Lexi was abandoned by her family when she was only young. An old couple find the young demon with striking blue eyes, sitting by a river humming a sweet tune to herself. They took Lexi in, raising her to be strong and independent, but also a way to fit in. She now is in highschool, and has been living a human based life for many years. This includes a human boy, one that seems to be admired by Lexi. They become best friends, and he has yet to know of her demonic secret. The devil wants her back. Little did Lexi know, that she is one of the most powerful demons to be alive today, and he wants her power, dead or alive. Can Love save her from this, make her stronger? •€• Lexi was walking home from school on a Friday afternoon, the weather beautiful. The sun showed through the tree's, and down to Lexi, making her hair and eyes seem to shine. Lexi was humming to herself, and began to wonder were her close friend, Darrin may be. She shifted her bookbag slightly, and continued to walk, the sun hidding behind some clouds. •€•

Darrin was slowly walking home from school, not looking forward to the pile of homework he had to do once he got back to his house. He might be up all night trying to finish his work but it would have been worth it since it was nice outside and he wanted to enjoyed it while it last. About to turn the corner Darrin stopped noticing Lexi walking the other way and instantly smiled before walking over, sneaking up behind her. Being as quiet as possible he poked her back before going."Boo!”

Lexi turned and faced him, smiling. " You know you can't scare me " she said with a small laugh. Lexi looked up too him, and asked, " want to go do something? It's a lovely day.." as she smiled sweetly up at him, her hair flowing with the warm gentle breeze.

Darrin couldn’t help but let a grin appear on his face. “Hey, one of these days I’ll scare you, just you wait.” He smiled warmly. When Lexi asked him if he wanted to go do something he pretended to think really hard about it, crossing his arms and looking off into the distance as if he was deep in thought.” Hmmm…go home and start chemistry homework or go do something fun? I’m in.” He smirked.” So what do you have in mind?”

Lexi giggled, "Well of course you would rather hang out with me, who wouldn't?" She joked. Lexi grabbed his hand and said, "you'll see when we get there!" And pulled him off somewhere. A few minutes later, they arrived at an old tree house. It was the first place they hung out four years ago at the beginning of highschool. Lexi dragged him over to it. " Remember this? We haven't been here in so long," she said softly. Lexi smiled at him then climbed up the tree into the tree house, and waited for Darrin to follow.

“Hmm I don’t know… a nerd who likes learning about atoms and neutrons?” Darrin said with a laugh, letting Lexi drag him to wherever place she wanted to go. Once they arrived he looked up at the old tree house as memories starting flooding back to him, earliest being the first week of his freshman year of high school.” Remember? It’s been awhile since we’ve been here. Hell, I’m surprise this place hasn’t fallen apart yet.” Darrin smiled before climbing up the tree after Lexi did, going into the tree house right behind her. Putting his messenger bag down Darrin sat down and looked around.” Yep, just as I remember this place… dusty and a splinter hazard.” He joked with a smirk.

Lexi sat down next to him, looking down. "Yea.." She said with a small smile. She was playing with a ring on her finger. The ring was gold, with engraved demonic writing. She had it on the day she was found by her foster parents, and she hasn't taken it off since. Lexi was deep in thought, starring down at her ring while he talked.

Darrin smiled leaning against the wooden wall behind him.” Remember when that kid kept picking on you the last few weeks of freshman year? You climbed up here with me and I’d hit him with a rock with my sling shot. I got him right in the head too!” Darrin laughed at that memory before looking over to see Lexi was deep in thought about something, playing with the gold ring she always had on. He never asked about the strange designs on it since he just thought it was…well a design.” Hey Lexi, are you alright?” He asked, looking a bit concern.
(( Don't know why but when I saw gold ring and demonic writing first thing that came to mind was Lord of the Rings XD;;; ))
