to rush to the femme but her instincts told her to wait a bit, caution winning out. Glancing around the area she noticed there wasn't anyone around. Still, to be safe she sent her magic out in a wave of protection, letting her know if anyone got too close and also hoping Glaive would recognize the magic before she decided to further her injury along by trying to attack the assassin. It wouldn't end well, she could tell just by the amount of blood she could smell. She made her way out slowly and cautiously. "What hell have you been raising?"

Glaive shivered for a moment before she recognized the magic and slowly she lowered her weapon. "Crim?" She asked softly holstering it, not that she wanted Crim to see her like this but she didn't have much of a choice at the moment. At the question she gave a light laugh before hissing softly. "Only the best kinds of course." She said before shrugging. "Hit gone arry, I suppose you could say."

Frowning at the hiss even before the other explained she easily jumped up next to the kit in the tree. She could see the wound easily, and noted it hadn't been even slightly treated yet. Not to mention bandaged. "Well of course I expected it of you....but this is new." Gently reaching out her hand she didn't touch the injury but just gently ghosted her hand over it, her eyes meeting Glaive's as she did so and a very serious and deadly expression in them. "Tell me the ******* is dead."

Glaive felt the hand ghost over her wound and she twitched slightly at the semi there contact. "It's... the first time a hit has gone so far of course for me." She muttered before snorting and breaking eye contact with Crim. "No, he got away, injured but alive." She commented softly and it was clear she was displeased by this thought. "I will have to track him down in the morning." She grumbled as she lowered her eyes.

Slipping her cloak off from around her belt she eyed it before giving it to Glaive. "This will be used for a bandage until we can get better ones. I don't have any water on me so we'll have to go without....unless you want me to lick it clean." She let her voice tease on that but she was also rather serious. Spit had a natural healing property to it and the taste of blood didn't deter her in teh slightest. "I don't have healing magic but I can certainly dry it up more to stop the flow." However seeing her upset Crim knew she had to do something. Grinning maliciously she gripped Glaive's chin and brought her eyes back up to meet hers. "No. I will bring his sorry a** to YOU. Then I'll pin him down why you decide what fate he'll have. And if you don't feel up to it I'll skin him alive before your eyes. A fitting punishment I'd say."

Glaive watched her remove the cloak and shivered for a moment before wrapping up in it like a kitten. "Lick it clean? While the thought of that is nice, I don't want you getting bits of string caught in your mouth from my outfit." Said with a slight shrug before being forced to look at her, her eyes going hooded at the thought and a soft purr escaping her. "You spoil me Crimson, but I can't say I would be opposed. I hurt so bad right now, and not in the good way at all." She let out a soft sigh breath brushing across Crimson's face. "I just want something to take my mind off of it."

She rather liked the way Glaive looked in her clothes, knowing that later she'd probably smell like the cat demon which sent a pleasant shiver down her spine. "I'd be more then glad to do that, even with the threat of string and grime." Smirking she let her own eyes hood a soft rumbling purr going through her chest. "I would spoil you a million times over if I knew at the end of the day I could hear the sound of your voice." Suppressing a growl she let her magic trail down to the wound and clot it slowly, allowing her eyes to slowly trace the female's face. Her tail resting against the others she only could think 'What the hell' before leaning down and kissing the kit slowly but passionately. Hey, she had said she wanted her mind off it.

Glaive gave a soft smirk, rather amused by the response. She was about to offer up a grand retort one that probably would have landed her a bit in over her head when she instead found herself trembling because of a growl and then gasping slightly at the feeling of lips on hers. Despite all her play, her teasing, her joking and flirting, her big talk and other nonsense, she had never in her life kissed another person, if one didn't count the kiss to her mom's cheek or her father's shoulder or even the occasional one for the top of her brother's head. Never had she been kissed like this before and it was a whole new experience but one that wasn't at all unpleasant. It left her head spinning and her heart fluttering and she couldn't seem to remember what the proper thing to do in this sort of situation was. So she ended up kissing back, sloppily but with some grace, before she eventually found that air was indeed something she enjoyed and had to break away to breath though she didn't move far. Her lips still brushing Crimson's her eyes closed and her breath falling across the other's face. "I..." She what? She couldn't even remember... oh yes that was right the retort. "Let me bathe first and then you can explore my body with your tongue..." She gave another soft pant her forehead falling forward against Crim's. Her tail twisting up to wind around the other's.

It wasn't the most earth shattering kiss but Crimson knew that those kinds of kisses only led to downfall and destruction. She remembered Tay giving her Romeo and Juliet once when she was bored and had found such perfect cookie cutter love to be so disgusting that she burned the book. While she had her ears ringing from Tay's voice later she had never wanted something like that. She knew the kit wasn't as experienced as her, hell Crim called her a kit for a reason but that didn't change the fact that this kiss in all it's sloppy realness set her blood on fire and made her breath catch just enough that she wondered how long it'd be before she had to breathe again and that dying like this wouldn't be dull at all. When they broke for air she thought about smirking, pulling back all her flirtatiousness to ease the tension she felt but she didn't. Instead she leaned forward and just watched her as she spoke. "I suppose I can allow that. Though the temptation you would present might be a bit much." It was true, but Crimson knew she could restrain herself if Glaive wanted. She was beginning to learn that she suddenly was willing to do a lot of things more willingly if Glaive wanted.

Glaive made a soft sound, somewhere between a mewl and a purr a darling noise really. "Well... if you simply can't help yourself." She smirked softly before shaking her head. "I will actually need you to help me bandage this." She indicated her wound. "I can't get to it well enough." She lifted a hand lightly to tuck one of Crimson's pieces of hair back. It was rare that one got to see such a tender side of her and it was rare one ever got this close to her. She wasn't sure what was going on, or what emotions could be building themselves up inside of her and she currently didn't want to find out. "Your place or mine?"

Actually smiling at the noise she leaned forward and gave a soft n** to the kit's ear. "How could I ever help myself around you?" Leaning slightly into the touch she wondered what the hell was up with all this and how the hell it was going to end. It had been a very long time since she'd gotten this soft around someone. She only hoped Glaive wouldn't..."We can head to my place if you want....I'm still not sure if I'm excited or horrified at the prospect of running into your parents for the first time while you're covered in blood." Gathering the other up in her arms she adjusted her. "Comfortable?"

Glaive gave a soft mewl at the n** before swatting gently at Crimson. "I'm not sure, I am so very delightful." She commented softly as she adjusted herself lightly in Crimson's arms, wrapping her own arms around the female's neck. "Your place sounds just fine, so long as it has a warm bed and hot water it will be the best place to be." She said with a slight smile before shaking her head. "Hmmm probably both but just to be on the safe side and make sure mom doesn't freak and dad doesn't flip lets go to your place and yes very comfortable." She stated tucking into her.

She made it a point to want to make her make more noises like that in the future. Lifting her she tried to make her jump off the tree gentle, for sure making sure nothing would hit Glaive's wound while she did so. "I promise I have all of that. Plus, you get the honor of knowing where to find me most of the time in this boring place." She stifled a chuckle as the other leaned against her chest. "Your parents sound interesting but honestly scary as hell. I've never had to meet anyone's parents....except for Rec's. If I have to base meeting parents off that I think I might never want to meet them. Ever." Cause Rec's mom had been scary as hell, even for the cat demon. Crim hadn't had a family. If she had she knew she'd be protective of them and probably love them. How someone turned on their loved ones like Harmonius did was beyond her. "So, explain how the this idiot go ahold of you? Lucky hit?"
PostPosted: Sat Feb 02, 2013 2:35 pm

"This is very true, then I don't have to go and wait in the middle of the woods for you to find me. I can just come and visit you." She said with a small smirk. She was content and comfortable where she was finding it to be a comfortable place. "Ah my parents aren't that bad. Mom can be a bit protective and daddy and I have an odd sort of father daughter relationship but that could be said about the whole family." She shook her head before she huffed and tucked her face into Crim's chest. She didn't want to talk about how he had managed to get a hit in on her. "Lucky hit and me getting too cocky. It was supposed to be a simple hit, he wasn't supposed to have any weapons or any fight left in him. I was apparently misinformed. The person who was supposed to be slipping him poisons didn't and he was not at all what I had been expecting when I attacked. I should have just shot him from a distance, really should have, but I wanted to do it by hand. Getting too cocky in my skills." She grumbled.

"We do tend to meet each other in the woods more often then not don't we?" She'd find that incredibly amusing if she hadn't recently decided the woods were one of the most interesting places this world had to offer. "Excellent I have to worry about your protective mom and a dad who might decide he doesn't want his little girl around a big bad assassin." She wondered if her parents would have ever acted like that if she had stayed with them. It was an odd thought, and one that made her nose wrinkle before she could stop herself. "You should know better then to trust someone you don't know well to poison someone. If you need a poisoner find me. I know quite a few that will do the trick and are pretty hard to track." When they were finished with her wound she might show off some of her personal stock of poisons. They were getting closer and the trees were beginning to thin. She hoped Glaive didn't mind a bit of cold, her cave was relatively warm but the first area could get a bit damp. "Well he might be lucky at having gotten a wound on you, but he should have realized where one assassin comes from another will follow.....and his death will be unpleasant."

"We do, it seems to be were we find each other all the time." She said in amusement before she gave a soft huff. "Well to be fair I wasn't the one that got to pick out my partner this time. I was merely given a when and a where and set loose. Honestly I should have known better but ugh." She gave a soft huff and grumbled. "Awww well considering mom is a warrior queen and dad is some crazy cheshire thing with a clock heart I am sure they won't mind." She giggled softly before looking up at her. "Are you offering to start helping me with my hits Crim? Is that what I am hearing?" She asked playfully before looking off to the side. "He should have, but I suppose it was his fight or flight instincts kicking in."

Chuckling slightly at that she grinned. "Well the forest is right outside of my house so that might explain why we meet so often." It was true. She could see the little hill that held her cave straight ahead, about ten minutes. Checking her reserves she growled slightly. She had just enough to check the area but she didn't want to drain herself while Glaive was in her care. Her magic was used up so much quicker here where it was uncommon. "Warrior queen and chesire?" Well that would explain some things. She wondered who would win in a fight, Fern from back home or Glaive's mom. She wouldn't place bets on either but that would be one hell of a fight. "You don't have a clock heart do you?" She glanced down, searching for any sign of one and strained her hearing for the ticking. "Of course I'm offering to help. Hell, if you want to handle it on your own you can but if I'm there to watch I can make sure no bastards land a single hit on you." She gripped the kit a little harder at that, her protective instincts kicking in.

"That could explain it yes. I live over on the other side of it, it leads almost right up to our front door." She stated softly pointing vaguely with her hand in the direction her home was. Her mother had been smart in how she built their house with her father, had been careful in crafting their grounded home in this world. "Yep, that is them. As for my heart... it's a cross between the two? Hard to explain honestly, but yes. What does it matter if I do happen to have a clock heart?" She asked tilting her head. "Would that mean you wouldn't like me suddenly?" There was a teasing lit to her voice but under that one could hear the soft apprehension. "You really are going to spoil me rotten. I perhaps wouldn't mind your help from time to time. Though normally I can handle it just fine." She shrugged.

"And here I thought we were just drawn to each other when in reality we're just neighbors.....of a sort." Finally getting out of the tree line she tensed as she waited for any sign of attack. Only glancing down at Glaive with a slight smirk for a second. "No, more amusing and a good thing to know. Clocks are a little easier to break then hearts.....when it comes to fighting anyway. It would never change my opinion about you." Smiling when she spotted the open cave she sped up slightly. "You deserve to be spoiled...not that it would help that ego of yours." Smirking again at her she tilted her head, her tail curling around to rub against Glaive's. "If you don't want my help I won't be harmed by it. I'd understand."

"Perhaps it is both, the woods are huge after all." She whispered before shrugging looking up at the entrence to the cave cuirously. "Bat man?" She asked looking at it in amusement. "Ah, yes they are quiet easy to break and I am unsure of if mine can be repaired and replaced like my father's can. Would be a terrible waste of a clock though, to crush it now." She piped before blushing softly. "Oh you think I have an ego, an ego! Well we will just see who has an ego by the end of this miss priss!~" She said nipping at her chest uncaring of the fact that the whole sentence didn't make much sense.

Raising an eyebrow she shook her head. "No bats live in my cave. Cats and bats don't get along real well." In fact they were nearly as despised as the damn dogs were. Nearly. "I grew up in a cave so when I came here it was the first home I looked for. This one I had to fix up though." Entering the cave she headed back, the walls starting to narrow until it was blocked off by a large wall with a door. Adjusting Glaive in her arms she managed to slip the door open. The inside was much warmer, candles all over the walls and a little heater in the corner making it cozy. It was one large room with a large bed and all the amenities with a small room to the side where the bathroom was. "Well we'll just have to keep it in one piece won't we." Nipping her ear at the n** on her chest she laughed loudly. "Well we just will won't we~ now lay here and behave." Laying her down on her bed she headed over to her sink.

Glaive gave a soft snort at her as she was told to behave. "Behave? But Crim that is just sooooo not me." She said as she laid out on the bed slowly pulling back the cloak to look at the wound, the blood had started to clot but it was still a nasty looking gash. "You don't like bats?" She asked rather curiously as she looked around the area they were in. It was nice, cozy even and nothing something she was used to. Still somehow Crim had managed to make it into this wonderful little home.

Grabbing a couple rags she soaked them in the sink, turning back to smirk at Glaive as she waited for them to get soaked. "Ok just don't hurt yourself further. You can cause as much chaos as you want later." Hearing her name a little dragon peeked its head out and blinked sleepily at them, curious at the company but not enough to slither out of its hiding place. Giving her newest pet a look that said to behave Crimson wrung out the rags and brought them over to Glaive, kneeling on the bed as she gently began cleaning the wounds, muttering a spell to get it to bleed just a bit more so she could fully clean it she laughed slightly. "It's not that bats can't be fine. But where I'm from the cats and bats often fought over territory. The cats are raised within caves at the base of a large mountain range, and when we grow we venture further out and up. The further up you go the more you'll run into the bats, you can see where that would cause problems."
