Sayen did what she did best, laugh and chillax. The flowers tickled her nose as she made sure to smell each one around her. Again, she found herself in a sort of field. Sayen couldn't help herself. The sunshine called to her much like it does to a flower. It made her happy and she gained the energy she needed to keep traveling. That's why she didn't enjoy dark and rainy places. She could not last long in a land of darkness. Nope, sunshine and rainbows is what she liked. Plus, her pelt had such bright colors. It totally looked better in the light.
She reflected on today's events. It started with sleep, as most days do, then waking up. The wake up was alright. Could have been better since the birds were rather loud. Then food...oh yeah... she hasn't eaten yet. Her stomach growled in acknowledgement. It demanded her attention. "Alright, alright!" She patted her belly. She'll have to find something to eat fast or else he'll stomach may start to eat her.

Howa wadded through the trees, nostrils flaring to find prey. The other day she caught that pig, since then~ things have been rather dull. She managed to capture a couple birds, but they were more trouble than anything. The birds in this area were thin and small, making for barely a snack. What she needed was some meat. A land animal meat. She scraped her claws across the nearest tree, hoping to scare an animal, giving away it's position. Her ears picked up a rustle off to her right. Good, she crouched and headed in that direction. He ears pointed forward, ready to pick up changes in directions.
She picked up her pace, just enough to move faster, but not enough to make noise. A large tree hide a borrow at its roots. Her nose picked up hare and her mouth began to water. She crept up to the hole before taking her paw and pounding on the top, encourage the creature to bolt out right into her waiting mouth. However, the hare did escape, but on the other side of the tree. Her head snapped up in surprise. These trees were annoying in all their holes. She gritted her teeth before chasing. The hare darted around the roots, giving Howa some trouble.

Sayen could hear some movement a bit away from the flowers. Maybe it was food? She could hope. Abandoning the flowers, she picked herself up and heading towards the commotion. The noise was getting louder, she readied herself for whatever it was. Maybe she'll be able to snag it! A smile pulled her cheeks at the fun. She wasn't much of a violent person, but a bit of excitement every now and thing was good. She made it to the edge and hunkered down, fangs exposed. The hare whipped out of a bush, never noticing the lion. Sayen easily, scooped it up and snapped its neck. It lay limply in her jowls for mere seconds before a flying cheetah collided into her. They tumbled through the flowers, completely destroying them. The hare was flung in the opposite direction.

Howa extended her claws and made to swipe at the creature before she got a good look at the lion's face. Sayen? She pulled her paw away just in time to slash the dirt rather than Sayen. Howa never saw the lion before running into her. The hare darted through the bush while Howa sailed over it. Howa was luck and yet unlucky to run into Sayen. She was glad it was a 'friend', but lost the hare.

Sayen shook her head to clear her vision. "What just happened?" The fuzziness settled and she saw a cheetah had run into her. "Howahkan?" Remembering the hare, she looked around and spotted it. Howa must have been chasing after it before running into her. Sayen stood up and gathered the hare. "Well, since it seems it was a team effort, whey don't we split it?" There wasn't enough to fill her, but at least it was something.

Howa nodded. "Thank you." Half was better than nothing. She grabbed the hare and quickly slashed it in two. She immediately began devouring it. The chase always made her hungry.

Sayen took a bit more time. Regardless of how hungry she was, she didn't want a tummy ache. "So what brings you back?" It wasn't long ago that they met in a similar area, though...under different circumstances.

The hare gone, Howa responded. "I needed to hunt and this forest seemed to be the best for food." She was more suited to the savanna, but the forest was challenging and interesting. Plus, the savanna was hot with little shade. She loved the shade and games she played with it.

"I love food, especially this hare." She took a nice, big bite. Savoring it before swallowing. Maybe the slower she ate the fuller she'd feel? It was worth a shot. Plus, Howa was running fast and she'll feel swore in a bit. A nap was in order soon. Napping definitely was always welcomed. Sayen wasn't lazy, but she thought down time was essential. She joked, "You should go catch something else for us."

Howa smiled, "Yes, hares are nice. I enjoy chasing them. Though, this one gave me a bit of trouble." Well, the trees gave her trouble, but she asked for a challenge. The savanna was straight and had very little obstacles.
She shifted her weight and felt a swore spot on her leg. Well, this is not good. She flexed her body and found a few more issue areas. Though, nothing serious. Running into a lion had to leave some problems. They were rather large compared to a cheetah.

Sayen noticed Howa's flinch while she stretched. She must have hurt something too. How about we just take a rest while our bodies heal. I'm sure you can spare an hour or two for a quick nap. I know I need it."
Howa considered her words. She really needed to keep traveling, but she wouldn't get very far if she kept working the swore spots. The warm field would do some good. Plus, the extra protection of the lion was nice. Well, she wasn't sure if Sayen would fight, but it definitely was more intimidating where there were two large cats. Howa laid down and rested her head on her front paws. "Yes, a rest would be nice."
Sayen followed suite and rested her head on the crumpled flowers. They smell still lingered on their crunched petals. It wasn't long before both cats were finally asleep.
